"Goode Company puts the spotlight on Gulf Coast seafood plates at its newly opened restaurant in the Woodlands. Have oysters fresh on the half shell, or fried in the BLT sliders, before moving on to mains, like the hearth-roasted yellowfin tuna. Be on the lookout for seasonal offerings like crawfish hand pies." - Megha McSwain, Sean Hekmat

Google
Great food! We came for happy hour and they had a good selection of drinks and wine at great prices. Then we moved on to dinner. I had the golden file fish dish and it was outstanding! We finished up with the pecan pie, one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Driven by this place a few times and finally stopped in to check it out. LOVED it!! Their crab fingers are to do for if you get them fried, I’m not even a fan of cocktail sauce but theirs is great. The bar seats are so comfortable and it’s kept so nice and tidy. Couldn’t recommend more!

Google
As a constant traveler I am always looking for restaurants that are upbeat and friendly. have found a new favorite place in the Woodlands. Goode Co. Fish Camp has an awesome staff. Ian at the bar is the best. To top that off, the food is amazing. If you are in the area, make sure you go left when you are walking in the door; you won’t be disappointed.

I visited The Woodlands location and if you're not careful, you could easily pass by it because its hidden behind the natural vegetation of the area and sits behind a Circle K gas station. Once we arrived, we made the mistake of Entering the Goode Co. Cantina because they share a parking lot, business sign, and entrance. Don't worry it happens more often than you think and the hostes are friendly and will direct you to which restaurant you want to dine at. The hostes greeted us and quickly escorted us to a table. If you choose to dine inside the interior of the restaurant will remind you of an old school dinner. It's well lit, and some neutral music playing in the background creates a good atmosphere to enjoy your meal. Our waitress was easy going, and answered our questions on the menu, made sure her presence was none if we needed anything but made sure not to interupt our meal by hovering over us being. They offer a variety of options for food and drinks. They menu displayed the many different styles of seafood from cajun dishes like Po Boy sandwiches and gumbo. Then there were traditional options like fried shrimp or catfish. Then other seafood staples like grilled fish, raw oysters, crab cakes, and shrimp cocktail. Honestly they have such a diverse menu you can't go wrong no matter if you stick to what you normally get at a seafood spot or if you decide to be more adventurous and try something new. Between myself and my family we ordered a catfish Po Boy, Christmas Bay gumbo, mesquite grilled gulf snapper, and coastal fried catfish. The food was good my only complaint is it lacked enough seasoning for my taste buds but overall the consistency of the gumbo was solid, the fish catfish was fried to perfection and the portion of food was good for the price. It ranks high among its competitors like Papadeaux, Bluewater Seafood, Bubba Gump Seafood co. or Rockfish Seafood Grill. The food, service, and atmosphere were all on point and worth a try. And if remember if you change your mind they have a Tex-mex restaurant right next door owned by the same company. They are worth a try and a return visit in my book.

Google
First time here and it was nice. It wasn’t spectacular but it’s ok if you are looking for some good dishes. We ordered their oysters and fish dip for appetizers. I didn’t particularly enjoy the oysters due to the type of breading that was on top. It wasn’t for me but again this is my recipe so you may enjoy it. The fish dip was by far the star of our meal. It was pleasantly not fishy served cold with house made firecrackers. Very very delicious! For dinner we ordered a special (halibut) and fried catfish platter with a side of red beans and rice. The halibut was served over some sweet cream corn and it was blackened over mesquite smoke. It was very flavorful and the sweet corn helped balance out the salty of the seasoning. The fried catfish was disappointing. It was not seasoned and the fillets they served kinda look liked nuggets. Was not impressed. The red beans and rice were really good. All and all I don’t necessarily need to go back but with all my reviews this is my opinion based on my palate. That being said give it a try!

Google
Service was a bit weird, like overly friendly and too opinionated but also a bit flakey and inattentive. Food was mid, nothing noteworthy. My bar is how much I take home to my teenager whose philosophy is “seafood and eat it” he call seafood his favourite genre. So this time he had quite a feast. It just misses the mark especially in comparison to other Goode Co. Properties. Won’t be back

The waitstaff and bar tender were very friendly and professional. He food was delicious! It was my birthday and the server sang happy birthday and served a complimentary dessert!

