Good ol' chicken

Overall I give this place a 2/10 only because the French fries were okay. The chicken is not good in my opinion, it wasn’t crispy and there was a lack of seasoning. The sauce I ordered for the chicken was K style and honey butter and the K style sauce was okay but the honey butter sauce was terrible. They need to go back to the drawing broad on that one. The fries were okay not the best I’ve definitely had better. The cornbread was okay, it felt like there was a missing ingredient. It was somewhat soft but not really. It needs butter and honey to make it actually good. The inside needed to be cleaned the tables, floors and counters needs deep cleaning. The staff was nice. I didn’t like the fact that I waited so long for mediocre food. I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend to others. I also spent $20.05 on this food and it was not worth every penny.

Got to give praise to how much I love the batter that the chicken is fried in. Makes the meal feel light. Fries are always on point, crispy but still fluffy. Cornbread was decent since I had a fresh piece. My two downsides with this place is you have to dine in or the chicken won't be as great texture wise and the sauces. I tried the k style, meh but the Korean bbq and buffalo is good. Reminds me of zippys Korean fried chicken but I wish their sauce was a bit thicker. I've tried this place a few times now and the consistency is somewhat there at least in my experience.

Great little chicken spot. David was amazing, from beginning to end. The chicken was succulent, fries were crispy, cornbread was crunchy/sweet and their homemade ranch is fire!! Thank you David! We’ll definitely be backs

I normally get the chicken. This time took the wings to go with the dips on the side. I went with K BBQ, House creamy sauce, K Habanero and K Style sauce. The Good Ol’ Chicken is always on point. Clean spot and friendly customer service. Shout out to Angel at the cashier, very informative on the meals and thanks to the cooks for sending out some fresh cooked chicken all the time. You can’t go wrong at this joint.

Love this spot! The chicken and sauces are fantastic. we're huge fans of all korean food and we love that we can easily get some strips to go from this spot. The only reason I'm not giving the full five stars is because we feel like the prices are a little steep but other than that, the service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. we'l be back often

We had the 3 piece thigh combo. It was crispy but the meat was so soft and tender, it was sooooo goooood, better than expected! French fries were crispy and delicious as well. Even the cole slow was good! To top it off, the waiter Max was so nice and he just LOVES the food and working there, he’s like a dream employee for any company. Bravo to him!!! 👏👏👏

The new fried chicken place has opened and it's great. Simple and clean restaurant serving delicious fried chicken. We have ordered: The chicken strip combo that comes with coleslaw, fries, cornbread, and a dipping sauce. It was all very tasty and made fresh to order. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and has a nice crispy crunch and fries is delicious too. Their dipping sauce is better than any other chicken place that we have tried. A MUST TRY! The portions are big and they fill you up. The staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this place to all those fried chicken lovers.

The chicken here was amazing! David had the best service and the vibes are amazing overall, GOOD OL' EMPLOYEE. Highly recommend the K-Style sauce.

The chicken is cooked to order and takes around 15 minutes. It was fresh and had a good flavor with the breading. The breading was a wet batter style that wasn't too thick. The ranch tasted like it was made in house with a distinct flavor, and the k-habanero sauce was sweet and not too spicy. The restaurant was clean and has several tables for dining in.

I stopped at Good Ol' Chicken after my Pilates class. They have been opened for over a year now. I ordered the three piece boneless thighs with honey garlic butter sauce and a side of corn bread. I really enjoyed the boneless thighs and the sauce blend was just perfect. The cornbread was a bit on the drier side but nonetheless still enjoyable. The crew that was working (two younger gentlemen and a woman) were extremely helpful and happy! Looks like they enjoy working with each other which is great to see! Would definitely come here again to try their other items in the menu.

