Google
Great service, tasty food. They ran out of lamb but gave us all free soups and deserts. Amazing service. Yes it's pricy but you won't regret it, oh and you will have to get the sides with any meal. The sides are $10 each but very good and can feed two.

Beautiful place. Great food. I actually put together a few side orders for a non-steak dinner one night. One night we were guests at a large dinner for the MFA Boston downstairs. It was great. These guys are really professional.

Yelp
Prime 54 Steakhouse offers an exceptional dining experience that is truly memorable. From the moment we walked in, the staff's attentiveness was apparent, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and inviting, making it an ideal setting for a special night out. The highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, the food. Each dish was crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender, and juicy, embodying the quality you would expect from a top-tier steakhouse. The sides and appetizers were equally impressive, complementing the main courses beautifully. The service was impeccable, with staff members being both friendly and professional. They were always on hand to provide recommendations and ensure that our glasses were never empty. Overall, Prime 54 Steakhouse exceeded all expectations with its amazing food and attentive staff, making it a must-visit for any steak lover.

Yelp
This steakhouse is a great choice when staying or visiting the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The decor and atmosphere are subdued compared to the rest of Miami but that can be refreshing. It has two levels and we enjoyed the lower level leading to the pool area. I had the Lobster Bisque which was mediocre. Bland flavor and more croutons than Lobster. I would not order this again. My Wagyu Skirt Steak on the other hand was phenomenal! The Chimichurri sauce was amazing as were all the sides! My favorite item though was the SMOKED OLD FASHIONED...wow! Just wow. And a table side show to boot. The best thing about this place though is the staff. Everyone was involved in taking care of us and we always felt like we were the only ones there. Top notch for sure.

Yelp
Beautiful place with soft dark elegance... what a to cap off a visit to Miami Beach. Service was super amazing here. Impressive and impeccable service!!! Thank you for a great experience. Food was delicious, especially the bread they start you off with. Thank you PRIME 54 and FountaineBleau. Great visit.

Yelp
NEW NAME: PRIME 54 So this restaurant has gone through numerous changes, and the first one is a new name, so if you are looking at this place, just know that it is now called Prime 54. We came here for dinner the last night of our stay in Miami, and my gf was stoked to try the Truffle Bread, which she has raved about forever, but sadly, it does not exsist anymore. So, bottom line here is this place will really take care of you. The manager, Tony, truly a gem of a guy. Friendly, accommodating, personable, professional, and will really turn this place into something amazing. Our server, very helpful, attentive, and gave great recommendations for us in terms of what to order, as we got a bunch of apps and some drinks to share. The food was very good. The Brussel Sprouts were delicious, The Octopus was fresh, the Mac and Cheese was alright, very filling though, and the Cesar Salad was the best one I've had out of all of them. A great place to come for a fancy upscale dinner, and also a nice spot to people watch!

Yelp
Prime 54 Steakhouse at the Fountaine Bleau Hotel here in Miami Beach was absolutely a terrific restaurant! I thought I lived within minutes of the best steakhouse ever - Gibsons in Chicago. Prime 54 was as good, or, if not a hair better than my home turf steakhouse. First off, being in one of the most iconic and famous hotels, ever, The Fountaine Bleau, doesn't hurt the vibe going on at Prime 54. The ambiance here is chic, elegant and very dignified. Their menu had all of the classic steakhouse fare. We opted for: One of the best Wedge Salads I've ever had (sorry Bavette's). A Ribeye steak grilled so well, it floored me. Having a perfect medium rare sear and the highest quality beef I've ever tasted, I revealed each bite. Our mashed potatoes were so good, it's like they came from another planet. The mushrooms we ordered were the same - excellent Even the bread and butter was exceptional. We ended this eat-a-thon with a fantastic crème brûlée that hit on all cylinders. Lest me not forget our 2016 Bordeaux that paired perfectly with each thing we ordered. The service was magnificent and the acoustics were great. I really appreciated Prime 54! Who is ever running the "show" here at Prime 54, is a restauranteur - par excellence!

