The burgers were recommended and did not disappoint! Nice list of beers and ciders on tap. Relaxed atmosphere. Smallness of the space made it fun for watching college football.

Nice place to eat dinner and the steak salad was great. Wonderful atmosphere and service plus it's very clean. Our waitress was awesome! Nice place to stop in and get a bite of food if you're traveling through Holland MI.

Absolutely the best burger and service ever. Seriously. We had the Bourbonator. We had come from a funeral and weren't super hungry so we asked her to have them cut it in half. They brought it out split on 2 trays. That's fantastic service!

Great little burger place that is connected to a market. It is a little pricey but the food was very tasty and also excellent service. The restaurant isn't huge but there was plenty of parking and no wait when I went on a Saturday afternoon.

20250709 A small restaurant/pub with a market next door that carries unique food and drink items. The Mexican Corn Salad was delicious. I didn't even need the salad dressing because of the Mexican Corn has a creamy dressing. Unfortunately, my pups didn't like the chicken. The young lady who is thr step daughter of the owner was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend shopping in the market!

While visiting Holland we found Goog’s online and decided to try it. We were both a little disappointed in the food. We ordered the cod & chicken tender baskets which tasted and appeared to be the frozen variety !?!?🫤 It was probably our bad that we didn’t order what appeared to be their specialty….Burgers

They’re back and better than before. The newer location is built in the same place as the original, but is a more modern style building with plenty of parking. The service was fantastic & it was great to be welcomed back to Holland with smiling faces & great conversation. The food was even better with a plethora of great burger options & something for everyone. You bet I ordered the Grammy’s Olive Burger, something I covet on trips to Michigan & it did not disappoint!

Ordered takeout from Goog's based on recommendations from our hotel. It's a cool combination of tavern, meat, cheese, and beverage shop. Great combo! We were impressed with their extensive burger options and landed on the Wagyoog wagyu burger with bacon jam, seasonings, and smoked gouda. Also ordered a seafood basket and a Cobb salad. While waiting, we perused the shop and our hunger caused us to buy smoked whitefish dip and some toasted bread snacks for dipping. We picked up our order and went out to the park to eat and watch the sunset. Overall, the food was solid. We ordered the burger medium and it came out well done, that might have happened with the short time that elapsed but it really hampered the burger for me. It was a little dry and hard to discern the quality of the beef, and also the other flavors were not very distinctive for me. The seafood was also decent, maybe if we had eaten in, it would be better. The shrimps, scallops, and clams were 3.5/5, so I'm rounding up to a 4. The salad was fine, nice portions of chicken, bacon, and fresh greens. The quantity of the food was also great, so a proportional value after spending $60+ on 3 items. I would give this place a second visit and try to eat in next time.

When you're driving to Goog's I think you're under the impression you don't know what you're gonna get. It's a little restaurant attached to a liquor store. But man do they know how to do food. The Texas grilled cheese has burnt ends inside and it is delicious! The tenders came with a lot of chicken and also were great! Our server was quick and attentive. It's decorated in sport memorabilia and only has about 8-9 tables. Highly recommend!! I also hear they have amazing key lime pie.

Stopped in tonight because WHY NOT?! The best day for burgers is the one that ends with D-A-Y. Got my go to: Verser burger plus grilled mushrooms and a fried egg. (If you're not putting a fried egg on your burger, what are you even doing?!) Swapped the fries for o-rings, but you'll love either. Every bite packed all the stuff. I got the juicy, drippy burger, the crunch of the lettuce and tomato, the savory ham, the hearty mushrooms, and did I mention the fried egg? Take a break from the Tulip Time carnie food, and go get Holland's best burger. Go. Do it. Right now!

Packed at lunch so I sat at the bar. Initial service was good but follow up was spotty. The real problem was the food. It took nearly 25 minutes for my burger and fries to arrive and then was virtually tasteless which seems almost impossible given all of the toppings but it was. Portion was huge, fries were good but the burger was meh at best.

As ALWAYS, the burgers were amazing. We had takeout tonight and it didn't disappoint. I had the MGB burger and anytime Boursin is on something, it just adds that extra oomph! My husband had the Bourbonator - most excellent. I had the fries and Duce upgraded to the onion rings. Fantastic!

Best olive burger in Holland hands down! Servers are great and pretty good options for beers on tap.

To be honest, we've only gotten food to go from here. But let me tell you, the burgers are fantastic! Juicy and always made as requested. The fries are the best we've had for a take out. They hold up to reheating too! Bit pricey but never disappoints.

$16 for a hamburger is kind of crazy to be honest. To charge that much takes away from the taste. It's good but $8 good. Not $16.

I thought this place was great! Hamburger was awesome! Mac n cheese burger, my coworker said his was great as well. The service was outstanding and we were there around 12:30 on a Thursday so the crowd wasn't bad. We got right in. The place is small but food was on point! The dill pickle with the burger was delicious! Fries are good.... Enough said! Love the little store next door as well! Wine, bourbon ware, meats, seasonings galore and sauces! Wish I lived near by but 5* given!!

