"British chef and TV insult comic Gordon Ramsay is opening a third location of his Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in south Lake Tahoe. The restaurant is coming to Harvey’s South Lake, a Caesar’s-owned hotel just over the border into Nevada in the town of Stateline. They’ll renovate the dining room, which features original log beams dating to the ‘40s, and open with dishes like beef Wellington in time for ski season, the Mercury News reports." - Caleb Pershan

Whoever leaves anything less than a 5-star review either has WAY too high of expectations that are almost impossible to meet or doesn't appreciate the work that goes into making Hell's Kitchen what it is every night. On the other hand, I visited Hell's Kitchen on February 3rd, Monday night for a birthday! The service was incredible, the food was on point. The ambience was very relaxing and it seemed like everyone was having a blast! My wife and I made a promise to each other that we would stop by at least once every quarter of the year to enjoy another night just like this one! Thank you for the hospitality.

Me and hubby went for new years eve and we had a nice time. The food was really good and he’s vegetarian so i thought it was going to be hard for him to get a good meal but he was able to get food and love it. The bass was so delicious, and cooked well. I wasn’t feeling well and asked them could i take my food to go and they didn’t have an issue. Would definitely recommend.

Decided to finally try Hells Kitchen after many years. My husband took me here for our anniversary. Very busy! We got the pan seared scallops, was our least favorite. The scallops came out with a super fishy smell and tasted ok. The best part about it was the bacon on top. The Beer Wellington itself was top tier. Literally mouth melting delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. I definitely think Gordon needs to pay a visit to this location undercover and watch the staff… ( back of house, the platters? Eating on the job with mouth full. ) Was it worth $250? Well, if we would of got the Caesar salad instead DEFINITELY! Especially for special occasions.

To start off, we made a reservation 2 months in advance. David was our waiter. He was extremely nice, taking the time to chat with us, making a safe environment for us to ask questions and took the time to ask if any of us had allergies. We ended up forgetting a coat and he ran to return it to us. We started with the lobster risotto. It was buttery, cheesy and perfect. We then had the wagyu meatballs which fell flat in my expectations. It was cold even though the pan it came in was hot, and it tasted like a dry Costco meatball. I would have liked it to have less seasoning to taste and enjoy the meat more. We ate the beef Wellington. It was divine. The meat was soft and buttery, cooked perfectly. The small rounded vegetables were sweet which counters the fatty beef tenderloin. The outer layer was flakey and light. The mushrooms were kind of strong so if you don’t like the flavor you may not enjoy this meal. Finally we had the sticky toffee pudding. I personally wouldn’t classify it as a pudding, but a cake. It tasted like caramel, brown butter, and brown sugar. If you have a sweet tooth, this is a must. We had a lot more meals, but these were the highlights of the night. Thank you to all the kind and hardworking employees for creating a warm atmosphere.

I surprised my boyfriend with reservations to HK for Valentine’s Day because he’s a huge Gordon Ramsey fan. Mostly did this for the experience and bragging rights, but also because I’d been told the food was great by someone I know who’d dined here previously. Since it’s in Harvey’s we hung out and lost money at the casino before heading over to eat. Every single employee we interacted with were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the man who filled our waters was hilarious and enjoyable to talk to. Ordered 2 mocktails and, while I can’t remember the name, the blue one was SO GOOD! I got the filet mignon and my boyfriend got the beef wellington, both were perfectly cooked and the presentation was beautiful. We also got a side of brussel sprouts which were delicious and well portioned so we could share them. Because it was Valentine’s Day they brought us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries at the end of our meal, so cute and (of course) also delicious. We will definitely be coming back, everything about the experience was great. At the end of the meal our waitress let us know we could get our parking validated by the host before leaving, which I couldn’t appreciate more because it saved us the $25 parking fee.

Google
Everything exceeded expectation. The beef wellington is an absolute must have. The scallops, lobster risotto and sticky toffee pudding were also must try classics. It's pricey but the flavor and experience are so worth it.

Google
This was our first time at Hells Kitchen but it was exactly what I expected and a little more. The scallops were delicious and perfectly fresh and cooked. The beef Wellington as everyone else has raved was great and the sticky toffee pudding was everything I didn’t know I needed. The meal was perfect the staff were excellent. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for date night!

We had a fantastic experience at Hell's Kitchen, and I can't say enough about how incredible the evening was! We celebrated my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it extra special. From the personalized touches to the thoughtful service, every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and making us feel so welcome. Thank you for making my wife’s birthday an unforgettable celebration! We can’t wait to return

Yelp
Inconsistent cooking of my filet, in some areas it was not cooked at all. Service is very good and attentive. Not sure if I'll ever go back, you'd expect better when you spend $300+ for only two people dining.

Yelp
Food is terrific, but atmosphere has gone down hill as they have removed the bar and seems much more cafeteria like. Great server and service.

Logan S.

