MGM Resorts may close some resorts during the week as tourism remains slow - Eater Vegas

"Gordon Ramsay plans to open an outlet of Gordon Ramsay Burger inside Harrods in London. The restaurant will feature burgers topped with Guinness mustard aioli, Gruyère cheese, mushrooms, and crispy onions on the pub burger; Dubliner cheese and mangalitza pork bacon on the farmhouse burger; and foie gras, chèvre goat’s cheese, port aioli, and frisée on the foie burger. The concept is similar to his original location at Planet Hollywood Resort." - Susan Stapleton

From the moment we were greeted by the wonderful female manager with dark hair we felt so welcome! She was so friendly, warm and explained the entire menu very clearly. Our server Dragna was also very attentive and polite, she supplied items for the table before we even knew we needed them! Such as wipes etc. the food was fantastic, so much flavour and the perfect temperature, kudos to the chefs! We celebrated our anniversary and Harrods was kind enough to give us a hand written card and a gorgeous strawberry ice cream dessert! We felt so special and touched. It was truly a memorable experience! We can’t wait to return ☺️

All name, no flavour. We tried the Hell’s Kitchen Burger – they didn’t even ask how we wanted it cooked. It came well-done, dry and rubbery. The Oklahoma Smash? No caramelisation, no flavour, just chewy meat pretending to be premium. Sweet potato fries were OK. Truffle fries and kids’ chicken strips? Also just OK. And that’s all I can say that’s remotely positive. Massively overpriced. You can get twice the quality for half the price at Five Guys. If Gordon saw this in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares, he’d shut it down in 15 minutes.

I had lunch with my wife at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Harrods. While the prices are quite high, the quality of the burger and lobster roll fell far short of Gordon’s usual standard. The burger was overly dry and underwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend it—there are plenty of excellent burger options in the area that offer better value and taste.

My exception was high for the Gordon Ramsay restaurant! We have ordered 4 burgers. The taste and experience was amazing that you couldn’t get it from anywhere else however the waiter could have told us that it’s probably too much to order four fries with your burgers and the atmosphere was not great! And we had a hard time to find the restaurant in the shopping mall as it was like a maze!

Came in for lunch excited to try something with Gordon's name attached to it. Had I read the reviews I would have steered clear. Instead I ended up with a very solid burger with high quality ingredients and great flavours which should be expected since you'll be paying at least double the amount you would expect to pay for something like it. My main complaint is the fact that it wasn't a smash burger like described, more like a "slightly flattened" burger which just ended up being normal sized patties like the ones you'd get at a McDonalds. My friend ordered the sweet potato fries which were great but it was quite disappointing when you discover that the large silver cup they bring them to you in is mostly filled with air and you only end up with barely a handful of fries. I will not be returning here anytime soon.

With it being a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, my expectations were naturally high. The service was good – we were seated straight away, offered drinks and menus, and given some helpful recommendations. The food arrived quickly and looked appealing. However, I was disappointed as soon as I bit into the burger – it was very dry and lacked flavour. The wings were decent, but nothing special. What really shocked me was the price: nearly £100 for two burgers and some wings. I get that it’s in Harrods, but at that price point, you’d expect top-quality food – and this was far from it. Honestly, if the food had delivered, I wouldn’t have minded the cost. But in this case, it just didn’t live up to the name or the price tag. Gordon really needs to focus on getting his own restaurant right before trying to fix others.

Google
I had a fantastic experience at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant. The Hellfire Wings were packed with bold flavor and just the right amount of heat, while the smash burger was cooked to perfection, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. A special shoutout to Dragana, who provided top notch service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was spot on. Her hospitality truly made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

Went for lunch on a Saturday and as I dinning solo, I was able to get a spot at the bar within less than 5 minutes, which was great since the queue for tables was over 30 minutes. I've tried the Flat Iron Steak burger and it was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had! The steak was perfect bad you could taste every single ingredient, which was a delicious combination. The truffle Parmesan fries were good, just not as memorable. The service was great, although the food took about 30 minutes to arrive. I totally recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back.

