The food was good. The meal I ordered in particular could have used a little salt, and of course, everything is expensive. Just my opinion, but I think they are a little too proud of their ramen to charge $15+ a bowl but my girls were happy, so overall the experience was pretty cool.

Google
I’ve been to Goro quite a few times. My current order is the spicy ramen with chicken meatballs and extra eggs. It’s a 9/10. It’s really cute in there, especially at night. I love the moody look with all the lights and that stunning mural! They have really strong drinks if you’re into that. They have tasty apps too. I’ve never had memorable service (hence the 4 stars), but the food will keep me coming back.

Google
Really delicious ramen! This was my first visit to the new location and I liked the outdoor seating. We got the coconut shrimp for a starter and it’s amazing. For the ramen I chose spicy miso and it was perfection. The spice level wasn’t overpowering and all the elements went so nicely together. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Atmosphere and service was great! Highlight of my meal was the coconut shrimp appetizer. The Bartender Sam also made one of the best old fashioned I’ve had.

Erica Leveille

Google
The Tori Paitan ramen was next-level delicious—the kind of broth that makes you question every other bowl of ramen you’ve ever had. I’m talking rich, flavorful, drink-it-straight amazing. And this is coming from someone who would normally write love letters to Brussels sprouts (my favorite veggie ever). As good as they were—and they were crispy, savory perfection—the ramen still stole the show. I’ll 100% make the 1 hour and 20-minute drive just to relive this flavor bomb. Worth every mile. Yuuummmm.

Google
Listennnnnn! 10/10 The staff was kind! The food was fast, fresh and delicious! Vegan options were amazing and the desert - chefs kiss! Will be back!!!!

Google
This place is amazing if you love Ramen! The eggs are so flavorful, the food delectable and the staff is warm and welcoming. Make sure to book a reservation if you’ll be going during peak hours they are very popular!

Google
To be honest this is my most favorite place and it been two years since the last time we been here so before we headed back south I had to stop by and bring my little family, everything was amazing, food, service, is the best.

Yelp
My husband and I have probably eaten here a handful of times and would love to say the food is always superb. We especially love the Nikuman Pork Belly the best that we had to order it twice! Definitely a 5 out of 5 service, special mentioning Nathan who went far and beyond. And ambiance is for sure very clean and has a good vibes! Definitely coming back

Yelp
Goro is tucked in the vibrant Paseo Arts District in OKC, and it's got the kind of cool, laid-back vibe you'd expect from the area. My friends and I stopped by one evening since it was was one of the few spots without a crazy wait. We were seated right away, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Brussel Sprouts and the Tori Paitan Ramen. Both came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The Brussels were a standout - perfectly crips with a flavor combo that really hit. The ramen was rich, filling, and tasty, thought I've had a few bowls I liked more in the city. Still, it held its own. Overall, Goro delivered a solid experience with great service and food that's definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Easily the best ramen I've had in any Oklahoma metro area. Tonight I went for the yasai vegan bowl with extra tofu and a chili bomb, and the classic Tori paitan with chili bomb. Vegan ramen is hard to impress me with, but this place nails it. It doesn't hide the fact that it's fully vegan. It embraces the umami mushrooms, sweet and acidic tomatoes, and aromatic onions and shallots while also still having a great fattiness to the broth. I can always tell when my bowl is from Goro because of the craftsmanship and flavors. It feels different and refreshing from all other places that serve ramen.  Also failed to include a photo of the Japanese whiskey highball! Goro has one of the only places with a machine to make these high balls with carbonation equivalent to champagne. Every drink, every appetizer, and every dish I've had I've loved. It's always a joy to come back whenever I'm in town!

