Gotham West

This building is a great luxury building! Gotham West was one of the first apartments my partner and I saw in the beginning of our apartment search. After touring other apartments, it became the building we kept comparing them too. Notable things about our apartment is that the finishes are stainless steel, in-unit washer/dryer, and the fridge has an ice maker! The dryer is a condensing dryer, but I would have preferred a vented, gas dryer. The floors are vinyl, but they do look and feel very close to wood. Our apartment also has great views because it is one of the taller high rise apartments. There is a shuttle that goes to Grand Central. However, the shuttle does get full and a few times we were not able to get on the shuttle and had to wait for the next one. After a few weeks of living here, we really love how the staff are very diligent and any issues we reported were addressed promptly. The amenities are also wonderful and well kept. To note, the amenities are an addition and only available if you choose to pay the monthly price. They also have cool events like a comedy show and sushi making. We were able to enjoy one of the events, but the other did get full quickly and we were not able to RSVP. Additionally, Gotham West's leasing agent Ryan was very welcoming and honest. He kept us up to date after our initial tour, and it was great he continued to reach out only with essential information through the duration of our search. After a month and a half search, we decided this building was our home.

I finally found the apartment I was hoping for, thanks to the leasing team at Gotham West! Being new to the NYC rental market, I was warned that finding an apartment would be a challenge. I spent countless hours meeting a range of leasing characters and viewing apartments all over the city. Along the way, I had a meeting with Christian, a leasing agent at Gotham West, to view several apartments. While these apartments were nice, they weren't ideal (i.e. had strange layouts/designs, not the best views). However, I really liked the building and amenities. I shared this feedback with Christian and went on about my search. Later, Christian followed up with me to view another apartment that had become available. This apartment addressed my previous concerns and had an amazing view of the Hudson River. But, being new to NYC, I was hoping to find a classic view of the city skyline. Christian understood, and back to my search I went. Shortly after, Christian followed up again about a rare upcoming apartment with great views of the city. Though I was a bit skeptical and weary from my search, Christian and his leasing partners (i.e., Ryan) worked to reassure me that this apartment would most likely check off many of the things I was looking for. And they were right — within minutes of viewing the apartment I realized that this was the one. Moreover, the leasing team made the leasing process a breeze, providing help and guidance throughout. I am now looking forward to moving into my apartment, which I would not have found and secured without the outstanding support of the Gotham West leasing team.

I recently moved into Gotham West Apartments, and my experience has been fantastic. From the start, Tony, the resident manager, was incredibly helpful and guided me through the entire process. Tom, Patrick, Edona, and everyone else at the front desk are very welcoming and always make me feel at home. The apartment itself is great, and I feel so nice about living here. Also the rooftop is INCREDIBLE. I'm very happy with my decision to move to Gotham West and highly recommend it!

Last week I visited my good friend who lives at the Gotham West and I must say - I was amazed by it! The design, architecture and overall vibe is beautiful. The moment you walk in, you enter in a real Manhattan style lobby, big walls, very high ceiling, politely greeted by the concierge. The staff was beyond helpful and very professional, taking into consideration that I was just a guest and not an actual tenant of the building. The residence has so many luxurious amenities that you don’t even have to leave the building, so to speak. Also, what really left me a good impression was the cleanliness of the building. Everything was spotless, clean and polished - front door, lobby, elevator and hallways etc. You could tell that the management pays attention to details. Overall, beautiful building and professional management/organization.👌🏻

Ive been living here for about 3 months now in a cozy little studio and it has been by far the best living experience I could possibly ask for! The building is clean and modern yet still welcoming and warm. Repairs are always handled within 24 hours after I request them and the gym has been a godsend during the pandemic. Its open 24/7 and has everything any serious lifter could ask for (plus a Peloton bike!). The rooftop and garden and lounge are also all so stunning and well maintained! The building also hosts super cute events each month - they gave out cake pops for Valentine’s Day and I got to do a cooking class and wine tasting! But it’s been the amazing staff here that has truly made living here such a treat! From little chats with the front desk to helping me out with actual issues, everyone has been so great! I recently dropped my phone down the elevator shaft and Tony the building manager was able to get my phone back bless his soul. And I did have an issue with a neighbor’s barking dog but management helped me handle it and it’s been peace and quiet ever since! Highly recommend living here if you can, I know a lot of buildings like to throw the word ‘luxury’ around but Gotham West truly embodies the word!

After 6+ years of living at Gotham West (45/11), I need to give praise to one of our favorite Concierge’s! Eddie goes way above the calling… He is Uber Attentive and listens to our needs! He has helped out hugely in many situations and I’m more than Grateful for his service. He is like extended family and His actions and other staff at GW is what separates Gotham West from other Buildings in HK where I’ve lived the past 25 yrs!!! Thanks, Eddie! 😊

After living at Gotham West for nearly four years, I can confidently say it’s been a fantastic experience! The building itself is impressive, with top-notch amenities and priceless views, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional staff. The front desk team is always welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure we feel safe and well taken care of. Shoutout to Eddie, Christian, Hamza, and Johnny for their kindness and professionalism. Hamza, who works mornings, is always the first to greet us with a cheerful “good morning,” setting a positive tone for the rest of the day. In the evenings, Eddie never fails to lift our spirits with his humor and infectious energy; he consistently goes the extra mile to make sure we are well taken care of. The entire front desk team, from welcoming us to managing packages, is consistently warm, efficient, and attentive, making life at Gotham West truly seamless. Special thanks to Toni, the Resident Manager, who is always on top of things. Any issue we’ve had has been addressed promptly and with care, ensuring our apartment is always in perfect condition. The handymen, Giovanni, Pashtrick, and El, are quick to respond and keep everything running smoothly, while the porters keep the building spotless. Lastly, a big thanks to Jake, our shuttle bus driver, who is always reliable and friendly. For anyone looking for a wonderful community and a well-maintained, welcoming environment, Gotham West should definitely be on your list!

Christian helped us with our move from San Francisco to New York City, sight unseen. He was patient, kind, flexible to our schedule, full of information, and even coordinated a walkthrough with our friend in NYC. Highly recommend working with Christian if you’re looking to rent an apartment at Gotham West!
