Resorts World ditches in-room dining for ordering from its restaurants via Grubhub | Eater Vegas

"A hawker stall specializing in char kuey teow — wok-fried rice and egg noodles tossed with seafood — positioned as one of the ethnic street-food options available for in-resort ordering and delivery." - Susan Stapleton

Googgle Man's Char Kuey Teow

Google
This place only opens on the weekend. I came here many times on a Monday or Tuesday and it was closed. The char koay teow is legit. Taste very authentic. The noodle has the smoky "wok hey". Look at how the chef controls the wolf and fire. He sure knows how to do it the right way. They added big shrimps and some Chinese sausages to the noodles - exactly how they do it in Malaysia. Price is high at $18 + tax. I find the dining area a bit dark thus the photo of the CKT didn't turn out great. Plenty of seatings. All self service. Self order on the kiosk and pick up at the counter.

Google
If you familiar with south east Asian food than you know Kuey Teow . Char Kuey Teow aka fried fat flat noodles is one of the dishes famous in Malaysia and Singapore. Google man is Malaysian type. It has all the traditional taste like crunchy, tender and surprisingly not too sweet. The price is good and the serving is ok

Google
Great Malaysian food that is always made fresh and tasty. The Randang beef or chicken are amazing as well as the Nasi Lamak, both of these dishes are delicious and hit that spicy itch u want to scratch.

Food taste better when parking is free!! Excellent ckt! Checked most criteria that makes a great ckt! Wok Hei! Large shrimp! Crispy pork bits ….so expensive u can’t waste!

Overall: 3.5/5 We got the hokkien noodles ($15) which were full of umami and bursting flavors. I love the thick Shanghai noodles. Everything in the bowl was properly marinated. It came with an additional sauce that had the stinky shrimp paste taste/smell so I did not use that but my husband did.

Google
So good, we actually went back for seconds!! Located in Famous Food Street Eats, this food stall is tucked in the corner and it certainly deserves a spotlight. $16 -- Hokkien Noodles. The portion is very filling for one person or perfect as a sample for two people. Again, these pieces of shrimp are HUGE and the whole dish is very flavorful. Arguably one of the best dishes I've had in FF so far. I rarely say this about noodles but it is really worth visiting. I definitely can’t wait to come back a third time. (9/100—2022)

We decided to have an early lunch around 11am before driving for a road trip and the food stalls were just opened at 11am. I ordered Char Kuey Teow from the tablet and got my food in about 15 mins. Once I got the food, I noticed that the portion was pretty small for the price. From the first bite, I was a bit surprised because it was pretty spicy. The char kuey teow that I had many time before was not spicy. The noodle itself was pretty good and flavorful. I could taste the smokiness from the wok and the sauce was a mixed of salty & a hint of sweetness. However, the protein was cut up in tiny pieces and I wish they gave more egg. So far, this was a better meal compared to other vendors in the food court.

By far one of the best Char Kway Teows I have had here in the US! The crispy pork lard and the cockles make a difference!

Yelp
This is a food stall located inside Resorts World on the very end. I enjoy that you can see them freshly cook the noodles to order and the fire of the wok. Flavor was solid, the dish had strong wok hei and the noodles were fresh. If you enjoy spice definitely ask for the chili sauce on the side, it is hot!
google avatar

Yelp
I received food poisoning from this location. I wouldn't normally complain, but having to use five different restrooms driving back from Vegas is not something I would wish on anyone. Anyways, Hilton kind of sucks about these things. They just try to defend themselves from accusations, which I get.
google avatar

Ken C.

Yelp
The Google man that serves Char Kway Teow is one of the anchors of this food hall and I enjoy this dish here. You get some smokey flavor, they have some showmanship with their "wok hei", and it's a good time. Make sure you ask for their hot sauce because, if you tolerate spice, it adds a lot of heat