Yelp
Our server was amazing and handled our group of 7 with ease. Never had to ask for refills and they came around to check on us consistently, but not overbearing. The food I felt loved up to my expectations. The group I was with got a lot of different dishes but I ordered their dinner set list. Scallops were a tad underwhelming but still good. Not that much flavor in my opinion. The beef Wellington was the start. It's known for a reason. I was pretty hungry going into the dinner and left very full. I finished with sticky toffee pudding. One of the best I've had. For sure would come back or recommend.

Yelp
As Hell's Kitchen fans, my partner and I decided to come here for an early dinner. We were seated right away without a reservation and brought water. We ordered drinks, whiskey drink and mule, my partner liked the whiskey one but mine was way too sweet. So I asked for a glass of Chardonnay, it was very good and from a local vineyard. For apps, I got the salad and he got the scallops. The salad was slightly underwhelming (see photo) but seasoned well. Dinner for me was Mac n cheese sans prosciutto, and Brussels. Both dishes were excellent. They don't put breadcrumbs on the mac n cheese which I prefer, so it was nice and creamy with a good smoky flavor from the Gouda. The Brussel sprouts were AMAZING. The Fresno chilis added a nice kick. He enjoyed his welly but the portion is quite smaller than on television LOL Inside is clean and they have a front that looks like the show (red and blue sides) but a whole lot doesn't seem to be going on there. Maybe more of a garnish station. There is also construction outside the restaurant so the closed the curtains, which was nice. Overall, a decent meal with vegetarian options.

Yelp
We went here for dinner last Monday, February 10, for my Birthday!! Last year we were in this hotel for my birthday and they were in the process of building Gordon Ramsays kitchen and the fish and chips restaurant next-door. So I was excited to try Ramsey's kitchen, as I am a huge fan of him. I reserved a table on OpenTable on Yelp, and we were seated promptly at 5:30 PM. The Server Jeremy, was absolutely fantastic as was the guy going around with water. The service was fantastic, we wanted a few extra minutes before we ordered our food so we told him to wait about 20 minutes before he put our order in. We could've kicked ourselves, because we were there a couple hours early so we decided to have some appetizers and a cocktail at a local pub in the casino, and we wish we would not have done that, because Gordon's kitchen look like it had a ton of appetizers that we missed darn it. We will definitely go back and have just appetizers lol. I ordered a martini my son and husband ordered whiskey, and my daughter-in-law ordered a lemon drop Cocktail. I enjoyed our cocktails in about 20 minutes later our dinner arrived, we all ordered the wonderful beef Wellington, which was cooked medium rare absolutely too perfection. The potato purge and the root vegetables in the carrots were very good. The Demi glace was a little bit different for me for taste, but they all loved theirs.. Service and dinner was excellent.. Jermey disappeared after dinner as he told us he had a big table of people in the next room.. We did not need much after dinner, except pet dessert and after drinks... It took awhile to get served after that.. I got the Birthday portion of Sticky toffee pudding, which was absolutely delicious.... We also ordered the the Chocolate tart, well, well, well. What was that. Dessert about? Weird looking presentation , and what was with the chocolate part of it? It was not soft at all, the inside of tart, just had HARD MELTED CHOCOLATE CHIPS , it was not edible at all. What happened there? Us girls LOVE chocolate and imagine paying $$$$ for an inedible food item. All that dessert was, was a crust, melted chocolate that turned hard, a small spread of chocolate ganache, and whipped cream, we did not eat it.... That was strange. That needs some tweaking Mr. Ramsay!! It was a great night, looking forward to trying other menu items! It was a great Birthday!

Yelp
Made a reservation through open table and the whole process of getting our table ready was smooth. My partner and I ordered the following: - Seared Scallops: 5/5 slight Smokey flavor from the bacon on the top, and sauce paired well. Very soft and tender. - Tuna Tartare: 3/5. Lowkey tasted like any ordinary poke you would find . - Beef Wellington: 4/5. First couple of bites were very tender and slightly chewy, but I think you have to eat it fairly quickly to enjoy the texture/make sure it doesn't get too cold. - Rack of Lamb: 5/5. Perfectly seared edges, juicy, tender medium cooked bites and the sauces just help accentuate the flavors. The orange looking sauce had a curry/Mediterranean kick to it. Overall our favorite dish. - Side of Mac and Cheese: 2/5. Good filler - but that's about it. The fried prosciutto is just fancy bacon bits. 100% recommend the dessert wine flight. Might even try to find the whole bottle for a nice occasion. Kracher Beerenauslese Cuvee and the Inniskillin "vidal" icewine will be my go to. In terms of ambiance, seems like a fairly casual place for tourists/gambler winners to dine at.

