Yummy yummy yummy. So good and and affordable! Busy so be prepared to wait a little bit it’s worth it. Their hot chocolate was so rich and the pancake is huge and scrumptious. If you want a plate with all the fixings plus pancakes, you can get the griddles “deconstructed.” I ate every last bite!

Visiting NYC and decided to stop here for some breakfast. It was a nice little spot with both indoor/ outdoor seating based on your preference and provided a very nice casual vibe! I got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich (shown in the pic) and it was absolutely delicious! The sauce was definitely a gamechanger on it, but the egg, bacon, and buns were prepared perfectly. It also came with a side of hash browns that were mixed with onion, tomatoes, and scallions that were equally as good! They had several of other breakfast options that sounded great as well, so there's a good variety to choose from! Overall, I highly recommend! But come early if you want a seat just in case!

Walking into this restaurant I was do warmly welcomed by the hostess Kasey The coffee was really superb. Kasey made some suggestions and they were spectacular The food was delicious the ambiance very cozy, but the washroom was like stepping into the 70s at disco ball as a light. It brought back a lot of memories. I really can’t say enough about this establishment, but they kill it with Service with a smile and you walk away totally satisfied Thank you Kasey

I met up with two friends for breakfast at Good Ol’ Days on Monday and we had a really great time! I got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, my one friend got the avocado toast and thought it was very good, and my other friend got the breakfast platter and enjoyed the hell out of it too! My bacon egg and cheese was filling and so tasty, solid cheese, perfectly cooked eggs, and crispy bacon with the sauce and arugula which really added to the sandwich overall! The smash browns were incredible too!! I will absolutely be back!

Google
The Atmosphere is so cool!! Love it! This was my second visit, here in May 2025. My 1st visit a few months ago on March 2025 was much better due to the wait time which was for less during my first visit. The staff was very courteous and professional. They even offered a small discount due to the long wait for our food. The eggs were a bit hard but everything else on my plate was very good Great spot to eat Breakfast All Day. Their Angus burger is delicious.

Good old Days is a diner that delivers on its promise to take you back to simpler times. With a well done decor that sports cute items like vinly records and rotary telephones and meals that's are simple but absolutely delicious it's a place I'm eager to return to in the future. The waitress, Iyana(?) was kind and patient when helping me choose a meal, since I was stuck between multiple items that seemed tasty! And her recommendation was a 10/10. I'll be back for sure. 😌

Google
One of the best breakfast food I’ve had in a very long time. Service is good and friendly, the place is very nice, good ambiance and great music, and the prices are very reasonable. But above all, the food is absolutely delicious. I got a griddle stack (I think this is the name) and almost cried because of how good it was. Someone else at our table got the fried chicken sandwich and it was also amazing. The coffee was really good and the hot chocolate was divine.

Google
Got the breakfast platter and unfortunately not very impressed with the flavor. I want to note that I did order it for takeout so perhaps that impacted overall presentation — It came cold and the peppers in the hash browns weren’t cooked through. The meal tasted undersalted and not very enjoyable

Maya E.

Yelp
so yummy!! good food, love the vibes, wonderful hardworking employees! i loved the hash browns with the peppers so much. glad i picked it for lunch with my grandparents! thank you!

Yelp
Took my order to go and was greeted very warmly by the staff. I Got the Bacon Bacon Egg and Cheese; it did not disappoint at all and came with "Smash Browns," a sort of tater tot/hash brown mix. As a potato lover and transplant of nearly a decade originally from the south, I've seen more skillet potatoes than hash browns when it comes to breakfast potatoes in this area, so the Smash Browns were v refreshing. Not to mention, the indoor dining area is very cozy and the place is Black-owned and operated. Having not looked at the menu prior, the only thing I was missing was a matcha or a fresh juice, but the staff was very humorous when I asked about the drink options making my experience an 11/10.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast! I thought the pancake was dry and needed a lot of syrup but everything else we had was great and the service was very kind, and the food came out quickly. The space is a bit small so expect to wait on the weekends.

Yelp
A nice neighborhood spot! For the food, I had the patty melt, and while it was tasty, I wish it was a little fresher and had more flavor. However the service was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed without being overbearing. It really added to the overall warmth of the experience, and you could tell they genuinely care about their customers. The ambiance was exactly what you'd expect from a charming, no-frills neighborhood diner. It was cozy, inviting, and had that old-school Brooklyn charm that made it a nice spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal.

