This was my first and last attempt to enter this club.
We came to celebrate a birthday - table, premium bottles, serious spend. What happened at the entrance was aggressive, humiliating, and completely unprofessional.
Our friends were already inside. My wife and I parked and approached the entrance respectfully. Security was perfect. My wife had already walked in - I was one step behind her.
At that moment, someone behind me yelled “HI.”
I had never seen this person in my life, and I wasn’t even sure the “hi” was meant for me. I turned around, looked at her briefly, confused, then turned back and continued walking toward the entrance.
Seconds later - shock.
The same person aggressively yells:
“COME BACK. COME BACK, YOU.”
I turn around, confused, and I’m ordered to come back down and stand still! 😂
Publicly. No explanation. My wife comes back asking what’s going on - no one can explain anything, because there was no reason to begin with. Only then do I realize this girl is the door manager.
We’re told to wait behind the rope while other guests walk in freely - on a Tuesday night, with the club nearly empty.
When I calmly asked what the issue was, I was given an obviously fabricated excuse about a “parking helper calling me.” That never happened. No apology. No accountability. Just turning away.
I have 12+ years of experience in nightlife, including VIP and members-only venues. I understand door policies - and I also recognize when someone is abusing their position.
What makes this especially concerning is the timing. Right as this happened, a new, 6’5” guy in an oversized fur coat appeared - clearly someone the staff didn’t know. Anyone familiar with nightlife knows this pattern: create unnecessary friction, then suddenly offer “help,” “access,” or “solutions” - sometimes tied to off-the-books favors.
I’m not accusing anyone of anything.
But the behavior fits that pattern perfectly.
I immediately told my friends to leave and warned others not to come.
If this is how guests are treated at the door, it raises serious questions about what happens inside.
Message to the owners:
One wrong person at the entrance can destroy an entire brand. It’s hard to quantify the damage caused in a single night by someone placed in such a critical position.
I will make sure this experience is heard - especially within my own New York / U.S. 7 million people communities.

I never imagined I’d take the time to write even a short review.
Here we are - and this one is fully deserved.