This is a newer location for Korean fried chicken. There is tons of parking and there weren't very many people when we got there. We were immediately greeted, and the young gentleman was super friendly. My team and I decided to go for 12 wings and made ours combos. We asked which two sauces we should get. We were told the K sauce and Honey Butter so we got our tossed in the sauce. You can get your sauce on the side, but because we are getting wings, we decided to have them tossed. We were given an estimated wait time of 15 minutes and it didn't take that long. I've been to other Korean fried chicken places and it took so long to get our food. This was a lot quicker and I was impressed with that. These wings are very crispy and they were perfectly sauced. There was even extra sauce in the bottom to re-dip our wings. The K sauce was the highlight for both of us. It was a little sweet and a little salty and a bit savory. Really liked that Asian flare. The honey butter sauce was OK. I think next time we would probably get the K sauce and the K habanero sauce. My team told me he thinks their wings are better than Wingstop's and that's saying a lot coming from him. The fries were crispy and tasty. We left feeling satisfied and not stuffed and miserable. I really wanna come back and just try regular fried chicken. This place was excellent.

My husband and I had a shopping trip at IKEA. Looking for restaurants in the area on Yelp, we stumbled upon Good ol' Chicken. There are amazing reviews listed on yelp and we just had to check it out! Good ol' Chicken is located at W Warm Springs Road and South Cimmaron Road. It's in a small plaza next to Winchell's donuts. There is ample amount of parking spots available as well! When we walked inside the restaurant, the team member at the register greeted us. We let him know it was our first time at the restaurant. Looking over the menu, Good ol' Chicken offers chicken wings, boneless thighs, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches. You can get chicken wings in sauces K-Style K-Style Habanero Buffalo Fire K-BBQ Honey Butter Current hours for the restaurant are the following Monday - Friday: 11:00 A.M - 10:00 P.M Saturday: 11:30 A.M - 10:00 P.M Sunday: 11:30 A.M - 8:00 P.M We ended up ordering the following The Deluxe Chicken Sandwich: $8.00 - Lettuce, Tomato, Swiss Cheese, Pickle & Good 'Ol Sauce Classic Chicken Sandwich (Combo) Pickles with No sauce, added a slice of swiss cheese and French Fries. 6-Piece chicken wings $9.00, regular with honey butter tossed. All orders are made fresh. The cook time is approximately 15-20 minutes. We didn't mind waiting! We ended up getting a few drinks and hanging out inside the restaurant. When our order was ready, they called up our order. The Classic Chicken Sandwich was okay. The chicken was really chewy, but the breading on the chicken and pickles were delicious! The French Fries were so yummy! They were perfectly fried and seasoned well! My husband's chicken sandwich was overcooked too. Next, I tried the chicken wings. The chicken wings were better than the chicken sandwich. The honey butter was interesting. It tasted like it had a lot of garlic in it though. I think next time I would try a K-Style or K-BBQ sauce instead! Service was great at this restaurant! The team members were awesome! We had a team member visit our table, asking how the food was and if we needed anything! Great service from the team members, the food was decent!

Staff is great. I only got chicken...3 thighs and 3 strips, both mild. The chicken is so good, love the flavor and love the crunch. Not Greasy. I tried the Good ol dipping sauce, it was much better than ranch. My only complaint is that they have no vegetables on the menu. The dining room was clean, I took my food to go.

I have a 3 visit rule before I rate a business. That way it's fair for both parties! Tonight was my third visit. David was very welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived. Each time I've visited this business the staff has been amazing. It's a simple chicken restaurant that seems to be locally owned. Whether you like strips or wings, this is a great option. I would recommend the Strips. They are juicy, and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is small, very clean, and casual. I highly recommend this business to everyone!

Stopped by to grab dinner and was glad it wasn't busy so I was able to order right away. I ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. The guy taking my order was nice and let me know ahead of time it would take about 15 minutes cause they make everything fresh. Went to the bathroom while I waited and it was clean which I appreciated. I also filled my cup with Coke Zero while waiting on my order. Was glad my meal was still warm when I got home (about 20 minutes later) and loved the sandwich and fries-so delicious! Definitely would go back!

