On the Grid : Gorditos

"Gordito's is best known for their "baby burrito", but what is a baby burrito? Is it made for babies? Nope. Is it made of babies? Nope... And gross. Why would you even think that? The answer: These burritos are the literal size of a newborn human baby. Don't believe us? Check out their walls of photos showing people's actual babies next to their massive burritos — or just order one and see for yourself. Best Leftover Dishes from Seattle Restaurants | Eater Seattle

"With all of the changes taking place in Greenwood, Gorditos is a mainstay that has held down its corner at 85th and Greenwood like a champ for over 25 years. This joint serves tacos, huevos rancheros, and enchiladas, and offers vegetarians and vegans plenty of good choices as well. Don’t miss the burritos offered wet or dry, including the “baby burrito,” which actually comes in the size of a newborn baby." - Jenise Silva

Food: big portions. Get it wet. Familiar dishes that everyone can find something they like. I would definitely get a burrito over the enchiladas but it’s just my preference. Salsa bar on site. Service: friendly owner. Walks you through the ordering process and will answer questions. Atmosphere: small grill you can see when they make your food. Pretty basic picnic table setting with a little arcade machine in the back. Family friendly. Casual. They have options for in house silverware and compost/recycling. Downsides: parking. I think there’s a small pay lot on the side (I’m not sure what time if it’s ever free?) and street parking around the corner.

Are you and your friend both hungry, AND ready to be comically overwhelmed? Gorditos is the place for you! For just $30, you and a brave dining companion can share a burrito roughly the size of a small baby—no kidding, they actually have baby burrito size comparison photos on their walls. Not only does this guarantee a legendary food coma, but you'll likely have leftovers. Plus, their salsa bar is top-notch and the wait staff is pretty awesome too. Let the burrito battles begin!

Google
The baby burrito could feed 4! I split it with my grandmother and we each took home half of our half. Delicious burrito, delicious aqua Fresca and horchata, and wonderful salsa bar you can top your plate with!

The cuisine did not meet my expectations. The beef lacked flavor and the rice was mushy, likely due to it not being fresh. Similarly, the beans were overcooked and lacked texture. As a Mexican cuisine enthusiast, I value the freshness and unique flavors of the dishes I prepare. While the serving size of the baby burrito was generous for two people, I prioritize quality over quantity. Unfortunately, the flour tortillas were too soft and easily fell apart, detracting from the overall experience. The salsa was a highlight, adding a fresh burst of flavor, but it couldn't completely mask the fact that the meal was not fresh. My rating for the food quality of the baby burrito is 3 out of 5. Overall, though, I would rate my experience a 4 out of 5. The cleanliness of the establishment receives a 3 out of 5 rating. I arrived at 3:48 p.m. on a Sunday and was pleased to find ample parking. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the business seems to be thriving and the employees appear content with their work. Despite my disappointment with the food, I plan on returning to try other dishes on the menu.

Loved the baby burrito wall. Had 2 tacos and left stuffed. Not a fan of the taco style tho. Great price , the pineapple and spinach drink was an odd choice to go with for me but hey it tasted good.

Everything is always fresh, delicious and authentic. Staff and place have a great vibe too! Parking occasionally sucks. Not too pricey either.

Google
We were highly recommended to this place as visitors to Seattle. I am not sure why this place has a cult following. The food was so bland. They ask if you want it mild, medium or spicy. I asked for medium and my husband asked for spicy. When I tell you there was not even the tiniest hint of seasoning, even salt, I am not exaggerating. It was pure starch. I think people must just like the place for the portion sizes and the novelty of the “baby burrito.” The restaurant was also very dirty and the corner table we sat in was next to a bunch of cobwebs on the wall. The lady taking our order was friendly as were the other staff we interacted with. They of course have the tipping option on the spun-around iPad, so be careful about tipping before receiving your food, as ours was very lackluster.