Yelp
From the service to the dessert everything was spectacular. Lobster risotto was perfectly cooked and sweet with just enough truffle so it was not overpowering. Our daughter and I both ordered the New York (and had the perfect viscosity Bordelaise Sauce) and it was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly medium rare and daughters was perfect medium for her. The sauce paired beautifully with the steaks. Hubs got the pan seared Sea Bass and of course that was perfectly cooked and spectacular too with the sherry lobster cream sauce. For sides we ordered the Brussels which were to die for. The sweet with a hint of spice along with savory natural flavor of the Brussels were on point. The potato puree was really good too, super soft and creamy texture. We when we first sat down we ordered the Mac and cheese as we brought our granddaughter and she gets hangry so was very satisfied to enjoy while we started with drinks and appetizer that she wouldn't enjoy. With that, yes, we brought our 2 year old granddaughter and there were many other families with toddlers that night as well. It is loud enough with normal chatter that the kids never stood out. I'm glad we brought her. Her favorite steak is New York so I wish they would incorporate kid sized steaks, but they are large enough to share with a 2 year old and still have leftovers! Lastly, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is a must. It is the perfect finish to our perfect dinner. Dan was our server and he was spot on with knowledge of the menu items and describing flavors and recommendations. On a final note, I really like that they have 1/2 bottles of nice wines so I was not committed to an entire bottle. As for hand crafted cocktails and mocktails, give em a go, we had Lakeview Lemonade, Jaded in Paradise and finished with delicious coffee.

Yelp
Gordan Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen was delicious. The decor and ambiance was nice. Very warm feel and love the wine dividing parts of the dinning room and kitchen. The service was great. Ryan and Jose made our night complete with very accommodating service. I've been to the South Lake location and this place rivals. Some of the best food in Reno and in a casino. The food was on point as well as the service. Looking forward to my next sticky toffee pudding here.

Yelp
My bf and I celebrated our anniversary at Lake Tahoe and we decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Hell's Kitchen! Our server, Bo, was so attentive, helpful, and entertaining! She recommended things to us since it was our first time. Thank you so much for taking care of us! Always making sure our waters were filled and making sure we were enjoying our dinner. We started of with the Ahi Tuna and omg... it tasted so fresh and we loved the crunch from chips and the hint of spice from the peppers was a good touch. Moving towards to the entrees, my bf got the tomahawk steak and I got the beef Wellington. Surprisingly... we preferred each others meal lol. Idk why but the fat on the tomahawk was just so good! No complaints on the beef Wellington, I'm happy I tried out the classic main dish I always see from the show! Cooked at the perfect medium rare! As for dessert we got the Apple butterscotch cheesecake and Bo surprised us with an anniversary dessert! I think the anniversary dessert was bread pudding? Both desserts were just so good and sweet! I'll be honest, it was a bit confusing trying to locate where the restaurant was since there were only a few signs out.. you had to walk through a casino before getting there. Also from time to time, we heard the main chef yelling at someone but we didn't mind bc it's hells kitchen lol

Yelp
I had wanted to go to a HK! Happy to have found one in Tahoe. I was able to get a table same day. I was scheduled at 8:45pm got there early and they sat me right away. Yes it's pricy, but what do people expect? The servers were expended. They have someone defiling your water cup all the time. We ordered champagne and our server was constantly making sure our flute was always full. They have a prefix menu for $105 with a starter, main and dessert but we wanted to try different items than the prefix menu. I ordered the fillet mignon. Great charcoal flavored and cooked to perfection. Also the golden beet salad was perfect. Fresh and flavorful. I am excited to try different dishes next time I'm in another Hell's Kitchen :)

Emily W.

Yelp
The experience coming to hell's kitchen was pretty remarkable. Although it needs to be reservation at least at night before the host and the server are extremely pleasant to deal with very professional very friendly. Starter we have a pumpkin purée soup, it was incredible. The pumpkin was just paired so well with thebutter nut. The Caesar salad was also pretty good. I really like that cheese crust toppings. The salmon cooked to profession. And it tastes very good. Onto the Beef Wellington well surprisingly, it did not taste as good as I thought it would. The dessert of the chocolate cake with ice cream on top was just incredible. Although I did not like the chocolate truffle cake, it was a little bit overweight for my taste. Overall, it's an experience to have once a while. The services just top of the line. The food it's good but I expected to be 5 stars.