The first 2 times I went to eat here the chicken wings were great. Now the last 3 times it was just awful the chicken wings were extremely small the fries were soggy I'm not spending my money here anymore ! I hate that the quality took a nose dive

We had an excellent experience at Good ol' Chicken! The food was outstanding, and the cashier, David, made our first visit even better with his patience and spot-on flavor recommendations. We ordered the 12-wing combo with fries and a drink. The wings were perfectly cooked with generous meat, and both the K-Habanero and Honey Butter. K-Habanero was my favorite. The fries were simple yet tasty, and the ranch had a unique twist. The quiet, laid-back ambiance, mostly catering to to-go orders like ours, added to the relaxed vibe. Highly recommend this spot to any wing lovers!

I've driven past this location so many times and never thought to go, until one day I was searching for wings that weren't wingstop, and this place kept popping up. It's so nondescript from the outside but just know once you bite in that chicken wing you'll wonder why you hadn't come in earlier. The menu is limited and I appreciate that, I'm tired of restaurants with the Cheesecake Factory menu. Service was good! Staff was friendly, food came out in a reasonable amount of time considering there were two parties ahead of me. The fries are beer battered and super crispy. The chicken wings were very crispy. A little too oily for me but hey! It's fried food what do I expect. I love the seasoning, based on how flavor and juicy the wings were I assumed they brined the chicken because through and through it was seasoned well. The spice level is good may be too spicy for some but it's really good as is. The dipping sauce it comes with is generous, it's like a seasoned and spicy ranch and included in the price. Thank you, because some places want to charge for the sauce when the food needs it . I got the 10 pc wings with a fountain drink. I'll skip the fountain drink next time but the combo meal is a winner for me next time I'm craving wings. Even hours after the wings came out of the fryer they were still crispy! Give this place a try, my experience was great overall.

Really really tasty fried chicken!! The breading is so different and the chicken wasn't drenched in grease. The guy working the front was super friendly too. Definitely a good place to grab a quick lunch, it took about 10-15 mins to get our food

I love a little "oh it burns so good" HAHA The chicken at Good ol' Chicken has a great spicy kick at the end. I had shared the regular wings, K-style with some friends and I just needed more so I ordered the spicy tenders to go. Of course, like many places, I highly recommend you dine-in to have the crispy crunchy experience but honestly my tenders to go wasn't bad at all! The lovely staff gave me a little tip to open up the box a big so it doesn't get soggy-- I am a fan of spicy food so the spicy chicken did not seem too spicy for me but I recommend you go for the regular if you're not used to spicy chili. This place was one of the VERY few places I actually approve of the K-style wing sauce, WOW. I had to order it on the side to take home. A lot of places miss the mark on the "Korean Style" sauce and makes it too sweet... their sauce had a harmonious balance between sweet, savory and hint of spicy. I dipped my chicken in it, my fries in it and coleslaw-- just whatever I can dip. I was very fond of the simple menu they had, it was straight to the point and didn't have so many unnecessary items on their menu. They are a good chicken place and they sell some good chicken. I will be back very soon with friends because... I must force them to try the k-style sauce, immediately! HAHA

Just returned from Seattle and there was kkokio a great chicken place and I was hoping they have something like that here. Craving for chicken I asked my hubby to get us Cane's. He returned mad because it was so expensive for just chicken tenders! So tonight we tried Good Ol Chicken. He was in doubt because we were the only patrons but I told him it's only 5pm. The cashier Saeed (?) was extra nice and with a genuine smile. We told him it was our first time. We studied the small menu and yet in the end got it wrong. The place was clean and I like that each table had hand sanitizers. So we shared 3 piece thighs combo. 1. We didn't know it was boneless 2. We didn't know it was spicy. Our mistake but we still enjoyed its crispness and it's really not greasy. The fries was awesome too. The coleslaw nothing to write home about. The corn bread which everyone said was dry was actually good and we had ours warm because the butter we put melted on top. The sauce: I couldn't figure it out first then later remembered about canes and that's why there's a huge Louisiana hot sauce in the condiment area. Yup it needed it. We ordered extra k sauce which I liked better than the sauce it came with but it was an extra $1.50! My husband can eat hot but first bite he already noticed it and was worried I might not be able to eat it. Well I was able to eat them because I had the other sauce which maybe killed the heat a bit. So after our meal we had a chance to chit chat with the friendly cashier who asked if we enjoyed our meal. While I was perspiring like crazy because of the spicy meal - we finally realized our mistake by misreading the menu. I would still like to try more but hopefully nothing spicy next time.