Google
★★★★★ Fish Camp Goode Co. exceeded our expectations! My wife and I shared the Campechana Extra appetizer, which was wonderfully chilled and delicious. For our main courses, I enjoyed the Gulf shrimp and crab linguine, an extraordinarily flavorful dish, while my wife raved about the Gulf seafood skewer. We also shared a small skillet of Brussels sprouts, which were simply delightful. Although we didn't order any drinks and stuck to water, our total came to just under $100, which we felt was well worth the price. The only minor drawback was the parking, as it was quite challenging to find a spot due to the crowd (we visited on a Thursday evening around 6 PM). However, the efficient and friendly table-side service and prompt seating made up for it. Highly recommend Fish Camp Goode Co. for a memorable dining experience!

Yelp
The team at The Fish Camp are an amazing team of compassionate people. Gustavo, our server not only did his job he exceeded all of our expectations. I am on crutches due to a series of basketball related injuries over the years. He got me an extra chair to prop my leg on, ice, did an awesome job of serving us and at the end of the meal assisted me carrying our Togo bag to the car and helping me in. He is a gem and a model server. Thank you ! Monica

Yelp
Such a cute place Yummy food Fresh and fast We had the redfish and shrimp/crab extra ceviche-esq thing on the apps

Dan ..

Yelp
Great food, the facility was well decorated and our server was tentative to our needs. Oyster appetizer, three entrees and two cocktails was $163 before tip. Inflation hits hard at the grocery store as well as restaurants. Seafood is a delicacy and enjoyed the meal.

Lori C.

Yelp
New Menu roll out. Great selections! The food was excellent. Grilled shrimp, grilled salmon, and shrimp poboy with excellent selections of sides. Service was fantastic- Garrett P. checked in frequently and was so helpful and knowledgeable. Ambiance was chill with good music and wasn't overly loud. Very enjoyable to have a meal. Parking is plentiful, though usually in the farther side lot.

Debbie H.

Yelp
Amazing Food, Excellent Service from Ben! The Ambiance was relaxing and welcoming! Excellent shrimp cooked perfectly, Cole slaw was delicious! The wine selections were covered a variety of regions, the dirty dirty martini was perfection made by Ben!

Carrie R.

Yelp
THE BEST HAPPY HOUR in town!!...I've pretty much tried them all folks and this is the real deal! From the awesome staff who always greets us with a warm welcome, the delicious food and drinks to the beautiful bar and patio and HH prices that can not be beat...this is our place! * shout out to awesome manager, Ian, Valerie and Bri who always shake us a mean martini , Ben for his margarita skills and Leon who always keeps us entertained with card tricks (sorcery). And, the hard working oyster shuckers...You guys rock!!

James T.

Yelp
Everything was amazing including the service. Goode company always delivers. I wish I had taken a picture of the oysters but they didn't last long. The golden tile was my favorite. But the shrimp cocktail was a big hit with the kids. My only complaint is the restaurant needs to be closer to my house and maybe a little bigger.

Abby L.

Yelp
Not pictured is the DELICIOUS (fight your family for a bite) Campechana De Mariscos. Our table had 3 orders of it a savory appetizer to get the table started. The place was clean, easy atmosphere, great service with an attentive and kind waiter, Leon. The crab and gumbo were my favorite. The burger was good but since we are at a fish place... get the fish! The Brussels Sprouts were yummy and would eat them again. Absolutely suggest their house margarita with tahini, a good balance of tangy and sweet. Great for groups we had 6 in our party and I could hear everyone at the table easily. Had plenty of space and didn't feel squished. A Goode place to spend your time and money.

Chris D.

Yelp
We were regulars for many years at their Goode & Company counter service concept, in W University. The Woodlands locations have table service, more upscale, but not as family friendly and also much pricier, but that's fine with us as long as the quality is consistent. Service can be hit or miss too but that is a common issue at many restaurants here. On a recent visit, they had a seasonal menu so we ordered a stone crab appetizer. The gentleman who brought it to our table ceremoniously placed a big plate of crushed ice, lemon, some horseradish, tartar and cocktail sauce.... And 2 small to medium size stone crab claws...not even close to 2 bites of crab! We almost laughed ...2 thumb size claws for $35? ! Adding to the $35 rip off, the crab claws were bland rubbery, not even fresh, tasted like previously cooked and frozen. We were so very disappointed that a reputable place like G & C would sell (marginal size and low quality) stone crab claws. Thank goodness the entrees & dessert pie were mostly consistent. We love dining out but it's not a good feeling when one feels royally suckered. That experience really left a bad taste.

Kelly A.

Yelp
We love this place and go very often. I highly recommend sitting on the patio. They have good fans/heaters depending on the time of year. The crab fingers are one of my favorite things.

