I remember buying a donut on my walk to Rosemont elementary school in the early 2000's. I left the city but everytime I visit my mother I stop here!! for an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich! If ur ever in the area I definitely recommend this is a real "mom& pop shop" where u will most likely be helped by the owners 💖💖💖💖💝💝 & the quality of the food will make your tummy happy!! Cash Only!! almost forgot!

Google
This is my favorite local LA doughnut spot. If you're looking for something not too sweet, good, and not a dry doughnut, this is the spot! I think their doughnuts are really fresh. I go in different times and they're always good quality. I think I tried every single one of their menu. 😂Also, their prices are really good for their high-quality doughnuts. 🔥

We had these Donuts at work a couple of days ago and they were so Delicious. I had the ham and cheese crousant and it was really good. It was not salty at all just like in other places that I've had before. My coworkers enjoyed the Donuts as well. They were commenting on how good they were.

Amazing donuts and the croissant sandwich is excellent too.

Google
I give three stars for the really nice lady and the younger boy and girl who I've seen work there from time to time, they've always been really kind. Their donuts are good. I only give three stars for the older man who works there, a rude guy with a condescending tone. Not the interaction I want at 5am. I put service above everything else. I also notice that people who come in are very rude towards him, I guess the energy is just being reciprocated. Maybe it was just a rough morning, still though. Won't be coming back even if it's only a 30 second walk.

Google
I LOVE GOOD TIME DONUTS... This family own business has the best donuts, iced coffee, ham & cheese croissants and overall goodness. Sam & his wife are so friendly and if your a frequent customer they greet you :) makes you feel like those TV show's where they know you by name :)... The donuts are the best you will ever have..perfectly fluffy and can't even taste oil or nothing like those other donuts places (not going to say any names)... <3 <3 <3

Google
I've been going there for about 5yrs. And they have good donuts. However their customer service has deteriorate post covid. I ordered a coffee with French Vanilla creamer and the creamers where bad like cottage cheese, and I note they are not free I paid for them, so I notified the adult man and he got bothered like if I was pointing out something that was given out free to me or that I made up the cottage cheese looking creamer. He was extremely RUDE! But I decided to let it go and went back on a different occasion I was short $.25cents so I asked him if I can just purchase half a dozen of donut holes and he rudely responded NO we don't do that, and I mentioned his wife sold them like to me last week. He got mad and said we don't do that anymore. If you're looking for good donuts with RUDE/BAD ATTITUDE MAN this is your place

Yelp
I came here after hearing rave reviews about their ham and cheese croissants--and wow, they did not disappoint. I happened to arrive just as a fresh batch came out of the oven, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. You can instantly tell how fresh everything is, both by the way it looks and how incredible it tastes. Flaky, warm, savory perfection. I'm officially hooked--this place has earned a forever spot on my list! Plus, they started selling dubai chocolate bites. I was so excited to see flavors like pistachio, cookie butter, salted caramel, cookies & cream, and hazelnut. I couldn't resist and ended up buying one of each. Totally worth it - each one was rich, smooth, and packed with flavor. If you're a chocolate lover, you have to try these!