Google
Incredible authentic Mexican food with an eclectic hole-in-the-wall vibe! We came here as a pitstop before the Zoo and Seattle sights, and could not have landed a better lunch. The service was very friendly, the food was top-notch (we had the Pollo Asado plate to share), and the sit in atmosphere is super fun. Will come again for sure

Yelp
As others have said recently in here.. Gorditos has totally lost its charm. This place used to have a line out the door at all times. So, what's changed?? The atmosphere is nonexistent! There used to be great mariachi music playing, as well as they had draft beer, as well as THEY HAD CHIPS AND SALSA that were just complimentary, as like most Mexican restaurants. Now, there is NO music. The seating has gone to ugly picnic tables, there is no longer chips and salsa complimentary. Not to mention that while all prices in the community have gone up of course.... Their giant size burrito has gone to $18.95, (plain). Once you add fajita style and wet option, it is $24-25, this plus an ice tea cost me $33.00 All this, and they've even changed their service. They do not bring you your food. You are beeped to the counter to pick up your food. Nobody offers ANY sort of table service. You are expected to clear your dishes, etc. So, I'm always happy to tip, when service is given, but there is ZERO service given here. And no, I don't feel sad for people making minimum wage. It is your choice to work in a job that does not pay better. I can see now why nobody goes here anymore. Peace-out Gorditos. I'm finished with you.

Yelp
This place used to be magical for the tastebuds and fun place to catch up with friends. Now, Gorditos has lost all its charm. The giant wet burrito is way over-priced with little bits of jerky dry meat. Don't try eating it there because the utensils are no longer metal but rubbery plastic with no rigidity. This makes it impossible to eat with. No more chips given while you wait. No drinks. All good things come to an end. Won't be back.

Yelp
Been here many times over the past 20 years. That said, the place appears to have lost its luster. This was the first time I was here where the place wasn't packed, there were only 3 people here when we arrived, and another 3 arrived while we were eating. It's been a while since I've been here, I'd assume this was my first trip since Covid as the salsa bar is gone and now they have prefilled cups of salsa and chips are no longer complimentary. Portions are still large, but the food was not as flavorful as it used to be. I also visited the Queen Anne and Everett locations, both which were short lived. We were disappointed and found it unlikely that we would return.

Yelp
Large portions | Dietary Options | Food 7/10 A local favorite in the heart of Greenwood, I finally tried it after passing it for so long and hearing good things. The portions are huge. I got a chicken burrito, it was massive and they have a bigger one available somehow! Overall nothing special, my bar for Mexican is pretty high and this was on the same level as Chipotle to me. I think the best thing is the variety of options as far as making your food vegetarian or vegan or working around any other dietary needs which isn't always available and I appreciate that. Definitely great deal for the amount of food, one burrito could easily feed two people. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Such an iconic restaurant in the Greenwood neighborhood! Great food, service, and atmosphere if you want a casual but great place to grab Mexican food. The parking lot is quite small but you can easily find street parking nearby. They are known for their baby burrito and it is quite impressive! I also always love their chips and salsa.

Yelp
I've driven by this place for years and finally stopped by after seeing their Seattle Times article. My husband and I each got a burrito. The vegetarian one was fresh and had all the elements I was looking for with delicious avocado. He added steak to the wet potato burrito and was pleased though it ended up being so filling he took half as a leftover. Plus, the food came out quickly, the interior is huge, and there are parking spots on the side of the building. All in all, I'd return. All in all we'd be back.

Yelp
Gorditos is a legendary Greenwood/ Phinney staple... this was my first visit since their dining room was closed during covid. I ordered the tofu fajita burrito.... tasty and certainly large, as is Gordito's way. It was also incredibly messy and difficult to eat, probably better suited to eating with a plate and fork than by holding it, even when wrapped in foil. The staff is friendly, and I love the little salsa bar.

