I come here several times a week. As soon as I walk in the door I am greeted with friendly service and the food is always delicious every time. Ashley is the star of the show and amazing at her job. I've noticed she always helps the other staff even when it's busy. Taylor is an artist when it comes to making bagels, and Peter brings it all together from the kitchen.

Google
There's something special happening at Goodies Bagels. Not only have their bagels gotten even better and more delicious, but they've also added breakfast and lunch sandwiches to their menu - a major improvement to an already great spot. I recently tried their pumpernickel bagel with scallion cream cheese and it was absolutely amazing. It's no surprise that a lot of people are stopping by to place and pick up their orders. I make sure to visit at least once a week, it's definitely worth the drive. The staff is friendly and Vanessa, the owner, was there personally making cappuccinos. The coffee was fantastic and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bagel experience.

Google
Hate when a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel costs $8. But I have to say this one was DELICIOUS!! The blonde lady that took my order was not very friendly. But the curly haired young lady w eyeglasses that handed me the sandwich was very kind and actually thanked me. She should be up front to greet people instead of frowny face.

Google
Frequented Goodies often before the change of ownership and they were by far the best bagel you could find anywhere in the area. Returned once after the re-opening and got stale bagels of three different kinds, so no accident. We were very surprised and disappointed so we made the effort to go back and report our experience. A staff member took down our number, promised a call from a manager, months later we're still waiting...Haven't returned since.

Google
Ordered several boxes of bagels, fruit platters, and coffee for our wedding goodbye brunch. Goodies were very easy to work with. All the food was absolutely delicious and the fruit platters looked great. Our guests enjoyed so much they were packing bagels for the road 😂.

Google
Best bagel I’ve ever had! Even better than NYC. I’m serious! I do wish my BEC had another egg on it. One egg isn’t enough. The bagel was saturated in everything seasoning as it should be 🤌🏻😉 seriously amazing bagel. The girl at the counter seemed like she’s rather be ANYWHERE else, maybe it was an off day for her but she wasn’t very welcoming.

Ben

Google
I never got to try the bagels because they let someone in line order 3 dozen and took all the bagels we wanted. Small places like this should not allow large orders in line especially with a limited quantity of product and require call ahead orders. I guess they got a large order satisfied but at the cost of everyone else after. Very disappointed. The workers all seem very nice however so no problems with the store or workers I'm sure it's good if you get there before the bagels are gone

Kathryn R.

Google
Growing up in NY I always appreciated a good bagel. When I moved down south I was devastated with their lack of decent bagels. So now every time I come back to visit this is my first stop!! Even had my family grab me a sandwich before picking me up from the airport. My go to is - Bacon, Egg, Cheese and Avocado on an Everything Bagel. It's heavenly. It's a burst of savory flavors with thick and crispy bacon. Oh and of course I always grab a dozen day olds to bring back home!

Yelp
Needed to update review because of new ownership. Great bagels, great service and best coffee in town. It's on the pricey side but what isn't expensive in 2025 so no fault to them for high overhead costs. The vibe is just better than it was under previous owners.

Yelp
I was surprised to find good bagels in the Catskills. Good breakfast sandwiches on bagels as well as classic with a smear. Great coffee. Counter staff very friendly. You can't go wrong. Recommended
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
I got the chicken salad on an everything bagel and to be honest, it was just alright. It was lacking some flavor, like something was missing. It was a good quick to-go meal, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a bagel from here.
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
The sausage and cheese is awesome. poppyseed is only available on weekends. The staff is super friendly. Decent cup of coffee.

Sarah C.

Yelp
As a lifelong Long Islander the only downside to relocating to Green County was the inability to find my favorite foods. It wasn't an issue of a lack of my favorite foods but the quality of those foods with bagels being at the top of that list, until NOW! Thanks to the new direction that Goodies has taken I don't need to keep valuable freezer space for Long Island bagels. Thank you Goodies

Ana B.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered both of the breakfast specials to share. They were delicious! Quality ingredients, cooked well, no fuss or pretentious BS, just good, delicious food. Hash browns were perfection! Service was quick and friendly. Clean space, good to stay or to go. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Kaitlyn D.

