Came here on a Saturday night without a reservation--luckily we arrived just in time, as a few tables were still open. Shortly after we sat down, a line started forming. Parking was a bit tricky since it's in a small plaza.
We ordered Combo #4 (feeds 4) for our party of five, plus an order of marinated fresh baby octopus. They served banchan on both ends of the table, so there was a ton of food to share. The sides included kimchi, fish cake, bean sprouts, seaweed salad, garlic, and what I think was fermented seafood (not sure of the name). They also had two salads: one with lettuce, cabbage, and onions, and a scallion salad. The dressing reminded me of Gen BBQ's salad--super tasty. Their dipping sauces included salt & oil, ssamjang, and a house sauce.
It was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised that they do all the grilling for you! For such a casual spot, that was a great bonus. They spaced out the steamed eggs (we got 2) and soup (just 1), so the meal felt well-paced.
At the end, they made kimchi fried rice with the leftover meat and veggies, which was so good and really filling. You can even ask for refills of the sides and salads, which is a huge plus.
Service was friendly and consistent--they checked on us every now and then. We did have to ask for water refills, but otherwise, they were attentive.
It's definitely on the pricier side, but the portions are generous and the food is delicious. I'd definitely go again--but with a group, since it's best for sharing and makes the most of the combos. Overall, a great spot for casual Korean BBQ where you can just relax and eat without doing the cooking yourself.
