I stopped by for a quick lunch today, and the coffee and bagel were delish! I also have to give a shoutout to the male barista—he was so friendly, smiley, and welcoming. It really made a difference, and I left feeling great!

While exploring Nunhead for my blog article, I stumbled upon Goodcup Coffee, which I found rather charming. I visited with my partner and puppy to try the pesto eggs. These consisted of two well-done fried Cracklebean eggs topped with pesto, heritage tomatoes, and garlic-steamed seasonal greens. My partner opted for the huevos rancheros, a visually appealing dish featuring two fried eggs on warm tortillas accompanied by smashed black beans, a tangy tomato and onion salsa, crumbled feta, jalapeños, and a hint of chilli sauce. During past visits, I had also tried their bagels and avocado on toast, both of which were excellent. The cosy interior and view overlooking Nunhead Green added to the charm of the place. And let's not forget the coffee – it's truly exceptional. And they are dog friendly!

I enjoy Good Cup well enough but in the recent refurb, they put a bar in front of the till point which is the most absurd decision and makes ordering really uncomfortable when people are sat there. Just... Such a weird decision? Also they had this great brunch menu for a hot minute and then stopped and I don't understand why.

Lovely spot, we’ve had the bagels and pancakes here on separate occasions and were very happily surprised by both. The bagels are on the smaller side but were filling and tasty. The pancakes were the best American style we’ve had in the UK so far. Coffee hits the spot! Would recommend this place 😊

I loooove this place. Coffees are a delight, staff are friendly and the bagels are yum. Has a nice vibe. Plus, love a stamp card loyalty system!

The best spot in Nunhead! Any bad reviews are disillusioned or a reflection of the human because if you want - 1. A calm but vibey place to work, meet with pals or just read your book, the atmosphere is great with plants and vinyls. 2. The service is speedy, friendly and hospitable, very much a community vibe. Anytime I’ve had a bad day, they’ve ensure I’ve left the place feeling better than I entered. 3. Bagels. 10/10. Forget “viral” Brick Lane spots or trendy East London, the food is delicious and budget friendly. 4. I am fussy yet I visit 2/3 times a week, definitely a good spot to regulars and new visitors alike. Anywho, love this place! Bisous x

A trendy coffee shop where I enjoyed an excellent flat white. Friendly service, modern decor, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely salmon beigel here yesterday, beigel just the right texture, rare to get these days, nice bite to it. Located really well, nice atmosphere. When we left, as it was closing time, the owner offered us a croissant, as he said he didn't want to sell them the next day... That's what decided it for me!