Yelp
Business meeting in Miami. Place is nice. Service was very good. The place was way overpriced. Maybe all of Miami is like this, but $65 for a 6 oz filet, size of a large scallop, and $145 for a bone in ribeye is a little much. I also didn't like the fact we ordered buffalo trace with ice and they charged me $5 for a block of ice each! $5 for frozen water in an overpriced drink already. And if they are charging for frozen water, why not let the customers know there is a charge for a large block of ice???? I also wasn't aware for the standard service charge Miami does for all charges. I ended up paying tip and then I tipped 20% on top of the overall 2 drinks, lol! Two drinks should have been $36, but I ended up paying $70 for two drinks with the ice, service charge and tip on top of the total. Hahahaha. Lesson learned. I did figure this out before my $700 dinner for 2 people afterwards for two steaks, 2 sides, an app and one bottle of wine. Won't be back. Wished they would let people know, especially out of towners about the automatic service charges. Be warned.

Yelp
We wanted to visit the Fontainebleau Miami Beach just to see it, and decided to do our Christmas Dinner at Stripsteak on a recent family vacation. We were seated in the downstairs area which was nice, as it seemed less noisy and easier for conversation than upstairs. We had all dressed up for the occasion, I forced my jeans wearing husband to put dress slacks on and felt bad when I saw most of the guests in very casual day attire. So tip number one -- you can wear whatever you want here apparently. I think I will organize this review into sections, as it was a mixed feelings experience. Service -- okay. Hostess was very friendly, and apologetic for us having to wait a few minutes for our 7P reservation. Our server was either over extended or avoiding our table, as she did not really check on us often. In fact we had to wave down other staff to get water and other items we needed. She was friendly enough, we were just not a priority or they were short on primary server staff? Not sure what was going on that night but our food took AGES to come out, as in tables seated after us were getting food before us which we found odd. Oh, and when we had significant meal leftovers at the end of our pricey meal -- we had to box up ourselves, which is not my experience in a restaurant where I am dropping $200 pp. Ambiance -- okay. The restaurant is off the lobby, and two story. The main detractor were the tables. They looked like something out of Longhorn Steakhouse or a diner? Maybe that is the intent, given this is a steakhouse -- but the table/chair set up was a bit lackluster for what we thought was going to be a 'finer dining experience'. Perhaps it is a bit more casual in Miami/South Beach but we are from San Diego/California and get the whole casual vibe thing truly and we generally take it up a notch at our nicer restaurants. The floors were also filthy which was a detractor along with the restrooms off the restaurant. I am normally never this picky about stuff but when you are going for an entire experience somewhere this stuff matters. Food -- good. They brought us two loaves of the bread, likely after seeing how long our food was taking to come out... like longer than a fine dining experience should take in courses. The bread was outstanding. Three people at the table did the prix-fixe Christmas Dinner, and two of us ordered off the regular menu. I was a regular menu person, ordering the Baby Greens Salad and Roasted Half Chicken. Both were good, but nothing to rave about. One person ordered the pricey Lobster Bisque and was disappointed. I had bites of my husbands scallops from the prix-fixe and they were excellent! Also the prime rib was cooked perfectly on the prix fixe as well after I snuck in a bite of that. The dessert on the prix-fixe was probably my favorite -- a chocolate/peppermint concoction that was YUM. Weighing the entire thing it was okay, leaning towards the good -- maybe it was just an off night for the restaurant but given what we spent on a dinner for 5 plus cocktails and a bottle of sparkling wine, it was disappointing after touristy Gianni's two nights prior set the bar apparently so high.

Yelp
We had dinner here on Thanksgiving and it was fantastic. We didn't do the Thanksgiving menu because it required the participation of the whole table and our teen daughter wanted steak. Husband and I started with salads: Caesar for him and chopped wedge for me. His looked really good and had the biggest croutons we've ever seen. My salad was very, very good. The ingredients were perfectly balanced. My daughter and husband split the chateaubriand because they wanted medium rare filet. I went with the regular filet, medium. Both steaks were great. Cooked to perfection and the meet was very high quality and melt in your mouth tender. We both got the au poivre sauce and frankly, the steaks didn't really need it. For our sides we chose the creamed spinach and the truffle mashed potatoes. Oh and the bread that came out was so good. Everyone loved their desserts. Crème brûlée for the kiddo and me, cheesecake for my better half. The crème brûlée is the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of it in my life. Hubby said his cheesecake was excellent. The service was top notch. From our waiter, to the runners who refilled waters and cleared. We felt taken care of but it wasn't intrusive. Our waiter chatted a bit with us at the end and so did the manager. Excellent experience and what you should expect from a restaurant at such a fancy hotel.