In my last review I mentioned the fabulous chicken noodle soup was no longer on the menu but would be available occasionally as a special. "Occasionally" just came so after driving 38 miles, we were comfortably seated anxiously waiting to see if the soup was as good as I remembered from the "old Goog's". The soup was out of this world fantastic and was every bit as good as I remember. I've had chicken noodle soup at deili's in New York and Chicago that aren't as good. Also, the burgers were once again perfectly cooked (rare and medium rare) Consistency and excellence don't come by accident. My hat's off to management for making it happen every time.

One of the best burgers in town! We ordered carry out the first time, but most recently came inside to sit in and eat. It's a small spot so you might have to come at an off peak hour time to eat if you want to get a table right away. We didn't have to wait too long though about 10-15 minutes. I got the Phoenix with tomato and avocado, which was excellent. It was a cooked perfectly and seasoned well and was juicy but not greasy. It had the little kick that I wanted and wasn't over powering. The toppings and veggies tasted fresh. I also got the sweet potato waffle fries which I appreciate them having as an option. Our server was extremely nice and apologized for the food coming out slow or longer, but we expected it given how busy it was. We will definitely be back and want to try so many other items.

The burgers are great as is the service. In my opinion they have the best burgers in the Holland area

I stopped in here with a friend for dinner recently, and was really happy to have stumbled upon this place. There was about a 20 minute wait so we went and walked through the store which had all kinds of super interesting things in it. Think Little Debbie flavored ice cream for example. when our table was ready, we grabbed a seat and started looking over the menu. I asked for some help when it came to understanding some of the burgers and what was the most popular and what was the staffs, most favorite, etc. Ended up going with a classic burger that had been tossed in Worcestershire sauce and onion rings. Both were absolutely delicious, and I will certainly be stopping back here again sometime in the very near future.

Arrive with my two buddies and the parental couple of another buddy we have. Lots of people recommended this and so the first time we came here it was really crowded and so we came here another time when it was a weird hour and then it was less crowded. That is a good trick we did. We were able to pull off that trick because we were playing croquet before. I have never played croquet before this but it is quite fun. Tom taught us how to play and he ended up winning the last game. Coincidence? I will let you decide later. I got the bourbon burger and although it was alcohol free, it was tasty and I just had my leftovers for a between breakfast and lunch snack. Still really good. Coincidence? I think it probably isn't but there is a chance it could be

Goog's crafts the Best hamburgers in Holland by a mile and they are consistent! Always great service too!

Great burger and fries. It is a little small inside and at the end of small shopping strip, but definitely worth it.

Great food and a cozy environment, what more could you ask for? I must also admit, the packs of sports cards for the kids are a great touch. How have I missed this spot for the last 22 years?

This place rocks a burger for sure. Me and my wife both ordered the Bourbonator burger with fries and they were up there with the best burgers we have ever had, and the fries were great also. Neither of us could finish ours but we certainly tried. And what's a burger without beer and Goog's has some of the best on draft, Yum. Thank you Goog's Pub & Grub for our great dinner!

A few of my pals and I went to Goog's randomly and the burgers were PERFECT! It took awhile to get a table but they were very busy and it was well worth it. The restaurant is attached to a little grocery store so we got to look at some cool niche products while we waited. Service was incredibly kind as well, I would highly recommend

Great food in abundance. My wife got the spicy chicken, but she had to ask for more sauce to make it really good. I got the beast burger and it was fantastic. Their home made chips are good as well as their fries. We started with the fried cheese and it was also good. Frankly everything is great here. If I've ever this way again I'm hitting them up.

If you come here for the burgers you will not be disappointed. You'll find a type of burger for almost any taste. And the beast mode "upgrade" just exceptional. Many places have a hard time cooking burgers to requested temperature. Not here. You want rare, you'll get a perfect rare. Medium rare? Yep. Service has always been good. This is my goto spot when I need a burger fix.

Weird location and very small dining area. Very little area to wait inside if weather is cold/bad. Bar served delicious drinks, food was good (nothing worth bragging about). Service was friendly. Would we come back?? If someone asked us to join them..sure. On our own probably not.

The burger was ok. Just ok. The bun is a typical store bought spongy bread like thing. The beef was fine, but bland. The fries and onion rings were fine. The ranch was gross (clearly not made in house). The restaurant is fairly uncomfortable. It's not cozy or anything. The service was ok. I did not find any reason to go back to this restaurant. There are many other restaurants with much better food.

The interior is nice it's pleasing and the salad is a 9.5 and I don't like salad it's a really cool shop right next-door and if u like quiet places this is a mid for being quiet and the steak of the bests steak I've ever had it's. A 10 and the Waiter was awesome and overall really good 5

Needed a place I could walk to from my seedy hotel, and Goog's was it! Good food, good service, delightfully surly bartender, and nice neighborhood vibe. So good that I went back the next night.

