Gordo Ninos NASA

This restaurant is located inside the gas station on NASA Road 1 and has been open for about two years. I had seen a lot of positive reviews and decided to give it a try. The person behind the counter was very friendly and recommended their popular item called a spliff. It’s basically a chicken taquito that’s deep-fried and topped with their signature sauces. While the flavor was good, I found the chicken to be a little dry and the dish had more sauce than I prefer. If a signature item is being recommended, I would expect it to be fresh and not come out dry or chewy. That said, I understand that sometimes food can sit a little longer after lunch hours. Overall, I appreciate the friendly service and recommendation . Even though my first dish wasn’t my favorite, I would come back to try something else since so many people have had great experiences here.

Came in for some Htown Food and fell in love with Lean Sauce. Grab you a bottle while you there throw that sauce on everything. Burritos are good too. To be honest there has not been anything on the menu we didn’t like. Everything is Fire

Hidden gem. The pastor and carne tacos are full of flavor & the “chronic sauce” is perfectly spicy w/ delicious tomatillo flavor. The purple Lean Sauce is creamy and a hint of garlic flavor- perfect balance to the spice. The “spliff tacos” are crunchy and I’d def order a bottle of lean sauce to dip them in. I’ve put that stuff on eggs, and really anything that needs a little something. Oh- Wednesday’s WAB is 🔥, I take my out of town friends here. Also, love that they cater, these tacos were a hit at my pool party. Word to the wise : BUY EXTRA.

I had chicken and pastor tacos. Both were delicious. The chicken is shredded, and that's my favorite on a taco. The pastor had so much flavor. I also got chips and salsa and by far the best green salsa I've had. The elote was good, but a little too salty, or maybe too much lime. The guy working was super nice and helpful

Gordo Niños is an outstanding example of Al Pastor done right. Today I got the WAB, wet azz burrito. Its packed with al Pastor, shredded chicken, hot Cheetos, and an appropriate amount of cilantro. The purple lean sauce has just enough heat to make a white boy's face bead up with sweat. Its big enough that I can't eat it all at once. If you're a germaphobe, Gordo's has you covered. They keep an immaculately clean shop, even during dinner rush. Their tacos will make an angry pregnant Latina STFU for a few minutes. I thank them for that.

I love Gordo Ninos!!!! I would be sooooo big if they were close. I use to drive from Spring to NASA for my lean sauce! All the workers are nice! Don’t miss out on the lean sauce. I now live closer so here almost once a week. My kids love it too!

Honestly some of the best tacos I've ever had, I've had the pastor tacos, the pastor burrito, and just recently a W.A.B, all of them are inexplicably good. Each flavor works well together, and the prices are great. The staff are very friendly, have great recommendations, and definitely know what they're doing. Absolutely some of my favorite food in Houston.

These tacos are fire. Get carne, shrimp, pastor, or veggie. All 4 are some of the best I have ever had. Chicken, while cooked well, lacks in flavor. Definitely come on Tuesday for $2 tacos! Guys working there are also amazing
