Pedler Review - Peckham - London - The Infatuation

"A stalwart of the trendy Peckham restaurant scene, Pedler is an ideal place with mates. It’s a sharing-type spot, with a mix of Mediterranean and American influences, things like fried chicken with polenta, or salmon and chilli ceviche. It also has an excellent cocktail list, which goes some way to explaining its lively (but still relaxed) atmosphere. photo credit: Pedler" - Jake Missing

Giving 4 stars due to still being in soft launch (otherwise would have been 3 stars). We would come back to try the more exciting dinner menu, but definitely not worth it for brunch. Highlights were the beetroot cured salmon, sourdough, and milk foam art. Portion size for the fish finger sandwich was ok, but too small for the avocado toast and the superfood salad with added salmon (as judged by 3 women. I zoomed in a lot for the pics). Perhaps the portions were small because of the soft launch 50% off deal? Regarding service, they started taking dishes away 45 min into our reservation while I was still eating. And they brought the bill and made us pay 60 min in while I was still finishing my latte. We definitely felt pressure to get out. I'm sad to give this new restaurant 4 stars (this is my first non-5 star review). FYI they don't accept AMEX.

Great food with a creative menu! Love how there is something for everyone - whether you're a meat eating carnivore, a seafood fan or a vegan - there are delicious little plates for you! Service was also great! Only star down is because the outdoor space on the side of the pavement is a little cramped, the neighbouring table people would always end up bumping shoulders or bits of arm with you. The portions are also tiny - perfect for 2 girls but definitely will struggle if I went with the boyf. Also they do not take Amex! Which is always a bit of a let down for a London restaurant charging these prices.

Food took a very long time to arrive. It was an interesting concept with all sorts of food, inspired by italian, european, korean, japanese. Food was tasty and nicely plated, but it feels like the concept lacked in continuity and no-one of the dishes were fantastic, they were all average or average+. Service was attentive but slow. It took 20 minutes between getting a drink and getting a bread basket - the restaurant could easily organise itself better between BOH/FOH and bring stuff like bread immediately instead of leaving customers to wait for a very long time for dishes that will take a couple of seconds to get ready.

Fantastic brunch spot in Peckham! The overall atmosphere of this place is very chill and their Brisket Benedict is absolutely to DIE FOR! 🤩 A must try if you like BBQ or just delicious smoky meat in general. Give it a go, seriously.

I’ve eaten here a few times and I have been greeted by the friendliest Australian man ever each time I enter. The breakfast is incredible and they offer great gluten free options. They also don’t judge when you decide to have a beer at 11am which is amazing

Enjoy brunch today at Good Neighbour. Ordered the brisket benedict which was delicious. Poached eggs with smoky brisket works really well. Buttermilk pancakes were also tasty.

Can't fault this place, everyone was really happy, and made us feel so welcome. Between us we tried all the various pancake options, the apple & cinnamon with a side of bacon was superb. Thanks guys and gals for a fab lunch, hope to be back to try the Benny Trio, and the Smashed Avocado with chilli pineapple salsa!!! Plus they do various GF and vegan choices...deffo something for everyone :) Cheers

Went for Sunday brunch and was a little disappointed. On the menu it specifies gluten free bread is available so I assumed this would apply to their sandwiches or even other dishes like the smashed avocado on toast or eggs Benedict. I was however informed that all of those dishes were pre-assembled so couldn't make the substitutions and the only choices I had were the full english or full vegan. left without a choice, I half-heartedly went for full english and it wasn't anything special. I barely ate half of it. I left two stars because the service were kind and the mocktail I had was tasty.
