Yelp
It's a great option for Nepalese cuisine and they have a bar upstairs (but didn't try the bar). Meaning you can have drinks with your food, which doesn't happen at all the Nepalese restaurants in this area. So if that's your thing, then maybe this is the place for you.
Once again, don't sleep on this place.
Seating-downstairs and a bar upstairs.
Ambience- medium sized restaurant, sort of hole in the wall vibes, but again in the best possible way.
Service- The owner's homestyle food is pretty great and if you want legit/traditional Nepalese cuisine then this place is for you. It's quite phenomenal. The young men and women that run the place are
kind and polite.
Food-Thali is good. Definitely get it. It is authentic Nepalese cuisine you will find on this side of Roosevelt. I also wish she would expand and come to manhattan.
veg chow mein-show stopper if you like it hot, and we do. if you don't like spicy cuisine then maybe ask them if they can make it less spicy because it's hot and if Im saying it that says something. Jhol- love it, again right amoutn of heat and sour and momos are fresher than other places.
Price-average/v. reasonable for what you are getting.
Can not emphasize enough to come here and try it out by yourself, with a group on a date, whatever you want. Just make sure you don't sleep on this tiny little slice of Nepal hidden on the quiet side of Roosevelt.
Let me know what you get?