Yelp
We ordered 2 different burgers and a drink each to the total of £100. Drinks were okay but nothing to write home about and same with the burger. There was no wow for me and when I pay £28 for a burger, I kind of expect it to make me do my happy dance. Service was beyond bad. We sat at the bar and the servers were having a fight right in front of us. I had to grab the waitresses attention EVERY TIME to get anything, even order and to pay. They were busy but it wasn't a constant line and I would think that this was a normal busy level for them. Oh well, 0-2 at Gordon's restaurants, I won't be trying another one and wasting my money like that. PS. The picture of him at the entrance of the restaurant is from when he was like 25 or severely photoshopped.

Yelp
The burgers were great. I could taste that the patties were put together from better parts of the cow. I was juicy (not too juicy) and well seasoned. The temperature options started from medium to well done. I imagine this was the case because mixing different parts of age beef required a longer cooking time to kill off the bacterias. In addition the service and ambiance was excellent. Everything else just was not even good: The Milkshake tasted like it was made from cheaper quality ice cream. It was too sweet and the consistency was flat. The Hellfire Wings didn't have much heat (spiciness) to it. It also looked a little beat up. The French Fries were "soggy crisp", like if the deep fryer was not up to temperature yet. Didn't care for the house made ketchup because it didn't have enough acidity to it. It didn't complement the burger or the French fries. It tasted like tomato soup, I would have enjoyed a bowl of it with a cheesy crouton. I suggest skipping this part of Harrod's Department Store unless you really really want only a fantastic burger and a Coke Zero.

Yelp
This was a place my wife and I looked forward to trying while visiting London, because it was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Apparently, his tv persona is just that, a persona! The service was less than stellar, and the $39 U.S. "Next Level" burger was a major disappointment. Let me just say, the only thing "next level" about it was the price! Because this is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, we really expected this burger to knock our socks off, but it was less than mediocre. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! If Gordon is anything like his tv persona, he needs to visit this place incognito and whip this place into shape.

Yelp
Aug 2023 2 American burgers, onions, and a Coke cost $78 lbs or $100 American dollars. Burgers appear to be way more expensive in London compared to the states. Interestingly enough, in London/Europe the meat can only be cooked medium or well-done. We would have preferred ours medium-rare. Although the burgers were fine, we have had better burgers for much cheaper elsewhere. My hubby later found out that Harrod which the restaurant is located in had a food market and said the food would have been cheaper and likely tasted better had we gone there. Also, while eating at Gordon, there was an unpleasant smell. Throughout our visit in London, we smelled BO which was very unpleasant. It was unavoidable at the restaurant too. Again, burgers were fine, but nothing to write home about. We would have been just as content eating a fast food burger.

Yelp
My visit to Gordon Ramsay's renowned restaurant inside Harrod's for burgers and shakes was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance exuded an inviting and stylish vibe, setting the perfect backdrop for a delightful dining experience. The attentive and friendly staff greeted us warmly, making us feel like valued guests from the start. Now, let's talk about the main attraction--the burgers! They were simply out of this world. Cooked to perfection, the patties were juicy and flavorful, boasting a mouthwatering blend of premium ingredients. The variety of burger options catered to all tastes, and each one had a unique twist that made it a culinary masterpiece. The Truffle Burger was an absolute showstopper, featuring a succulent beef patty topped with luxurious truffle aioli and accompanied by perfectly caramelized onions. The Classic Cheeseburger was everything you'd want in a burger--gooey melted cheese, fresh veggies, and a tantalizing house-made sauce. But the experience didn't stop there! The shakes were equally exceptional. Creamy, thick, and bursting with flavor, they were an indulgent treat that perfectly complemented the burgers. The innovative Oreo Shake, each sip was pure bliss. The attention to detail in both the burgers and shakes was remarkable, a testament to the culinary expertise of Gordon Ramsay and his team. It's no surprise that this restaurant lives up to its reputation for delivering top-tier dining experiences. While dining here, I couldn't help but appreciate the excellent service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, and they provided helpful recommendations to ensure we had the best possible experience. In conclusion, if you're a burger and shake enthusiast, Gordon Ramsay's restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The five-star quality of the food, combined with the impeccable service and inviting ambiance, made this dining experience truly unforgettable. Bravo to Gordon Ramsay and his team for creating a burger and shake haven that excels in every aspect. I can't wait to return and savor the incredible flavors once again!

