Very stylish and I love the idea of this place, but my meal felt like more style than substance. I had the pasta du jour topped with dungeness crab. The pasta itself is homemade (egg noodles), and it was tossed with butter, herbs, romano, and summer vegetables (zucchini/squash, carrots, broccoli, green beans). The flavor was nice, but the carrots were pretty undercooked and the broccoli was overcooked (zucchini was perfect and had some grill marks; green beans were crisp but in a good way). While the pasta was nice and warm, the crab was chilled on top, which was jarring. My meal as a solo diner for that dish + 1 can of Sanpellegrino came out to around $50 with tip, and that didn't feel like a $50 meal. The atmosphere is very trendy with the branding and neon signs. The back room looked extra cozy for larger dining parties and had some goods for sale as well — but if I didn't have to pass through there for the bathroom, I'd have had no idea. The host was very friendly and found me a seat in the bar area, but service was pretty slow and the kitchen area sounded stressed. I heard another party make some complaints about their dish, but the host and nearby kitchen staff seemed attentive about it and receptive to feedback. Had to wait a while for the check. I'd give them another try in the future; just didn't hit the spot this time. Their other menu items do look more fun and inventive.

Incredible experience, both in culinary and service. The staff are all very kind and knowledgeable in the dishes they serve. The food is a wonderful blend of creativity and expertise. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable while providing an experience that's worth your while. You can't go wrong with any dish you order. The chefs clearly take great care in each dish they serve. If you are in the area, this is a place you will not want to miss!

Everything was spectacular. The menu is incredibly thoughtful and well executed. The gnocchi is made in house, the cured fish board is fantastic, the polenta is a perfect blend of crispy & creamy. In addition to a fantastic spread, the front of house is knowledgeable, attentive & friendly. When choosing a wine, the staff spent time guiding our tastes and allowed us to sample several bottles before deciding. We chose two bottles of natural wine for our party and loved them both - You’ll be so glad you came!

The food was delicious, unique and it was presented beautifully. However, the portion sizes were quite small at an exorbitant price. That could have been justified by the service. But, sadly, the service was just mediocre. At least the wine was good! I truly hope “Good Times” can stay in business through the slower seasons. If they want to make it, though, they should lower their prices; make their portion sizes a bit bigger; and have the servers come check on their clients more.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning to pick up a few pastries. I was greeted warmly, service was excellent, as was the overall atmosphere. I was in a rush, but next time I'll plan on staying longer. The outdoor patio is lovely - a great place to enjoy coffee or a meal. Pastries were excellent, nice vibes all the way around.

TL:DR - This restaurant is new and it shows. Best to stop by for a glass of wine and an appetizer rather than a full dinner. Party of 4, made reservations the same day for Saturday night. We arrived and we to the front door. There were 4 signs on the door, so it took us a few seconds to figure out we needed to enter through the garden. Walked in and no one greeted us. Over heard the front of house manager talking to a guest and name drop “Alec” several times. Eventually, a server talked to us and said they would clear a table. Service was slow and disjointed. Seems like a very small staff. Oysters and mussels were lovely. We ordered the pasta, which was clumped up and raw in the middle. We also had the sole, which was just weird. The garden looked modern. I would go back for a glass of wine outdoors.

We had an amazing dinner here! The food and service was spectacular. A small intimate gem for a lovely date night but also family friendly! We had 2 little kiddos and a dog and the entire staff was very accommodating and lovely. Will definitely be going back!

High prices and small portion sizes. We’ve been here a few times since it opened and had good experiences — we were so excited to have a good food and wine option in Gearhart! — but the dishes this most recent time were so small and expensive I don’t think we’ll be coming back. Our bill was $99 before tip for two with one glass of wine each, and we came home and ate leftover pizza to get full.
