"The menus at so many hotel rooftop restaurants read the same, with sad hummus platters and overpriced calamari. You won’t find anything of the sort at Goodale Station. This spot at the Canopy By Hilton hotel has things like venison tartare, pan-seared scallops with dark chocolate mole, and a killer prime strip steak. Goodale Station is truly a gem in Columbus. From the moment I arrived, the experience was welcoming and elevated. James, the bartender, was exceptional. He was professional, warm, & incredibly knowledgeable about both the cocktails & food. He made thoughtful recommendations based on what I was in the mood for & everything he suggested was spot on. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the visit even more enjoyable. The menu itself is eclectic & internationally-inspired, offering a creative range of dishes that are both flavorful & beautifully plated. L Whether you stop in for a casual drink or a full dinner, there’s something for every person. What I especially love about Goodale Station is how versatile the space is… it’s perfect for a date night, a work meeting, solo travelers, or even someone who needs to get a little work done in a stylish & comfortable setting. It strikes a rare balance between upscale & approachable. Of course, the views are arguably one of the best in Columbus. Watching the sunset over the downtown skyline from the rooftop is an experience in itself…. absolutely stunning. Highly recommend this spot for both locals & visitors alike.

We went during a slow period and it was wonderful! Chill atmosphere and great service. The drinks were fantastic and we hope to come back to try again. 10/10 would recommend the cereal dessert

Goodale Station is one of our favorite places in Columbus! We usually go in the evenings but we've also enjoyed their brunch. Every time we go, the drinks are of exceptional quality, the food is creative and delicious, and the staff are friendly but never pushy and are extremely professional, and always willing to have a conversation about the alcohol offerings (or any other topic!). The staff have also offered recommendations for drinks based on preferences and enjoy making custom drinks. The ambiance of this space is unparalleled - you almost feel transported to the 1940s with the moody aesthetic and lighting. There is a rooftop terrace with comfortable seating, a fire ring, and amazing views of downtown Columbus. There is typically music playing, but it is rarely too loud, which is much appreciated as it is easy to have a conversation. Prices are on the higher end, but on par with other restaurants in the area, and absolutely fair for the quality of food and drink offered. There are food options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten intolerance. One of my favorites - 10/10 recommend!!

Incredible experience at the Goodale station. Beatiful settings, great service with food to match! We were seated by the window so the evening started off with the great view. Our daughter had a martin (Porn Star), which she said was very good. We only went for appetizers but it was more than enough for all of us: Charcuterie (I think this was the only miss as there was nothing special about the cheeses, just your average of the mill cheeses), strawberry fennel, Salmon Tartare, Smoked Trout Dip, Shishito Peppers and Korean Buns - everything else (except that one mentioned previously) was absolutely great. For the dessert, we went for chocolate cremeux and it was incredible. Plus, our server (Soto - hats off to you, great job for the service!!!) when he found out that we are here for special occasion (our daughters graduation) gave 4 macaroons, which our daughter absolutely loved. So fantastic experience overall!!!