Anusha S.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of the Hell's Kitchen show so was very excited to dine at the Hell's Kitchen restaurant in South Lake Tahoe! We had placed a reservation for a party of four to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Sunday at 7:15pm about a week prior and there was a lot of availability then. This Hell's Kitchen is in Harvey's Resort so we parked in the Harvey's Resort parking garage which is conveniently connected to the resort and then took the elevator to the third floor to get to the restaurant. It took us about 5-10 minutes to walk from the parking garage to the restaurant itself. There is a fairly big HK sign outside the restaurant and we saw lots of people taking pictures by the sign. We got our parking validated by the host so did not have to pay for parking. We checked in with the host at our reservation time and were seated immediately. The inside of the restaurant is somewhat dark and in terms of crowd, it was busy but not super packed. There are a few TVs inside showing snippets from the Hell's Kitchen show and there is a picture of Gordon Ramsey as well. There is also a red kitchen and a blue kitchen. For drinks, I got the Spiced Mélange Punch, my friend got the Lake of the Sky, and two other friends split half a bottle of a red wine. We all liked our drinks! Can't go wrong with any of them. For food, I ordered off the vegetarian menu and got the Vegetable Truffle Risotto, Baked Mac and Cheese (got as an appetizer instead of side), and Sticky Toffee Pudding. One of my friends got the 3 course menu and chose the scallops, Beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. Two other friends split the Lobster Risotto and each got the Chicken Scallopini. Scallop: 5/5. My friend really liked their scallop appetizer. Said the bacon bits and the sauce was delicious. Lobster risotto: 4/5. My friends were underwhelmed by the lobster risotto and felt it lacked seasoning. They liked the lobster and thought it was cooked well. Mac and cheese: 3/5. I thought it was cooked well but it lacked seasoning. Added some black pepper and that helped. The portion size was very big so I was starting to get full after this. Beef Wellington: 5/5. Friend said it was cooked perfectly and would come back to Hell's Kitchen just for this dish. Said it looked small but it was filling. Chicken Scallopini: 4/5. Good portion size. Friends thought the chicken was cooked well and the sauce was delicious but they didn't like the potatoes it came with. The potatoes were on the bigger side and didn't feel like a part of the dish Vegetable truffle risotto: 4/5. On the smaller side in terms of portion size, but after the Mac and cheese I thought it was a good amount. It could have used more seasoning like pepper and spices/heat but I liked the mushrooms and crispy onions. Sticky toffee pudding: 5/5. It was most of our first times trying sticky toffee pudding and we really enjoyed it! The butterscotch ice cream it came with was delicious and paired nicely with the pudding. The pudding melted in my mouth - loved it! It is very sweet. The birthday girl got a small complimentary sticky toffee pudding! My friends said they would potentially come back just for the Beef Wellington but personally, I don't think I would return as I felt like the vegetarian dishes could have used more seasoning. Service was good and the ambiance was nice. I enjoyed dining here for the Hell's Kitchen experience!

Yelp
The business reported my last review...bunch of cry babies...so I will change it 1. I wrote Gordon Ramsey on all his social media about this location. The management is horrible. I am ASAIN...AND WE WERE SEATED ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK OF THE RESTAURANT AWAY FROM EVERYONE... We arrived early for service and there were only TWO other tables that had people seated at them and the hostess seats us all the way in the back segregated from everyone. I asked her to move us and she refused. Two more people came in after us and were seated in the front also. AGAIN..WHY WERE WE SEATED ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK AWAY FROM EVERYONE...AND CIULD NOT BE MOVED? What is the problem..there are so many open tables. Why not accommodate us? I know how management should be...and just the reviews of this place proves it is horrible. The hostess made me feel so bad..I will never be back again to this location... Additionally i have already posted videos of this all over social media and tagged Gordon. I love watching the show..I follow Gordon on social media and clearly this location has many bad reviews about the staff that He needs to know about. I encourage anyone who has a bad experience to reach out to Gordon on Social media and complain. This is a reflection of him...he needs to know. You have only 1 chance to keep a customer. With the other reviews I read..clearly it is a management problem. There are serious character flaws at this location...the reviews prove it. The horrific experiences some people have had...is so terrible...they should feel ashamed of themselves... hopefully for the sake of His business He fires some of the staff for the evil they have committed against the customers. I will certainly pray against the hostess today and ask the Lord to punish her. He saw everything. There are no accidents. I have seen my God shut down restaurants and businesses that are doing wrong. I did not get the name...the hostess tonight...you really should be ashamed of yourself.

Yelp
the $22 cocktails are worth it. the service is fast, it's clean, the food was good, scallops were cooked perfectly, and you have to ge the sticky toffee pudding

Dominic K.

Yelp
Unbelievably overpriced. It's delicious food, we had the lobster, scallops, beef wellington and all the favorites. Really well prepared and presented but clearly just marked up for the brand. You wouldn't accept these prices anywhere else. Service is top notch, everyone is friendly and quick. The worst part? It's tacky as "Hell". Cheap tables, menus, cutlery and everything except the prices Not worth it

Wendy F.

Yelp
Great food and great service! I got the 3 course meal, ordered the scallops, Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. After watching the show for many years, it was finally so exciting to try the Wellington. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and great to experience. Would recommend to try at least once!

Elena D.

Yelp
When visiting this area just had to try out this restaurant. It has a Relaxing ambiance. I ordered the lobster risotto, it was creamy and lobster was cooked perfectly, it was my favorite dish. The Dry aged New York steak was tender and seasoned well a must try. Oysters were definitely fresh. The dessert I would say was my favorite part, the chocolate cake with gelato was smooth, velvety and the perfect sweetness. Definitely will come back again.

John H.

Yelp
i finally got to hells kitchen at havers casino/hotel. I had the privilege of taking my mom here; since she has never experienced a fancy restaurant. I opted to get the 5 course chef meal for 165/person. the staffs were excellent especially our waitress.. i had a great time talking to her after each course, and i did ask her if the beef wellington were all that hype, and she said ababsolutely! I asked my mom which course she liked the best and she told me she enjoyed the ahi tuna tartare and the lollipop lamb. the only downside was tje interior. I wish the interior lighting was a bit brighter.. but overall our experience at hells kitchen was phenomenal!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Overall great dinner. The restaurant is very lively and fun- can be a little loud at times. Our server was great and things came out pretty timely considering how busy it was. Top dishes: wagyu meatballs, filet, short rib, lobster risotto, elote corn

Alexis M.

