Gordo Ninos NASA

This restaurant is located inside the gas station on NASA Road 1 and has been open for about two years. I had seen a lot of positive reviews and decided to give it a try. The person behind the counter was very friendly and recommended their popular item called a spliff. It’s basically a chicken taquito that’s deep-fried and topped with their signature sauces. While the flavor was good, I found the chicken to be a little dry and the dish had more sauce than I prefer. If a signature item is being recommended, I would expect it to be fresh and not come out dry or chewy. That said, I understand that sometimes food can sit a little longer after lunch hours. Overall, I appreciate the friendly service and recommendation . Even though my first dish wasn’t my favorite, I would come back to try something else since so many people have had great experiences here.

Oh myyy god! I tried a bit of everything and I’m OBSESSED! The spliff tacos are 🔥🔥🔥 I love how they use chicken. They were so crunchy the lean sauce was so delicious in everything. The shrimp tacos were surprisingly good and the shrimps were big and juicy. The carne asada and pastor were seasoned perfectly. Everything was fresh. The staff were so friendly. I cannot wait to go back! Please open a location in LA 😭

Came in for some Htown Food and fell in love with Lean Sauce. Grab you a bottle while you there throw that sauce on everything. Burritos are good too. To be honest there has not been anything on the menu we didn’t like. Everything is Fire

Tacos were awesome, great flavor for all the pastor was our favorite! Lean sauce was supposed to be the star of the show, it was outstanding and the color made it stand out (purple). Don’t know how we never tried it but it’s a great find and affordable too

Hidden gem. The pastor and carne tacos are full of flavor & the “chronic sauce” is perfectly spicy w/ delicious tomatillo flavor. The purple Lean Sauce is creamy and a hint of garlic flavor- perfect balance to the spice. The “spliff tacos” are crunchy and I’d def order a bottle of lean sauce to dip them in. I’ve put that stuff on eggs, and really anything that needs a little something. Oh- Wednesday’s WAB is 🔥, I take my out of town friends here. Also, love that they cater, these tacos were a hit at my pool party. Word to the wise : BUY EXTRA.

Food was mid at best did not live up to the hype , great service though but its in a gas station so cant expect a hype atmosphere. The lean sauce does not belong in the corn cup it made it sour and could not eat it. Its kinda expensive for what u get im my opinion.

I had chicken and pastor tacos. Both were delicious. The chicken is shredded, and that's my favorite on a taco. The pastor had so much flavor. I also got chips and salsa and by far the best green salsa I've had. The elote was good, but a little too salty, or maybe too much lime. The guy working was super nice and helpful

The shrimp tacos are so underrated. They are so flavorful and not overcooked. The pastor tacos are right behind them. Definitely going back for the quesadillas fries and burritos next. Prices are reasonable and they have specials encrusted of the week day. They even have vegetarian options as well. Amd service was AMAZING.