The overall experience and atmosphere is very modern and beautiful. Amazing view of the city. The staff were extremely polite and made sure the evening was wonderful! Let’s talk food! My dinner here was on Valentine’s Day so the menu was slightly different as they were doing a special menu and event for the special day so if some of the food discussed is not normally there, don’t blame me. I started with the Freefall which was a non alcoholic lemonade and I don’t remember what other flavors were supposed to be in the drink but it was absent. They could have just called this lemonade with a decorative flower because I could only taste lemonade. Though it is a knock on the description and mix this was one of the best tasting lemonade I’ve had. Not overly sweet and very clean and crisp lemon flavor but as far as other flavors, I’m sure there should have been some but all you taste is lemon. The highlight of the food was the starter, the spinach crab dip was brilliant. It was warm and creaming, perfectly seasoned. The chips could have been any carb, there was nothing special to them and definitely not enough for the amount of dip you get, I ended up just eating it with a fork and was delighted. I love spinach artichoke dip and this dip with the crab took my favorite starter to a whole new level. This is a MUST order! My main was the lamb shank. This was good but not worth the price. It was bland and flavorless. However, it was the tenderest meat I’ve ever had, it literally fell off the bone and fell apart. Clearly the chef knew how to cook it, unfortunately there was no flavor. There was sauce but again flavones. The most flavor was the few pomegranate seeds scattered about. Furthermore I feel like there is a disconnect between wait staff and kitchen as it came out at room temperature as if it had sat at the window for far too long. My partner on the hand was very happy with the crab ravioli. Home made, flavorful, seasoned, and just brought joy to him and his tummy. He is a huge ravioli critic and said this was one of the best ravioli dishes he has ever had. I definitely feel I just chose wrong. For dessert, I had the peanut butter cheesecake and let me start by saying, I’m a cheesecake enthusiast and I’m disappointed to say this was NOT cheesecake. The brownie crust was burnt, I had to scrape the filling out to avoid burn taste ruining it. The brownie parts which were not burnt were delicious but the cheese cake part was a peanut butter brownie or blondie, not a cheese cake. The texture was wrong, it was not creamy, it was the same texture and consistency as the brownie which is so far from cheesecake it just isn’t cheese cake. If this had been called a peanut butter layered brownie, I’d rate this a 5/5 but I can’t when you call it cheesecake and there was nothing cheese cake about it. I enjoyed my evening here and my partner was very happy with the evening, service was stellar and loved the atmosphere, however for a $200 meal, I’d say the only thing I’d pay for again is the crab dip and my partner’s ravioli, the rest was something I would be disappointed to get from a chain like Applebees or lower quality, not a location labeled as fine dining

Had dinner here on the balcony on a Monday evening and there was no wait. The meal was delicious, as were the cocktails. The view was great and the staff attentive.

We recently had our wedding reception at Goodale Station, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made! What truly stood out was how effortlessly everything flowed. The staff anticipated our needs without us having to ask, and they made sure we, along with our friends and family, had everything we needed to enjoy the evening. It felt so relaxing and joyful to have such a wonderful team looking after us. Most importantly, we had the best day of our lives. Surrounded by our closest loved ones, everything was perfect—the food and drinks were phenomenal (our guests are still talking about it!!), the ambiance, the service—truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience to start our new life together. If you're looking for a venue that combines impeccable food and service, an intimate setting, and a team that goes above and beyond, Goodale Station is the place to choose. We are so grateful to them for making our wedding reception so beautiful and memorable for you and your guests! Highly recommended! Photographer: Derks Works Photography Clare & Max Reeder

Today I had the pleasure of dining at Goodale Station for brunch. I really liked the layout of the restaurant and the atmosphere. From start to finish, beginning with the beautiful ladies who greeted us and who were so patient and accommodating. We sat outside and enjoyed delicious cocktails while waiting for a table outside. Our server, “Kat” was the best as we were a chatty group with a lot of questions. She was so sweet. The food was amazing and we are a picky group. We ordered a number of entrees from the brunch menu and were all in the “clean plate club” ! Thank you to the manager and bartender and the staff for making our celebration absolutely perfect. Will definitely be back ! !

Yelp
Such a beautiful space on the rooftop overlooking the city. The food was all decent and good. Server was nice enough. While I don't feel I ever need to go back, it was still a good place to have an evening catch up with old friends while we were in town. We had multiple appetizers, main course dishes, and desserts (photos attached) and they were all three to four star good enough.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great service, fun & inventive drinks and one of the best views of Columbus, both from the inside & on patio. Love that 90% of menu is small plates & sharables and only 6 entrees because I prefer to eat tapas style. Great happy hour as well. I intend on trying it out sometime. Parking was not difficult on a weekday around 7pm, but not sure how it would be on a weekend. LOVE the tables w/ couches you can sit at. This place is chic without being pretentious. Only downside would be that with a menu that small, once you've tried a lot of the small plates it's like you've had most of the menu and almost want to wait for the next seasonal one to arrive. The stuffed buns are a must have!! I intend on making this a go to spot for me :)

Yelp
Service was great but food was subpar. Drinks were good. I would go back k when the rooftop is open.

Yelp
Good food. Great rooftop patio. Excellent service. We took my mother here for her birthday, it was a Monday so there were not many people at the restaurant or bar. We had a very, great seat on the rooftop where we took a lot of great pictures and enjoyed the view. Since it was my mother's bday, the waiter gave us a glass of champagne and macaroons to celebrate. Totally recommend during the day if you're looking for a nice view.