Yelp
I'd been here before but this is the first time we ate. Wasn't sure of things but after looking the menu over my wife ordered the kiddie ramen. Just chicken broth and noodles. I ordered the spicy miso. It had fried shallots, corn, noodles, sliced scallions, roasted garlic miso, menma, ajitama, goma, negi, half a hard boiled egg and 3 nice spicy pork meatballs. We also ordered an app of coconut shrimp nikuman. It was a large coconut shrimp, cabbage medley, togarashi mayo, mustard vinaigrette and cilantro on a Japanese steamed bun. The coconut shrimp came out right away and was amazing. You could taste all the flavors followed by a kick of the cilantro. The ramen bowls were great. My wife's was a little plain and needed some salt but she did order the kids version. Mine had a nice kick of spice in everything. Had to make sure it was cool to pick up my bowl and finish the broth. It was just fine. Even got a chuckle out of my server. The service was very good. A little slow when we first got seated but after tht it was all good. They have 2 full service bar areas with seating around 3 sides for eating as well. Very nice Asian flair to the decor and ambiance. Definately will go back. The prices were pretty reasonable.

Yelp
My experience at Goro was nothing short of amazing. The service was prompt and attentive, the ambiance was relaxing and pleasant, and the food was great! I tried their special Birria ramen, and I loved the flavors and taste. It was an interesting fusion dish with unique flavors that I've never tasted before. Some say the food is on the pricier side but when it comes to portions and quality I believe it's worth the price. They're also open later than most restaurants, so if you're out late and want a hearty bite, Goro is the place to go! And, be on the lookout for their monthly ramen specials that are only available on Mondays!

Yelp
I came here for a Sunday dinner with my family. I usually opt for the spicy miso & it was great per usual. The service was a little off --our server (who was also the bartender) didn't get our order right & didn't come check on us very much. If service was better, it would have been 5 starts instead of 4. Ambiance was great, it was busy but still enjoyable.
google avatar

April K.

Yelp
The food is not up to par in my opinion when comparing to Tamashi or Tatsumaki. Service was fine and the decor was nice. Just a let down since we have experienced the other two places that we like much better.
google avatar

Tyshawn ..

Yelp
Food is spectacular. The wings are a bit spicy so if you love a hint of heat those are a must. The spicy miso is amazing, get extra egg and extra meatballs, enough to serve two. The service and the vibes are amazing, If you love ramen, you'll love Goro!

Tyler T.

Yelp
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! The food quality is not even close to this insane 200% profit price the owners seem to be greedy with these prices. There are much better quality ramen places for half or even a third of the price. Do not come here.
google avatar

Mya R.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots! The Spicy Miso Ramen is my go to and I tried the Tokyo Hot Chicken this time. Chefs Kiss. The food was delicious and was served fast yet fresh. The only issue we ran into were that the host doesn't seem to want to sit people at tables? Not sure what that's about. There were 4 open tables in the establishment (even when others had just been sitting there) but they really insisted on me and my friend sitting at the bar. As someone that doesnt drink its kind of annoying.
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
I think I'm just picky. I got the kare (curry) mazemen: noodles had a great texture, but the curry was too salty for me. Chicken in the curry was good though (probably from a boiled chicken drumstick). Was kinda pricey imo. My friend got the yasai (veg) ramen, which she enjoys each time she comes. We were immediately seated (party of 2) at 2:30pm on a Saturday. The decor is nice, and they keep the restaurant very cool (probably so you're not sweating while eating hot broth ramen).
google avatar

Teresa L.

Yelp
The ramen was so good. The service was great and I love the decor. The restaurant has private seating and community seating. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and had no issues finding parking. The Paseo district is really cute but it was super hot so we didn't walk around much. We were seated immediately at the bar and ordered the spicy miso, tori paitan and shared the chicken karaage. I got the matcha lemonade as well. The lemonade tasted like plain lemonade and not much of a matcha flavor but the chicken karaage was super crunchy and the sauce was good. It wasn't oily and tasted fresh! The tori paitan ramen was good and the broth wasn't super heavy. The toppings went well but I think the pork belly was a little too tough and could've been more tender. My boyfriend didn't like the meatballs in his miso ramen that much but he finished most of the bowl! Overall it was a decent choice for ramen in OKC and the price was on par with other choices in the area.
google avatar

Tim T.