Yelp
Delicious bagels, coming from a NYC girly. We got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich on sesame, and a BLT with jalapeño cream cheese (TRY IT!!), and both were so delish. Staff was friendly, food arrived quickly. Highly recommend if you're craving a bagel :)

Steven H.

Yelp
On a Sunday morning at 8am. I waited in line for 10 mins. Only 1 person in front of me who was not being helped. No I will be right with you. Just making espresso ignoring the line of customers. The staff was no friendly or welcoming. The bagels are good but the staff sucks.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Great bagels and sandwiches at this Catskill, NY bagel emporium. Quite unexpected and pleasing! Their sandwiches are amped up traditional bagel joint fare and wonderful. We shared the Oy Vey All the Way and Porky's BLT. Smoked Salmon , Pickled , Onion, Capers and Lemon Dill cream cheese on a bagel is sublime. We added avocado to Porky's. Totally yummy bacon was enhanced! We'll be back! PS The coffee both iced and regular were great! We definitely recommend this place!!
google avatar

Shereen A.

Yelp
Ordered the Oy Vey (without cucumbers) and was not disappointed! The bagels are delicious and quite large. They do have quite a bit of rush in the morning so I ordered ahead online and my bagel was ready before I arrived. My one suggestion for them is to perhaps choose the pickled onions or tomatoes (but not both). I actually thought the pickled onions were really creative but the bagel runs the awful risk of becoming too soggy with the addition of tomatoes cucumbers, and pickled onions.

Yelp
Stopped in real quick on my way to Kaaterskill Falls. I have to admit the coffee was amazing here. I will definitely stop by for the coffee alone. My only mistake was buying a small instead of a large. People are friendly worth the stop.
google avatar

Greg P.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious bagels. The bagels and sandwiches are a bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. My only gripe has been on rare occasion with receiving a rude attitude from a worker. But I think it was a bad day because they have been nothing but nice since. I highly recommend the everything bagel with lox, or their brokeback bagel (funny name).
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
I'm showing you the last four bites of my delicious don dada sandwich on an everything bagel. Only downside is that they ONLY have bagels, nothing else. Sandwiches were ready quickly, service was friendly! Establishment is pretty light on seating - this is very much a quick eat & go type place. Coffee was fresh, too. Great work, Goodies.
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
Goodies is always a delicious Sunday morning treat. The bagels that they sell are always tasty and fresh. You can not go wrong with the Oy Vey all the way or any of the egg sandwiches that they offer. The entire staff make great recommendations and are friendly. The inside is clean and has ample seating if you choose to stay and eat. You can see them making your meal and everything being cooked.

Alex S.

Yelp
i asked for extra cheese, they charge me for it and forgot to put it on ,when i called them to tell that, they say i just don't see/taste cheese on my bagel , because it folded inside the egg !!!! lol , there were NO cheese on my bagel at all, would never buy from them again...

Amanda T.

Yelp
People are always super nice there. Love their bacon, egg, and cheese bagels! Not sure where they get their bacon from, but it absolutely makes the bagel. Love the thick cut of it and the flavor. Friendly Tip: Order an extra egg on it. They do go very light on the egg part of the sandwich. It might seem like that though because the bacon is nice and thick, so the ratio gets thrown off a little.

Yelp
I love this place. Great food, great coffee, and great people. I'm really looking forward to going back.
google avatar

Ali Z.

Yelp
I order bagels from here to make at home and they're always good ... this was the first time I ordered sandwiches on bagels to go. Prior to my 8 hour road trip I placed and paid for an order online. Half out into my drive I go to eat my bagel and there is bacon on it. A waste of my time, money and a waste of food... which is the saddest part. I called and they are going to reimburse me but this is very disappointing for someone who doesn't eat meat. Not sure why they just added bacon but here's to my trip starting off badly.
google avatar

Emily I.