Yelp
Being that it was my first time checking out the food court at Resorts World, just about every counter we passed by looked so enticing. Ramen, dumplings, pho, fish & chips, burgers...quite genuinely, there was no shortage of things I wanted to try. However, as soon as I saw Googgle Man's, pinched into a corner towards one of the ends, I immediately knew I was coming here. For one, in the spirit of how Famous Foods is fashioned after the hawker centers and night markets in Singapore and Southeast Asia, it felt appropriate to hit up the Malaysian food vendor. Secondly, but even more importantly, the food just looked too good to resist! Now, if you're prone to suffer from bouts of decision paralysis, Googgle Man's is the place for you. With just two options on their menu - their namesake Char Kuey Teow and Hokkien Noodles - it shouldn't take long to figure out if you want one, the other, or neither (or both, if you're ambitious). That being said, even if they had 10 times the number of dishes to choose from, I was dead set on getting their CHAR KUEY TEOW. The fact that it's their namesake dish was already a pretty compelling reason, but really, it was mainly because it just looked so good in the photos on Yelp! Even before our order was ready, I was already salivating just watching it get cooked in the giant wok as flames flared out from the burner underneath. As soon as it came out, I was almost immediately ready to dive in. Somewhat surprisingly, this dish was actually loaded with a good amount of shrimp, crispy bits of pork/pork fat, and Chinese sausage. So much so, in fact, that I actually wish there had been less of the crispy bits and more of the noodles for a better balance. In terms of taste, though, this was great! The dish was well seasoned, not super oily, the shrimp were cooked well, and the noodles had a really nice bite to them. Plus, the overall portion size was pretty fair for the money, especially for The Strip. Given how I still have literally everything else in the Famous Foods food court to try, I'll likely opt to check out something new instead of coming back the next time I'm here, but it's not reflective of how I feel about Googgle Man's. Sure, I'm basing it purely on the only dish I've tried here, but I'd like to think that's it's actually based on half of the menu that I've managed to try in just one visit! FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down.

Yelp
It used to be so good when the Uncle Andy was cooking it. He made it really yummy and authentic. We come to Resorts World especially for the Char Kuey Teow. We have been coming since the beginning. Today we came back and Uncle Andy is already not here at the food court. In his replacement, we saw 2 female cooks who did the 1st attempt so badly that it is inedible. The noodles disintegrated and the whole plate was soggy. We sent it back and she redid it and 2nd attempt was not better. The noodles should never be wet and soggy. Until they learn the real technique to cook the CKT correctly, we won't be back. This unique dish needs wok flavor and today's dish just taste like a bad dream. Please do something about this and hire the correct chef who respects the dish. Thank you. This is the most famous dish in Penang and we cannot have cooks here who doesn't understand the dish. Please do better in training the cooks.

K K.

Yelp
Really authentic "CKT" - if you know you know! The wok hei was much appreciated and the flavors are authentic. I would ask for a bit more spice the next time I order from here.

Yelp
This place is not open on the times they've advertised. No sign explaining their opening time and no service. This is very disappointing. Tried to go for 3 days for lunch and dinner time and they're closed. The cleaning lady in the food court told us that this place just open whenever it feels like it. No honor or care about customer experience.

Yelp
I love noodles! If ya know me, then it's obvious. If you're goin to ask me about what to get to eat. I will say noodles of tacos lol. Anyway! I popped into the food court here at Resorts world in search of something for lunch. I went over to the universal order kiosk and was able to pan through all the spots at the food court. Noodles was on my mind so I placed an order for the Hokkien noodles. I never got a text but went over to the stall and the estimated wait time came and past by 2 mins. I went up and the lady was able to assist. She apologized as their ordering system wasn't working. Butttttt I got my noodles. She offered a spicy chili sauce as a condiment and I definitively accepted. Perfect amount of noodles and I loved the chewy texture and the sweet stir fry sauce made it bomb! So good! I was so happy this was my first meal of the day. The chili sauce is a game changer. It's packed with flavor and I just knew that I had to come back here before leaving back to the city. And here I am, having spent close to 50 bucks on noodles from this place ! Yes I came back 2 More times during this Vegas trip. I am hooked. I did divert and ordered the other stir fried noodle option chaw guy thiew ( this was more dry and it reminded me of the Cambodian stir fry noodles). The very last time I had it, I ordered and brought it back to the room. ( hokkien noodles) I was in heaven! Eating noodles in pajamas with ghost busters playing on tv. Hahha. It really was a joy to relax and indulge on my last night in sin city. I literally smuggled a small chili sauce in my luggage. Lol I am still in search of malaysian chili oil sauce online with no success on how to get my hands on it. This place got me. You'll have to try it for yourself!