This place serving wings, chicken sandwich, tenders & thighs and should be known by many because it is so good! They have been open since last year but I don't see much traffic. So crispy and juicy. Will go back for more The chicken sandwich is better than the others I've tried. Found this whole searching for new chicken spots and so glad we visited today. Coming inside, we were the only customers so I immediately hoped the food would be good because there were no other patrons dining in at that time nor ordering. We ordered the 5 piece chicken thigh combo which came with the 5 thigh pieces, fries, coleslaw, cornbread, and a drink. Killer deal for $15.95 if you ask me. Also got the 4 pieces of regular wings to try on the side with the Korean sauce too... once ordered, you basically just choose where you wanna sit and go there. It is very open and spacious inside so you won't feel the need to look far and beyond for seats bc there are plenty. The condiments and soda bar are all also had ketchup, hot sauce, etc for your needs and it is all available for grabs. We waited about 10 minutes and our food came out fresh.. the thighs were so juicy, crispy, and tasty. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything grand but I was actually taken aback of how delicious the chicken was. The fries also had a thin batter on it which elevated the flavor even more.. these also came very fresh. The cornbread was kind of dry and not as sweet per the ones I'm used to but I'm not mad about it at all. The coleslaw was mid but I did not care for it because I dont enjoy coleslaw like that anyways so also was not mad about it. The chicken wings were good but definitely won't get it again because the thighs just blew em out of the water for me. I would go back here and I highly recommend it if you want to try something other than Canes, Popeyes, etc bc this place was actually solid!

Ordered deluxe chicken sandwich here for the first time, and it tasted better than Chick Fil A! So delicious. As always, their french fries and chicken tenders were bomb! It takes about 10 minutes for the food to come out but it's worth the wait since the food is extra crispy and hot.

Courteous service here! Staff offered a free drink as I waited for my fresh order. That, I really thought was good customer service. Since my order would take 15 minutes, that extra step went far. Though I wasn't extremely fulfilled by the taste of the saucy wings, the crispy, plain wings were crunchier and better tasting to me! Not a take away, just my preference, as I prefer chicken wings crispy rather than with somewhat chewy skin! Indoor seating, spacious enough for smaller parties!

Stopped by a little late at night since they close at 10pm, glad that I did! Chicken is very juicy, and full of flavor! I ended up getting the K-Style 6 wing combo and it was extremely filling for me, the fries were super crunchy! Flavor of the wings are between teriyaki and garlicky really yummy and definitely different. Service was great, the cashier was Chris and he had a great attitude. Made some great recommendations, they were pretty fast about getting the food out and it came out scalding hot which I like because I hate getting cold food! Overall, ambiance was great and it had a very chill vibe to it. I will be coming back and maybe trying some of their tenders!

Update! A must read for some TEA! Lovely customer service, Andy. Grade A. AA mothaf**in +. A few suggestions: 1) When you contact customers on their personal cell phone numbers it is wise to delete the number instead of sending a text regarding the order after they write a review and then writing a comment. This is considered HARASSMENT. And yes, you have been reported. Not only to NV restaurant board but Yelp. 2) Where Vegas has chicken shops a dime a dozen, it is not a good idea to tell customers you are glad they won't be coming back, when statistically, restaurants are the worst investment you can possibly make and have more than a 50% of closing within the first two years. Judging from my reviews, and I encourage those to read them (as most of them are 5 stars lol) I'm analytical person, not an angry one. But to each his own. The angry person is you, harassing me and then writing a response because I am honest in my reviews and want to tell people my experience- THAT IS WHAT YELP IS FOR. I'm glad I won't be eating at this dogsh*t establishment either, that's something we can agree on. Much love XO

It's Wednesday September 11, 2024 at about noon. This is my second visit to this restaurant and I found it to be pretty much the same as the last time. The people are very friendly. We were greeted upon arrival with a smile by a young man who was both friendly and helpful. Ordering went smoothly. The food was served hot and fresh. I did wait a minute before eating to let the food cool a bit. The chicken wings and strips were just so juicy and tasty. The fries were crispy and tasty too. A couple of tables were in need of a little wipe but overall the place looks very clean, bright and cheerful. The prices are good, but to be honest, I didn't pay much attention to it because the portions were generous and the cook to order chicken was just so good.

