$12 pourovers?? Holy moly.
I got the Ecuador pourover with notes of strawberry, caramel, and cacao (from what I remember) and it was definitely good, but not worth $12. That's what I paid for a cup of a Geisha pourover at Klatch Coffee in Pasadena, and if you look up what a Geisha is, it makes sense for it to be more expensive. I have no idea why all of their pourovers are $12. Yemen beans being more expensive makes sense due to war, but I don't understand why for what sounds like a normal Ecuador or Ethiopia? Is it just the location? If someone knows, please explain to me.
Other than the expensive pourovers, everything else is ok priced. I was intrigued by this place because of their chapatis, and I got the one with soyrizo, but it turned out to be just ok. Also tried the almond butter toast with jam, which was also ok, tasted like something I could throw together at home in a few minutes. Unfortunately didn't get photos of anything but they're reasonably sized at least. My friend, who ended up at a different location before coming to this one said that she was also put off by the price of the pourover and instead got an americano, which she said tasted flavorless and sad.
Parking around the area is all metered but you can pay by card.
Overall this place is pretty meh. I wouldn't come back. If you want good pourovers at a more reasonable price, I'd recommend Klatch Coffee or Stereoscope Coffee instead.