Yelp
Two words: Carb. Heaven. I first visited Goodies when I lived in Catskill for 10 months, and now every time I'm back, it's a must to visit. With a minimalist diner-retro interior, it offers a few cozy seats for indoor dining and ample waiting room for pickup/takeaway orders. My go-to order is their signature sandwich, The Babooshka: (Roasted Turkey, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, and Russian Dressing) with a hot latte. It will melt in your mouth and is so, so good! The quality of ingredients beats any bagel I've tried in NYC. I love you Goodies!
google avatar

Julia N.

Yelp
seriously bomb breakfast/bagel sandwiches. I ordered a scrambled (dough boy) with avocado, lettuce, tomato on a whole wheat everything bagel w/ hot sauce...still thinking about it. not the warmest of service but fits NY, If you're in the Hudson Valley looking for a solid upstate bagel, this is your spot
google avatar

Siomara P.

Yelp
Best bagel I've ever tasted ! This place is such a score . We pulled into a massive parking lot and walked right into goodies , we were greeted by such a pleasant lady who was super patient and even offered us a tasting of their cream cheese when I was indecisive between flavors . They have so many bagel flavors to choose from ( garlic bagel, salt bagels, blueberry bagels and etc) their spread list is also large . So many delicious beverage options as well ( lattes, coffees, teas and more) . Can't wait to come back . FYI - their spot is so cute !

Raheem S.

Yelp
I been to this place a few times and always felt the same rude attitude , I was thinking to myself maybe it's just me. Until today I felt this unwelcoming vibe and rude attitude from the same staff members and honestly I would never return to that place again I rather spend my money elsewhere. Truthfully if you don't like your job don't take it out on customers get a new job or quit.
google avatar

Craig R.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to try Goodies for the first time today. Their bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel was really outstanding. The egg was cooked perfectly... deliciously runny! All the staff were nice and I had the pleasure of meeting Sam the owner. She was delightful and made me feel welcomed. I definitely recommend trying this place. PRO TIP: They are limited for space in the seating area. If you are just waiting for a to-go order there's really no need for your whole family of four to sit on all the chairs waiting with you!
google avatar

Karl L.

Yelp
Great food, friendly & prompt service, very reasonably priced and conveniently located, the bagels are delicious, either plain or with one of their yummy spreads, this place is my go to.
google avatar

Louise G.

Yelp
I love this kind of food establishment. Reaching for the stars culinary-wise with down-to-earth pleasantness and good cheer. Bagels are top notch. Sandwich ideas are inspired. I had the smoked salmon and it was mucho delicioso! I would be there several times a week if I lived closer. When I am on that side of the river I will head there for sure. It's kinda hard to find for non-Catskill people. W. Bridge Street is actually two different streets -- confusing that W Bridge intersects with . . . W Bridge! (Or does it?!) Just a few seats. Lovely interior. It's near the health food store. Good chips. Good everything, including good people!

Yelp
AMAZING food but terrible service. Like, horrible. I've come here 5 times, and each time I've waited over 20 minutes for my food after placing the order online and showing up when it said the food will be ready. A few times the order was just downright wrong when we opened it. This latest time I was waiting inside the store for 10 minutes after the time that the online order said it would be ready. I told the girls my name and they said they were still working on it. While waiting I watched the woman working there making THEMSELVES coffee while one poor guy was in the back doing everything. Finally, the guy came out from the back and asked my name. I told him and he said he was waiting for me to come because they didn't have the bagel I ordered. So, I changed my order and he made it quickly for me. Shoutout to the boy who was a hard worker. Again, delicious food.

Sam A.

Yelp
Your doing great goodies please don't listen to negative comments. Between supply problems and people that don't want to work and the rising cost of ingredients some individuals live on a different planet it seems . Good job always fresh . Thank you for coming to Catxkill

Jean L.

Yelp
Food and drink are ok, and very pricy. Not many choices around this area. This may consider ok since there isn't any choices.