Larry S.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a late lunch. Our server was very nice and engaging. She was attentive, informative and friendly. My wife and I both got a cup of gumbo to start, and it was great. I had the Redfish on a half shell, and my wife had the Shrimp Remoulade Salad. Both were fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

Bryon P.

Yelp
The fish collars are beyond they should offer them at Goode Seafood Katyfreeway !! The food super service grand! Bryon

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Late lunch for me and my husband. Parking lot was full in front but found spot on left side. Despite the looks of the parking, restaurant only had 2 other small tables full of guests. We were sat immediately and greeted promptly. The server was nice and full of awesome recommendations. We started with Red Snapper Collar (never had before). This was an amazing start. Beautifully smoked, drenched in butter, and balanced with salsa Verde. Yellowfin Tuna served raw center and seared outside on a bed of arugula and a side of mesquite brocolini. Gulf Snapper on bed of sweet onions with a side of macaroni and cheese topped with crab. M&C had a nice extra sharp cheddar kick mixed with a velveta like creaminess. Slice of pecan pie to go. Never fails to deliver. Nice atmosphere. Cute bar area. Clean facilities. Five start service. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I went in with no expectations, now it is my go to restaurant in place of Pappasitos in Shenandoah. What a great place!

Bret B.

Yelp
Is it Cajun, no, is it Mexican, no, is it gulf coast seafood house, no. It is a pretty interesting and good mix of all three. Good raw bar, one of the few in The Woodlands. Really good crab and shrimp apps and mains. Cold brewski on tap. Cocktails. They have good quality fish. The only thing I don't like is too much butter / oil / sauce on good seafood. Most corporate restaurants do this. Anyway, that is my only "negative". This is one of our go to spots for seafood.

Brett N.

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because we enjoyed our experience even if most of the menu isn't our typical jam. --- --- --- I've wanted to visit Goode Company for a while now but never really wanted to take our child with us, so my wife and I finally stopped in during the week between Christmas and New Year when we were both off and he was in daycare. The vibe and feel of the place is just awesome. It's not very large but the decor inspires me to want to come back as often as possible. I would love to shake the hand of the designer and then hire them do bring the same energy to our living room. As for the food, we started off with the garlic bread and were glad we did. It was cut like a pizza, and while each "slice" was on the larger side, it was very light and airy. And not so garlic-y that it was overwhelming. The only bad thing about it is that I could have eaten about four servings and filled up before the meal actually arrived. For the main course, my wife ordered the gulf shrimp taquitos, which were small, but excellent. I went with a shrimp po boy, which was solid. The bread was similar to the garlic bread, which I liked more as garlic bread than I did for po boy bread. But overall, it was an enjoyable meal. I wasn't super tempted but much else on the menu, but I also don't usually seek out seafood-based cuisine. Not that I dislike seafood, but I just don't order fish as my primary protein very often. However, if I am craving that in the future, I'm confident Goode would be the place to try it!

Suzanne R.

Yelp
Excellent service and good!! Quality of seafood a 10. We had wonderful service and amazing food! Snapper was so tasteful and not fishy tasting. Favorites at the table- fried shrimp, snow crab, tuna tostado.

Bill N.

Yelp
Had lunch here on a Saturday. First thing, we sit down and the menu is for Mexican food... The fish joint is at the other end of the building. Oops. Once we were in the right place, we both ordered 1/2 Poboy and a cup of gumbo. Mine was grilled redfish, and hers was fried shrimp and shared the grilled brussel sprouts. We eat out 2 or 3 times a week, and this was the best meal I've had in recent memory. Wife made similar comments. I think our waiters name was Colton. He was very good as well. Friendly, and he did a good job of making sure you're being taken care of without being a pest.

Raven R.

Yelp
Wonderful visit! I went came to visit on a Monday around noon, and was greeted with wonderful service and a great ambiance. The food came out after about 20 minutes and was delicious, despite being a seafood based restaurant they also have chicken and burgers. I went with the grilled chicken with the crab and shrimp rice. It was delicious and I finished the whole thing. I would love to return here on my next visit.

Teresa H.

Yelp
First at this place in the Woodlands. Very nice and a wonderful HH. Tuna tostada and a delicious Mexican Martini. Definitely will get back there. Cute decor

Emily A.

Yelp
The food is off the charts impeccable. The service is above board. Great wine and oyster recommendations.

Mike K.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Great location with a interesting concept, Fish Camp and Mexican Cantina joined by a common seating area outside.