Yelp
I needed a spot to have a small celebration for a family members grad party for brunch, and all I knew was that this spot was local/Black owned, it had outdoor space, great service and good food! I hit up the owner and he made this a seamless experience for me. Super communicative, flexible and the prefix menu he developed was perfect! The price was fair and the day went off with out any issues. Shoutout to Jeff and staff at the Good ol' days diner. Go here!!!

Yelp
Firstly, got seated right away at 10am on a Sunday morning, and was greeted warmly by one of the young women behind the counter. THE COFFEE? Hot and delicious, with hints of cinnamon. 10/10. Ordered the "cake sized" pancake. Was worried it'd be too big, but alas it was perfectly sized, a little crispy on the edges (which i like) and moist inside. Side of sausage was cooked perfectly. Wonderful vibe, attentive service, and great food. Couldn't ask for more! My daughter just moved to Bed-Stuy and we will be back for lunch!

Yelp
The food is good and flavorful. The menu options are limited but diverse. The service is quick considering how busy breakfast and lunch can be sometimes. The staff is friendly and polite. The prices are reasonable. The food portions are worth the price. The owner is usually present. He is polite, engaging and personable. The restaurant is small with "BRE", Big Restaurant Energy. I' have added them to my list of places to eat at in Brooklyn, NY.

Yelp
I couldn't wait to go to GOD-Winfield's Diner, and I finally got the chance to go to celebrate a friend. There know that there is a wait, particularly on the weekends. Nevertheless, it's worth it. Even better, it's so close to home! My friend kept saying that the fact that the diner is so busy, the food has to be fresh. Not only was the food super fresh, everything was so well seasoned and DEEEEE-LICIOUS! Let me backtrack... The interior is really cute and sort of gives that country home vibe but there's so much to see on the walls. We chose to eat outside so we could talk, because the noise level was a little high inside. The backyard space was so chill and nice. We were able to hear one another, but also enjoy the music. They played a lot of 70s soul music, which was enjoyable for Sunday afternoon. The art installations on the outside walls were funky and creative. Now back to the food. I ordered a lemonade, mint drink that was really ref and tasteful and not over saturated with sweetness like most lemonades. My friend ordered onion rings and chicken fingers. The onion rings were huge, homemade crunchy deliciousness. Initially, my homegirl ordered the chipotle sauce for her onion rings, but found the spice to be too much for her, so she opted for tartar sauce. Spice doesn't affect me the way it affects a lot of people and I was fine with either. I ordered the bacon Chicken, ranch salad, because I'm trying to be more mindful lol. It was so so so so so good. The chicken had a little kick, and the decision to use baby spinach was perfect. The salad was somewhat delicate, but at the same time hearty. The only thing that will keep me from walking over to this diner weekly are my dietary goals. There are way too many menu items that I want to try, but I must pace myself. But all of you, eat your hearts out!

Yelp
Winfields is what Bedstuy needed. Upon walking in you see amazing, meaningful artwork through and throughout. I was taken care of by two amazing servers and not to mention the chef came out to see if everything tasted good. Food was absolutely on point. Griddle stack has eggs, bacon, cheese between two fluffy griddle cakes served with syrup...chefs kiss. Also I was a fan of the hashbrowns which were perfectly seasoned and crispy. You'll want to visit this gem.

Yelp
Good music playlist, fast service, polite staff and also glad to have a restaurant in New York City open before 9am is a rarity. The food was good, a little salty. But still very good diner food. Definitely adding it as breakfast spot for the future.

Yelp
Long wait times here on weekends - I guess that means plenty of time to write a Yelp review! The seating process is very confusing and it doesn't seem like the staff are very organized for the most part, although the service was very friendly overall. Don't come hungry on weekends, it took over 45 mins after ordering to actually get our food. Granted the staff warned us the kitchen was slow so I guess that one's on us. They also offered to comp us a muffin which was much appreciated. Fire alarm went off due to smoke from the kitchen which would've been an extremely annoying and headache inducing, but the staff took it with great humor and was quite apologetic. Onto the food itself - after almost an hour of waiting, we got chicken sandwiches, grits and eggs. The food was decent but not spectacular. Bit of a letdown after such a long wait, and the price is not cheap either ($15-20 per entree).

