Good Things Grocery

I was first introduced to Good Things grocery via their sister store in Martindale. The Lockhart location is stocked with farm fresh veggie, local sourdough, a delicious selection of prepared foods, beer, wine and so much more. Cute gifts, speciality items and of course the grab and go breakfast tacos are a fave. The service is always excellent and I love supporting a local business.

Great little grocery store! They have a good selection (including Mill King milk) of meat, vegetables and wine. They are also very friendly.

so fun and food was delicious! i forgot my lunch, so I swung by, and I am glad I did 👏🏼 I got 2 delicious breakfast tacos and a dirty iced chai - yum 😋 the owner, Taylor, greeted me and was very welcoming too! super great shoppe for organic options and fun gifts !!

Pick up some local, sustainable, organic ingredients or choose from their delicious prepared foods (smoothie and a cookie, anyone?) ready-to-go. I don’t have to think twice about quality or integrity of anything in this store— it’s already been perfectly curated! This is also a great shop for gifts, plants, or just to hang out for a while. We’re so lucky to have Good Things in Lockhart.

Visited for the first time on a day trip from Austin and absolutely loved it! Bought 3 frozen soups and I'm hooked. So fresh and healthy and affordable. Thank you for all that you do! Stay strong and persevere! We are here to support you!

Good Things is a huge part of the wonderful community vibe of Lockhart. I love being a regular and starting my day off chatting with Alex or Dion! Obsessed with their house made Pimento Cheese and their chocolate chip cookies! :D They also have fresh produce, and beers ( non alcoholic as well) in singles or make your own six pack. Oh and they make their own vanilla syrup and oat milk! Ride your bike down to the square and enjoy their cutie little back yard space while you read a book or enjoy your coffee in peace. <3 Can't say enough Good Things about Good Things Grocery!

When I’m too busy to cook I can always rely on Good Things to feed me delicious and healthy snacks. Seriously their soup game is strong. And cheese selection. And veggie options. And baked goods. Should be called Great Things.

It's so great to have this option in Lockhart! We love all of their prepared foods and healthy snacks. Wonderful selection of drinks, too. The customer service is the absolute best ever.

They are horribly rude. I wont be surprised if I get a rude email telling me to take this review down but I will be honest. I don't even think the owners are supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community. Will never come to this store again. The ambiance made me feel isolated.

Great, off the beaten track in downtown Martindale, cool stuff, sustainability, locally produced, small business. Gourmet goodies. Banana bread, cowboy caviar... Near enough Toobs to stock your provisions raft with wholesome decadence. Growing.

This is a cute little grocery store in Martindale. For a small store, they have a variety of items including local meat(frozen), fresh produce, etc. The owner is super nice and always ready to help. I would not mind stopping by if I'm ever in the area again.

Love love LOOOOOOVE this perfect little shop. Most fave? They support LOCAL. Local produce local meats community supporting each other. The natural products are ABSOLUTELY appreciated. Wonderful local market which supports and sells local veggies,meat,snacks ,flowers etc Very nice staff. Love this place and Martindale!

They offer everything from organic local produce including hard-to-find herbs to quality vegan cheese and pantry items (but they are not vegan only!). The people working were very helpful and friendly. I love this grocery and can't wait to go back. It is a beautiful drive there if you don't live in Martindale!

LOVE THIS PLACE! They have all of the specialty items I didn't know I needed, as well as every day necessities at a wallet friendly price! Very happy to have them so close!

This adorable, small town grocery store is just perfect! I stopped in, just to check it out, and found some great items. It was really nice chatting with the owner as I looked around...and the best part, they have a "play room" set up for the kids, so I was able to take my time shopping while my toddler happily played! Smartest idea ever! We will definitely be back!