Yelp
We visited Hell's Kitchen for a friend's birthday with a group of 10, and we had such a great time! We made the reservation well in advance, and when we arrived, we were taken to a private area at the back of the restaurant. Our server, Walter, warmly greeted us, and I can't praise him enough for the exceptional service he provided. He truly made our experience unforgettable and I've never had service like that before! Walter was incredibly kind and attentive, and he made the evening special. The ambiance was great, with Gordon Ramsay shows playing in the background, and the open kitchen design really made it feel like we were part of the show. My partner and I ordered the lobster risotto, mac and cheese, and prime dry-aged New York strip. All the dishes were delicious, though my only complaint was the baked mac and cheese--it was a bit bland and could've used more seasoning. For the birthday celebration, they brought out a few sticky toffee puddings, which was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Overall, I had a fantastic experience.

Jake B.

Yelp
First Impressions (1/5) Unfortunately, our initial impression left a lot to be desired. Despite having a reservation and being assured we'd be seated on time, we ended up waiting; it seems that our table was given away. When we were finally shown to our seats, the table was still being cleaned and prepared. This was disappointing, especially at a well-regarded establishment like Hell's Kitchen. Service (3/5) Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and warm, which we appreciated. However, we had mentioned that we were celebrating my son's birthday in our reservation, yet this detail seemed to be overlooked. It wasn't acknowledged until we brought it up ourselves, which took away from the specialness of the occasion. Food (5/5) The food certainly lived up to its reputation! Every dish was beautifully prepared and tasted amazing, showcasing the skill in the kitchen and a commitment to quality. The flavor and presentation were spot on and truly the highlight of the evening. Overall Impression While the food and warmth of our server were memorable, the lack of attention to detail in seating, timing, and honoring our reservation made for a mixed experience. Given this, we decided to cancel a future reservation at the San Diego location and explore other high-end options that offer a more polished experience from start to finish.

Justin K.

Yelp
My expectations for Hell's Kitchen were actually not that high, but I ended up having a wonderful experience here. I really loved the design & ambiance of the location, brought back memories of watching the show! Our table shared the Pan-seared Scallops, lobster risotto and the baked mac & cheese. All of them were great! But the Mac & cheese has no business being that delicious. I had the roasted rack of lamb and it was absolute perfection! I had both the aloha spritz and notes from Gordon. I preferred the spritz! Staff were friendly and food came out reasonably. We arrived like 20mins early for our reservation and got sat immediately, which is always nice.

Ly L.

Yelp
Menu is pretty much same with other Ramsay restaurants. We had beef Wellington and as always it's very good. This dish and the toffee pudding dessert are my fav ! Service is alright.

Josh M.

Yelp
Overall, this place was a great choice for our Christmas Day dinner. I chose to have the pre-fix menu that started off with the scallops for appetiser, beef wellington for main course, and sticky toffee pudding for desert. We also ordered the lobster risotto and Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were drenched in sauce and did not taste good. The risotto was amazing. The salmon was quite fishy. Everything I had on the pre-fix menu was great , but my favorite was the desert. Very pricy for what you receive, so I recommend only coming here on special occasions. Well done.

Brandee M.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday night with reservations and got seated right away! Then I was greeted immediately. Our server was very knowledgeable and knew all of the items. As a fan of the show, I was very excited to try everything and boy I was not disappointed. The food came out promptly, it was all perfectly cooked- our drinks were good and I was very happy with everything. The upgrades were a little pricey but you are paying for the brand of Gordon Ramsay. It wasn't too loud in there and wasn't too full but I think it was just the time of year. The servers, runners and everyone we encountered was really nice and I was very happy with my experience. I will be back!!

Valerie A.

Yelp
I visited Hell's Kitchen once before, right before COVID started, and it was a little underwhelming. But we decided to take a chance and come back to celebrate our anniversary there, and I'm so glad we did. We started with the lobster risotto - this time the risotto was warm and it was absolutely delicious. The butter-poached lobster tail was cooked perfectly and I loved the little fried onions on top. For dinner, I had the beef Wellington and my husband the NY Strip steak. My Wellington was by far the best I've ever had - the crust, the sauce, the temp on the steak - everything was perfect. My husband had the NY strip and he loved it too. He was especially impressed by the way the chefs rendered the fat. He left absolutely nothing on his plate. In fact I probably should have a taken pictures of our empty plates because they were almost spotless. Maybe a couple garnish leaves were all that was left. For dessert they brought the Sticky Toffee pudding with kissing candles and it was amazing. My husband was a little cranky that he didn't get his own and our server, Ian, surprised him with another small serving for him. Ian was great throughout and we really enjoyed our evening. I do wish the place looked a little more elegant. It still kind of looks like a casino coffee shop with a fancy kitchen.