Yelp
(Tookout 01/20/21 WE @ 8:30am): For a good time, have one of these donuts! I've driven by Good Time Donuts at the high-trafficked corner of Temple St. and Rampart Blvd. in L.A.'s Westlake District for years, but due to the direction I was driving it was always difficult to turn into the strip mall until this fateful U.S. Presidential Inauguration Day, so I took advantage of the perfect timing that presented itself. Did I definitely have a good time with the treats I came away with!? PURCHASE THE "APPLE FRITTER IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD TOUR" CONTINUED... Apple Fritter ($1.75): Not that I was an apple fritter snob - eff it...yes I was! - but there was a certain way I liked mine. 1st, the price was comparable to the going rate. 2nd, it was round, plump, and more the size of my hand rather than my face (an ode to the great Goldstar Donuts in Van Nuys). 3rd, there were a decent amount of apple bits. 4th, the overall burnt color and fritter was very good, and the medium glaze meant a decent messy cracking effect. There were many crunchy odd crannies, corners, and nooks which I liked to break off into small little morsels. 5th, it was fresh based on its temperature but had no hints of oil pockets and gooey apple juices that leaked into your mouth and dripped down your throat. Overall, it had very good value - 4.0 STARS https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gZUvBFlKY6Cdm2UMKK-E2A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Glazed Buttermilk Bar ($1.00): A fresh short and stout medium-glazed creamy bar that easily split down the middle and looked like heavily-collagen lips https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=CJGKM9EfV7zLXU1e8fBT1Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Chocolate & Color Sprinkles Cake Donut ($1.00): Standard colorful sprinkles on one side and chocolate sprinkles on the other side with a vanilla frosting and fluffy donut - always puts a smile on my face https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_D9J3TWFQfA1FAIT1za2gA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Pineapple Strudel ($1.00): Fresh, slim, and filled with sweet pineapple bits, jam, and pulp down the middle with a nice flaky exterior - quite a lovely surprise https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gU68U1MucGkvDPJNX2RkzA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE Greeted by a friendly masked Asian woman, we chatted a bit while she gathered my order into separate paper bags so they didn't touch each other. Soon enough, I paid and was out the door as we exchanged pleasantries - easy-peasy! PARKING (FREE) Located in a tight strip mall (e.g. Pizza Hut, Metro PCS, a laundromat, clinic, etc.), parking certainly could be tough (I was lucky). Otherwise, parking also tended to be difficult along the main drag of Temple St. and Rampart Blvd. based on the time of day as well as all surrounding side streets. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A small shop with one main donut display case https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=evA49noNqiCNqIXHFijubQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, easily legible drink/food menus/prices boards https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=5TxSpFivFqmoyeKAqzbtcA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, there appeared a decent-sized dining area that was completely closed off due to COVID-19, minimal decorations, and a separating Plexiglass between you and the staff. Plenty of natural lighting came through the shaded glass windows and door while standard electric ceiling lights covered the rest. I didn't notice any TVs nor background music. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sCaHP4mujwb807HVujJrcg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Good Time Donuts produced a party in mine and my roommate's respective bellies and glad I finally made it here. Everything tasted lovely, the prices comparable or better, and the service was fine. They also sold coffee/drinks/juices/tea, various snacks, and more! Plus, it was always a pleasure to support a mom & pop small business. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $5.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, it was CASH ONLY (an automatic 1-star deduction in my book), so no accepted credit cards such as mine of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Yelp
Cristina and her husband Sam are so welcoming and nice. They are a beautiful family and will treat you like one. Amazing and fresh pastries and donuts made every day. I've been coming here for the past 30 years and feel as welcome as I did when I came to this country

Yelp
My parents have been going to the laundromat in the same "shopping center" for years. They have been eating at this donut place for 10+ years, they'd do laundry every Friday and as they waited for their clothes to dry they'd get a coffee and a donut every Friday of the week. Just recently we stopped coming to the laundromat because they closed it to remodel it, and by the time they opened it again we were doing laundry at Lucy's. Lucy's closed down so we came back to the laundromat and I decide to stop by and get some donut holes... and let me tell you the taste is so familiar, the smell of the place hasn't changed at all. Still the same good quality and variety but with a couple new items!

Yelp
I like this place! The donuts are tasty and fresh, with little deviation from your standard corner donut store offerings. They have a variety of beverages (even bubble tea!), so you won't be thirsty. And it's cheap! The one caveat is that they do not take card, so be ready to visit the ATM (conveniently placed inside the establishment) if you are cashless. There are several regulars who seem to hang out there every evening after normal working hours. It's nice, and gives the place a friendly community feel. Best of all? It's cheap. Did I say that already? No but really, sometimes they will have surprise non-donut pastries that look very homemade, and they are consistently tasty. I have never heard them referred to by name, but I have had one little cake with seeds on top a couple of times. That's all I got!

Yelp
This place is so small only 1 can enter and be 6 ft away from another. But there is no control and people order over other people and possibly infect each other with covid19. Everyone should stay away from this place until a vaccine is distributed or they establish social distancing control.

Yelp
Unassuming little spot on the corner of Rampart and Temple. Fresh, delicious, and heavenly donuts. So fluffy and perfect. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely going back for more!

Yelp
this place is extremely annoying. I am not even rating the food because I never had a chance to have it because the line moved so slow and there were so many incredibly annoying people in the shop. I'm not a fan of the crowd at this place and I will be avoiding it with my life.