Yelp
The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and the service is exceptional! Highly recommended!

MaryJo B.

Yelp
Quality food is amazing cooked perfectly. The only problem is that everything is so heavily salted. It's hard to finishIf they cut back on the salt. everything here would be even more amazing. Tina or Server was fantastic All of her recommendations were spot on.

Hayden-Anne B.

Yelp
Delicious food and wonderful service! I love eating here when I am at the Fontainebleau.

Yelp
Prime 54 is a top-notch steakhouse that is sure to impress. As someone who doesn't often eat steak, I had high expectations, and I was not disappointed. Our waiter was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. The wine connoisseur helped us choose the perfect wine to accompany our meal. The lobster bisque was a great start to the meal, and the sides - mac & cheese and caramelized bok choy - were seasoned perfectly. The star of the show was the filet mignon, cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Prime 54 for a special occasion or a fantastic dining experience.

Yelp
Food was awesome and service was great. We had the Cesar salad which was awesome! there croutons are the best! We also had the A5 Kobe steak and Garlic Shrimp which was awesome as well.

Yelp
Food is actually a 3.5, but our server was amazing so we had a blast. We came for a bachelorette dinner of 9 girls. Definitely better steakhouses out there but here for the experience and convenience since we were staying at the hotel. We ordered a bunch of things to share for the table. We got crab cake, tuna tartare, beef tartare, Caesar salad, beef salad, foie gras to start. The crab cake was just 1 crab cake and it was ok, thought it would come with two. The tuna tartare was better than the beef. I didn't like the crunchy things on the beef tartare. The foie gras was good, huge piece. Salad was good too. As for entrees we shared two steaks, the 50oz tomahawk and the bone in ribeye. The steaks were more rare than medium rare, I didn't mind it but some girls thought it was too rare. As it was a ribeye, there was a lot of fat. The seasoning on it was okay, I would prefer a tad bit more salt. For sides we got fries, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, and Mac and cheese. They were pretty good. Our server was funny and catered to our needs. He even gave the bride to be a dessert shaped in you know what. We had a good time. Food is ok but service made it great!

Yelp
We stayed at a fontaineblue hotel and had dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Wait staff was ultra attentive, bus staff very clean. Started w a watermelon Salad, it was very refreshing and tasty. We proceeded w the delicious crab cake (presented in a large crispy ball) and the lobster bisque was very nice. * their most popular is the 40oz tomahawk steak (serves 2) without the bone it's 28 ozs of steak. My wife had the steak medium rare and a glass of red wine (Sitar, Red from Oregon) I had the half chicken and a side of potato fingerlings. Juicy and tasty Desert was Key Lime Pie...to die for. Tart and sweet paired w a nice cup of joe. Pricing is up there....so bring a good appetite, your wallet and prep your taste buds.

Yelp
Our server Janine was very good. The Porterhouse steak was delicious. We also had the Black & Blue salad which was very tasty. Although I made the staff aware of my celiac disease I'm assuming there was cross contamination because I had an issue after eating the meal. My husband loved the bread also.

Rossandra J.

Yelp
Here for an anniversary dinner. We sat for 30 mins before the bread finally arrived. I got my drink, ordered my food and still no bread. Usually it comes with the water. When it did arrive, it was delicious and fluffy with garlic butter inside so no buttering needed. I liked that. We ordered a lot and had to leave early since we had other plans. Delicious food and nice ambiance