Yelp
Soooo much food!! This place is good!! Cool cafeteria style atmosphere, order at the counter and pick a table. The portions are huge and full of flavor! I like for the wet burrito with grilled chicken and some plain nachos. It was all very good and leftovers were had lol. They have a vast salsa bar and quite a recycling program going on. Highly recommend but come hungry or share a plate!!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch recently. First off were locals in the neighborhood and love coming here for either dine in or take out. The service is always prompt and the cook times are fast. Here's where it gets really good - The prices are very reasonable, 14 dollars for a HUGE platter of delicious food. Everything is cooked fresh and the portions are massive that give you 2 meals in 1. Really good spot go support them.

Yelp
These burritos are large, yummy, and affordable, packed with meat, beans, rice, sour cream, and other goodies. The shop itself is super cute and the staff friendly. There's a salsa bar that offers pickles and salsas of different heats. In the back, there's a retro arcade game and colorful tables. In a city so far away from the Southern border, Gorditos is doing it right.

Yelp
Found hair in salsa; but what made me throw away my burrito was that it was very bland. I had high expectations trying out the "baby size" asada burrito. From a person coming from california it was very disappointing. Sour cream, black beans (not fried pinto!) , rice, lettuce; I believe it's all it had, not even adding salsa to it made it better. Another "americanized Mexican" food. S.M.H. Only thing good was customer service. Ambiance was "bland" lol also. I know they could do better there too.

Yelp
I happened to be in the area and was curious about this the moment I heard from someone else about a baby burrito. As a result, I stopped by while I was in the area and got a wet one to try. I had read comments about the filling being underwhelming with the amount of beans and rice and I have to agree. Even the bites I had with meat were underwhelming to me. Something about the flavor didn't quite have the oomph I was hoping for. It wasn't bad but the bites without sour cream. There were definitely some bites that needed salsa and I was dumb enough to not grab so I could enjoy it while eating my leftovers the next day. Overall though for the price and size, it's reasonable and not a bad choice. My review leans on the harsher end because the San Diegan in me is underwhelmed. It's not a place I would go out of my way for but if I happened to be in the area and a friend suggested it, I probably wouldn't have objections.
google avatar

Celina S.

Yelp
The baby burrito was nice to try for the fun of it! It's definitely a huge portion and you can share between two people. I felt the filling was underwhelming. It's a lot of rice and beans. We also got it wet-style, but didn't feel like it added much to it. I would expect the sauce to be thicker but it was almost like they just dressed it with regular salsa, which is watery. I did enjoy the salsas offered but overall probably won't be back since the actual ingredients weren't memorable.

Yelp
Ordered via door dash. The veggie veggie burrito didn't have beans and when I tried calling, I was disconnected 6 times. Never got to talk to a human.
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
A good spot for huge burritos. My friends and I are about 2/3 of our food. The horchata here was pretty good. The meat inside the burrito was okay, wish it was salsa rather than tomato chunks. Good overall.
google avatar

Ian K.

Yelp
Really love the food! The fresh made salsas on the salsa bar is our favorite part when we come. Order pickup is easy too. I was disappointed to learn there are no highchairs available for little kids, so be prepared if that's your demographic!

Yelp
Known for their "baby" burritos, this place take things literally, not figuratively, literally. I got the "baby" burrito with steak, which is loaded up with beans, rice, lettuce, steak, tomato, and guacamole. They are as big as a human baby! With takeout, the burrito is cut in half and placed in a takeout container, filled to the brim! I made it the option of a wet burrito, which has sauce with cheese sprinkled on top. It was nice they did not microwave the burrito like most places, but rather placed in a heater oven to melt the cheese. There is a variety of salsa, pickled vegetables, onion & cilantro to the side of the counter that is pre-packaged and self-serve, though the burrito is flavorful enough to eat it as is. The burrito is pretty decent and value is amazing. It is quite huge, though it tasted like any other burrito with somewhat lower quality steak cut (to justify the value). Surprisingly, it was not very heavy, so I mostly felt satisfied after the meal. Well, more like two meals, as with how big it is, I ate half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner. Good thing my dinner plans got canceled! I don't think the burrito can last more than a day as all the ingredients are fresh and having guacamole and salsa sit an extra day would significantly degrade the quality of the burrito. Currently, there is no dine-in which is a bummer because most food must be consumed immediately for the maximum quality, but a 30min bus back was not the end of the world, though it did make the burrito a bit soggy due to the sauce with the option of a wet burrito.