Yelp
Update review where I got the chicken paitan ramen, pork belly Bao, Brussels sprouts and the parfait dessert - along with the Thai tea ice cream and vanilla bean ice cream with strawberry sauce. The hot honey chicken katsu that is a special now was incredible - sweet and spicy and also served with daikon radishes. Service was also excellent and attentive, and the ambiance is very cool. Highly recommended ramen spot in OKC - they really should try and add tsukemen, it would be very popular!

Vanessa H.

Yelp
The food was delicious, service was great given we stayed past closing time but the servers were so nice, the vibes were so cool, the lighting was the best part for me!!
google avatar

Alyssia C.

Yelp
Starting off, parking was hard to find. We each ordered the Tori Paitan, there was blue string seared into part of the pork belly. The noodles weren't very good, they were thick and clumped together. The egg was delicious but you only get half an egg. The price is too steep for the quality of food, do not recommend. Giving 2 stars because the egg was good. If you want good ramen, the best we have found is Tatsumaki in Norman. The second best so far is Meiji Experience Japan in Midwest City. Although I do give Meiji the top spot for atmosphere.

Yelp
Love going for a quick bite to Gorō! Very peaceful. I always come read my books and drink hot sake at the bar top! Great staff very attentive. Will be back OKC!
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
Goro is one of the best Ramen spots in OKC. Spicy miso always delivers and a nice Japanese highball cocktail pairs well. Service is always great, and the dark ambiance is very cool.
google avatar

Yelp
Good ramen spot in OKC that often gets very busy for lunch and dinner. Sometimes we have to be on a waitlist for a table or bar seat to open up, but they usually try to get us in as quickly as possible. Service is hit or miss depending on how short staffed they are that day. Tables are seated close to each other, so it often feels crowded and cramped. The Chicken Kara-age and Tebasaki are our favorite appetizer items to order because of the crispy, crunchy, and savory flavor of the Japanese style fried chicken. The Spicy Miso Ramen has a hot, spicy broth that is a great choice on a cold winter day to warm you up. The Chilled Ramen is actually a solid choice to get on a hot summer day due to it being brothless, cool, and refreshing so that you avoid breaking out in a sweat. We started going here 5 years ago back when it was located in the Plaza District, but now it changed to a new location in the Paseo District, which is only a couple miles away.

Salman A.

Yelp
We have been going to this place often since they had their old location, and every time we have visitors to the states this place most be one of the choices. The food is very tasty, the style is unique, the atmosphere is cozy. it's really a good place for having some quality time. However, our last visit last week was really disappointing and embarrassing. We were having our guests there and the place was just disgusting. it was full of flies everywhere. We called the waiter for it and the more disgusting thing was his answer " sorry, there is nothing we could do about it and unfortunately you guys got the worse spot in the restaurant which has the most" I really hope that this matter get more attention and require inspection.
google avatar

Karene C.

Yelp
This has to be the best ramen in OKC. We went midday and there were only a few servers. We sat at the bar and noticed the bartender also had numerous tables outside the bar area. Even with that, she was great. We never waited. The ramen was cooked to perfection and I'm so glad we were able to try the catfish karage while it was on special.
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
First time trying the ramen and the chicken karaage and my friend and I loved the chicken appetizer especially with the sauce! So addicting. As for the main course, I tried the spicy ramen and I thought the broth lacked a bit of flavor. I even tried to add some spice with the garlic spice bomb but overall was not my favorite in the city.
google avatar

Summer F.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at Goru! I was so surprised that I was going to find delicious ramen here in OKC being from California and spending a lot of time in Japan. The ramen broth was incredibly flavorful and delicious, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the atmosphere made it even better. Although, meatballs in ramen is not traditional I still enjoyed it as it was packed with flavor. Highly recommend this spot for a date night or a place to go with friends!
google avatar

Lizabeth Y.