Yelp
Get the char kway teow! So much wok flavor it's pretty top tier noodle dish. Lots of things to eat at the food hall but this is a must get!

Yelp
Tucked away in a corner, between a couple other restaurants in the food court, Googgle Man's Char Kuey Teow has some tasty noodles. The portion size is okay and the ingredients were good. They do provide some hot paste to add to the flavor - without it the flavor was flat. The downside is the $16.75 for the bowl.- seemed really high for what you get. Considering it's in Resorts World, the prices can be expected- but anywhere else, I'd expect twice the amount of food.

Yelp
20/10 food and flavor, will be coming back here just for this dish! They only serve 2 dishes and this is the one to get!

Yelp
The Char Kway Teow is indeed exceptional. You must check if they are open. It was so good we decided to go back for seconds on another day and they were closed. Taste, ingredients and flavor was a 10/10!

Yelp
I walked by the stand and the aroma from the food smelled really good so I decided to order the Hokkien Noodles. Out of all the dishes I ordered at Famous Foods at Resorts World, this was by far the saltiest. The dish had noodles, pork, shrimp, and yu choy that were all marinated with a salty oyster sauce. If the dish were less salty, it probably could have been a lot better.

Yelp
Malaysian noodle outpost in Resortsworld. You order from one of the screens (credit cards only) and then receive a text when your order is ready. You can order it for dine-in or takeout (they provide a bag with utensils). There's a lot of indoor seating and have tables for large groups. You have a lot of Asian food options, so you can order from a lot of different stands on the same ticket and share. The Hokkien noodle was on the saltier side, but I still enjoyed it. The noodle texture was nice and chewy. They gave three pieces of shrimp. They also provide a rather spicy chili sauce that you can opt to mix in. I finished my food in one sitting, but I was also hungry. For a meal in Vegas a little under $20, this was a good option.
google avatar

Yelp
A respectable enough execution. Vibrant flavors and a good amount of shrimp and Chinese sausage, too bad the noodles were overcooked.

Yelp
During our Vegas stay, we planned a travel itinerary, meal arrangement and saved our appetite so we could try this place out. To much disappointment, they're not open or bothered to update their business hours on Yelp. We were there Wed 9/4/2024 at 12:30pm.

Yelp
First off, love the ordering system for the Famous Foods Street Eats hall in Resorts World. They have kiosks throughout the dining area where you can order what you want from multiple different spots and they'll text you once your order is ready. Got the Hokkien Noodles and it was sooo flavorful! It had big pieces of succulent shrimp, pork belly, and Chinese broccoli smothered in a sweet and savory oyster sauce gravy. The staff was fast, friendly, and kind. And if you like spice and can handle it I recommend getting the hot chili oil to throw in to mix with the noodles. Mouthwatering. My friend and I shared this on a Saturday, the next day Sunday we went down to try other spots, but half the hall was closed. I think this happens on non busy days so Sun-Thurs perhaps? That was kind of a bummer.. RW is still one of the fairly newer resorts and more north of the strip away from the busy high traffic center so they probably don't get enough business to stay open the full week I assume. So that's unfortunate. I would definitely go back though!
google avatar

Cheryl W.

Yelp
I finally tried the noodles again. The portion size and the size of the shrimp are good. The flavor was good. Not too salty like last time. They let the ingredients shine here.
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
The food is fantastic at this takeout restaurant but resorts world system for ordering, especially if you're using comps is simply horrible. Horrible. It's so complicated and even worse if you're using poker comps that it's almost impossible to use. But the food is great!

Yelp
Google Man's is located in the international food court for Resorts World in the back corner. They work off of a cashless system where you place your order through the kiosk and they called out your number once it's ready. They only have about 2-3 options, but they definitely crush it with their signature dish. It's a large portion of a drunken noodle type flat noodle. I liked the large chunks of shrimp & crispy calm. It's also super cool to be able to watch them cook it up right in front of you in the large woks. The price is a bit high, but it's the strip so that's as expected. I think it was in line with the portion size & enough for two people to share. Pro tip: ask for a cup of ice water from the bar & save the money from buying bottled water.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good and authentic taste of Char Kwe Tiauw The noodles are tasty and well cooked, combined with the topping of shrimp and pork. Quick service with the display ordering screen. Lots of place to sit in the food court area.