Yelp
This isn't it. We thought last time we came we missed out since reservations here were hard to get. We are back and are just now trying to understand why. It was Saturday night and not busy. Our wine wasn't the best and our server recommended none after sharing how "amazing" the selection was. What selection is amazing, sir? I even said what I usually drink and was greeted with not much more. We found this funny as it was shocking so we just selected a random rose wine. The food was okay. I always order a bunch of seafood and steak. The steak was good but portions were weak. Mashed potatoes were excellent. Oysters were good (more below) This part irks me as we are the easiest table ever. We asked for a matchbox at the end of our meal while having coffee, and our server pointed to the bar and said we could go get them over there. Uhm... get them for me? What? (Bring them with our check possibly as a kind gesture?) We said our wine wasn't good and said don't worry about it earlier in the night (didn't even drink half a bottle between us but didn't want to take it off of bill as to not effect our server who ignored us once coffee arrived anyway lol) this guy couldn't get the matches for us? Sorry did we miss something? Service is the most important part of a dining experience and this was subpar. We still spent over 450 dollars for a "light" meal. The pricing is never the issue, but the lack of any true caring for our table. Sorry we didn't get your Louis xlll display. We could tell he wasn't happy we didn't order more Lol.... Not that it's a complaint but rather funny again, but I was the only one who got ID'd at the table, and that's a first for a Miami restaurant. Your server was a good decade younger than me and certainly didn't take our table seriously. Also he didn't try upselling us on anything and could probably use more training as well. If the food had been the best we've had I could have excused the gruffness but what we ordered was straight across the board. Couldn't be bothered finishing coffee either. I love food I will eat anywhere all over the world. This wasn't any different than a normal night out for us but nothing to write home about either. The tables were giving a dated Cheesecake Factory feel. Update time? (And let's be honest the entire hotel could use an update too but this goes without saying) Pros: -oysters were good but they're oysters... -Fiji water (as expected the whole place has this... you know bottled water was good) -the prices were affordable, seafood was cheaper than I would have thought and seemed reasonable, and not over the top. Cons: -tuna tartare was so plain and really nothing fancy and I didn't bother eating what appeared to be toast paired with it? No substance. Try adding avocado? -the lobster addition is iffy and maybe they should serve it or offer a shelled option cause it's a little sloppy on its display. (Even crab display could use work) -coffee could use improvement -check in girls were bland no excitement and bored. (I laughed to myself like sorry are we bothering you? Should we leave? But no... we wanted to try this place) Additionally we came early for our reservation and the girls in front said they were so busy they couldn't seat us early? Busy where? We would have gladly gotten a drink at the bar and added it to our bill. It was clearly not that busy when we arrived. Another upsell fail. I get that good help is hard to find, but this is Miami and this is the steakhouse represented at Fontainebleau? The first restaurant seen walking towards the pool. Shocking. Frustrating dining experience. Someone needed to say it.

Joseph S.

Yelp
So service was good to great Free bread was amazing Old fashion show was perfect Oysters excellent Instant bacon app I would pass on it Came out cold and not what I expected The salmon was ok, don't ask why we both ordered salmon at a steakhouse

Hector R.

Yelp
Owned by famous celebrity chef, and restaurateur Michael Mina this amazing steakhouse offers an In-house butcher shop, wood grilled dishes and a huge wine selection. The Fancy decorations are captivating and so is the atmosphere. Expect Expensive prices! don't forget you're in Miami Beach haha! The service is what really makes this place that much more worth the visit, the staff is attentive and they cater to all of your customer needs. The attention to detail is flawless. Best plates/ my favorites: Crab Cake** - ( cornflake crust, old bay, pickled vegetables ). Fresh Lump crab, delicious and a good size). Priced at $29 12oz Australian Wagyu Skirt** - ( great cut of meat, quality, cooked perfectly priced $62 For dessert: Key Lime Pie ( citrus salad, blackberry-ginger frozen yogurt ). Tasteful, sweet, tart, perfect texture. Priced at $16. Well recommended!

Yelp
The food was outstanding. Best I've had at a steakhouse in a long time. Great wine selection as well.

Yelp
After a week of staying at Fontainebleau, this was our grand finale dinner. I will start by recognizing the service and attention - our waitress was very kind and the other staff regularly checked on us, refilled water, cleared plates. The truffle bread starter is excellent. We started with the crab cake and baby greens salad. These dishes were also excellent, and as a party of two we were so happy with the flavor and portion size. Everything was on track for a superb dinner. Initial impression for the filet mignon is that it was just dry. They got the medium rare pink perfectly, but it was too dry. My partner's chicken was pretty salty, and the thicker parts of the breast were also dry. Overall the dinner was OK - the starters were the best part.

Rajiv K.