Yelp
After seeing his grilled cheese sandwich I had low expectations. The food wasn't bad but it definitely could've been a whole lot better, you could feed a town with one plate, the only thing that I actually enjoyed was the macaroni and cheese bites. The service wasn't all that great either, they were nice but they didn't really do anything, we only saw them when we arrived and when we asked for the check. The place is honestly kinda ugly, like if a fast food place and a fancy restaurant had a baby, the chairs aren't the most comfortable but they're not unusable. It was kinda expensive for what it was, it was not worth it honestly.

Yelp
Nothing special about it honestly. I think it's this location as my son have been to three different locations in the states and he swears by them. The salad was okay. The burger itself wasn't that good at all. I didn't have bread since I am gluten free but my daughter did get the normal burger with the bread. She said the bread is super good. But she didn't like the meat as well. Service was good and super fast so I was glad I was in n out fast as I was tight on time. The funniest thing is the restaurant in the middle of the women shopping department at the Harrods. It's a bit fancier than fast food setup. Would I go there again? Yes as I wanna try other stuff and see if it's the Hell's Kitchen burger that wasn't good or the meat in general wasn't good. Btw I never had a good burger in the UK for the past 10 years so it might be the trend.

Yelp
Should have gone to Five Guys. This was by far the most expensive and most underwhelming burger I've had. I had the Blue Cheese Burger (£26.50). Firstly, the "lowest" temperature you can order is medium-well and it was dry. The bun was the highlight of the burger. The caramelized onions, weren't fully caramelized. Someone got impatient because there were big chucks of white onions. There was also a significant lack of blue cheese of the burger. Disclaimer. I only came here because my visiting family chose "American" food for dinner. The staff was pleasant.

Yelp
Don't even bother! Such a pricey burger but absolutely dry and flavorless. They are only good for IG posts. Freakin' Red Robin and Habit Burger in East Brunswick, NJ make burgers 10x better than the fluff pieces here. Save your money.

Yelp
Decent food however certainly overpriced. Came for a group dinner with a reservation. We settled with a few burgers, lobster roll, fries for sharing. No one asked how the burgers should be cooked so all of them showed up well done which certainly not my type. The Lobster roll was great but with £55 price tag, I don't think I will try again. Services were decent.

Yelp
Street burger is one of Gordon Ramsay's more affordable locations. I am grateful for the opportunity to eat here since I have myself made Gordon's Great Burger and the ultimate cheesy burger. I love that I have this basis of comparison for my own executions of his recipes and his chef's. When I say mine are better... oh lawd there's just no comparison. Let's start with the cook on the meat. Look at the pictures. The lamb was certainly brown and dry however my sister said the flavor was very good. I found the O.G.R. Burger to be slightly more juicy but no where near medium and it lacked seasoning. Chef Ramsay... listen up friend these guys aren't executing your recipes well!! And I'm not just saying that because I know I do it better. It doesn't matter if I do because I paid for your chefs to do it well and they didn't. Something to improve upon perhaps? I'm giving these under seasoned and overcooked burgers 2 stars because it filled my hole. I would say overpriced but I know better! With proper execution these are priced adequately. Cleanliness service and ambiance all gain 5 stars. Enough said about that. This brings this location to 4.25 stars but we don't do that... 4 stars.