Edward L.

Yelp
Don Dada. Great food! Great people! Never a bad meal , and they are always on time if not early.

Jeff S.

Yelp
GREAT bagels. Excellent sandwiches. Delish spreads. Best everything bagel in the Hudson valley

Patrick F.

Yelp
Great food & great service. Would have gave 5 stars if it wasn't so pricey. Small orange juice & a bagel with cream cheese was 8 almost 9 bucks

J D.

Yelp
Best bagels in the area, hands down. The smoked whitefish salad is killer, great coffee, nice folks, cute spot.

Yelp
When I was growing up I only had one goal in life: to become insanely rich so I could trample my enemies. Every day I did my homework to go to a good school but unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough. When I graduated I was in debt and the country was in a recession and I ended up taking a low-paying job working as an assistant at a hedge, making my money-lust grow ever deeper. For years I struggled under the boot of capitalism, working long hours in an office and committing petty crimes to afford appropriate work attire. One night, I got the opportunity to turn it all around. I was introduced to a one-legged bartender named Scotty who used to pour shots out of his prosthesis, they were called stump shooters. You could put any kind of booze in his fake leg but they all came out tasting like stump. I was about four stump shooters in when I got the idea: nobody is completely whole. I took this notion with me back to the hedge fund and really started to pay attention. What were these men and women missing? On the surface, they had everything. Money, power, personal trainers who would come right to the office and stretch their hip flexors while they screamed at each other. And then it hit me, they never left work. What they didn't have was time, love, personal connection, or even the need for personal connection. They had prosthetic lives. I realized I had two options: continue to work for them diligently so that I wouldn't perish under the yolk of poverty, or risk it all and take advantage of my unique position. I think you can guess where this is going, but if not ill continue. I decided to introduce a hungry hedgy to this "wealthy man I met in a hotel lobby." He was introduced as Harold Hermann, but we already know him as Scotty the one-legged bartender. Scotty, aka Herr Hermann, was brought into the lobby dressed in a suit his father wore in a reproduction of "Guys and Dolls," and set about impressing the hedgy. Numbers were never directly stated, but upwards of a billion in war profits were at stake and needed to be funneled creatively to avoid the prying eyes of prosecutors. As the hedgy greedily took down this information, promising not just sanctuary but profits to boot, a recording device hidden within the cavity of Scotty's fake leg captured every illegal sentence. A blackmail plan was afoot! One would think we would confront the hungry hedgy with the tapes directly, but no, we sent it around to the fund's competitors, offering to let them know who they could takedown for a paltry $10k. That money is nothing to a hedge fund, a trivial gamble, in comparison with derailing a rival, and the funds came pouring in. Of course, no one was ever able to take anyone down as Herr Hermann didn't exist and no real crimes were committed, but there are no refunds in blackmail, and I was able to quit my position as an assistant with enough money to find a small cottage upstate in the Catskills, where I have spent my time quietly watching the rest of the world fill their lives with petty wins. The bagels at Goodies are amazing, great coffee, great service!
google avatar

Kira G.

Yelp
Goodies is such a great addition to Catskill. The bagels are delicious, better than Price Chopper and Lox of Bagels IMO. I love that they have whole wheat everything as an option, many places don't. Sandwiches are amazing, their bacon is the bomb! My vegan bff is also thankful for their veg options. As someone who has lived in Catskill my whole life, I am very happy to see new business here, especially a bagel shop with local ingredients and reasonable prices! Keep up the good work, Goodies!!
google avatar

Lee N.

Yelp
First visit here we ordered online I had a sausage bacon egg cheese bagel my wife had a toasted cream cheese. Our order was ready and still a good temperature given the trip time. Both bagels were nice and light and well filled. bacon and sausage were very tasty. Delicious lunch and not a bad price. Will definitely visit again soon
google avatar

Nickelus H.