Yelp
A must try at Resorts world! We got the Char Kuey Teow and Hokkien noodles. Food came out quickly after ordering on the machine! :)
google avatar

Mel M.

Yelp
I got the Char Kuey Teow. It's rice noodle, egg, manila clam, chinese sausage and shrimp. This is the weird part. Everything by itself was good. Like I liked the chinese sausage. The shrimp was cooked good and I like the manila clam and egg. But over all and eaten together in one bite something was missing. It wasn't the portion. The portion I'd say is good for two people. The noodles were cooked well but still something was missing. There's not enough flavor. Unless this is how the dish is suppose to be. Is it suppose to be bland? I'd take a bite and not enjoy it. I'd find myself chewing slower and thinking way too hard trying to figure out what is off. A little too bland for me. It's also topped with some fried pork but they taste more like a squirt of oil when I'd bite into it. Mel M Yelp 21:32

Yelp
Googgle Man's is a Malaysian/Singaporean noodle restaurant reminiscent of the stands in Hawker Centers in Singapore. Just like those stands, this restaurant specializes in only a couple of dishes - in this case Kuey Teow and Hokkien Noodles. Both are made fresh before your eyes when you order, and both are fairly large portions with lots of protein. Each tasted a lot like the versions I had in SE Asia, so they are pretty authentic. I like the Hokkien noodles a bit better: the Kuey Teow is extremely salty and the sausage adds an odd flavor (again, this is pretty authentic, but it's also an acquired taste). You can order from a screen anywhere in the food court and they will text you when your order is ready. Prices are probably the biggest negative: a portion that costs $3-4 in Singapore and $8-10 most other places in the US is $15-16 here. So, while it's good, it's also expensive.
google avatar

Lori N.

Yelp
After my travels in Malaysia, I fell in love with Malaysian and Southeast Asian cuisine.  So, coming to the brand new Resorts World in Las Vegas, and Googgle Man's specifically, was a no-brainer. Just don't expect the same prices as you'd find in Malaysia.  You're at a spanking brand new Las Vegas casino resort, not at a hawker stall in Malaysia.  So, let's have realistic expectations. Googgle Man's originates from a popular hawker stall in Penang known for Char Kuey Teow. Apparently, the name comes from the chef who supposedly wears goggles while stir frying.  I haven't seen anything outside of the hawker stalls in Southeast Asia that come remotely close to the heat and soaring flames they've got flaring up places like Malaysia or Singapore. It's truly amazing that any of the cooks have any body hair or eyebrows still intact. They've definitely got some flame action going on here, but not quite the same. Every time I've stopped by, they were sold out of the Char Kuey Teow, so I ended up getting the Hokkien Noodles by default. But all's well that ends well.  I was pretty happy with the Hokkien noodles.  The texture of the noodles were good, and I liked the tiny bits of crispy pork. Nicely flavored without being overly salty. Okay, this wasn't EXACTLY as you'd find in Malaysia, but it's a decent rendition with the the "wok hay" (a Cantonese term coined to describe the aroma that comes from wok stir-frying at extremely high BTU's).  It's something that's virtually impossible to duplicate at home. I'd get this dish again.

Yelp
After enjoying these noods, my reaction was more of a "yahoo!" Googgle Man's Char Kuey Teow is a Malaysian fried noodle concept that shares the Famous Foods Street Eats concept with various other businesses in the newly opened Resorts World Las Vegas. It's one of the more true-to-hawker-stall concepts here because it only offers two menu items, one being the namesake and the other being what I actually tried. Hokkien Noodles ($15): soy marinated pork, shrimp, yu choy, oyster sauce, crispy pork, Shanghai noodle. Huge punch of flavor in every bite, properly cooked jumbo shrimp, tender pork, and slick noodles. Frankly, a bit too greasy and a bit one-note in its sweetness, but I could slurp down so many of the noodles regardless. Far from the most overpriced option here, Googgle Man's Char Kuey Teow is definitely worth a visit if you're planning to sample multiple foods from the rest of the food court. Based on my experience, I would be willing to try the other noodle dish the next time I'm here.