The chicken here is superb! The ambiance and music is awesome, very upbeat makes me want to dance while enjoying the delicious chicken wings! Service was great everyone was cordial and nice! Will definitely be coming back!

I drive by this place quite often on my way to work so I thought that I'd check it out. I ordered a 6 tender meal with the 2 dips + the $4.50 to make it a combo with fries and a drink. When I got the food, it seemed that they had forgotten a second dip and then once I got home and took a look at the food I saw that there was only a handful of fries in there. The quality of the food was good and I enjoyed it, but I can't help but feel that it was a bit expensive for the "make it a meal" portion of the bill with that small amount of fries.

Amazing food and amazing service. David gave great advice on what to order and great service. The Bob Dylan music in the dining room is a great choice.

Came in to see what the hype was about. When we went, the place wasn't busy at all. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was a little bit confusing how to get the chicken. I didn't get the right thing but it ended up being ok since hubby and I ordered 2 different things. I thought the food was ok. Hubby liked it. It was kind of odd that their soda machine only had 3 drinks available so that was kind of a bummer. The place was clean and they had sanitizing gel at each table. It was a good meal for the price. Cole slaw that comes with the meal needs help though.

The food is excellent. Second time coming and I will continue to come for good food, good service, clean restaurant, and great ambiance. Keep up the good work guy.

Came here for a quick dinner with my friend one night after work. She had came here previously for lunch but i've never had the chance to. She ordered the BASIC WING COMBO which includes 6 wings, crunch fries, corn bread, cornslaw, good ol' sauce, and a drink whereas my eyes bigger than stomach butt ordered the GOOD OL COMBO which is the same but 10 wings. Took maybe 15 min for our orders to come out but thats ok. Made to order piping hot and fresh. Restaurant was empty when we arrived but soon 2 more parties showed up. Little spicy, flavorful. Crispy exterior, juicy interior. Simple but delicious chicken. Coleslaw (something i typically dont get) is decent. Helps adds some freshness to all the friedness of everything. Corn bread was corn bread. Fries were decent as well. Their good ol sauce is simple. (someones going to kill me for saying this but its like a lighter version of canes sauce) We ended up having like 5 wings left over between the 2 of us which i ended up taking home to eat another night (can reheat in a toaster oven/air fryer, crisps back up really well) Pretty solid place for fried chicken. Simple but good. Not a bad option outside of the big chains for fried chicken. Decently priced too for the amount of food.

Everything is so delicious here! Everything was so flavorful, so crispy but not soaked in oil. The staff was so friendly and helped me through the menu! It's also very clean inside and they also had hand sanitizer on each table which i loved! They also played some awesome upbeat music.

Now this is some GOOOOOOD chicken. There are many chicken spots popping up in Las Vegas, but this spot definitely stands out. The restaurant itself is super cute, modern, and clean. Their menu is simple, which is something I appreciate because they do their one thing, CHICKEN, really well. They offer Korean style chicken strips, chicken wings, and chicken sandwiches with corn bread and coleslaw . What I love is that their breading is crisp and flavorful without being super heavy. The owner Andy is super cool too! Definitely give this place a try!