Yelp
It's been awhile since we have been here and we were not particularly thrilled to go again but so glad we did. They have revamped the menu and drinks! Our cocktails were amazing and unique. We both ended up getting the specials...king crab legs and A5 steak. Absolutely amazing and our server was incredible as well. So glad we stopped by for dinner.

Yelp
This is our second time at HK and we love that they remodeled and expanded the restaurant! The service is always great, server is friendly, knowledgeable and follows up. The food comes out on time without delays. We had the beef Wellington- it was done perfectly. Medium rare in the middle, pastry was thin and crispy. Lobster risotto with a side of truffle is highly recommended. The lobster and risotto melts in your mouth, the chef shaves the Italian truffle at the table. Quinoa salad was light and refreshing. A must try! Special menu wagu beef was disappointing. The beef was tender and done just right, but it was dry and no sauce, maybe that's how it was intended. The sides of fingerling potatoes were plated whole, baked, just salt and pepper- something I could have done at home. Same with the mushrooms, sliced and sautéed and scooped on the plate like I would at a home. The presentation did not have any thoughts to it and was disappointing. Regardless, it was a positive experience and would return to try something new!

Yelp
This is an absolutely fabulous restaurant. I was a little skeptical when I realized it was in the casino, but they definitely did not disappoint. We had booked our reservation and were seated right on time. It was really slow in the restaurant, but that was perfect for us because it felt like we had so much attention. The ambience is beautiful very thought out very on brand. As for the food... Out of this world, the lobster risotto is delectable. I literally wish it was an entrée so I could have more- the lobster perfectly cooked, and the risotto was seasoned to perfection. It was absolutely delicious. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the Wellington omg the Wellington. This is definitely what we came for and We're excited to try. It did not disappoint. The flavor was absolutely perfect. The puff pastry was crisp, and the meat was tender again seasoned to perfection. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Would we ever come back? Absolutely we are not idiot sandwiches

Yelp
Thnx for accepting us with open arms when Wolf was being too obnoxious 2 weeks into their grand opening! We were seated right away with no reservations, it looked like it was more happening here anyway compared to the open seats at Wolf (claiming reservations only). Anywho, my espresso martini was delish. And TY for having foie gras, I've missed it so much (stupid Cali ban). Wagyu meatballs, beef wellington, and lobster risotto were nicely presented and tasty. Service was good although we were all too enamored by our conversations at the table to really notice anyway. All good in Hell! Thnx, Ramsay!

Yelp
I'd been wanting to check out this place for a while, and it didn't disappoint! The vibes were pretty good, and we made sure to reserve in advance. We were on a group ski trip and also celebrating a friend's big accomplishment (getting into vet school), and the staff was so kind to give us a complimentary mini sticky toffee pudding as a little celebration treat! Such a sweet gesture and much appreciated. As for the food: The lobster risotto was so flavorful and absolutely perfect. Definitely a standout dish. I ordered the beef wellington, and while it was okay, I'd probably go for something else next time. The sticky toffee pudding was a solid hit. Service was on point, and overall, it was a great experience. I'd definitely come back, just to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Another amazing birthday celebration dinner with my girlfriend and husband. Patty was our server. She was very attentive and friendly. They opened the expansion of the restaurant in July. I like the Hell's Kitchen decor concept. We enjoyed a dozen of oysters with the side dipping sauces. The Wagu meatballs were a big hit! My husband gobbled them up and kept raving about them. We will definitely order them again. Our entrees included the Braised Short Ribs which were tender and full of flavor. The Crispy Skin Salmon was cooked to perfection. The Pan Seared Sea Bass was mouth-watering... flakey and juicy. Lastly, we ordered a side of roasted corn... thumbs up! Patty surprised us with a birthday dessert. Sticky Toffee pudding with Ice Cream. YUM! I recommend dining here if you're a Gordon Ramsey fan.

Yelp
Often at times, you don't want some big sit down meal..just a cocktail and a few bites....they finally built in an expanded bar for such an experience and we could not be happier. Sat at a cozy spot in the bar and got treated like gold by the ladies who were working the bar...I opted for a rose from France..very dry, very nice while hub got a mocktail, blue meadow. We decided to get the meatballs appetizer...this had 5 meatballs quite big with polenta bites in it..it was marvelous!! We got a side of mash with it, always good and ended with the sticky toffee pudding. Ramsay's best puddings are found in his Hell's Kitchen restaurants..bar none...and this was just as amazing as I remember.... It was so good to just eat some light bites and still get the great service and food from Gordon Ramsay...I will definitely be back!!!

