Ideal for any one and everyone, spectacular mountain train journey, Zermatt to the Gornergrat summit. some of the most breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, including the iconic Matterhorn. The journey takes around 33 minutes and offers panoramic views of forests, alpine meadows, and glaciers. The train is clean, comfortable, and offers large panoramic windows for maximum visibility. At the summit, you get an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. A half-day visit is ideal, but you can easily spend more time exploring the area.

It was an amazing experience with breathtaking scenery. The seats were comfortable, and the train ride uphill offered beautiful views of the Matterhorn. For the best mountain views while ascending, be sure to sit on the right side of the train.

Great, but a little expensive ride on a rack and pinion railway. It winds back and forth up the hillside giving good views over Zermatt as it rises up to the great viewing area to get good pictures of the Mattahorn. It is well worth the trip for the amazing vista that awaits you at the top.

It was a great experience with spectacular views. Comfortable seats and really nice train ride going up with scenic views of Matterhorn. When you are going up take seats on your right side to get nice clear view of the mountains.

Amazing place to enjoy the landscape the Alps all around. Having a drink with a wonderful indoor and outdoor view, enjoy the sunset behind the Matterhorn or go for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. Amazing place to be.

Well. I arrived in Zermatt yesterday and fallen in love with the area. Sadly this tourist trap has put a sour taste in my mouth. At least I can say I tried it. If you pre book a priority ticket please read the small print and get there early. You have to be in the boarding area 15 minutes before departure time as the gates close 10 minutes early. (Read the small print on a the website) not the ticket. Views are great though being this time of year June the is lots of maintenance works going on. On the way down. The is no crowds control AT ALL. Quick tip take boxing gloves bit a bouncer to get back on the train. #Freeforall Also because of the stampede this is rife for pick pockets. I caught a lady with her hands in my pocket. They got off at the first stop and walked back up. (This was reported to the ticket office)

Absolutely amazing journey and experience! Must do thing in Zermat. The railway system is so amazing and punctual, such an engineering marvel. Awestruck in terms of the views and the way it is run. Clean, well managed and organised by all means. This mountain railways system has multiple stops as you go up and it is better to sit on the right side on ascent for better views. Book your tickets in advance to get skip the queue separate entry point. Just loved it!
