Cute place, the menu on the food sounds delish. When you go in it feels a lot more like a coffee shop than a cafe. Their matcha latter was good. My friends croissant was stale but decent enough to eat. Their avocado toast was good I’m just disappointed that the butternut squash wasn’t baked as described on their menu. From my experience & reading recent comment place the opportunity lays with food quality control. Also odd that they don’t turn on their heaters for outdoor seating

I wish I could’ve gave at least four, but I have to be honest. The spot was nice and the decorations were pretty too. However, I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and I was flipped when the male staff charged me for almost $9 without asking me the size either…! So I got a very large sized matcha latte, that didn’t even tasted really good either… but I got hungry after that so I asked him for a cheese pie bakery, I assumed it would be warm and crispy but nope. I could get something much better at a grocery store. Which was almost $10 for a piece. Regarding all the reviews, I totally agreed that the music IS always loud and feels like I’m at a club. The music doesn’t match the store decorations nor the atmosphere at all, if to expect for a relaxing and sophisticated cafe. I’ve came here twice but I agreed that the male staff seems to be judging people whether to be friendly or not. It was pretty obvious that he was changing his attitudes and hospitality towards people, especially to a woman, which I felt unprofessional if he is the owner of that place. I ordered as an Uber eats today, because I was busy and was craving for a matcha latte with oat milk with an additional cost for a simple syrup and a regular cheese pie with feta. And this is what I got!!No bags were wrapped nor any utensils. My food and the drink was just laying infront of my door. I’ve been to this place physically few times, and I know that simple syrup doesn’t costs, it’s part of an option. -Free take! So it was pretty expected that guy whoever works here would not reach out to add for me, he would be -don’t care. Further more, it was not a feta cheese pie that I expected, it was something else. I am fully disappointed. The more I devote to this store, I feel more disturbing. Will never go here again. I was compromising the overall attitudes towards to this store because I liked the food and matcha when it’s fully satisfying my orders, but this literally explained how much the store is so eager with money, reflecting from the overpriced everything. I wish my ubereats will refund me. Or get me the right order already…! Ugh

Went here with a friend and we had coffee with some pastries. The strawberry cookie was good but the filling tasted a little bit raw for me. The almond cinnamon bun was about average. And the cold brew was awesome for the hot day however a little bit watery. Still a good place to chill.

This is my #1 coffeshop in Astoria that i go to work. Staff is always very nice and friendly. The vibe is good, music they play is always on point and it’s a average quiet place if you want to read a book or bring your laptop to work. Their donuts are great as well. Definitely recommended!

Their prices are not what is advertised on their menu or on the board. The latte was $9…and this is with regular milk, which is outrageous. Smoked salmon toast was average. Plenty of cheaper and better options around the area. Adding on a star for the nice outdoor space that offers plenty of seating.

I work a block away from Gossip Coffee and decided to give it a try! The staff was very pleasant and attentive right away. I had a iced coffee and lemon cake both were delicious. It's a great space for lunch dates or even a business meeting. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast menu soon!

So i want to edit my review since i have been coming to the place for time.Coffe is awesome and sometimes i get breakfast and thats delicious too. Service is really good and i always leave this place happy.