Yelp
Truly delightful customer service and I was so appreciative of all the vegan options! The place itself is cozy and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Deepa S.

Yelp
I love this place. I've only been a small handful of times and always order the same thing, but it's consistently tasty. Service is great (friendly and attentive without constantly in your face) and the vibe is very chill even on an incredibly busy day.

Yelp
I have found my new neighborhood go-to breakfast spot and it's all thanks to this incredible breakfast platter. The breakfast platter was never a dish I thought twice about. They usually just do the job but this one sets a new standard for me. The portions are perfect to where it's filling but not overwhelming. The crispy hash topped with fresh salsa is what really does it for me. It is crispy, savory and fresh. Trust me! You've got to try it. Game changer.

Yelp
Walked in here to try breakfast on a leisure walk. Food: 3/5 I ordered the fried catfish and grits. The fried catfish was seasoned well, I'd would have liked the grits to be a bit more flavorful.. they were creamy but lacked butter but nonetheless decent. I was given some of their specialty lemonade I believe I forgot the name but it was BOMB! I'd like to go back and try something else to see how they whip it up. Ambiance: 5/5 I was welcomed by beautiful art work of icons & classics at that. I enjoyed the vibe inside as I'm sure you all will too. They do have outdoor seating for larger parties which is great for Sundays =family days or gatherings. Service: 3/5 Service was okay I would have like them to be more attentive. I only saw my waiter once after him bringing my food. I wasn't able to flag him down so I had to get up and get my own utensils and it wasnt crowded so yea. This place is very nice and has comfortable vibe which I love I hope they continue to improve and implement the tips to better their service. Do try if you're in the neighborhood if you enjoy good comfort food!

Yelp
Forgot to take a picture cause I was hungry and the food was delicious. I bought the mushroom chips on the side. I did not want bacon and I didn't have an option to take that off. I'm also glad I bought the mushrooms on the side because I really enjoyed them and I didn't want a little bit to go with my platter I also wasn't sure if it was the same type of mushroom dish. I asked for steamed oat milk in my coffee. It didn't look like it was put in but the coffee tasted really good any way. The sweet potato option for breakfast was really good idea. I enjoyed that.

Kirk K.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in a nice quaint building with outdoor seating. The service was superb. Our server provided great insight into the food menu. We each had a different meal and everyone enjoyed their food. I highly recommend Good Ol Days.

Yelp
Avoiding all brunches due to a Dry January, I ended up at the perfect place for my first brunch of the year; right on Patchen. Brunch in Brooklyn will always remind me of chicken & waffles, sweet meeting savory, eclectic ambience and flavors elevated but still reminding you of home. Winfield's Diner hit the spot this past Saturday around noon without reservations which I would highly recommend. Quaint with cute dinner decor and extremely pleasant staff. They didn't have a cocktail menu, but of course they had coffee, teas and lemonades to start. My party or 4 ordered an array of different things from chicken & waffles, their version of a chopped cheese, a Caesar salad and chicken strips to go. I ordered the French toast which I expected to be crunchier on the outside with a side of smashed browns and sausage links. I left nothing behind; there is definitely something to be said about food that taste homemade!!! French toast was soft, sweet and filling. Smashed brown could use less of the scallion garnish but seasoned so well that I did NOT need ketchup. And the sausages reminded me of a weekend morning in my house calm and relaxed vibes. I didn't taste anyone's food; mine was so good. You know when you order thee perfect thing (ifykyk). Best first brunch of the year, parked across the street and the prices were decent. 5/5 I would highly recommend

Yelp
Perfect little diner in bedstuy. I had such a craving for pancakes on a rainy january morning, and found this great little spot toward east bedstuy. The ambiance is really cute, its small and cozy with lots of retro decor on the walls and classic r&b songs playing. The menu is straight forward and has plenty of diner classics: burgers and fries, soup, breakfast plates, and pancakes. I ordered the pan-cake, a singular cake with the depth of 2-3 pancakes. It smelled of vanilla once it got to the table and was topped with blueberry whipped cream and a side of syrup. This hit the spot: the pancake was fluffy and light inside, but buttery and had a light crust on the outside. The whipped cream was amazing and not overly sweet. This was a great treat and one I will be coming back for again

Reggie O.