Yelp
Best apple fritters in Los Angeles. Don't believe me, compare a California Donuts fritter to one from here. You will instantly see, smell, and taste a huge difference! It might be opium infused but I don't care, it's affordable.

Yelp
By far the best donut shop in the area. Better than MS Donuts by Von's, K&K's at Alvarado & Sunset, Winchell's at Beverly & Alvarado, and certainly not as sweet nor as expensive as Donut Farm and Donut Friend! Believe me, I've tried them all! The recipe here creates very fluffy raised donuts and this is the only place I've seen plain raised donuts (no glaze!) You can take them home and add your own toppings, glazed or fillings. They also make glazed split-top buttermilk old-fashioned donuts and they are wonderful! Coconut glazed donut was new to me and is now my favorite. There is an Oreo donut I have not tried yet and of course lots of cake donuts. Clean shop, great selection of drinks from milk to teas and hotchata. Almond cookies and Madeleines at the register too. Super nice Cambodian woman runs the register in the afternoon, lots of regulars and a racially and socio-economically diverse clientele. I love this neighborhood shop!

Michelle T.

Yelp
Best boba and ice coffee for sure especially in the afternoon when it's hot. The ham and cheese croissants are so bomb I'm addicted

Yelp
Yo yo yo... It's hot as hell in the City and it's 6 AM so you're half awake and in need of some serious Donut Store black coffee - or yose (I don't smoke but you can buy cigarettes there...)...or live near Temple...or there's a line at Tommy's down the block...or the helicopters (which I like to call white noise) kept you up all night cause you're new to the area AND would like a donut or my personal Donut Shop test - besides the coffee - a Ham & Cheese Cwah-sount...or Crassent...or Croissant...I suggest going to Good Time Donut. A back in the day haven for g's - g's now stand for good coffee and good Ham & Cheese croissants....Ever wonder if all donut shops buy their Ham & Cheese croissants at the same place - like the H&C Mega warehouse or something...sounds feasible...maybe? Maybe they should open a H&C and Coffee joint only...where people who love H&C croissants can meet up and chill without a wholesalers license... Anyway - If you're rolling down Temple St or even the 101 S - (get off on Benton, cut across Benton and turn right on Rampart, head down a block and turn left at the light - it's the tiny ass lot on the right with the laundromat...) grab yourself and H&C croissant, ask the lady, "Yes, I'd like it heated up, please - thank you" and end with smile. Tasty.

Yelp
Perfect money laundering front never have maple bars in stock. Right by my house. I guess

Yelp
the best donut IN THE CITY!!!! the most freshest and delicious donuts! My favorite. I'm never disappointment every time I come here. the people working here are so nice and polite. I feel bad because this one customer was being so rude to them and said their service was bad because he had to wait for a couple minutes while the worker was serving someone else. Guys you have to be patient because it gets really crowded sometimes and they can't serve everybody all at once

Ace M.

Yelp
These donuts are so delicious and worth it. It's so cheap and people are friendly there. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Todd W.

Yelp
I always stop by after working late on the weekends. The prices are good and the staff are very nice at this Filipino-run shop. Parking is tough, but usually not too crowded.

Klarissa F.

Yelp
The workers there are super friendly! The parking is small and crowded, but apparently there's a back lot parking. I would suggest the apple fritter; it was good. I will definitely visit again.
google avatar

CD H.

Yelp
Love this donut shop! If you drive by it without stopping, your mistake. We stopped in for a cinnamon roll and an apple fritter. The gentleman that helped us...WARMED UP...the donuts!!!! Perfect temperature, fresh, and soooo good! Thank you!
google avatar

Marina R.

Yelp
Fresh donuts. Cash only. When we went they didn't have jelly filled ones (wtf?!). Decent place to satisfy your craving for sweets.

Cristabell F.

Yelp
New to the neighborhood, I decide to give it a try. Its really small place, lots people go, but to my dismay. It wasn't so much the area, it being a small donut shop, in facr reminded me of a donut shop I use to go in my neighborhood. where they greeted everyone with a "Hello." Now there pastries seemed good and sweet, it was however the attitude and mean face gestures I got just entering the place that made the experience bitter. Especially the middle aged lady in the morning, she gave me a stinky look, after my purchase that just made me want throw damn bagel to the ground. Might be the only donut shop by my block, but its not the last of its kind
