💎 HIDDEN GEM 💎 Amazing charcoaled gorditas filled with nopal, beans and/or cheese! Highly recommend checking this place out. They also have tamales! 🫔 Definitely a healthier option that the street tacos around the corner. (Gorditas are like corn flour pockets. So so good!) Honestly surprised I’m the first one to review this solace...

My wife and I enjoyed the tamales and atoles we ordered here. We tried the gorditas too, but preferred the tamales as they were more filling. The tamales came in three flavours (red salsa with cheese, green salsa with chicken, and a sweet version with raisins). All three were good but our favorite was the chicken one. Each tamale cost 20 pesos at the time of our visit. We also enjoyed the various flavours of atoles on offer. In particular, we recommend the "cáscara" flavour, made from cocoa shells and with some "piloncillo" (unrefined cane sugar) added. A small cup cost 20 pesos too at the time of our visit.

Iba de pasada y tenía hambre, así que me detuve a comprar una gordita. ¡Qué buenísima decisión! Pedí la tradicional: nopales, frijoles, queso y salsa. Pero, desde que ves que la calientan directo en la brasa, sabes que algo bueno vas a experimentar. Y, sí, sabe a ese ahumado del carbón que contribuye a que al final te sepa buenísima. La atención fue muy amable, tanto de quien preparó los alimentos como de quien cobro el pedido. Cero quejas y mil de satisfacción. ¡La disfruté un montón!

Excelentes gorditas muy ricas al carbón 🙌🏽 el único detalle es que dice que abren a las 5:00pm y nos atendieron hasta las 6:00pm, aprovechamos para ir a la parroquia, pero muy rico 🙌🏽

No vengan el servicio es pésimo, el señor que sirve los atoles es hostil, atiende como queriendo que no compres y te vayas. El producto pudiera ser bueno, pero el servicio apesta. Hay mejores opciones