Yelp
A small but comfortable place where they make you feel welcome. Amazing food and service we will return soon and regularly

Donna L.

Yelp
Deliciousness served with a side of fabulous 70s and 80s R&B!!! 10! I had fluffy pancakes, seasoned chicken, and tasty lemonade all while grooving to Boogie Oogie Oogie and more! I left happy. Thank you!

Doran M.

Yelp
The Good: So the food was okay, but I can't see myself returning. I had the Pan-Cake (a huge single pancake), and my wife had the Griddle Chick ( twobsilver dollar pancakes with fried chicken breast, smash browns and slaw). The pancake was okay. The chicken was decent as well. The star of the show was the Smash Browns although after eating them I felt I felt like I ate too much grease. The Bad: 1) My coffee was cold. (It was removed by the server) 2) Only one server, so when needed help I had to wait just to make my request. Then my requests were taking longer than I liked to be fulfilled so it didn't make for a great overall experience. 3) The server seems like she didn't want to be there. She was pleasant but not joyous.

Bailey C.

Yelp
I really really want this place to be good because we live so close. But there are a lot of things that need to be improved. A lot of the food tastes like it's frozen. The hash browns have little peppers in the them - not sure why. The fried chicken sandwich is too salty. It should seasoned better using less salt. Everything is too greasy. I just wish it was good solid diner food.
google avatar

Theeban G.

Yelp
This was one of the best burger, fries, and coffee combos I've had in a while. Wow. Everything was seasoned perfect and just went together so well. Even the coffee didn't need any milk or sugar, it was really good as is. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Great lunch
google avatar

Yelp
Best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. Lovely space and people too. Think this might be my new breakfast spot.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
Really nice staff and delicious affordable food. I'm glad to see one of the owners of Mannys bringing ties quality back!
google avatar

Brain C.

Yelp
A lovely cast of warming people in this establishment. Greeted with hellos and the walls create a step back into time. I got the chicken sandwich cooked fully and a great bite of Cole slaw chicken with a hint of mayo was perfect. One of my secret places to enjoy a good chicken sandwich in my lonesome.

Sharmilee N.

Yelp
Support this business! If you're having a bad day, this place will definitely cheer you up. Saw people singing and dancing to the music and you can't help but smile. The ambiance is so chill. Food is really good and so is their coffee. The owner walks around and helps out and I will definitely remember this place for the future.

Joel R.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast. Order the Griddle Chick, you won't regret it. Great service, great music great vibes all around.
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
Delicious - I ate the whole thing. The hashed potatoes are out of this world. Eggs taste really fresh.

Sandra M.

Yelp
A new neighborhood favorite. Stepped in a weekday morning for a quick breakfast. Service was amazing as my servers were very friendly and attentive. I only got a breakfast plate but all the elements were elevated with flavor. Get the hash browns! The ambiance takes you back in time -- with classic photos and soul music.

Angel A.

Yelp
It's was a very nice place to have lunch. I would recommend it. The food was really good so we went back. The green ice tea I also recommend.

Yelp
Please stop by and patronize! Black owned and great food. The staff makes you feel at home. Very professional and kind. I'll definitely be returning. The diner is a good size and plenty of seating.

Sammy P.

Yelp
Really want to like this place. Our second time here we waited a half hour for a table to open up and a full 55 minutes for our food to arrive after ordering. Please turn off your UberEats/GrubHub orders and stop seating people if you don't have the capacity in the kitchen. Your staff is lovely and clearly overworked. Music is good, coffee is good, food was cold.
google avatar

Moe S.

