I ordered the £9.95 lunch deal from Gopal's Corner in Canary Wharf. I chose the prawn roti wrap accompanied by fried okra fries with the mint yoghurt dip. The cold Malaysian pulled tea (teh tarik) was incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere and service were excellent. Highly recommend coming here for delicious Malaysian street food!

We loved Malaysian food on our trips and alongside Roti King, Gopals Corner have brought the authentic flavours to London, this time in Canary Wharf. The Roti tasted just like back in Kuala Lumpur and so did the curry’s. The fried chicken was great but I think the curry’s are my favourite. The Nasi Goreng also had the traditional flavours. And considering their location, there’s very reasonable prices in there. The Teh Tarik might be my favourite tea ever and it doesn’t disappoint in that regard here. Overall, great spot for a lunch or dinner.

Gopals corner by Roti king is situated inside the cargo market hall in canary wharf. I have tried Roti king is one of my favourite places in London. Their chicken roti canai is my go to order whenever i visit. Tried the fried chicken banana leaf meal which was served with 2 vegetable sides of potatoes and cabbage which was okayish. The fried chicken had a strong thai flavour which was nice and flavourful. Their malaysian roti is hands down the best bread i have in London.

Had the lamb roti, fried okra, and ice teh tarik. My mom (Brunei raised) thought it was mild while my (Canadian raised) mouth was on fire 😬 wish the roti was a little flakier but the sauce was very good. The okra was very tasty and the tarik was ten outta ten. I would highly recommend the the tarik it was so good ✨ will say, the music in the market hall is obnoxiously loud so don't come if you want to have conversation with people.

Food was ok though abit salty - enjoyed their Mutton Rolls, Curries was ok, their Roti was on the thicker side and wasn't really a fan od their Dosa...

I really enjoyed all the food at Gopal's. I have visited many times during my stay. The Rotis are to die for and all the food is very flavoursome. I've seen some people mention portion sizes but they are all subjective and seem to fill me up.

Review for Gopal’s Corner, London I had an amazing experience at Gopal’s Corner! The food is simply outstanding—especially the roti canai, which was perfectly flaky and buttery, paired with a rich, flavorful curry. Every bite was packed with authentic Malaysian taste, and the beef rendang was incredibly tender and well-spiced. The service was efficient, and the overall value for money is fantastic. Whether you’re craving a quick, delicious meal or a comforting bowl of laksa, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-tier Malaysian food in London!

I've loved this place for years, the owners (Roti King) do a great job of making the roti canai from Malaysia. I've eaten roti canai in Singapore and Malaysia many times and this is a great representation of the dish. Expect to pay London prices (you can get this in Singapore for about £2, here it's more like £11)