Yelp
Came here the day after soft opening. Googgle only has two options from you to choose from: Char Kuey Teow $15 - rice noodle, Chinese sausage, manila clam, prawns, crispy pork, egg, and bean sprouts Hokkien Noodles $14 - soy marinated pork, shrimp, yu choy, oyster sauce, crispy pork, Shanghai noodle We went around 530PM and they were already out of the Hokkien Noodles or perhaps they didn't have it to begin with. Therefore, we got the Char Kuey Teow instead. I think they were severely backed up that day so it took a while for us to get our food. When we did get it, it seemed very lacking and skimpy. The noodles were very broken up -- it was in pieces. There were maybe 2-3 pieces of shrimp. There was two pieces of Chinese sausage. There was no crispy pork and no manila clams. The flavor was a little lacking as well ... it had a kick to it but that is about it. The quality, however, was really nice. Overall, I don't think it was worth it and they were clearly not ready for opening since they were missing ingredients in the dish. I wish they would have informed us that they didn't have certain ingredients. I wouldn't recommend ordering from them as there are better options in the food hall.
google avatar

Kiko D.

Yelp
I ordered the Hokkien Noodles. The price is very reasonable at $16.75. Lots of ingredients. Very tasty. Nothing is pre-cooked. It's hot when served.

Kasandra K.

Yelp
So I have to be honest the first time that I saw this restaurant in the food court at resort World I was at Hans fish and chips, and Hans is good very very good. I promised myself the next time that I go to resort world that I would check out Googlemans Asian cuisine and let me tell you I did this time and the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered both of their main noodle dishes and the flavor was perfect. Everything was good. I wouldn't change anything. I'm definitely going back. I needed to put a good review. I'm a big critic when it comes to food and this was good. I like to keep it healthy but I like tasty and this met all of our desires for excellent Asian food thank you resort world.

Yelp
The char Kuey Teow was really good! Service was friendly as well- the restaurants in the food court that googgle man is located at serves food super fast- and its a convenient location next to casinos! The area is beautiful and feels like singapore :D only nitpick would be that the food is fairly expensive for the serving sizes you get- but that's probably because of the nice location!
google avatar

Nitin S.

Yelp
Never open! Went here Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening when visiting Vegas and it was closed each time. What's the point of having these restaurants when they are closed most of the time?
google avatar

Neha R.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in the food court at Conrad hotel. much like all the restaurants here, there is a limited menu. However you won't complain about it once you taste these delicious noodles. The noodles have that "wok" taste in them which comes from too many noodles being made in the wok which adds to the flavor. I would definitely recommend this place if you are ever at the Conrad. Another thing I would mention is that they aren't too expensive for Vegas. Most of the foods are about 15 bucks which isn't cheap but isn't expensive either.
google avatar

GG M.

Yelp
This dish really hits the spot. Tastes kinda like pad-see-ew, my favorite Thai dish. They only have 2 options, I usually order the one with the shrimp and delicious mini-cubed pork fried belly pieces. Have it at least each time I visit resorts world when Im hungry. The sausage inside is pretty gross; I just pick those aside. But the rest is really good and freshly wok'd. Love a flat rice noodle dish, and this is always good. Char Kuey Tow, thats what I order. Its a decent portion, very filling.
google avatar

Carlson Z.

Yelp
Came here after our stint at AYU Dayclub so we were fairly sloshed. I got the Hokkien noodles, which looked like good hangover food but it was wayyy too salty, even in my drunken state. The sauce to noodle ratio was also too high, making the dish hard to eat with chopsticks. The idea of Famous Foods Street Eats in Resorts World is brilliant but I find the execution of some of their stalls to be inconsistent.
google avatar

Wang Y.