Yelp
This is such a cute rooftop restaurant and bar. Grade for groups as they have a private room in addition to the outdoor patio with fire pits and a full bar on the inside. My burger was great and the broth that these muscles were in was so delicious. To drink I had the jealous Justine and it was great. Will definitely remember this location next time I am in Columbus, Ohio.

Yelp
A beautiful restaurant but could use some updates with their menu. Came here for dinner with my colleagues and upon entering, it's confusing where to go as you'd need to take an elevator up to the restaurant. There was no signage outside for you to know if you're in the right place. Took a guess and we actually ended up at the restaurant - yay. The service is good with our server being very attentive, however the food really needs some work imo. Started off with a cocktail that had babies breath for garnish. Babies breath is toxic to humans and should not be used in food, so I was quite surprised to see that my drink came with a whole bunch of it. The drink itself was good, so no complaints with taste. Charcuterie 5/5 - This was a great platter for sharing and had a huge variety of different cheese ranging from sharp to soft, pickles, jams etc. They could've provided more crackers but nonetheless, this was great! Duck pasta 2/5 - This is what caught me by surprise. I thought my duck pasta would come in some sort of sauce but unfortunately it was a complete miss for me. It came in this soupy base and had white beans in it as well which was weird in texture and flavour. I ended up picking out each white bean individually which left me with about half the dish to eat. The taste was also nothing spectacular, it truly tasted like chicken noodle soup. Such an odd dish that sounded so great, but unfortunately was not for me. The vibes and views are great here, but could use an update to their menu and drink practices.

Yelp
I love this spot for the views and drinks. Staff changes up the food and beverage menu every 3 months, so it's possible you won't be able to get the same thing if you go multiple times. This is on the top floor. You'll walk in, go to the elevator, and there's only 1 floor to choose going up. Choose that one. You'll be greeted by a host when you get out of the elevator. It's pretty spacious with the large bar area (bar, bar tables and booths), a seating area to the right, and a more private room in the back. The private room is nice because it's not as loud as the others. Drinks are fabulous here. This trip, I went with a group of colleagues & we had a ton of apps & some drinks. Everything was great, but I do miss the lavender cocktail they had in the winter.

Yelp
This time I decided to give it a try and was not a bad experience. I did not get the best impression because when I arrived they let someone else in under my reservation, luckily was a Tuesday and the place was not crowded, but the story had been different if it was a Saturday. The service is the best part of this restaurant, Tara was our server and she is amazing, kudos to her. The ambience is not mesmerizing however is cozy and classy in a casual way (confusing, I know). The food is nothing to day for, I like the fact the menu is short, but the options available did not impress me. Presentation was nice and both dishes lacked some seasoning but in general the food is good. I don't know if I would come back, maybe if the menu changes in a for-seeing future.

Yelp
We had drinks and apps here on a Monday night while we were house sitting in Columbus We went for happy hour and to check out the view. We had an old fashioned , sangria and a margarita They were good and reasonably priced. The apps were ok. The cheese board was the star. The Korean dish was the most disappointing. The biggest letdown was the view. Maybe it'd be better after dark but at 4:00 the view is of an empty parking garage

Laurie G.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. Huge windows and outdoor seating with nice views. I sat at the bar and service by Melanie was great. The cocktails were different, fun and delicious. The wine list fairly extensive and the food that I enjoyed was delicious. Everything was nicely plated and drinks well garnished.

Jonathan M.

Yelp
If you happen to be in Columbus for a conference (or local) check this awesome roof top bar. Good vibes and views. Cocktails aren't terribly expensive and the food is next level. We got the Korean inspire garlic rolls (picture) and they didn't disappoint. As long as you have a reservation, it doesn't take too long to get seated.

John B.

Yelp
Great place to date night. Drinks are expensive and not worth it. The food has A good mix of flavor. The view is everything. Light music playing was perfect. I gave it a for because it's small portions for the price. However I think you come for the view. There are other places not far from here that serve food equally as good for less but doesn't have the view. It's worth a try on a date. It's open very late for Columbus downtown which makes it worthwhile.