Yelp
The service was great. The location is nice and bright with great appeal. The food was very disappointing! The burgers were overpriced, overcooked and flavorless. The truffle fries were delicious. Quite disappointing.

Yelp
The service was great, she had a welcoming attitude and I hope she continues to be as welcoming as time continues. The ambiance was fine, it's in a mall, you could see clothes nearby. It gives the energy of being a fast food restaurant almost. The food was unfortunately mediocre, and it wasn't just a bad day. The burgers were not just slightly bland, but two of them had a fish flavor that didn't belong. The drinks were perfect and the appetizers such as the corn cheese were a solid 10/10.

Yelp
After watching Gordon Ramsay on MasterClass, I expected a hamburger that would be a cut above the rest! Instead, the hamburger was small, the meat was overcooked and tough, and the lettuce, onions, and pickles were minimal. On top of all that, the staff was inattentive.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try Gordon Ramsay's burger. There's always a massive queue in Korea. My friend and I walked past this place in London near Coventry and it didn't look so busy, and the price seemed affordable (around 15 pp) so we went in. I mean, the reviews are bad but it's a good burger! There was a lot of meat, flavor and spice. And the portion was huge (for me). The staff was friendly too. Maybe I could have had a higher expectation of the 'Ramsay' burger, but overall, I wouldn't criticize it! Would I pay 15 pounds to go back? Mmm I'd be up for trying something new!

Ian V.

Yelp
Burger was wasted potential, juicy but no seasoning, egg was totally dry, pancetta was salty on its own but tasted like nothing in the burger. My mom had a chicken salad that was borderline inedible, chicken had a toothy shell, was dry and flavorless. Truffle fries were ok. The water was six pounds. Service was sub par, they could probably tell we weren't happy but didn't seem to be bothered. The most expensive burger and fry I will probably ever eat, and I expected way more for the price and the name on the restaurant.

Yelp
Gordon Ramsay Burger is Gordon's newest restaurant in London, it is located on the Fourth Floor of the high-end Harrods department store, it fits in really well, the restaurant looks good, despite it being located in another store, you can tell they've spent some time and effort in making the place look good, despite difficult circumstances and restrictions. As you'd expect from Gordon Ramsay x Harrods, the food is pretty expensive here, the layout feels more like an American diner than the high-end prices. Prices start at £21 and that's without fries and the service charge which is added onto the end of every bill, which meant my bill came to £30.25. The staff seemed polite, although they weren't too attentive, no one came up to check on me during my meal, which at the prices they charge is pretty inexcusable, they also failed to bring over the mayonnaise I asked for, to go with my fries, it's like they weren't even trying to justify the service charge. I was told they were able to make my good gluten-free, as long as I ordered without the bun, this wasn't ideal but I did go for it. It would have been nice if they replaced the bun with something, such as a lettuce wrap. My burger didn't taste good at all, I don't even think it appeared to be too appetising with cold onions and no sauce on the burger, the meat was slightly chewy and it wasn't the quality you'd expect from a prestigious chef like Gordon Ramsay at all. Strangely, they didn't even ask how I wanted it cooked... again not what you'd expect from a place with burger in its' name. The chips were fine, they were slightly bland, but they were edible, I did like the homemade tomato ketchup which came with them. I've been to chain burger joints which were better than this, I get the price is high-end but I'm happy to pay it for good food and good service, sadly neither seemed to be good on this occasion and I left disappointed and hungry. 1*

Yelp
Just not a good burger sadly:(. Overcooked and unflavorful. Pretty disappointed but points for atmosphere and the great staff!

Keith W.