Yelp
Service was quick. Nice decor and ambiance. Very clean, cups and silverware no water stains. Was going to order breakfast platter but also wanted pancakes waitress suggested to just order pancakes and add eggs b/c meat was included (it's 2.50 extra as the menu states). I was craving pancakes but they were not "regular" pancakes definitely tasted like a pumpkin spice flavored or something with a spice. Wish it was communicated before ordering as I would have never ordered them and kept just the platter. They were okay had the nice crispy edges but the spice was overwhelming after a while. Just a regular ol breakfast if you're looking for something simple and straight to the point I'd suggest. I loved that you could just scan a QR code and pay and don't have to wait for the waitress to go back and forth. Would go back to maybe try something else
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times now and this diner never fails to deliver. My favorite thing to get the avocado toast but everything on the menu looks delicious. Our server, Kassidy, was so personable and helpful and the vibes of the establishment are top notch. Great music, amazing service, and the backyard area just opened for the summer so I would highly recommend enjoying the weather and delicious food back there!

Cynthia S.

Yelp
Delicious food, probably the best hash browns I've ever eaten!! Great service and good prices!!
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
The place used to be manny's which was great. Winfield's does its thing tho the breakfast really good it limited they have some items only available on certain days. But it a good time very calm and welcoming and the food is dope

John B.

Yelp
The food is great. If you are in Brooklyn check out this place. They are friendly, atmospheres great.
google avatar

Tara J.

Yelp
Great food and staff! I had the Winfield sandwich with fries and both were tasty. They also have a spacious and chill back patio. Nice addition to the neighborhood!
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
The space is small but the staff was very accommodating for us. We had to wait a while for our food but it was delicious when we finally did get it.

sariah r.

Yelp
The food was great but dont come here hungry the service is H Horrid waited 45 minutes or even more for my food and hade to wait 15 minutes for my drink there is only one server which makes no sense and my parties food didnt come all at one hade to wait 15 minutes for my other friends food 2 stars.

Pedro R.

Yelp
Amazing find! My wife, my son and I had brunch here today. And we will definitely go back soon. The food and service were amazing. My wife and I had the Griddle with home fries amazing. My son was very happy with his waffles and chicken strips. I rarely if ever leave reviews. But this place is such a gem the deserve the acknowledgement.
google avatar

Jamil M.

Yelp
We showed up with 12 people at the last minute and Winfield's was happy to accommodate. Staff was friendly and fun while providing good service. We all had a great time and everyone enjoyed the food. I had the Fish & Grits but look forward to getting back there to try more
google avatar

Felicia K.

Yelp
My kids loved Winfield's staff and the food. The prices were great, and the burger was explosive according to my son and and the girls loved the chicken fingers and fries. My chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers and mozzarella was simply amazing. Everyone was so gracious and we had a great time.

Brad G.

Yelp
My favorite neighborhood spot for breakfast/brunch. Honestly, I come here almost every weekend. People are kind and accommodate my dietary restrictions. Wish I could score it higher.

Jessie S.

Yelp
Great homely vibe and the staff is great. I was surprised to find the owner was the owner because he waits tables like the rest of the waitstaff. He told me he too was once a waiter so he did not want to think of himself more highly than his staff which was very commendable. Food is delicious and I love coming here with my grandson

Ivan T.

Yelp
Holy batman. Wth. Never have I ever been impressed by someones breakfast UNTIL NOW. Came here on rhe fly with my wife. 1st thing that stood out was the lovely and simple decor of the interior. The location has a patio out back for those who want to eat outside. We were immediately greeted by the hostess, warm, friendly and inviting. The menu was provided quickly) we ordered the breakfast plate, 2 eggs meat of your choice and Smash browns yes you read that right, SMASH BROWNS. I got mine over medium while my wife had them scrambled with cheese. We ordered coffee too and I swear it was one of the best cups of coffee I ever had, full bodied with possible hints of cinnamon or cardamom. Took alot of will power to not gulp it down. And I say this because let's be honest, coffee at your typical diner is never that good. But not here, this aint your typical diner. When the food arrived it surpassed my expectations first off, my eggs were made to perfection, I mean literally perfection. It's hard to make eggs over medium with just enough yolk for your toast and potatoes but without the runniness. The eggs were just amazing and so were the smash browns. My wifes scrambled eggs were very good too, not dry or over cooked with a good amount of moisture. This means that the cook or cooks took their time with the cooking. The cost is also very reasonable and my only issue is that I didn't come here sooner. I am ashamed as a Brooklynite that I didn't not find this place sooner. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Great atmosphere, food, staff, service and prices.

William I.

Yelp
Yes yes yes ! Good food with an even better staff have to go back and try the breakfast !