Aja H.

Yelp
Went there before for drinks late one night which was fine sitting at the bar and with the views. So...decided to go back for a date night cap amd this time grab a quick bite. We had a server who was training and the service was good. Unfortunately the food was not. The crab & asparagus appetizer was okay enough to share. But the shrimp and grits was abysmal! The grits had no flavor and the shrimp was barely cooked with an ancho butter sauce that was more butter than chiles. If the shrimp were blackened and then placed in the sauce maybe it could've been saved idk. I should've known when I heard others leaving going to the steakhouse next door. Just good for drinks and views!

Abbie S.

Yelp
Only came for the rooftop bar and view. It was super windy so the patio was not the moved but they kept the doors open. Service was good, but overall was super cute and great place to have a cocktail

Brenna G.

Yelp
What an amazing lil spot!! It's right downtown for this romantic date night vibes. I wouldn't come here for anything other than more intimate. I did valet..$8, ya can't beat it. Ya know your girl got a couple dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives. I wouldn't get anything else. I just love the merino kick. They killed it. Service was awesome. I will definitely be back here. 10/10. I am happy. A for sure more fancier place. More rooftop feel no doubt. Keep up the great work.

Alexa N.

Yelp
Ambiance: The ambiance is great! I love the rooftop view of Columbus. We got to be there during a storm and the storm was crazy, but the views were beautiful. Perfect in the evening and on cloudy days. Food: We tried a bunch of their menu items. We got: szechuan beef, aloo masala, burger + fries, salmon, caesar salad with chicken, and Korean garlic bread. I'm still not sure why it's called Korean garlic bread when there's nothing Korean about it unless you pay extra to add kimchi. It was a decent sized garlic bread filled with cream cheese though. The caesar salad was delicious, but it was overdressed for my liking and to add chicken it's $8, making it a $20 salad which is overpriced to me. At least the chicken wasn't dry! I enjoyed the szechuan beef and aloo masala. Their fries remind me of McDonald's fries, but just crispier! Drinks: We got the Manix Pixie, Abnormal Nectar, spicy marg, and Tokyo Tea (Mocktail). Good cocktails and it's priced higher than usual, but it is a rooftop bar. The mocktail was delicious, but $9 to not have alcohol in it was steep. Service: LOVED our waiter. He was efficient and so kind to us. He checked in quite often and even offered to take our group picture on their patio area. It was a friend's birthday and he was so sweet to give us 6 macaroons so we could each have one. Would come back!

Tony M.

Yelp
The food was good. I had the steak and mini potatoes with broccolini. Potatoes were outstanding. Steak was good but no Hyde Park. Service was fast and friendly. The cocktails were good. The atmosphere was outstanding. Great view of the city.

Jayme H.

Yelp
I had some coworkers in town and made a reservation here online because I heard that the views were amazing and that their cocktails were tasty, so this sounded like just the spot. We arrived right on time and the staff was absolutely amazing from the jump. That is one of the main reasons I would come back.. On top of the great views, of course. And after our visit, that's what would make me return.. Unfortunately not the food. We started with a charcuterie board and some cocktails. The drinks came out looking super photogenic, as did the charcuterie board. The board included super crunchy crostinis (hard to chew), a pate, some jam, nuts, and three types of cheese. One of the cheese options was so hard that we couldn't even cut it with a knife without extreme force. One of the staff members that came and took our plates confirmed and honestly, it just wasn't enjoyable to eat. On to the entrees.. No one at our table was super pleased with what we got. I went with the vadouvan cauliflower which was legit, a giant head of cauliflower cut into fours on top of a lentil salad, herbs, cut up citrus and a few other things. Once I really dug into it the flavors were there, but a head of cauliflower was definitely not what I expected.. The others ordered the duck and expected pasta of some sorts because that's what the menu said.. Instead it was more like a soup. We skipped dessert. As I mentioned from the jump, the staff was incredible and I would totally return for the views and drinks, but I'll skip the food until they change up the menu.