Yelp
Asked for extra cream cheese cause I could see the dude preparing was going lightly on all the ones before mine and I still got shafted, $11 bucks and the bagel is small and dry as hell too. 1st and Last for me at this spot, born and raised in NYC and live up here now and am blow away I'm paying city prices for upstate bagels.
google avatar

Genna G.

Yelp
Bagels are soft and fresh, the egg sandwiches are cooked perfectly with a runny egg. And the BLT is delicious. The coffee is great as well. Staff is always friendly.
google avatar

Mallory B.

Yelp
We decided to try Goodies as it was a new business in town and who doesn't love a fresh baked bagel with options. The first time we ordered we ran into some trouble but I messaged the business and they were very apologetic and immediately fixed the situation (we ended up not getting bagels because they had run out and had no order for us on file). Anyway, everyone deserves a second chance so we did just that and ordered again. This time our bagels were made to order perfectly. They were warm and just how you would expect a delicious & fresh homemade bagel to be made. I love that you can "build" and customize your bagel. Those use local and organic products also. Definitely a great addition to the area. Only complaint, $6.25 for a BEC bagel with only 1 egg. Two eggs might sweeten the deal (but you can add an extra in the "customization section" if you need the extra protein of course ). We will be back!

Bruce K.

Yelp
Bagels and sandwiches are great. Coffee is really good and service has been very friendly.
google avatar

Maria C.

Yelp
Delicious fresh food food served by wonderful folks. So happy to have this in our area.

H V.

Yelp
Best bagels in Greene County easily. They specialize in bagels, so don't go expecting a hard roll from the gas station type thing. Lattes are also good! It's always really busy, if that means anything. There's a couple places to sit if you want to eat in also but it's kind of chaotic sometimes so I always order to-go. But really, if you love bagels, you're gonna love Goodies. They also have bagels to buy and bring home, and if you're into it they offer day-olds on sale pretty much always. This is one of the only places I can get a blueberry and a poppy seed bagel. We also like the whole wheat everything! I haven't seen that anywhere else.

gracie k.

Yelp
Vegan options and delicious coffee! Friendly staff and great atmosphere, will be returning next time we're in town

Hannah L.

Yelp
Food was great! Lots of flavor and options. Don't forget your latte to top it off.

Lilly R.

Yelp
Honestly I feel bad writing a negative review but it needs to be said. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese w no salt pepper or KETCHUP. Got a thin bagel with bacon egg and barely any cheese doused in ketchup:( my bagel was soggy from the ketchup and I ended up throwing it away bc the ketchup over powered any bacon egg and cheese taste:/ not to mention I paid 7$ for that. Will not be returning

Sky R.

Yelp
Please review your music selection. The base music was extremely loud. Also your staff/crew seems overwhelmed. The order of the bagels were mixed up, can be.. because the music is high and they can't hear the orders.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
We tried Goodies for the 1st time, and we're very happy with our new go to spot! One thing I can say for locals, unlike Lox of Bagels in Saugerties, Goodies bagels won't turn into rocks after 24 hours! We always get a dozen bagels when hosting Brunch with Family, and save a few for the following day(s). With Lox, by the following day, they are so hard, its tough to eat, but the bagels at Goodies stayed soft for days, and all we did was store them in Tupperware, at room temp. Another awesome thing, the everything bagels were seasoned on BOTH SIDES! Never seen this before, but it's actually pretty great, because let's be honest, who likes the plain bottom of an everything bagel!? Everyone needs to get to Goodies and support this new local business! We've finally got a decent bagel shop in town, so go show them some love, and get some fantastic bagels!
google avatar

Sam J.

Yelp
Prices and kettle boiled bagels are delicious! Bagel Don Dada all day! (But I'm biased )
google avatar

Gabriel K.

Yelp
At last, real bagels in Catskill! These guys just opened up and their bagels are on point. Proper rise, boil, and shape. The pumpernickel sesame is a real standout.

Emmanuel A.

Yelp
Fantastic local spot with authentic bagels and delicious combos, including a excellent portobello mushroom option!
