My mom has fond memories of this place from a while ago, so we decided to come back. Long time no see! To order, there was a bit of a line, but the people taking to orders were speedy, and the line moved relatively quickly. The atmosphere of this place was pleasant. Lots of families together eating and spending quality time with each other.
I ordered the Buck Fever which consisted of two eggs any style served with venison sausage (jalapeño or regular), hash browns, and toast or biscuits. I chose for my eggs to be sunny side up, the jalapeño sausage, and biscuits. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were seasoned and had wonderful flavor. In addition, the sausage tasted nice too, but I felt like two pieces wasn't enough. I ate each patty in around 3 bites. The biscuits were also on the dry side, yet I loved how they soaked up the egg yolks on my plate. Overall, it's wasn't bad, but this plate wasn't anything special.
I would recommend getting the Chilaquiles. This dish consisted of two eggs, chile-spiced tortilla chips tossed with salsa ranchera, topped with queso fresco, red onion, and crema. It was also served with rice, beans, avocado, pico de gallo, and flour or corn tortillas. Even sitting for a while, the chips were still crispy, and the salsa ranchera had a little kick without being too spicy. In addition, it was refreshing and the crema added was the perfect compliment.