Yelp
We had been wanting to try Goodale Station for a while, after seeing some cool photos. It is located on the top floor of the Canopy Hilton hotel, and the rooftop gives some pretty awesome views of the city. I was weary about parking, so we Ubered. We went for brunch on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded at all. The bartender was excellent, we each got an espresso martini and shared the tacos (chorizo, scrambled eggs, salsa, cotija cheese, shredded lettuce). They came out quickly and were delicious. They come with a side of potatoes and chicharrones and we enjoyed the crunch of the chicharrones. The inside is swanky and there are several different areas to sit for small or large parties. It was an open air set up when we went which added to the ambience of the rooftop setting. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Goodale Station and will now add it to the short list of places we plan to take friends who are visiting from out of town. I will say, the cocktail prices are a bit steep for Columbus (espresso martini was $18), however the brunch cocktails were more reasonable (around $10). Regardless, Goodale Station gets 5 stars in my book.

Lauren H.

Yelp
Stop by for good drinks, appetizers and the view, but I'd suggest skippin dinner. First, this is an absolutely beautiful view of the city. It was also a really beautiful view of the moon rising, and I just know that sunset would be amazing here too! Second, the drinks. They had a really interesting drink menu that had a bunch of fun concoctions. I went a little basic and got an amaretto sour, but it was still tasty. I would love to explore their drink menu more. Third, the appetizers. They had a good little menu of appetizers and Shareables. We split the charcuterie board between four people and it was the perfect amount to eat before dinner. It had a few different types of cheeses, nuts, spreads, and meat. I would like to note that some of the cheeses may have been sitting out too long. There were a few bites where it was just a little too hard. Fourth, dinner. Now, this is where I think they fell short (and the reason for my three star review). They have a small dinner menu which tends to mean that the options are very specialized and delicious. That was not the case here. it took me a while to decide, but I eventually decided on the cauliflower and it was described as if it was going to be a curry. Instead, it came out with a curry sauce spread in between. It was also massive pieces of cauliflower, similar to cauliflower steaks. not exactly what I expected according to the menu description. The flavor was just not the best either, it had a lot of lentils, which I don't mind, but the cauliflower steaks were too large to truly get the flavor everywhere and resulted in some thing that was on the Blander side and let your mouth go dry. after seeing what my companions got, I'm not sure if I would even attempt to get a dinner option here again. The service, however, was excellent. Our server was always quick to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. Overall: i'd recommend coming with friends, getting drinks and apps, and watching the sunset!

Juliette G.

Yelp
Great view & amazing bartender. The burger was so soft and flavorful! I don't know if it was the burger or fries but one of them had a kick to it. But sooooo good. I totally recommend.

Bailey M.

Yelp
Wonderful rooftop bar! We loved having this available to us while we stayed at the canopy hotel. They are open until 1am on Saturday's so it was wonderful to meet our friends for a night cap and then just head right downstairs for bed. The bartenders were all awesome and attentive, even when it was busy. The drinks are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and they were all perfection! They also had a wide range of whiskeys which my husband loved. The evening ambiance was very relaxed and chill, music was maybe a touch too loud but not aweful. We didn't try any of the Food but the plates around us all looked great! We hope to visit next time we're in cbus!

Karyn M.

Yelp
There's a lovely ambience to this restaurant on the top floor of Canopy Hilton. The elevator only goes up to the 12th floor and there is a nice open space with outdoor patio. We asked to sit outside (on the other patio) which was quiet and empty and we were completely happy with that. We had a starter of the Sticky Root Beer Ribs, followed by Caesar salad and Three Cup Chicken and finishing with the chocolate tart (crust was delicious). Lots of choices on the menu, many shareable options, and lovely views of the Columbus downtown. The weather was pleasant -- what more could you ask for to have a lovely night?

Vince H.

Yelp
Restaurant is on top of a hotel, struggled to get valet and the hotel staff were not the most friendly or helpful, but not going to fault the restaurant for that. The views from the restaurant on the top floor are amazing, and it is beautifully decorated. The food itself was great, and they had good variety. The best appetizer we had was the short rib and the crab cakes. The entrees were all fantastic. The burger and fries were phenomenal with great flavor. The steak was a little tough, but had good flavor. The fish was phenomenal and salad was all fresh. The mussels themselves were not very good and a bit fishy, but the sauce was fantastic.