Yelp
Ramsey would make them apologize to the food as well as guests. Service is impressively slow yet kind...seated at 19:10, first cocktail at 19:40, second well after 20:15. Bread and butter at 4.5 pounds, burned but turned over so the runner didn't have to witness the horror, then a mediocre at best Wellington, also sadly burned to a crisp on the outside, but a perfect yet under seasoned medium rare inside. Pancetta or Parma is typical...this one was wrapped in the fat of an unknown witness to the crime. It did appear that other guests may have been enjoying their visit...is, not really. Oh...it's literally at the Lucky Cat entrance...wildly indistinguishable on its own...but alas, don't bother unless you set your Ramsay expectation rather low.

Sheila F.

Yelp
If Gordon Ramsay were to review this restaurant, the expletives would be flying out of his mouth! I ordered a burger and fries. I asked for a well done burger. It took forever (over 20 minutes) and when it finally came it was almost raw inside. It came on a gloppy bun with too much oozing out of it. They took it back and brought me one that was a cooked a bit more but it was one of the worst burgers I've had in a long time. The fries were also just meh. All this for an exorbitant price. I cannot believe that a restaurant with Gordon Ramsay's name on it could be so absolutely terrible! Don't waste your time or money here!

K K.

Yelp
Pros: - Service (from our waiter and the hostess) were great! - Mac and cheese balls also tasty. Cons: - Need to seriously re-evaluate the burger flavors. I wouldn't be so harsh on a matter of personal taste if it weren't for GR's perfectionism - accordingly, I feel it's my duty to complain about how awful the burgers are. The bleu cheese burger, for one, has a silly frisee sauce that is totally unnecessary, especially since the whole burger is completely tasteless. As an American, I also found the taste of the American burger downright offensive and completely off - you can find a far more authentic and tasty American burger at Five Guys or Shake Shack, both of which are well-tested, well-loved American burger chains. DO BETTER, GORDON!

Yelp
The food was excellent. Highly recommend making a booking ahead of time. Tucked away on the 4th floor of Harrod's, get ready to search out the small dining room. While definitely on the steeper side price wise, the service, speed, and scrumptiousness make up for it.

Yelp
Terrible! Burger was the worst I have ever tasted, sent it back and did not want anything else due to the fact we had already sent back several other items that were cold or incorrect! Would not recommend ever, also they were out of other items and service was slow.

Kayden F.

Yelp
Beat burger ever, don't order a shake it's too big for one person. You should share a shake.

Jodie P.

Yelp
Honestly very boring! I expected much more from a chef, but I guess they just licensed his name only. Don't come here. Waste of money for very average food. I am gluten intolerant like a lot of people and there was literally nothing I could eat, so I sat here drinking a cup of tea while my partner had a burger. That's literally all they make here. Burgers and fries. Nothing healthy. Except a very average salad.

Mark C.

Yelp
C'mon! 21 pounds for fries? Over priced in every level! We would be happy paying it, if the value was there. But the value was not there. The onion rings were bland and the American burgers and fries were just okay. For 30 bucks, we could go to Shake Shack and get a better meal. Our meal clocked in here at 160 bucks. One day later, we dined at Chelsea Pig. We paid the same price as Ramsay's but got great appetizers, high end entrees and a bottle of wine. This is a big time fail for a place with the Ramsay name on it! Went there as Ramsay fans. Left wondering why he put his name on the place. Will not return.

Daniel S.

Yelp
My wife was excited to finally try a Ramsay restaurant. Sadly we left unimpressed. Went in for lunch with my mother and wife and left extremely disappointed. Paid over 100 pounds for cold burgers that weren't prepared correctly. Service was slow and had to ask for my drink several times. Long wait for our burgers which confused us because the table next to us which sat down 15min after us got their food first. Would not recommend this restaurant nor will we return. Leaves in question other Ramsay establishments.

Mike M.

Yelp
Over cooked burger that was pretty good - for about 6£ cheaper than it was. I'd say there is better food around but kind of cool to eat in a mall (I guess)

Kathryn G.

Yelp
I was looking for to going to a Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. My expensive burger was flavorless, not good at all. So sad.