Yelp
Came here after reading many good reviews about this place. I am always on the hunt for a Mexican restaurant that gives vegetarian options as well. They have their private parking space. Lot of sitting area. The order was taken by a sweet lady. The meat that was grilling on those big machines was upsetting as they will be using it to cook vegetarian meals as well. Hmmmm So we ordered their:- Wet Potato burrito:- I gave in the craze and ordered this item. I thought the potatoes would be like french fries in a burrito. The taste was not much. All over ok ok for me Wet Veggie veggie Burrito:- This was so so good. Yummy Fried jalapeños- Good Really liked all the salsas that they keep in self serve. The quantity and the price are just unbeatable. Will be back soon to try more.

Yelp
First, the food is always amazing. That will never be contested by me. I have been eating at Gordito's since it was on Queen many years ago. My Ex (rosita) worked for their credit processor, so I was always getting the best food. that said in the last year the service from the two younger women's service has been lackluster. His mother is amazing and always working. This is the customer service and safety I have issues with. I am immune-compromised and I have food allergies immune-compromised. A later allergy to tomatoes and an allergy to uncooked onions. I always request those not be included in my chicken burrito. Yet every time there is. I have bitten in trusting in the service I know. I usually have my roommate take my written order in since I can't go out much due to injuries. Now A latex allergy like mine is mild but can cause me to not breath. The onion irritates my throat and makes it close. I request them politely never to be added. But they almost always are save for maybe once. It happened today with a large burrito. Now I know people can be forgetful in their groove at a line job. But telling my roommate, "Therebreathewhat'sand was no onion it was in the guac" still means there was onion. Being incredibly rude and shitty about it was uncalled for and unprofessional. I have no idea whats up with the two younger women but this was bad enough and has been bad enough that I may not return. I can be patient with a lot but disrespect of my health and safety is not acceptable. Let alone having the attitude of a pissy teenager. You are a grown adult running a business. Be kind. I truly wish you all the best. the food is still out fucking standing. But the childish attitude when you make a mistake is needed and just a bit fucking silly. Regardless give them a try. This would be 5 stars if it wasn't for this stream of mistakes and today's interactions. One day one slip up will end your livelihood. Be kind. And be more understanding. Mistakes happens.happen

Yelp
I have come to Gorditos for various occasions over the past 15 to 20 years. My most recent visit was Sunday 5 February 2023 for brunch to-go. Because I had typically gotten chicken or tofu proteins in a fajita plate, I decided to switch it up and go with a dry pork burrito and the flan. I arrived a few minutes before opening (10:30 a.m.) and found parking to be abundant in the small parking lot to the side of the restaurant with parking marked off for Gorditos customers. Ordering was straightforward and the workers were friendly. Benches were available to sit and wait while they prepared the food. Salsas were available with portions already divvied into containers, a reminder that COVID-19 is still around. Both food items were very tasty. The tortilla for the burrito was thin, making the bites even at the burrito corners not too much tortilla. The fillings melded well together and I was impressed with the size of pork chunks. For the flan, the custard was creamy and the spices on-point. All around enjoyable dining experience.