Frederick Ted W.

Yelp
One of the best for top shelf but not psycho prices. Only wish is they'd have more choices if allergic to onions. Servers are very well trained the old school way.

Chris B.

Yelp
Nice restaurant, excellent service and excellent food. Shrimp PoBoy was good but you better have a big mouth to eat it. Fries were delicious as well. Disappointed they didn't have sweet tea but the waitress brought some sugar water to mix in it and that helped.

Susanne S.

Yelp
We have been long time Goode Co Seafood fans, like 30 year fans, but to be honest we enjoyed this more. The menu is more creative and has a fun seasonality to it. The food was so amazing - fresh, well seasoned and not too heavy. We kind of sampled around the menu and loved literally everything they brought- mesquite grilled redfish collars, yellowfin tuna tostadas, the broccolini, oh and crawfish campechana was a new twist on our old diehard favorite. Our server was fantastic and the manager chatted and checked on us because we had an allergy at the table. Can't wait to go back!

Dale B.

Yelp
I'm updating this 4 star review based on my visit 8/14/23. I was alone and decided to sit at the bar to not tie up a table. I was the only customer at the bar when I first arrived. There were three customers at the bar by the time I left. Bartender listed as AM Bar D on the receipt stood five feet from me leaning on the counter playing on his phone . The only time he stopped playing on his phone is when food came up to serve or if a customer called out to get his attention. No water or silverware. The manager had to walk past him and tell me that she would be getting me silverware. I had to call out and wave when I was ready for the check. The guy was polite, but felt like he was doing the formalities and not into the conversation. First time he asked if the food was okay was when I was handing him my credit card. My lunch was 73.00. Your staff should have their cell phones put up at that price point. Food was good and the bartender was not rude. Just not paying attention to his business. .

C M.

Yelp
Food was fine. I think it was a bit pricey for what it was. Service was a bit too attentive, nearly oblivious to the convo my wife and I were having. For example, we were discussing something and instead of just bringing us refills, it was, "do you want a refill?" Come back with refills, then asked if we needed more of anything else, then came back and asked if the food was good. I know I know, sounds like I'm being petty. However, please just consolidate, bring refills, don't ask, ask once about food, and let me have a discussion at the table. This review isn't about the service as it was just "ok" food. Just not my style I suppose. Nothing horrible, just ok.

Monty W.

Yelp
First time at Goode Company Fish Camp. The cute cute decor as soon as you walk in. They did a great job of decorating the place. Plenty of tables but we didn't feel crowded. Our server was great. She was very knowledgeable of the menu. We had the crab & shrimp fettuccine & the shrimp remoulade salad. Both very delicious. I was a little disappointed in the amount of shrimp & crab compared to the price of the entry but it really was delicious. Overall we had a great experience & would dine in again

Bianka M.

Yelp
Goode concept that needs improvement. We stopped here on the road to Houston for a bite to eat. The hostesses, the server and management as well as the bartenders were great. We were seated under a large vent so we asked to move and was accommodated. The Order - fried platter - cup of gumbo - Oyster BLT minus the B - catfish beignets - Kids Mac and cheese - Kid Shrimp Drinks - nonalcoholic ginger beer - pineapple/ cranberry juice - Damn good Margarita - sangria The food was good all around The things that rubbed us the wrong way was 1. We asked for sangria and was told that we would have to get it from the bar. If it's on the menu why isn't it on the menu :-/ 2. There isn't a kids menu but the sever offered up kid options in which we ordered from. We got 2 kid mac and cheese and a kid shrimp. The bill came and I've NEVER paid $12 per child mac n cheese EVER even at the finest dining establishments a side of Mac isn't $12 especially when it's a kids option and just liquid cheese and noodles. 3. A mixed drinks which again we order all the time for the boys (Pineapple / Cranberry) being charged per juice so $4 for pineapple and $3 for cranberry. HOW? It's a Half & Half so you charging me per drink for a small cup? 4. Thé server providing parenting advice (laughable). Our boys were restless after a 4hr drive and asked a lot or questions & wanted to stand after sitting for 4hrs. So she took that as an opportunity to withhold their drinks and say things like "obey your parents or no drink" LoL Girl if you don't hand over this drink to our well traveled, well manner children you better ~ said in my head as I smiled to keep my composure. We spoke to a manager about the absence of a kids menu but the receipt saying Kids next to the items and being priced higher than regular items. He explained some things and offered to comp items. We shared that it wasn't to get anything for FREE but more so to provide constructive insight to ensure that no other family is caught off guard. It was such a great gesture so we appreciate it. Will try then again after the kinks, they ALSO didn't have WiFi it was broken which sucks.