First of all, this food has no business being this good. I got my order to go and figured I'll try one in the parking lot before I leave, ended it eating all the wings! The wings were perfectly cooked, crispy in every bite, and had so much flavor. Add that K-Style sauce and it's a party!!! I also got Biscuit Chicken Sandwich combo and man it didn't disappoint. The fries are nice golden brown with light salt and crisped to perfection. Most places just don't care about the fries enough to do it right so I was impressed there. Let me tell about this baddest and meanest Chicken Biscuit Sandwich on scene though!! The biscuit is homemade and checks every box on the list for a biscuit, light, airy, fluffy but firm enough to hold up, buttery, and full of flavor. Then you got this big beautiful crispy fried to my delight chicken breast. The exterior crunch even with that sweet liquid gold glaze on it to the gigantic flavor of the white meat in every bite. Flavor of a chicken thigh in a breast. I thought Captain Planet was going to show up because with their powers combine... Shut Yo Mouth!!! Friendly service to the moment you open the door to the time you leave. It's a very clean, relaxed, beautiful space for dining in. I love the menu is simple and doesn't require so much thought. It's affordable and worth every cent. They over deliver here and I look forward to going back tonight. You better start going now while they're a secret because once word gets out, the line will be out the door for them.

I ordered and paid for 18pc wings to go. When I got home and looked in the box there were only 12pc. I tried to call to report the error and resolve but no one is answering the phone and the voicemail is full and I can't leave a message. This chicken was very expensive and I am very disappointed by my experience. Update: I connected with the manager, Carissa, and arranged to come back in the next day and have my entire order redone for free. Carissa was very nice and apologize for the mistake. I appreciate the responsive to resolve the issue and make things right. The chicken is very good.

There was no one in there on a Friday night, which was nice. My husband and I both ordered chicken tender baskets. For the price, you do get a ton of food. Mine was just shy of $11, and I got 3 tenders, fries,cornbread coleslaw, and a drink. The batter is very good. You can pick regular or spicy styles. They gave us honeynmustard to dip. The place is very clean and the staff is nice. I really like this place. I'm glad I got to try it out.

We were craving chicken wings and this place hit the spot. This was our first time here and couldn't decide on what to get but David made some great suggestions. The chicken was juicy and had just the right crispiness. The sauces were flavorful. We had the honey butter, KBbq, and KStyle. We will definitely come back!

Had the fire and the k habanero sauces. I couldn't get past how sugary they were. If you're interested in diabetes this is the place for you. Chicken and fries both cooked great. Sauces and ranch just awful. Ranch tasted like it was mixed with celery juice after made. If I want exactly plain wings this place is OK.

the wings are pretty good but the tenders are where it's at. I didn't try the sandwich but that's next on the list. the fire sauce is really good. not too too hot especially with the ranch and is a little sweet. the service was great. David was helpful and patient with my indecisiveness lol

Good Ol' Chicken should be renamed OK Chicken. A little pricey, nothing was bad, nothing was great. It was ok. Service was a bit slow, friendly people though. I'll give it another try down the road.

new menu, same good ol' chicken! this is the chicken that reminds me of the one my mom makes back home. i had to go home and eat it with rice, lol cashiers/cooks were super nice and accommodating. incredibly fast service for food cooked so fresh. and to top it off, they always play great music.

Located on warm springs x cimmaron, this place has quickly become our new go-to! The great flavor of their chicken is a combination of the batter and marinade used, and let's just say "good" is an understatement! The BIG OL SANDWICH is any chicken sandwich lover's dream. It is fresh and tasty-- with a perfectly prepared spicy thigh or mild breast topped with lettuce, tomato, coleslaw, pickles and a sesame seed bun. It also has their secret good ol' sauce which is very complimentary (I recommend getting extra on the side!). The crunchy fries and the cornbread are also excellent sides! The K-STYLE SAUCY WINGS are also amazing! Great crunch, fried to crispy perfection... and generously tossed in a flavorful sweet, spicy, unique flavor that is finger lickin' delicious. I would undoubtedly order this again in the future and highly recommend! The ambiance is clean and casual. The staff is friendly, especially the owner Andy. The food is packed with great flavor and all around appetizing. I hope this place is here to stay for GOOD-- because it has quickly become me and my husband's new favorite place to grab a chicken sandwich or some wings! :)