Yelp
Ok this place has officially been marked as my top ramen spot! Came for lunch on a Thursday for a party of three. THEY DO NOT SEAT UNTIL YOUR WHOLE PARTY IS THERE. And they don't really have a waiting area except for the space between the door and the host stand. Anyways, we got sat and was greeted by such a kind waitress, I didn't get her name and my receipt doesn't show it either... but she took her time to answer our questions and give recommendations. We ordered two appetizers, the TEBASAKI (chicken wings) and Tokyo Hot Chicken (drumsticks). The drumsticks were good and the dang chicken was pretty big!! The wings? ORDER THEM. CRIPSY. FLAVOR. DELICIOUS. Don't need to say more. Period. Family member had the spicy miso and he ATE THAT UP. I had the tori paitan and I thought it was good! THE EGG WAS BOMB. Pork belly were some thick slices! I would say the broth may need to be more savory but daaaaang I'd come back!! Go try the wings and lmk.

Yelp
Food Service Ambiance, all excellent! Food Service Ambiance, all excellent! Food Service Ambiance, all excellent!

SheVonna B.

Yelp
I cannot find one bad thing about this place! Everything we had was pure amazing. The server was great. I can't remember her name but she was top tier! We opted to sit outside and the views were great. We even had great conversation with the people next to us. All in all top tier ramen hands down. I will be back!
google avatar

Hyunju C.

Yelp
Very authentic broth with nice flavor! I think this place is by far the best Japanese noodle soup you can find in Oklahoma state.
google avatar

Anitra T.

Yelp
Goro is my go to spot when I want to have a comforting meal, but don't want to eat too heavy! The chicken kaarage and spicy miso are always going to be apart of my order. When I'm feeling super snacky, I also add an order of nikuman (steamed buns). They usually have some monthly feature that is always so flavorful and full of excitement. You can check their IG for whatever the ramen feature is for the month. On the busy nights, you will want to snag a reservation or opt to sit at the bar. Make sure to bring a jacket because it's always freezing cold.
google avatar

Haley M.

Yelp
I've been coming here for ramen since they first opened years ago. One of my go to ramen spots. Service is always speedy and the patio is so cozy!
google avatar

Aja L.

Yelp
Beautiful, hip, modern Amazing food and great service. I came on a date and was impressed with the decor, friendly waitstaff (kept filling our waters even after we paid and hung around a little), and amazing food with large portions. I'll definitely come back here again! It's a great place for all - family dinners, date nights, and a spot to drink with friends.

Bria B.

Yelp
Ordered through DoorDash.. everything tasted great until I had a slight crunch. Overall good experience just didn't expect the egg to still have the shell.
google avatar

Teaira J.

Yelp
On a cold day like today, Ramen sounded amazing and it was! It definitely warmed me up with great flavor and texture all in one bowl. If you like spicy food like me, I suggest you get the bomb stuff. It's a game changer. I wanted to try something a little more unique, but was afraid that I would miss out on other ingredients. All in all, I was very satisfied with my visit.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
So delicious! Yasai, Crispy Tofu, Extra Corn, add Bamboo! Great atmosphere. Waiters are helpful. Good service. One of my favorite Ramen places for sure!
google avatar

Holly F.

Yelp
Outstanding ramen! Goro was one of my favorite restaurants I tried when visiting OKC. Finding a parking spot was tough though! After deciphering the menu a little, I tried the Yasai ramen. It was delicious! My husband also really enjoyed his ramen, the Tori Paitan. Serving sizes were huge and overall I think the price is fair. The service was great, and we loved the overall look of the place. I just wish the Monday specials were offered other days of the week as they looked tasty. The menu is pretty limited for the other days though. One thing we struggled with though was that the tables are so close to each other. We were placed at a table for two in between two other tables for two. We could hear each of their private conversations (some a little tmi) way too much and it made us not want to speak too loudly. It was just too awkward and we left discussing everything we heard others say more than anything else.
google avatar

Natasha V.