Brett B.

Yelp
Awesome experience! I came in on a Tuesday night and the crowd was on the lighter side. I sat at the bar, and the Bartender was incredible. She suggested some awesome craft cocktails - which were delicious. She also did not guide me wrong on the food side as well. Can't wait to bring my wife back to this place next time we are in town!

Todd J.

Yelp
I have been here twice and loved it both times terms. Rico is an amazing server and the food is off-the-charts are we doing over there delicious.

Phil M.

Yelp
Ok foodies we have a new show in town and I think it's worth your time. What I ordered. See pics. Shrimp and oyster po boy with broiled oyster appetizer. Appetizer. Gulf oysters, in butter and breadcrumbs. Served on a bed of what lookeded to be rock salt and seasoning balls. Nice look. Good taste, but for only 5 oysters this is an expensive appetizer. Po boy sandwich. This is a very large sandwich with a grilled bun that appeared to have a butter seasoning spread on it. I got the dressing on the side. Large oysters and shrimp with a tasty coating. If your into these kind of sandwiches this is a winner for you. The restaurant is clean and the tables are continuously bused. Service is attentive and on point. The only thing I'd mention is they aren't very knowledgeable about the menu. Especially as it relates to New Orleans cooking. But the staff is young and the training is in progress. There isn't a lunch menu which would have been nice and it's a bit pricey. See menu. So for a family of 4 it will set you back a bit. But you will definitely come away having had a decent meal. Bon appetite.

Coleton E.

Yelp
They don't miss. Food is consistently good. Some of the best fried Shrimp I've ever had and great service.

D'Artagnan B.

Yelp
We need a "reasonably priced" more casual fish place that's something more than all fried in The Woodlands!.......Yes, there's TRULUCKS and now MASTRO'S, but they are too high ticket shee shee fru fru places that are more special occasion place when you have $$$$$ like that. FISH CAMP is it! Went on an off day at an off time with my elderly in-laws and wife. We're promptly greeted and seated. Lots of people in training (just open 1 week). A little bit of a language barrier with our waiter, but nevertheless was very attentive. Service, food and price/value is the bottom line. Service was very good. The really good: Oysters on the half shell, but didn't come with crackers; Mesquite Redfish; Grandpa's Fried Combo platter; Wife's Fried Oyster Salad (though she wanted shrimp, not oysters; Roasted Brussel Sprouts; THE best Red Beans with Shrimp n Crab Fried Rice; and the Cheesy Garlic Bread. The just okay: Campachena, not enough crab a bit watery and lackluster flavor. It's not as pricey as the aforementioned 2 places, but it's not cheap either. Portions are big so in the end a pretty good value. Everyone agreed they would come for a return visit and could be on the regular rotation for us. I think they'll do well, but peak times will get too crowded as folks discover it.

Jordan S.

Yelp
Awesome spot. Would definitely recommend! Give the red fish on the half shell a try! You wont regret it!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Beautiful patio with mister fans in the shade. Came for lunch service was sick food was fresh. Would double back on this one

Emily M.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and ended up here for dinner by recommendation and it absolutely did not disappoint!!! Great atmosphere and such nice design in the restaurant. The service was great - our waiter was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Even the manager came around to say hello and thanked us for coming in. Everything we ordered was unreal!! We all basically licked our plates clean. Here's everything we ordered: snapper entree, red fish entree, scampi shrimp entree, mixed seafood skewers, hearth-roasted yellowfin tuna, side of the crispy crab boiled potatoes, side of broccolini, texas sheet cake, margarita pie, pecan pie, banana pudding, and some cocktails. You really can't go wrong here. The food was so good i didn't even have time to take a picture of the entrees before they were all gone. Highly highly recommend! Hope to visit again when we're back in town.

Alicia W.

Yelp
Out server Gustavo was great . He made great recommendations, was prompt and attentive. We had the Taquitos and Boudin for our appetizer. I had the redfish and my husband the shrimp salad . We did have cocktails ad those were refreshing.

Peter L.

Yelp
Excellent service and the food was outstanding. Will definitely be back. Oysters were the best I have had in The Woodlands and the appetizer and tuna dish was great.

Mark R.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Our waitress, Karen, did a great job. She made a couple recommendations that were fantastic. We had the ceviche(shrimp) and the mahi-mahi and grilled shrimp! Banana pudding to finish it off!