Yelp
Service was faaaaast and the food definitely exceeded my expectations too. I have always wanted to dine at Hells Kitchen because I'm a big GR fan & I see him make the dishes we ordered on tv all the time. So tasting it in real life was surreal. Definitely going back and trying the other dishes on the menu

Yelp
I've heard mixed reviews, but i was very satisfied with the quality of food. My friends and i were celebrating a birthday and we had a small private room to ourselves. It fit us perfectly inside. I wasn't too fond with how loud the music was inside so it was difficult to have a conversation, but overall it was a great experience. The staff told us they will no longer have that room open for guests, itll be turned into a storage room. I did the Prix Fixe Signature Menu which is definitely worth the money. The items i ordered are: Pan Seared Scallops (5/5); Woww, this blew my mind. It just melts in your mouth and was full of flavor. Definitely a must try! Beef Wellington (5/5): This was my first time trying Beef Wellington and this was so worth it. I was a bit uneasy because i've heard it wasn't as good as it used to be. But let me just tell you.. This was soo good. So tender, So flavorful. Worth every bite. Sticky Toffee Pudding (5/5): I'm not a huge dessert person, but i could eat this all by myself. It's sweet but not too sweet. It really was amazing! Crispy Skin Salmon (5/5): I ordered this as an additional entree on top of the Prix Fixe Menu. This did not disappoint. The skin was really crispy and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Not to mention, it was seasoned very well. I highly recommend this restaurant. I believe it's so worth it. All the dishes, let alone drinks, were amazing. It really did blow my expectations.

Yelp
What an easy 5/5 Review! The lobster Risotto was insanely favorable and perfect. The beef Wellington was cooked to absolute perfection. Mac and Cheese was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding left you craving more. Service was friendly and attentive. Great ambiance inside. Definitely the premier dining spot in Lake Tahoe

Yelp
Hell's Kitchen has been on my list to try for the longest time because of the famous Beef Wellington! To start, I got the Secret Cove cocktail which was really good! It didn't taste like there was a lot of alcohol but I was feeling it by the end of dinner! The Beef Wellington was just as I expected! The mashed potatoes were perfectly creamy and smooth. The Wellington was cooked to perfection and I liked the mushroom duxelle inside. The sticky toffee pudding was very sweet and rich but a great ending to the meal. The restaurant was very busy, so definitely recommend making reservations. The ambiance was great and it was fun imagining Hell's Kitchen being filmed. My only knock was our food took 45+ minutes, which I understand the restaurant was busy but seemed a bit long still.

Yelp
Ambience is okay, not as nice as the one in Vegas but you can still see the red and blue colors etc. beef Wellington yesterday was disappointing, crust is not flaky and beef inside doesnt have any flavor. Their lobster risotto and sticky tofee pudding is always on point and good tasting. Their wagyu meatballs also did not disappoint. Service is like any normal restaurant, nothing special or spectacular.

Yelp
Only IF you really want to try the beef wellington would I come here. Let's start with the pros... Beef wellington Tomato and Burrata salad (a must) Service... amazing! Everyone was really friendly and on top of it. Amazing staff! Now for the cons... Everything else. Other items we had were subpar and for the price just truly not worth it. We waited an insanely long amount of time before getting our main course, altho the apps and salads were quick. The price in general. Laslty- I didn't eat my dinner at all. My salad came out twice with dressing after I asked for it on the side. Chicken tasted like Costco frozen chicken with extra salt. At that point I was done. I realize this is for the experience, so if you do have this on your bucket list please keep it simple and stick to what Gordon does best- and leave the kids at home.

Yelp
Delicious! I have always heard about Gordon Ramsay's famous Beef Wellington and finally got to try it. I'm glad the hype met my expectations. I ordered the 3 course HK signature prix fixe menu. I started with the Pan Seared Scallops. I'm not a huge scallop fan, but I didn't want the other choice of a Caesar Salad. I thought the scallops were pretty good but wouldn't go out of my way to order them if it weren't for the prix fixe menu. But my friends seemed to really enjoy them. Now to the stars of the show. The main dish, Beef Wellington! Just wow and cooked to perfection. Every bite was amazing. I loved the tenderness and flavor. It was very filling, but I ate it all it was so good. Sticky Toffee Pudding was for dessert. Oh my goodness, I didn't expect to love it so much! The warm sticky toffee paired with the ice cream on top was amazing! A large portion, too. You could share it with someone. Beef Wellington was great, but wow, the Sticky Toffee Pudding stole the show for me. I'm a big sweet dessert person and I really enjoyed it. I actually crave to go back for the dessert more than the Beef Wellington, haha. Service was great and as expected of an expensive restaurant. The restaurant is small and very busy, so you definitely need reservations. I did notice an outside bar counter open toward the casino. It looked like those seats were first come, first serve I think like the regular bar. It was expensive but an overall great foodie experience. I'd say definitely should try at least once in life since spending $100+ just for one person's meal is a lot. Or at least stop by just for some Sticky Toffee Pudding. Currently writing this, I could definitely go for some right now.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I stopped here for a fixed menu. The food was excellent, with the Wellington being my favorite dish. The scallops were good but didn't stand out. The dessert, in my opinion, was too heavy. I'd appreciate some lighter or a choice of options. I appreciated their wine selection and particularly enjoyed The Walking Fool from Caymus Winery, which paired well with the meat and its salty flavor. However, I was disappointed by the ambiance. Unlike the Vegas location, this one lacks a pleasant dining atmosphere. It's hard to explain, but despite the good food, this place doesn't make me want to return.

