Love Go Poke! We have been to the International District location a few times. This location was a bit hard to find. No signs outside. You enter what looks like a grocery store, and there is a small food court inside. Go Poke is the 6th restaurant you come across while heading through the food court.
The service is great! I've been there a few times. This time the guy behind the counter remembered my name. They were out of the poke we like, so they made a fresh batch for us! They always go the extra mile.
They offer rice or salad as base. Then you can choose 1, 2 or 3 types of Poke. They have several tuna poke flavors, a few salmon, and octopus. I got rice as the base and spicy aioli salmon and spicy aioli ahi. Both of these have a spicy mayo and the raw fish, plus onions. As a side note, you can also just but poke by the pound.
They have optional toppings which include crab salad, ginger, wasabi, seaweed, cucumber, edamame, avocado (extra cost, not sure how much) and masago. Then they have fried shallots and fried garlic as crunchy toppings and furikake. I like the crab salad, cucumber, ginger, wasabi and seaweed. Avocado is great, but I was cheap and didn't want to pay extra.
They have regular drink offerings and also have Dole Whip(pineapple soft serve)! The Dole Whip doesnt last on a hot day and I was driving so I skipped it. But it is delightful. The only other food option was spam musubi (spam and rice with a sweet sauce wrapped in seaweed).
The service is great! Customer service is always above par. As for the food, the rice was nice, the fish was fresh. Nice spice level, you feel it, but not overwhelming. The toppings provide additional depth and texture. Our favorite poke place! Try it out.
There is some seating, but it's a busy hallway into a grocery store, so not ideal. The restroom in the hallway is for all the restaurants in the food court and was clean and stocked well for a public restroom. The employees were all masked up and following the governor's orders.