Yelp
My favorite part about Stripsteak has always been their free truffle bread starter. Disclaimer: I don't eat steak and this is a steakhouse. However, most steak houses have good fish. Here the fish is mediocre. The sea bass tonight was not tasting very fresh. Maybe a bit over cooked. Adequately seasoned. My friends salmon was a bit better, but for price not really worth it in my opinion. One of our guests was vegetarian that evening. They didn't have any real entree options for vegetarians. They luckily weren't to hungry and got a side spinach. So, in all fairness, I can't speak for the steak quality. However for non steak eaters, the menu is pricey and lacking options.

Monicka C.

Yelp
Order: - Wagyu Steak (4/5) - Bone-In Stripsteak (5/5) - Pomme Puree (5/5) - Asparagus (5/5) Pros: - Great tasting food - their free bread is to die for - Amazing service - Super tasty and strong cocktails - Large portions Cons: - Expensive (obviously) - Wagyu steak was a little bit too salty Overall: My BF and I wanted to treat ourselves to at least once fancy meal during our stay and we're glad we chose this restaurant. Conveniently located in the lobby of the Fontainebleau (the hotel we were staying in), the service and food was amazing. This was the best meal I had in Miami.

Carolina N.

Yelp
GET THE STEAK TARTARE. Absolutely delicious!!! Steak was also cooked to perfection & mac and cheese side is also a must.

Kahlie M.

Yelp
FOOD POISONING... Wow, what a huge disappointment. We visited strip steak last night and were looking forward to a 5 star meal during our business trip to Miami Beach. We'd had a great meal @ Scarpetta years back and figured it would be just as fantastic (clearly we were wrong)... We ordered several items- Caesar salad, ahi tuna tartare, the salmon & the asparagus. The Caesar was decent as well as the tartare. Nothing special or flavorful, just mediocre. Then came the salmon entree... I'm still in shock they served this. We both took one bite and it was rare, completely cold, and old tasting. The asparagus also came out completely cold as if it had been sitting for an hour. We sent it back immediately. The server was apologetic and brought us a truffle pasta entree substitute since we don't eat red meat. It was decent. Pasta was ok, again nothing special but he did his best to accommodate. The best part of the meal was the strawberry shortcake dessert and the truffle bread, so we finished that off with some espresso and headed to our hotel. ...six hours later in the early morning we both felt nauseous, dizzy and sick. We clearly had food poisoning. Thank goodness we each only took one bite of the salmon or we would have been extremely sick!! How this is considered a five star restaurant is beyond me. No care at all to sending out expired fish to high paying customers. We'll be reaching out to management later today and will never be returning to this restaurant. Still in shock and sick to to my stomach in this moment. P.S. They still charged us $30 for the off menu pasta and charged us for mediocre appetizers even after serving us the expired, cold and rare salmon. $165 for food poisoning. Completely. UNACCEPTABLE. Period. P.S. How this place has 4 stars is beyond me, the people eating here must have extremely low standards.

Katherine C.

Yelp
I recently was a guest at Prime 54 steakhouse and I wouldn't call our experience 5 star. This is because number one, the service was horrible. We were a large party with nine children and ordered right away. However, the food came two hours later. With a 6:15 reservation it was past a lot of kids bedtime when the food came. Number two, after so much waiting you would think you think the food would be good, but sadly no, it was a three star meal. Overall I would rate Prime 54 one star.

Phillip L.

Yelp
What a great experience. The staff and service was exceptional. We had a very large party, so we decided to make reservations. Upon our arrival, we were immediately seated and our server explained the menu. Great service throughout the night. The food was delicious as well. We basically ordered all of their tomahawk steaks. Highly recommended.

Chastity S.