Julia G.

Yelp
Overall I thought the food and drinks were very good! But honestly, the best part of Goodale Station is the beautiful interior and view. A girl had a seizure or something here and everyone here was very good at staying calm, calling 911, and finding a doctor in the restaurant. So hopefully there isn't a repeat of this incident but know that if you have a near-death experience here, you will be taken care of! Maybe that's worth an honorary star? That's up to you! I specifically thought the caesar dressing was good- i can be a bit picky sometimes about the dressing and it's pretty dicey at most places but I loved it here. Heavy on the parm as well, as a caesar should be!

Ryan L.

Yelp
This was our valentines dinner out and I would rather have had stayed home and ordered a pizza. Our service was absolutely terrible. Our server, Dustin , was very short and to the point when I noticed him being much kinder and spending more time with tables near us that were heterosexual couples. My cocktail and our appetizer of Brussels sprouts were delicious but our entree of trumpet mushrooms and sunchoke risotto was the most bland food I've ever tasted and it was $28! This was after the server told us it was fabulous. Dustin never took our menus from us, we had to ask for water, which he then spilled on the table and did not clean up. We also had to ask for a food runner to clear our plates. We also ordered a bottle of wine that was listed as a 2016 Bordeaux that we were excited for because of its age and when brought to the table it was a 2018. I asked about the age of the wine and when he went back to check on it Dustin said that it was a misprint, that is understandable but there was no compensation for their false advertising. This place is such a joke I will never be back!

Noa M.

Yelp
Dining at Goodale Station is a real treat and I can't wait to go back! The ambiance is special, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Mmm, the stuffed French toast! I came here for my birthday with a few friends and it offered the perfect celebratory vibe. Added to it, the waitress comped us a glass of wine each and 4 macarons (with a candle)! Additionally, since it's a rooftop restaurant it comes with great views all around -- inside and out since the roof is glass. Note -- Goodale is inside the Canopy Hotel, so there's street or garage parking.

Danielle K.

Yelp
Leaving this review before I even leave the restaurant to say that this place is great--the food was amazing and so fresh and the cocktails were tasty. The bartender (James, I think) was attentive and had great recommendations. And even on a cloudy day like the day I visited, the city views are fantastic. I came from out of town but would stop here again in a heartbeat. Definitely upscale, though, so expect slightly upscale prices. (Arrived around 4:45pm on a Sunday to an empty restaurant, not sure if this is common but I heard Sundays after brunch are on the slow side)

Autumn D.

Yelp
Sorry for 2 Mussel: 5/5 , must try Butcher cut: nah 2/5 . Steak is good. However, the veggies or tomato salad doesn't match. The flavor is too strong, too sour. $61 , not worth it. Coriander tuna: -00000000 / 5 . Please, avoid it, don't order it. Horrible, i don't think they know what re they doing. I don't get any tuna taste, pickled radish - onion - pepper really??? Doesn't match. NO FLAVOR. Soba noodles : no flavor. Server: poor Bartender: poor, they took so long to make our drinks. View: 5/5 Never come back !!!

Michaela S.

Yelp
I have been to Gooddale Station once before this, but only for a work happy hour, so I was excited to hear they have a Sunday Brunch! We had a reservation at 1, but there were plenty of open tables so you can probably just walk in. I want to start this by saying that this was some of the slowest service we have gotten in awhile. It took us 10 minutes to get our cocktails and 40 minutes since arriving before we even got our appetizer. Our server was friendly and definetly not her fault -- just a warning to everyone to make sure you have time to spare. Now for the food-- it almost made up for the wait. My partner and I split two starters (Shakshouka and Pancake Fritters) and a main (Omelet). The Shakshouka was really good and a brunch appetizer I haven't seen on any other menu I've encountered thus far. I do wish there were more than six pita slices, but I'll live. The pancake fritters stood up to their name. They were cakey without being overly sweet and the nutella (I'm asking for extra next time) was a choose your own sweetness situation. Our omelet was well cooked, but the breakfast potatoes were really the star of the show on that plate! I didn't need salt, pepper, or ketchup! They gave me a beer-bettered vibe, which I loved! Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend to anyone for an upscale brunch or special event, just make sure you've allocated enough time!