Yelp
Traditional ramen meets Japanese street food in a very chill ambience that makes for a dinner with a business associate, an friend, or a date.
google avatar

Kristy L.

Yelp
Great food and amazing staff! Great gluten-free options and love how fresh everything is and tastes!

Kasey R.

Yelp
Walked in for lunch and the hostess asked me how many it would be. I told her just me and she said they weren't serving dine in because their toilet was broken but that I could order to go and take it with me. There were filled tables and people on the patio and at the bar happily eating and being served dine in.....
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
OH MY RAMEN!! Holy smokes this place is legit. I'm from Los Angeles and get good ramen regularly. We're visiting my brother at OU and he said he had a ramen place that tops the chart ... "ok" we thought. We went and I truly am dreaming of it while writing this review. I had the spicy miso and it was hands down the best ramen I've had. The flavor and the ingredients were all there. It was a hefty portion too. We also had the karaage and it was next level. All I can say is that if you want ramen, this is your place!! The vibes were spot on with plentiful seating at tables and the bar. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable on the goods they had. I can't wait to go back when I'm in Oklahoma.
google avatar

Scarlett P.

Yelp
I typically love this place, the ambiance and food are great. However I just ordered the Kara-age Yuzu Honey Mustard Salad and it's just bagged salad mix with chicken?? I have had this salad mix many times over the years and it shocked me to have the familiar taste at this restaurant. A disappointment for the price but at least there was a sliver of cucumber...
google avatar

Rajiv A.

Yelp
I enjoy my ramen, for about 30 years now since I was in Malaysia, Ramen or even noodles has been my go to meal every chance I get. The ramen at this place is definitely tremendous. The noodles plus the broth was sooooooo good. It had the perfect amount of saltiness to it and a bit of an anchovie taste in the soup. The meatballs had a hint of spice to it which made it that much better each bite. The char siu on the other hand, though was good and it melted in my mouth it could have been better if it was a little more browner. Overall, it was amazing! Staff was okay, not friendly or mean. They are just doing their job and want to go home. Will be back for the food!

Georgia G.

Yelp
I went there earlier in the week and they said could not "legally" serve me. They said that they had to close the doors until they got an issue fixed - the water pipe is too close to the waste pipe or some such. They closed down the restaurant in the middle of the afternoon.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
My husband and I went for or weekly dinner date! It was sooo amazing! Our waitress explained the menu to us and shared the monthly specials. We both had a bowl of ramen each and had the chicken wings as a side! THOSE ARE THE BEST WINGS!! SOOOOO AMAZING!!
google avatar

Toni H.

Yelp
This little gem is in the Paseo District. It's gorgeous inside, has outstanding service, and such delicious dishes. We started with the shrimp bao buns and the tofu bao. Both were sooo delicious! Hubby loved his spicy pork meatball ramen and I fell in love with the vegan ramen. I'm not vegan and it was great!
google avatar

Lottie Y.

Yelp
Well decorated restaurant with nice little outdoor dining area. The ramen was delicious and even kids version was tasty.
google avatar

A C.

Yelp
Good, unique, authentic - but enhance your noodles experience and have your soup with a little spice. Easily located, so walk off the calories on the Paseo taking in the cutesy art galleries.
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
The food was excellent Reasonably priced And the service was outstanding! the restaurant was quiet.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
Favorite spot for ramen! Good service, good food, and great vibe all around. Always will be my spot for ramen.

L G.

Yelp
I heard this was a terrific restaurant but I guess I will never know. I went today for lunch and was told that they were closing the restaurant early today and could not "legally serve me" anything. Apparently, an inspector came by and they were not up to code - something about the waste pipe and the water pipe being too close together? I'm only in Oklahoma City for a short time so no ramen for me.
google avatar

Toshi L.

Yelp
Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambience 5/5 We came here on Thursday for lunch. Nice decor inside with modern graphics. We Had tonkotsu and Kare mazemen. I liked the kare mazemen, and it was flavorful. I wish tonkotsu had more flavor though. But I'd def come back!