Yelp
Since this was a birthday trip for me, with my husband of course we wanted to have a great steak. A lot of places had mixed reviews, so we decided to keep it simple and made a reservation for StripSteak for around 8:15pm. Upon walking in there was a group of girls blocking the hostess desk and just chatting loudly. After a few minutes the hostess came around and asked us if we have been helped. I told her the name/reservation time and she greeted me nicely by saying happy birthday. We were seated after a few minutes towards the booths near the left of the bar. Our server came over and greeted us but it did take about 15 min to just get bread. I honestly thought we weren't going to be served any. We went with a red wine the server recommended. We also ordered the chateau seafood tower ($115) as an appetizer. It was odd to me because I've never been to a steakhouse that serves oysters, lobster, crab, etc with mini spoons instead of forks. Also, it didn't automatically come with drawn butter or horseradish. The pricing on the site is different from their updated pricing on the menu inside the restaurant. In regards to the steaks, I ordered a dry aged bone in rib eye and my husband ordered the Australian wagyu skirt steak. The steaks took about another 20-25 min. The ribeye tasted like it had completely no seasoning and super dry. It gave off a really weird taste. My husband Australian strip steak was cooked basically well done, when we asked for medium rare for both. At that point we didn't want to send it back because we had been there for over an hour before our steaks came out. They said the sides were shareable but honestly they were the tiniest sides I've ever seen at a steakhouse. The sides were good though and the fried garlic in the mashed potatoes were a nice touch. Our server was just running around with his head cut off, so we would see him every now and again. I've been to other Michael Mina restaurants/steakhouses and this just didn't compare. I don't want to sound like a brat but we even had to box our own food to go. For a $500+ tab you'd expect better service. During dinner there was a couple who came in and the whole time the lady was berating and yelling at her husband over everything. Then halfway through our meal she decided to start FaceTiming people with her phone on full volume and no staff told her anything. The other 3 booths behind and in front of us all just sort of looked at each other in bewilderment. After cleaning off our table our server didn't say anything about the bill. So we just waited an about another 5-10 min later he brought out the complimentary ice cream. We wanted to order dessert but just didn't feel like waiting again. After we finished the ice cream we had to wait another 5 min to just ask for our check. And another 5 min to actually get the check and give it to him, and get the card back. I know our server meant well but it just was an overall very underwhelming experience. Also keep in mind the 18% added gratuity. We also noticed that there were many people who didn't follow the "dress code." We didn't mind that, but just sometime to keep in mind.

Tarrah P.

Yelp
We walked in at 10:30pm on a Sunday so they had us sit at the bar... bartender was super sweet, food was delicious and came out fast. The boo and I ordered the Ribeye steak, roasted broccolinis and yam purée. We shared everything and it was more than enough food. A bit pricey for a last minute dinner but the quality and flavor made it worth it!

M C.

Yelp
Best restaurant experience ever. Went two nights in a row during our honeymoon because we couldn't get enough of the food, service, and ambiance. The salmon, dry boat scallops, Wagyu steak, and Mac n Cheese were incredibly flavorful. The staff is absolutely personable and will treat you in a way you won't forget. Big thanks to Michelle, Cathia, Manager Tony, Chef Michael, and their team for the exquisite food and wine adventure.

Bailey M.

Yelp
I'm from out of town and my friend suggested prime 54 and I'm glad I went. The crab cakes were fantastic and the service was even better. I had Janine as a sever and she was so friendly, warm and so bubbly. Really made the experience perfect. If I'm ever in town again I'm asking for her she's amazing.

Steven B.

Yelp
The 3 stars are for service only vibe food and prices are subpar. Had Fillet mignon potatoes with truffle butter gravy and oyster platter. Oysters were Red Lobster quality with triple the price. Steak was flavorless and undercooked. Mashed potatoes were warm but too much truffle butter made them too rich.

Andrea A.

Yelp
RYAN is a great server! He told us about how he only recently moved to Florida but with all his knowledge of the place, his suggestions on where to go around Miami, and his knowledge of the food, we would never have guessed that he wasn't a local. The food was so delicious and we were so hungry that I have no pictures of the food. Having that said... It is quite pricy and I would not come back unless the server is Ryan. The busser of our table rushed us many times. I refused for him to take away our oysters since we were not finished with them. Our family, whose car broke down on the highway on the way to miami on christmas eve, was still on the way in an uber and we wanted them to taste some of the food since the kitchen was about to close. He even yelled at me "soon! It won't be good anymore! Soon!" And tried to take my dish away 3 times even though I explained I am waiting for someone. Instead, proceeded to yell fr across the room. Other guests looked over at us wondering why he was yelling. I wasn't feeling my drink so I wanted to order another one. Someone else, unsure if it was the manager or just another person, they came up to me and said I can't order two drinks at once. He said please finish the first one and I'll give you a new one. I was a little annoyed, but okay, if that's the policy, sure. I asked if I can't order another drink, can I replace it since I didn't like it? He said sure. But later, he proceeded to charge me for it later. I would let this slide but being pressed by the busser and then this, it wasn't a good combo. The busser once again, rushing us, took away our dessert when we just got it on our table. We only just finished slicing it up into small slices to share. I found him to be very abrasive and rude. I did not come to fine dinning and pay so much to be treated so roughly. Especially with the extra fees for service charge. Ryan was amazing. Kept us in a great mood even though our family was going through so much in one night. The food is great and so are some of the staff. But I mark it as 3 stars because I won't come back. The price is not worth being rushed, told you cannot order what you want but still charging it to my bill, and definitely not worth being yelled at especially on christmas eve.

