Fine dining is all about the experience. You're paying not just for premium food, although that certainly factors into it, but also the grandeur, the little touches, the extra mile. Thankfully, Gordon Ramsay Steak delivered a five star culinary adventure that other eateries should take a page from.
The second you enter, you're transported to a place of quiet luxury, an awe inspiring opulence that sees the entire restaurant staff working together seamlessly to provide you with an unforgettable high end escape from the ordinary.
The menu boasted all the usual offerings that you would expect from a steakhouse, with the only difference being the spike in price because of the Gordon Ramsay name. Naturally, his signature Beef Wellington had pride of place on the menu as the first entrée listed.
Overall, the food was decadent and elevated (Not with mint, thank goodness. If you know, you know LoL). Particular standouts were the oh so tender Pork Belly and gigantic Crab Cake which were both orgasmic.
Let's be clear, you are paying for the privilege of eating at a television personality's high class establishment, so naturally, there's opportunity for photo ops with Ramsay's neon likeness, the perk of a starting amuse-bouche, and a manager who wanted to ensure that even our table lamp was working correctly.
More importantly though, you are shelling out top dollar for professional, attentive service. Thankfully, we lucked out and had an amazing server, Michael, who was exceptionally phenomenal for the duration of our visit.
Menu expertise, constant water refills, clearing plates and tidying up the table after every dish takes a lot of effort, especially while balancing it with being both competent and personable. Michael handled it all with charm, efficiency, the patience of a Saint, and a dollop of much appreciated humor. We got the VIP treatment from him and it made all the difference. Request Michael's section if you can, as I guarantee you will be treated like royalty.
Those who have doubts about dining here, I assure you this isn't Hell's Kitchen, it's Heaven's Dining Room.