Yelp
I love myself a good burrito. After living in San Diego for 5 years, I've had my fair share of burritos in my lifetime. And I never had a hard time devouring them in a matter of minutes, content to my heart's delight. This is the first time I can say: I couldn't finish Gordito's burrito. The struggle bus, despite being famished, was real. The burrito was almost the size of my forearm! I ordered the Grande burrito, fajita style with steak, and no joke, it was massive. I'm 6'1 with a giant appetite, and this was a monster to tackle. And I lost. (At least I have some leftovers for tomorrow.) The burrito itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either. There's a whole lot of beans, but I barely could taste the guacamole, as the flavor was overpowered by the beans and sour cream. It eventually got a bit soggy near the end, and I was struggling a bit to remove the paper wrapper without ripping a hole in the tortilla. But for how much you get for the price, nothing can beat this. I'm still in a food coma. I'm excited to try out their quesadilla next! Overall, if you're starving and craving Mexican burritos (and don't mind sharing or saving it for leftovers), then Gordito's definitely serves a monster of a meal.

Yelp
Friends brought back some "baby" burritos. I had no idea what they meant, they were full size burritos. Looks like that's the nickname for them but they're also "burrito grande." I took a peek at the menu, I'll point out "these prices reflect a 3% cash discount" so I assume paying in card means there's a higher price, which is a strange way to show prices and can even feel like a dark pattern. I didn't have to deal with it though, but I figured it was worth pointing out. Food is great though, the blend of everything creates a perfect burrito taste with solid fillings and creaminess from guacamole and sour cream. My only complaint is that the bites can be one-sided so that one side is heavy on the fillings and the other side is primarily the guacamole and sour cream. This typically isn't a problem with smaller burritos, but these things are pretty big so that it's harder to get an even mouthful. Didn't eat these burritos fresh so I'm sure they're even better in that situation, but they were already really good when reheated so that says enough about the taste.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
The size of these burritos is no joke. I ordered 2 baby-sized burritos with fish and steak, and left with what felt like a 10lb dumbbell. Each order completely filled the container! I've never had this much bang for my buck. As for the food itself, the flour tortillas are very thin and easily torn by fork. I've never had a burrito done 'wet' (layered in salsa / sour cream / cheese), and pretty sure Gordito's helped me discover my new preference. Great balance of rice&beans, though the fish burrito is slightly heavy on the cabbage. Overall great food experience and will keep this place in my favorites!
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
This place definitely lives up to its name - the portions are huge! A basic burrito easily lasted me two meals. My brother ordered the grande burrito and it's honestly the largest burrito I've probably seen in my life. The only drawback was that the burrito was pretty bland. You're definitely paying for quantity over quality here, but if you're starving and looking for a quick, filling meal, then Gordito's will definitely satisfy that.
google avatar

Ronald O.

Yelp
The food was so delicious and fresh! The steak was so tender. I orders a side of chips and salsa. You could tell the salsa was made that day. I also ordered a strawberry agua fresca
google avatar

Hunter O.

Yelp
If you came here a long time ago it use to be much better. It's lacking flavor now. And just kinda ok. You have to put a ton of salsa on it to make it taste right. Sad to see the place go down hill. Well I will just keep my fond memories of wha tit use to be and not go back. Also they want to change you to refill a soda which to me is just bad practice for a place.
google avatar

Alicia M.

Yelp
The grande burrito is BIG. It ended up being 3 meals for me! Got it wet style. And for some reason, the sour cream on top was some of the best I've had. So creamy! Lol Solid place if you're looking for a burrito. The flan was meh.
google avatar

Maya C.

Yelp
This place is known for sheer size of their burritos, the "baby burrito", as they say. However, even that has gotten smaller over time. Overall, mediocre food in a mediocre atmosphere.

Shay D.

Yelp
My husband ordered a steak burrito extra wet and absolutely "no" beans. Well, guess what? It had an insane amount of BEANS! Then when he told the guy behind the counter, he said "you didn't say you didn't want beans"! I was there and had my husband not said it... I would've reminded him. The people who ran it before knew our family and would always make an order right NO MATTER WHAT THEY HAD TO DO and I loved that about them. It no longer has a family vibe, they charge for refills, chips and salsa and the food is just so-so. Plus, everything is plastic and you know that's not good for our planet. It feels like whoever is running it now doesn't know how to bring quality to the forefront of a business. It's so sad.
google avatar

Erica A.