Yelp
Alright so I have only been to Singapore a few times. I was young when I went so I can't comment on the authenticity of the noodles here. However, when the older Asian man with the glasses makes the noodles? They are fantastic. Flavors all balance together and the dish is seasoned right. Proteins, and vegetables all perfect. I consider him the head chef here. Not to shade the other chefs but that man does it right every time I am here. And I try go to every Luke Bryan concert. For me this place deserves 5 stars. Is it the same as Char Kway Teow at one of the top hawker center? Maybe not. But as a constant passerby at Resorts world nothing compliments my Tiger Sugar Mango drink better than these noodles. Also why two pictures? Because I'm watching the Dolphins vs Bengals and I got two orders!
google avatar

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -Googgle Man's Char Kuey Teow (stir fried rice noodle) stand is my favorite stall at Resort's World in Vegas! -It comes fresh & hot off the wok. -For around $15 you get your money's worth. -We are lucky to have all of these amazing world-class food stalls all in one place. Overall, Googgle Man's is the BEST stall IMHO.
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
This is a fast food place that serves two noodle dishes - I tried them both and they were both fire but the Char Kuey Teow was my personal favorite - those crispy pork bits with the sweet Chinese sausage is sooo delicious! The service is neutral because you order through a kiosk and pick up your food using a number. They were nice enough though! It's kind of like mall seating because it's inside of a food court in Resorts World but it's good for people watching if you're into that.
google avatar

Vinkin Ken T.

Yelp
There's only 2 dishes on the menu so it makes deciding easy. You have the choice of either a wide rice noodle dish or an egg noodle dish. Ordering was simple from the tablet and it was ready in under 10 minutes. You will get a text message when it's ready so you can wander off a bit. I ordered the rice noodle dish. I was not expecting it to be spicy. It's tasty, a bit salty but I enjoyed the wok fiery taste in the noodles. Prawns were big too. Portion was a bit small as with other dishes in this food court.
google avatar

Denise L.

Yelp
Ordered the char kuey teow, and it was pretty tasty. However the shrimp quality was not good, very rubbery and there were these little squares of fried fat that was not good at all.

MUST TRY!! Oh my!!! The ratings on Yelp should be a 4 star. I ordered the Char Kuey Teow and was delicious. I watch the cook make my noodle stir fry, and it's definitely an art. I'm really impressed with the amount of shrimp and Chinese sausage, and the noodles are so good. Perfect texture and flavored just right. If I would have found this place sooner I would have this meal multiple times during my trip. So glad yelp and my gut told me to try it.

Yelp
This is the first food stall that we decided to try out. There were only two options to choose from on their menu and the price is a bit high. Char Kuey Teow and Hokkien Noodles. We chose to get the char kuey teow. This dish had rice noodles, manila clams, Chinese sausage, prawns, bean sprouts, egg, and crispy pork. I wasn't expecting the dish to be spicy. I didn't like that the menu didn't indicate that this dish would be spicy. This was good enough for 1 or 2 to share. Drinks are $5. They were not able to give us a cup of water since they only have beer taps. We were told to go the bar. Overall, service was friendly and quick and the food tasted eh ok despite being spicy.

Yelp
Malaysian noodle stand inside Resorts World. Ordered the Char Kuey Teow. Very average/okay. Small portion and very little protein in there for $16 even though it's supposed to have Chinese sausage, clams, prawns, and pork. The spice level is good which is to say it's just a little spicy. I recommend passing on this one as there are better options in the food hall.

Yelp
I was was not expecting this place to be good. Boy, I was wrong. I ordered the Char Kway Teo $16. Food came in a foam takeout box. When I opened the box, I was super disappointed Because they charge you $16 for such a small amount of food. I was expecting a little bit more than this. i read a review on here that said it's big enough to share. If you're a 10 year old!!! But once I took a bite, I wasn't too mad about the price. The food was no where near bland. It was full of flavor and I didn't need to add any soy sauce or other condiment to jazz it up. However, the food was on the spicy side, but not too spicy for me. It's basically stir fry chow fun kicked up a notch. Definitely would order this again the next time I'm here.

Yelp
We tried the Char Kuey Teow and really liked it. It was made to order so it was super hot and fresh. I always like it when you can see the cook making your food. The portion was very generous especially when compared to all the other food stalls. The noodles had a great texture and there were tons of shrimp, clams and sausage. Just remember that they only take card.

Yelp
Out of all the vendors at the Famous Food Street at Resorts World, the Hokkien noodles from Google Man is my favorite! It is just so delicious I don't get tired coming back for it. They also have the flat noodles and it is also really good!

Yelp
I always order the Hokkien noodles whenever I come here. The noodles are soft and chewy, packed with flavors and the crunchy pork skins that's added on top of the dish is a bonus. Tried the char kuey teow and it was ok.
