Gotham West

Building leasing offices are a first and telling indication of a building community. As a determined and prepared lessee, I was pleased with Christian and his colleagues work at Gotham West as I searched for an apartment. Their professionalism and thoroughness were top-notch. The initial walk-through appointment was monitored and a minor change was quickly accommodated and acknowledged. Christian’s manner was professional yet not overly "stuffy" serious, a great indication of the properties character. They were personable, well informed about the apartment amenities and knowledgeable about the availability of units not only immediately but a month or two in the future. Christian had full knowledge of the different floor plans and different designs in the building, which included offering information about window view direction and exposure. This extended to clear information about additional fees, which were presented directly and did not need to be investigated on my part. Christian and his office were exceptionally communicative throughout the leasing process, and were clear about building documentation requirements. I received timely updates and information about expected response from the leasing offices. In addition, when I requested a second visit Christian made sure a team member was able to be available to help, which made me confident that the office is communicative and works well together. Unlike some other building visits, it was clear to me that Christian liked the building and community he was showing, which came across clearly during our tour. Christian and his colleagues turned out to be excellent representatives of the building and the type of place I was hoping to call home.

Probably the nicest nyc apartment I will ever inhabit. The amenities are all top notch, the staff is great. The gym has multiple room and it was never too crowded. The rooftop is so gorgeous with a beautiful view of the river. My only complaint is with the management company. They are very rude and would only work with me after I had to go to their office literally in tears over the ordeal they were causing me when I was simply trying to change apartments giving them back my apartment (which was an awesome covid deal) to put on the market and make more money and trying to pay regular full price for a different apartment.

This building is a great luxury building! Gotham West was one of the first apartments my partner and I saw in the beginning of our apartment search. After touring other apartments, it became the building we kept comparing them too. Notable things about our apartment is that the finishes are stainless steel, in-unit washer/dryer, and the fridge has an ice maker! The dryer is a condensing dryer, but I would have preferred a vented, gas dryer. The floors are vinyl, but they do look and feel very close to wood. Our apartment also has great views because it is one of the taller high rise apartments. There is a shuttle that goes to Grand Central. However, the shuttle does get full and a few times we were not able to get on the shuttle and had to wait for the next one. After a few weeks of living here, we really love how the staff are very diligent and any issues we reported were addressed promptly. The amenities are also wonderful and well kept. To note, the amenities are an addition and only available if you choose to pay the monthly price. They also have cool events like a comedy show and sushi making. We were able to enjoy one of the events, but the other did get full quickly and we were not able to RSVP. Additionally, Gotham West's leasing agent Ryan was very welcoming and honest. He kept us up to date after our initial tour, and it was great he continued to reach out only with essential information through the duration of our search. After a month and a half search, we decided this building was our home.

The Gotham West team was great to work with---Christian, Sasha, Oscar, and all the rest with the leasing, management, and concierge teams. They have made for a very smooth transition into our new place, and have been very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend. 5/5

One of the things I enjoy about my apartment at Gotham West is my long hallway, which provides sound privacy and space for my bookshelves. I also enjoy dealing with the staff. Among others, Eddie Srdanovic at the front desk is a pleasure to deal with. Eddie is an efficient, intelligent and dignified young professional who has been particularly helpful to me, always providing good information and care. He has a good sense of humor too. Makes it more pleasant to come in and out of the building.

This luxury building in NYC is beautiful—the room is stunning, the gym has all you need for a good workout, the lounge is large and modern with a pool table, and the garden is curated and relaxing. The apartments themselves are modern, and all the amenities work wonderfully. We could not be more impressed by this building, and Christian specifically was amazing in helping us get a very quick turnaround on signing the lease and working with our schedule. We feel very lucky to be in this building and could not give it a better review, and also Christian again was a wonderful guide and liaison.

Christian was exceptional in showing me all the amenities at Gotham West and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Gotham West is truly a gem — offering top-notch services in a fantastic location. Many thanks to Christian for his professionalism, warmth, and support in making this my new home!

Last week I visited my good friend who lives at the Gotham West and I must say - I was amazed by it! The design, architecture and overall vibe is beautiful. The moment you walk in, you enter in a real Manhattan style lobby, big walls, very high ceiling, politely greeted by the concierge. The staff was beyond helpful and very professional, taking into consideration that I was just a guest and not an actual tenant of the building. The residence has so many luxurious amenities that you don’t even have to leave the building, so to speak. Also, what really left me a good impression was the cleanliness of the building. Everything was spotless, clean and polished - front door, lobby, elevator and hallways etc. You could tell that the management pays attention to details. Overall, beautiful building and professional management/organization.👌🏻