Yelp
Our party of 3 arrived just before Happy Hour ended, so we quickly ordered cocktails. All had an Old Fashion. They were delicious. We also ordered the mushroom taurine which was very good. We're glad we split it as it may have been too rich for one of us to eat the whole serving. Entrees included the orecchiette pasta which was flavorful. There is an option to add a protein but it was kept vegetarian. The other entree was the jeow bong pork & crab. Very flavorful & the pork melted in your mouth. The third dinner had the mussels. Again, very good. The mussels were a bit smaller than what the diner was used to, but still delicious & no "old maids" (unopened mussels). Overall the dining experience was very pleasant & enjoyable.

Yelp
I was in town, with my coworkers, for a conference, and we got directed to Goodale St. for brunch. Veronica was it for us! We had just left Atlanta and thought Columbus was going to suck but, damn, we're we wrong. We got the pork fried rice, from her suggestion, and never wanted anything more. We appreciate all of the love given to us from the service to the inviting atmosphere. Don't pass up this establishment when visiting Columbus, and don't forget to ask for Veronica.

Yelp
Had a fantastic experience with my family. They had gluten options to accommodate my Wheat allergy. Our waiter Isaac was attentive and personable. Managerial staff Eric and Tim checked-in on us and thanked us for coming in. Will definitely come back! =)

Yelp
I've been two times before and this time was disappointing. Food was absolutely delicious but the service was terrible this time. Started with getting off the elevator to the hostess. We didn't even know she worked there due to her terrible attitude and appearance. Then once seated our waiter didn't seem as though he was excited to see us. The whole night he was barely around serving the bigger groups. It took almost 30 minutes to get drinks which turned into over an hour to receive our food after waiting almost 30 minutes to order. We saw the manager walking all over the place but he seemed to only care about the bigger groups there. What was sad is there is no care for celebrating a birthday or any other occasion which could make for a better night. During Covid we were obsessed with this place but it seems like things have changed. It will be awhile until I return due to service being subpar but will return due to the food. Food ratings: Drinks 10/10 - you can tell they care about the bar and drinks Korean Buns - 1000/10 - keep them on the menu as they were absolutely delicious Cesar salad -9/10 - dressing was good but the crotons seemed store bought Salmon - 8/10 - fish itself was fresh but the vegetables needed something more savory as the overall dish was very sweet Pork dish - 9.5/10 - overall delicious but I wish the spice was all over and not one section. Also the fat on the pork could be removed before serving.

Yelp
This was a very good standard brunch! The mocktails were good but I can't remember what I got. It is on the top floor of a hotel and the building seems quite old. However, Goodale Station itself was cute and the view was very nice. There is a parking garage nearby, and you just have to go through the hotel to take the elevator to the top floor. Staff were nice. Overall, somewhat average experience but would definitely go there again to try their dinner or lunch.

Yelp
Definitely prefer their brunch to their dinner. The food and drinks are better at brunch IMO. Dinner foods are fine but seem pricey for what they are. The view is pretty cool. Service is hit or miss depending on the day.

Yelp
Great service, great food, great location! Highly recommend! We sat outside and there was a view of the sunset which just added to the experience. I loved their burger & can't wait to go back to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Went during restaurant week. So the food was really good but we did have some hiccups getting to there. Drinks and all courses were great. When we went up the elevator to the hostess, I ended up letting the people we were with go in front of us. Then I waited for the hostess to acknowledge us as I stood right in front of her. And waited. Then other people came up and she spoke to them. Multiple groups came up and I tried to but in to get seated. Finally after the line was done the hostess, China, looked at me as I tried to get her attention. I had a reservation for 6 people and the told me it would be a 10-15 minute wait. We got seated about 8:30. The manager did apologize and give us a a complimentary drink for the wait and miscommunication. The trouble defines did not overshadow the taste, but I am just flustered with why the check in with the hostess went like this. The bartenders, waitress, and other servers were all amazing. I appreciated seeing the manager on the floor making sure the restaurant ran at its best.