Yelp
Service was fast for getting food to go! The food itself was decent, I think their portions are just right but was a bit underwhelmed with their burrito. My burrito was loaded with more beans and rice than the actual steak I ordered and other fillings. I was more happy with the ceviche tostada than the burrito I ordered (loved their strawberry agua fresca as well!!!). Nonetheless, I think the price is great for what you get. I would just love a better balanced burrito.

Yelp
A staple in our household 3-5 times a month. Have had most categories on the menu, including the ginormous bébé-sized burritos. When I'm indecisive but hungry, I just get a bag of tacos (usually chicken). The quesadilla is a little easier for me to eat if while driving. If I am starving while putting in the order, I'll sometimes throw a chicken quesadilla in w/ my big taco order to snack on the way home. Am SO grateful for Gordito's consistency, reliability & friendliness. Ordering directly from their website, instead of what links google puts up, is much more straightforward & overall easier for me.

Yelp
I first tried this place in 1999 and wa Hooked. The food is still exactly the same - Amazing!
google avatar

Jeremy P.

Yelp
If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and get ANYTHING from the menu! They're known for their Baby Burritos, burritos the size of a baby, but just as tasty are their breakfast options, fajita tofu, and potato tacos. This is a must-have! Shout out to Shannon and the whole team behind the madness!
google avatar

Aaron L.

Yelp
Located in the greenwood neighborhood. I've been meaning to try this place for awhile and happened to be in the area. I got the Steak Baby Burrito and it was literally the size of an adult baby (maybe). I believe it could be split into 3 separate meals if you want. The taste is pretty good and the sauces are great. Overall a good option for Mexican food!
google avatar

Munch S.

Yelp
My absolute favorite burrito spot in the city. Gordito's truly delivers when it comes to their pickled veggies. Make sure you don't miss out. Spice level is very tame so go as spicy as you wish but truly no kick. Always split the grande burrito!
google avatar

Mitchell H.

Yelp
This is boom burrito at this place sometime you get tired of smothering pork chops and chicken treat yourself don't beat yourself Lol
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
The burritos are huge but very flavorful. I recommend getting one fajita style for some veggies and extra flavor. The service is quick, the food is hot and we are always satisfied! Never hungry after eating one of their burritos!
google avatar

Emma T.

Yelp
Well this place is delicious. I got the potato burrito and it was one of the best of life. I got the recommendation from a local and it did not disappoint. It's a tiny place that isn't open for dine in, but you can call ahead or order while you're there and the wait is pretty short. I suggest getting your burrito "wet" the red sauce is delicious and who can argue with a little extra cheese. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I've got a very full tummy and a big smile.

Yelp
Ohh Gordito's how far you've fallen. I would like to think I helped your initial success 20 years ago. You were on the other side of the street with your young children playing Nintendo in the front room behind the sheet curtains. The owners were so lovely and welcoming the food was similar as today but actually made with so much love and passion. I told all my freinds who told theirs so on and so on. We would eat there 3, 4 nights a week. My wife likes to make the same claim that it was her that helped their success, even though it was all me. lol. Nonetheless I went there today and got their grande fajita wet burrito, my mainstay back in the day. It was nothing like the original not to mention 27 dollars with tip. Yikes for a burrito. They had beets on tap, I wanted but was told they have not worked for 3years. Why not take down??? They also had the best warm salad and chips to munch on while waiting for that amazing huge delicious burrito. Nope not anymore. Please if the original owners, who I believe left it to their children, are still around, please step in and help set them straight. I don't want to see your legacy and wonderful restaurant go down in flames.