Kathleen Seery P.

Yelp
I went to Goode Fish Camp for the first time and was assaulted by the awful smell when I walked in. I had read good things about the food so I stayed and looked at the menu. After deciding what I wanted, I started to feel nauseous, so I got up and told the person manning the front desk that I could not stay because of the smell. He apologized, and I left. Has anyone else thought that the fish camp smelled?

Marcy B.

Yelp
This place was great! We enjoyed our dinner and delicious punch drink. Overall good experience

Mary A.

Yelp
Overrated and overpriced! Food was not all that good, limited menu and overpriced for what they give you.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Been here twice now. Both experiences were fantastic! Every dish my husband and I both ordered were amazing. My husband swears it was the best steak he's ever had. Highly recommend!!

Mollie G.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal. We absolutely love the remodeling. The atmosphere is great and so is the service. To start to we got the Dark and Stormy (essentially a Moscow mule but made with dark rum) to drink with Catfish Beignets (essentially fried catfish bites.) 10/10 with the drink and the Catfish. Super flavorful! I ordered the fried Catfish plate with hush puppies (AMAZING!!!, not to salty and crispy just the way i like it) My husband ordered one of the specials with Mahi Mahi. The Mahi was smoked with chopped bacon on top. 1000/10. I actually wish I would have ordered the Mahi dish because we both wanted to lick the plate on how wonderful it was. For dessert we got the banana Pudding as pictured below. Super good, you can tell it is homemade. It isn't too sweet, honestly it is perfect I highly highly recommend coming and trying out Fish Camp. We had a wonderful waitress, Jaidenn, she was an amazing server and was very attentive to our needs and gave wonderful recommendations on menu items. We for sure will be coming back!

Damon D.

Yelp
Attended on 12/9 for wife's birthday. Food was only average at best. Ran out of sweet tea but offered sweetener. Menu selection on many items were vague in description. Menu was overpriced for what it offered. Fried shrimp $27 and very bland only came with fries and literally about 2 tablespoons of Cole slaw. Snapper with 3 shrimp $50 comes with no sides. Small gumbo $9.00 and I mean small and was lukewarm, had 1 and a half shrimp. Mesquite grilled shrimp (all 5 of them) were soaked in butter on a piece of garlic bread soaked in butter, $29.00. All sides are extra $6 and up. Overpriced and just average taste. Portions were small also except sides were good size.

Sherrye R.

Yelp
Monday January 29,3024 I had lunch with 5 friends. Heather was our server. Kudos to Heather as she was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The atmosphere, drinks, food and Birthday Desserts were wonderful. Goode Company Fish Camp did not disappoint!

Donnie C.

Yelp
D E L I C I O U S ! ! The neighborhood needs a restaurant like this! Everything was spot on for flavor & freshness! This reminds me of a typical seafood restaurant in New Orleans. Make a reservation or you will be waiting for a seat!

Charles M.

Yelp
This place is known for its fresh gulf seafood with a creole twist. This turned out to be a great start to a business trip. I just landed and thankfully my hotel nearby had a room ready at 11 am. The hotel had a list of restaurants nearby that was a mile long. I asked the woman at the front counter of my hotel about two places that I noticed while driving. She told me that "you cant go wrong with the Goode co." When I arrived around noon there were two restaurants right next to one another and i was confused, but i decided to go to the Goode co. It turns out that both restaurants are owned by the same company. One is seafood and the other is Mexican. There were a lot of people at the bar and the hostess recommended and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. I don't really like sitting with my back to the restaurant and staff. I chose a table. The waitresses that served me where training and they were very attentive. i ordered the seared tuna which was fresh and filling. I also ordered the wedge salad. everything came out quick and it was worth the drive. I wanted to try the other restaurant, but I got very busy this week in, Houston.

Joanne L.

Yelp
Location, Decor, Ambiance: I stopped by on a Sunday and it was pretty busy! However, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. They have long tables for bigger parties, small tables, booths, and a bar. Food: The food was delicious! Their portions are pretty big so we got a couple things to share between two people. I honestly liked all that I tried. I will say their catfish beignets are pretty similar to just regular fried catfish but it was still good. I was personally looking forward to it being more dough-like than breaded. Their fries with the Po-Boy were also an amazing side. Service: Service was okay. The food came out really fast but it was hard to get the attention for our waiter at the end for the check. However they're really busy so I understand. Price: Price was reasonable! Would Return: Yes!