Yelp
I've been meaning to come to this place for a while and finally made it! Made an early reservation to take advantage of happy hour until 7pm. I was initially concerned with parking downtown, but there was street parking right out front for cheap. Also, there is valet or a parking garage super close by. Had hoped to get seated outside with a view, but seemed to be a mix up with the hostess and someone else being sat at the last table outside right before us. It was overly air conditioned inside FYI. Happy hour menu seemed to be a steal, except there aren't prices, it just says 40% off. Also note you can't split happy hour items between checks. I started with the sangria (not pictured) from the happy hour menu. I was a little surprised when it was a white sangria, and it was quite tart from the orange and other fruit juices. Not my fav. Happy hour cheese board was really good! Would recommend. The chefs snack special was also so flavorful! I don't normally eat pork but this was very tender, mashed potatoes and sauce were so good too! The fancy Nancy drink is what I've seen from this restaurant a lot with the pretty babies breath flowers. It's good but I feel overpriced for what you get compared to other drinks. The desert was recommended by our waiter and I really liked it. The lemon and blueberries went together well and it was basically on a sugar donut. Can't remember exactly what it was called. The vibes, views, and decor here were as expected and very nice. Definitely will be coming back at some point. The only complaint really was the service could use a little bit of improvement, but wasn't as terrible as I've seen with other reviews.

Yelp
Good service, great views imho this is the rooftop bar with the best view of Cbus! Their drinks have always been consistent and I truly enjoy coming here, especially during the week when it's low key.

Yelp
Love This place! Amazing views and service all around! Their patios are super cute and I love that you can pick which side of the building to sit on. The food is unique and they change up the menu often!

Yelp
We decided to share three plates, one from each section of the menu. First, from the "Start" section, were the Roasted Roots. The veggies were perfectly roasted and complemented by a harissa vinaigrette and honey nut squash yogurt. It felt kind of autumnal for March but I didn't care - this was easily my favorite dish! From "Share" we chose the Korean garlic bread. You really can't go wrong with fluffy garlic bread but then they STUFFED IT WITH CREAM CHEESE! I mean honestly, how is this not more popular? Finally, from "Main," we got the Mushroom Bolognese. This is a great dish if you want pasta but don't want something super heavy. The sauce was actually very light and fresh and we ended up scooping up the extras with some of that amazing garlic bread. For dessert: the chocolate tart, topped with a dulce de leche sauce and whiskey cream. Truthfully, this tart wasn't really my jam. I was looking for a little more chocolate flavor from the filling and was a little thrown off by the texture (kinda like the inside of a Fig Newton). However, my fiancé really liked it so don't take my word for it lol. On top of the amazing food, the ambiance and vibes at here are top tier. You get an open air feel with awesome views of the city, comfy couch booths to relax in, and spacious high ceilings. And their menu makes it easy to pick a bunch of dishes for the table and try some different things! I will definitely be back, especially because I was eyeing the Short Ribs and Xo Pork Belly.

Yelp
The first time we visited, everything was excellent. It was our new "favorite place." We told all of our friends. I took my parents back last weekend, and it was a huge disappointment. We ordered the same things, plus a few extras. The bread on our mushroom appetizer was burned--literally black. The toppings had barely any sauce or flavor. I ordered shishitos vegan, but they came out with cheese. I let my parents eat them. I ordered another vegan appetizer as my meal, and it, too, had burned bread. My mom was happy with her meal, but the rest of us were not impressed. It was like we had gone to a different restaurant than the one we visited just two weeks earlier. You can usually judge a restaurant by its ability to consistently deliver quality food and service. This one misses the mark.

Yelp
Can't beat the view of downtown Columbus even on a rainy day from a rooftop restaurant. We dined early Saturday evening beating the crowd and noisy bar. The service was attentive and helpful with the selections. The food was fresh authentic and flavorful. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. The experience was fantastic.

Yelp
Came for happy hour, stayed for dinner. Solid happy hour, cocktails $9, wine $6-$8, beer 5 Ambiance is pretty amazing: glass ceiling indoors and two patio areas with solid views. (Not the tallest building in the area, but she gets the job done.) I decided on the duck confit, very enjoyable, did not disappoint, not the biggest fan of the mashed potatoes, but was pleasantly surprised by the cabbage. The old fashioned was average. I really enjoyed the sidecar and would order again.