Yelp
Chef Rodrigo does not disappoint when it comes to his flavor, technique, plating and the overall experience. From start to finish each corse was packed with an element of surprise and flavor. Our waiter helped guide us through our experience and drinks to accompany the courses to come. The location itself is located in the fountain bleu and if you can manage yourself a seat in the lower level dining room the ambiance there is absolutely worth it. Don't skip on this experience if your staying in the area.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place. It started off great with the lobster bisque and the crab cake. Decided to order the tuna tartare and it was a complete let down. It was served with very large, dried out bread triangles which turned to sawdust when you ate it. The tartare was flavorless and non appetizing. Ordered the ribeye with chimichurri sauce and a side of mashed potatoes. The ribeye was cooked well but was cold by the time it got to the table. The mashed potatoes were good but the portion is small compared to other steakhouses with a la cart sides. Also, everywhere within the hotel charges a 20% gratuity, automatically. Servers are sure to tell you that this gets split and they request extra gratuity on top of that. Very expensive meal and wasn't really worth it. Believe our bill was $315. No problem paying that much for a meal but I want it to be delicious and amazing!

Yelp
Jenine was absolutely amazing. I've been in the service industry for a very long time and I've never been waited on so effortlessly by anyone. All of her recommendations and knowledge blew me away! Will be back!

Yelp
Brought my sister and my friend here for their birthdays last year and it was just amazing. Best steakhouse in Miami.

Yelp
Fantastic experience at Stripsteak within the Fontainebleau Hotel. My wife and I arrived here for an early dinner and were seated immediately. It wasn't busy yet, so we were taken to a quiet table by the kitchen downstairs. The waiter and servers were all extremely attentive and friendly. They started us off with the famous (or infamous) black truffle butter bread- wow. As a starter, we split a Caesar salad which was solid- nothing out of this world but it was a holdover until the main event arrived. Shortly after, the Filet mignon and Australian wagyu reached out table accompanied by chimichurri and their house sauce. Both steaks and sauces were delicious, perfectly prepared and salted. Lobster Mac and cheese + brussel sprouts were our shared sides, both of which were larger than expected portions (leftovers). We finished with the creme brulee, which was very tasty but less warm/hot than we would have liked. No big deal. All in all, this is a top Miami steakhouse and a great spot for a special occasion- from date night to an important client meeting. As a Miami Beach establishment, expect expensive valet parking ($30) on arrival unless you're taking an Uber/Lyft orb staying nearby and walking. Chances are if you're dining here, you've already accepted a "no budget night", so roll with it and you should have a great experience.

Yelp
When reality bares zero resemblance to both hype and expense, the high end meal that you've been drooling over in anticipation, becomes angry foam in the corners of your mouth and a desire to toss china frisbees full of crap steak and cold fries, into the clueless crowd. $98.00 for what was tantamount to selling a steak so pathetic, it felt like a dare to complain. I had to talk my husband off the culinary ledge. A 1" thick, underwhelming, insulting, inferior product that rendered me speechless at the audacity to serve this to anyone. The presentation of my chosen dish was preceded by it's unmistakable, south of fresh odor. I received the 'Bait and Switch' snapper instead of the 'Sea Bass' that was on the on the menu. Who are these patrons leaving 5* reviews? Are these guests in a parallel universe steakhouse? Do they not detect the pungent odor of old fish? Have they ever heard of Peter Luger? So many questions that alas, will remain unanswered and probably for the best.

Yelp
Had dinner at the bar. Service was great. Drinks are expensive but expected for Miami Beach. 40oz Tomahawk Wagyu was amazing. Possibly the best steak I've had. Worth every penny. Easily fed two. We barely could finish it. Bok choy side was also very good with a little bit of spice.