Yelp
I'm not usually a big fan of Mexican food but loved this place. Not only do they say their Burritos are big--they actually are. And they are Reasonably priced. Gorditos is not stingy either. The shrimp burrito was the best out of the three different burritos that we ordered, and it had plenty of large shrimp. Most places when you order anything seafood or shrimp related, only gives you a few puny shrimp. During our takeout here we tried the pork smothered burrito, the shrimp smothered burrito, and the chicken baby burrito. The shrimp was by far the best but I am not sure if you can get it in the baby burrito size. doing fajita style is also worth the money. The only thing I wish they had would be a variety of customizations. I would love to be able to pick what kind of salsa is inside and have like a variety of different salsa flavors. Gorditos is definitely worth a try, even if Mexican food is not your favorite.

Yelp
Located in Greenwood area. Dine in wasn't available still, only take out. The staff was friendly & helpful. It's been many years since I've been here and not much has changed. The grande burrito is still huge and made for sharing or eating for a few days. Still good

Yelp
Hometown favorite, open since 1994, I've been going there since 2001. Good service, great location, a neighborhood anchor. Please Gordito's, never change!

Yelp
San Diego/California natives, I have done all the research. This, is the Mexican food you are looking for, but cannot find anywhere in Seattle. The salsas are flavorful and actually spicy. The enchilada sauce and wet burritos are delicious. Prices are very reasonable, and seating is casual. I have lived down the street from this place for 3 years, and just made it in for the first time. Words cannot express my regret for not visiting sooner.

Yelp
Can you put some fresh gravel in your parking lot please? Almost need 4x4 to get in the lot. Food looks good though and priced right

Yelp
LISTEN. UP. If you're not from Washington, you may not be aware that authentic Mexican food is so hard to find around here. I had lunch plans with someone from southern California who claimed that this was their go-to place for Mexican food. LOCATION & PARKING // This place is in Greenwood near some grocery stores and other local shops. If you're having a hard time finding it, find the hot pink wall. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant but I ended up finding street parking a block away easily too. I wouldn't worry too much about finding parking around here, especially if you don't mind walking a block or two. FOOD // I got the CARNE ASADA QUESADILLA and a side of GUACAMOLE. The portions are huge here! The quesadilla was amazing though. It was a perfect blend of the textures of crispiness and softness. It wasn't salty nor bland. What I appreciated the most is that it never got soggy throughout my entire meal. I hate when cheese seeps through my quesadilla and makes everything too soft. Also, this place's chips and salsa? BOMB. I loved everything here. I also go the STRAWBERRY AGUA FRESCA which was super refreshing and perfect for the meal! Be prepared for a food coma afterwards. SERVICE // We were treated with such kindness immediately! You can tell that this place runs in a very family-like style. The restaurant itself is clean too. AMBIANCE // Honestly, when I walked into here, I felt like I was in Santa Ana, CA again. It all just felt right and I knew the food was going to be fantastic. It's a casual place where families or friends can grab a reliable delicious Mexican meal together. OVERALL // 4.5 stars I've already recommended this place to others and they've shared with me that they love it! I'll be back.

Yelp
Not the highest quality burrito you'll have but the selections, portions, and price are A+. The salsas from the salsa bar are BOMB. We ordered the grande fish burrito ($13.50). Tilapia, Iceberg Lettuce, sour cream, black beans, rice, and Guacamole (tasted packaged - I like packaged guac so I didn't mind but the BF wasn't a fan). The guy at the cash register was so friendly :) Burritos came out quickly too!

Yelp
I always get the nachos with chicken and whole bunch of chipotle sauce. The best you can get anywhere. I love this place.

Yelp
Not my favorite Mexican place, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I got the wrong thing (salad). I'd say stick with the carne asada - chicken was only meh. You gotta love tomatoes to have their chunky tomato salsa.. it's just diced tomatoes. So if you love them - this is your jam. My husband loved his cArne asada burrito, so stick to the basics and I'm sure you'll be fine.