I adore Googs, and have since before the new store opened. They execute their burgers brilliantly and I always love trying what they have new. I've been delighted that they've returned as I missed them dearly while the new place was being constructed. There is only one thing that is worse about Googs now versus 3 years ago before it closed and that's the size. The new space is much smaller with fewer tables meaning higher wait times during peak dining. Not going to lie this is pretty frustrating and prevents me from wanting to lunch here or being larger groups. But hey, if the worst part about a place is that they are so good they don't have enough space for all their rabid fans then you could certainly be worse off. I will still dine here, but only when I know I have time to wait.

The recommended Bourbonator was no joke-- brown sugar bourbon rub, bourbon bbq onions, mushrooms, and bacon topped with cheddar jack cheese, and finished with b&b pickles and lettuce. Right?! The layers of flavor was out of this world to say the least. It is truly one of those meals you will drool over until you experience again. The fries were fries. I would've liked the option to sub them out, especially after sampling them. Just plain fries. Seating is limited, so arrive at opening or be prepared to wait. The wait is worth it.

Greatest tasty expensive burgers. Their French Fries are made from frozen and have a lot to be desired Their Onion Rings are OK if their not overcooked. I'd pass on their fish, just not good. You cannot get just a burger without the meter Fries or another side with an upcharge.

Service excellent. Food I had an Olive Burger and it excellent. My wife a steak salad very large had leftovers. Felt one of the best she has had. Steak salad is a main go to for her and she said she would order this again when we meet friends in Holland for lunch. Need to plan on wait at lunch very popular.

GREAT burgers! I see why they had a 5 star rating. They said they just reopened 5 weeks ago after being covid shut down. the old place was 2-3 times bigger. only seated about 40 w the bar but no problem. That way they're always busy & doing well. I had the bourbonator, wife had the Crown & Anchor burger. both came w fries and pickle spear. The burgers were perfect, the toppings were phenomenal! We're very picky these days paying today's prices and they sure delivered! Our server was awesome! I asked for her recommendations and they were spot on. She was fun & checked on us just enough but not buggy. *****!

Best burgers I've ever had! Good beer menu and service too! The Bourbonator burger is the bomb! First time eating here, and we will be back soon since we live in Holland.

I placed an online order and asked for WELL DONE and it's pink‍ and don't get me wrong o have Googs plenty and they are awesome! So l thought because they messed up my order they would offer something but nope! No dinner for me tonight

Absolutely one of the best burgers I have had! The restaurant is small and cozy, with a super friendly waitstaff. It's definitely the best kept secret in Holland. We will be back again when we visit Holland again!

Big Goog's fan. Didn't live in the area when the original one existed, but I've only had good experiences from the new place, whether eating in or not. Their burgers are great. Maybe the best in town. If you like variety in your burgers, they have that. If you don't want a burger, they have sandwiches, wraps, salads. All of it. If you don't want a burger, I'd still suggest the Nashville Hot. As of writing, my favorite burger is The Bourbonator, but that could change after my next visit. Come here for a cold beer and a good burger, any night of the week.

Best burger in town. My husband recently had the Cubano that he has since re-ordered. I do like to ask for my burger, medium rare because I find that if I don't they typically cook it medium well. The new place is small, but clean and friendly, and Brad. the owner is a nice guy. Glad he reopened at this new location!

Driving through and stopped in. Love the atmosphere. Great food and drinks. We had the the pastrami, the phoenix burger, and big wick's burger of the month. All were great of the burger of the month was so delicious. The staff was friendly l. No complaints.

Their burgers are incredible! We have eaten here a couple of times in the past few weeks. Everyone in both groups each had a different meal, and everyone was very happy with both the food and the service. Nice casual atmosphere.

Goog's is small and local - my kind of place! I had the chicken salad and it was amazing! It tasted fresh, the veggies were snappy, it is definitely something I'll go back for time and time again!

Seen the great rating so we stopped in it was pretty busy. The hostess was new she said it'd be a wait a couple stood up, I'm not sure if it was the owner or who he was but he ran up cleaned up the table asap for us to be seated. Waitress was amazing, big guy that got us the table was running his ass off, food was amazing best burger I've had in a longtime! Will return next time we're in town

We love their burgers. My favorite is the crop duster which is only a featured special, it's not a regular menu item anymore (so sad!) so when they don't have it, I usually get the Phoenix. Another delicious burger! My husband always loved the Mac N Cheese burger or the Cheesy Tater Tot burger. Also delicious options! Can't say I've ever been disappointed in my burger choice. The new building is much smaller and doesn't quite have the local hometown charm it once had, but the service has improved immensely from before. Definitely recommend!

The food was amazing - the burgers are a must. My son said it was his favorite restaurant in the Midwest. My wife said it was the cleanest bathrooms she's ever seen in a restaurant. They also had a nice selection of tap beer.

The burgers are outstanding! The service is excellent. Been there a dozen times, all great. I like how it's connected to the little boutique grocery next door. The decor is clean and simple, it works.

Excellent Food , Service and atmosphere I would recommend to anyone. More than enough food so you don't go away hungry.