Yelp
We had Stone crab claw for appetizers, Mine was partially frozen. The server was nowhere to be found. So I ate the ice-cold claw. Then my 8oz. filet mignon came out and was dry. Again the server was nowhere to be found. The bread, mac &cheese as well as the creamed spinach was fine.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were able to make our way over here for their Valentine's Day menu. From beginning to end the service, the food, the atmosphere was exquisite. I want to take a moment to talk about how amazing our server Janine was. Attentive, kind, funny, informative and an overall delight. The food was amazing on its own but it's truly the service that makes a restaurant remarkable. The only thing not pictured was my shrimp cocktail which was divine. Every course came plated beautifully and full of finesse. The pomme that came alongside my 8oz filet was the best potato dish I've tasted. Let's not even talk about the truffle butter bread, I think I'll be dreaming of it in my sleep! That's how good it was. All in all I feel very lucky I got to eat here with my significant other It was a lovely evening.

Yelp
I had previously dined at Stripsteak for a Yelp Elite event a few years back, so when a good friend and her family had a layover at the Fontaineblue and suggested we have dinner here, I jumped at the chance. Our server was absolutely fantastic; answering any questions we had about the menu, offering good information and giving us plenty of time to peruse the menu and catch up with each other. My friend, her hubby and her teenage son all had steaks of some sort (I'm not a steak eater, so I cannot offer more than that!). Her daughter is 10 with a 10 year old appetite and had a seafood based starter. I opted for the salmon wellington and we also had several sides for the table to share (brussels, which were excllent, mac and cheese, also excellent and fries). As I said, I can't comment on the steaks, but the salmon was good. The pastry was a little soggy (don't tell Mary Berry!) but it was a huge portion. As mentioned earlier, the sides were also a great accompaniment and the portion sizes were good for a group. My friend and I also each had a glass of a red blend. The interior is lovely and the service is top notch; however, I am having a hard time giving it 5-stars because it is eye-wateringly expensive! I thought the quality of the food, while very good, just did not match the prices. Perhaps the steaks justify the pricing and it's my own fault for ordering fish at a steak house, but the prices seemed excessive. That said, I think for a special occasion, or if you are dining on someone else's dime, Stripsteak is a great experience.

Yelp
Phenomenal service, food (seafood, steak), and ambiance. From start to finish the meal was amazing, the manager came to speak with us and asked us how things were? Servers were on the ball, food came out in a timely manner. My first time having Wagyu rib cap steak. Only heard about it from Hell's Kitchen from Gordon Ramsay. It was an amazing piece of steak that melted in my mouth. My only qualm is that they helped themselves on the tip/service charge. Only 3 people in our party and no where did they ask for my permission. Not sure if the service charge is a thing in FLL but was very unhappy about that. I love Michael Mina restuarants and have dined at them all over the states and their attention to detail is amazing, food quality and selection is always a hit!

Yelp
I normally am not a fan of eating too much steak, I prefer chicken. However, stripsteak has a selection of pure awesomeness! I went there for my birthday and had almost everything in the menu. When eating at a steakhouse like this, you gotta do it right. My favorite steak is the dry aged strip steak. Everything is great on the menu.

Yelp
Staying at the Fontainbleu, this was an easy choice and worth it. We had the boneless rib eye (medium) and tenderloin (medium rare) and both were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Not at all dry and I didn't feel the need for any accompanying sauce. Sides included the charred broccolini which were fine and the herb fries which were flavorful and plentiful. A solid meal overall. Service was outstanding. The complementary bread was tasty but very rich and buttery. It would have been nice to have some variety. There is also a relatively limited range of options on the menu, but you can easily preview it in advance to know what you are in for.

Yelp
I've been a fan of Michael Mina since I ate at his 1 Michelin star restaurant in San Francisco. And this restaurant absolutely met my expectations for a Mina restaurant. As for the steaks, they were delicious and definitely as good or better than the great steakhouses I've been to, but what made this place great was the appetizers and the dessert. The pork belly was amazing and the tuna tartare was delicious. I've never had a creme brûlée made with corn and it was decadent. I ate at some great restaurants at the Fontainebleau, but this was my favorite.

Yelp
Very elegant and sophisticated place to eat with your partner for a date night and great flavor. Everything was amazing from cocktails to the food and service was top 10. Also there is things to do after at the hotel so is great for nightlife entertainment