Yelp
We wanted to try this restaurant and the only time left was at 9:15 ( which is the last seating ). From the moment we checked in everyone were friendly and helpful. They don't rush us to order, even though they close at 9:30. Service was excellent and great food and great cocktail. My favorite is beef wellington. My 2nd favorite is the chicken dish. Save room for dessert. Loves the panacota.

Yelp
Went here on a Wednesday night as a walk in. Was able to get a table in the dinning room area. Quick professional service. We went here two years ago, they have remolded the place. Food was good, a little pricey. Overall satisfied, but won't be in too much of a hurry to return with so many other options available

Yelp
Helpful tip: Make reservations especially during peak tourist season. Overall experience was good. Service was great. I wanted the food to be spectacular it was good just wasn't great. As a fan of the show, Hell's Kitchen, and having watched the season where they picked the head chef for this location, I guess I had high expectations. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The fried shallots (?) on top made for a nice crunch. My lobster risotto was ok. The lobster was slightly overcooked and was a bit rubbery. The risotto itself was great. The beef Wellington was good but I think my friends short ribs were better The star of the show in my opinion was dessert. Sticky toffee "pudding" more like a very light moist cake but sooo good.

Yelp
My wife and I have never tried Hell's Kitchen before even though we see it all the time. Finally, we decided to give it a shot in Tahoe. We had to go ahead and try out the famous beef Wellington, I think I had too high of an expectation for it. The beef was tender but I did not really like the flavor it was seasoned with. My wife really enjoyed the mashed potatoes(forgot to take pictures), so we ordered a side of that. The Caesar salad was delicious and I loved the texture of the Parmesan. The macaroni and cheese was a little bit over the top in my opinion and was just too heavy to finish. I think overall, the stars were the Caesar salad and the fancy mashed potatoes. Service was awesome! Our server was patient and very personable. The staff were quick to refill our waters and take away our empty plates. It was a nice experience to try out but definitely expect items to be pricey!

Yelp
Hell's Kitchen is one of those restaurants where I will give it a try once and not care to go back again. Here's why: 1. I can get similar food elsewhere for the same quality or better for half the price. 2. The portion of food items are too small for what they are worth. 3. The menu does not have a lot to choose from. 4. There wasn't a dish that stood out. In terms of service, it was great. The waiter came around a few times and we never had to wait long for the next thing like the dessert and the check. It was a nice little restaurant with a good feel to it. My husband and I went on a Monday evening and it was not too busy. The food did meet my expectations. I thought everything was good. Flavoring was perfect with the dishes that we ordered (see photos). The Sticky Toffee Pudding, though soft and moist, was way too sweet. That must have been what that gave me a stomach ache. One thing I must say that was a little ridiculous is the oysters. They were the tiniest and smallest oysters I have ever seen. They were the size of a baby spoon. Totally not worth it.

Yelp
Went here with my 15 year old cousin who is just obsessed with this show. My little sister is picky and they were able to literally make her 4 shrimps and it cost $30?! This place has outrageous prices but the food is OK. Wish Gorda Ramsey was actually here but he is in the Philippines. The waitress is... Nice - ish

Yelp
Came to Hell's Kitchen on a Friday night just for dessert. We quickly got sat down and asked to sit at the bar since we only wanted one thing only! The sticky toffee pudding :) I got the hibiscus sour cocktail and it was delicious and refreshing. I got the sticky toffee pudding and it is ssoo delectable, sweet, and rich. Wish there was there more ice cream to better portion the amount of pudding you get but otherwise amazing. The server was really nice and quick service! It seemed busy inside the restaurant and there were enough seats at the bar too. Nice view from the bar too since you can see the "hot" and "cold" ambiance.

Yelp
I am a huge Gordon Ramsay fan. I have been watching his shows for decades and I have been a fan of HK since its very first season. After nearly 20 years, I finally got the chance to try one of his locations a week ago in Lake Tahoe. It was everything I had hoped for and more! As far as the food goes, I think there's no surprise here that it was phenomenal. When you go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, you know you're going to be given a certain tier of food quality, taste, ambiance, service, etc. My girlfriend and I went here and ordered the Beef Wellington, Rack of Lamb, Seared Scallops, and Sticky Toffee pudding. I ordered the Beef Wellington with Gordon's Special Addition (foie gras and lobster on top). All of the food was exceptional. The Wellington and Toffee pudding are just as good as everyone else says. The restaurant itself was very cool. I did not know what to expect going into the restaurant, but I had hoped that I would see two open kitchens with the colors and staff like in the show. While there was an open kitchen, you only got to see the two chefs running the pass up front (one for each "team"). You don't get to see the inner workings and all the chefs preparing things in the back. But aside from that, the restaurant is beautiful like every GR restaurant. This was my girlfriend and I's first trip to Lake Tahoe but we will surely return again. And since I am such a big fan of Gordon Ramsay's, I'm sure we'll come back to HK.
