"The little roadside hamburger joint that could, originally Taylor’s Refresher in St. Helena, now has restaurants throughout the Bay Area. The Walnut Creek location has the benefit of space, offering ample seating inside and out, plus being situated within the outdoor shopping hub of Downtown Plaza. Some go for the fish tacos, others for the barbecue-sauced, bacon-and-mushroom-topped Wisconsin burger, and yet others for the classic double-cheeseburger. The kids menu features the standard greatest hits but mini corn dogs are a special treat. Beer, wine, fountain drinks, and all sorts of shakes and floats round out a happy family meal." - Laura Smith Borrman

The place looks nice, the service is good no complains (but it’s a fast food place so they don’t really do that much). The food is bad hamburger didn’t taste like hamburger they should use real meat for it idk. The chicken tenders super heavy and oily, fries were nice. Lemonade was the star of the show so if u want lemonade come here (the only thing is that it’s gonna be TAX). Really expensive place for the food they offer.

Gott's tops the list of must-visit eateries in Walnut Creek. International tourist? Go to Gott's. On a date? Got to Gott's. In the Bay Area visiting family or on business? Go to Gott's. Local who doesn't want to cook? Go to Gott's. I don't see crowds like this anywhere else in Walnut Creek. (Protip: Avoid weekends and holidays.) I don't think I've ever heard as many languages spoken under one roof, either. Just about every other time I come, I'm hearing Spanish from the table behind me, Mandarin from the one in front of me, Farsi from two tables down, Russian from the family walking down the aisle, and Japanese from the ladies standing in line. Everybody loves Gott's. It's good old casual American food at its best. Everything on the menu is great, period, and it's worth coming back every month to try the new seasonal specials. I personally get the basic burger most of the time to save a couple bucks but you can't go wrong with any of their fancy burgers, either. And don't sleep on the bar, either. Gott's has a great selection of tasty craft brews on tap at a pretty reasonable price.

Came here for lunch with cousins and didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the ahi burger and love that they have lots of choices for everyone even the kids. Will have to come back to try the rest.

This is my first and definitely my last visit. The service was awful, and the burger was even worse(not cooked medium rare at all). I wasted $16 on something that wasn’t even worth a McDonald’s meal. As I sit here typing this, I don’t even know where to begin. The cashier had an attitude while taking our order, and we waited 30 minutes for a burger that arrived cold, messy as if it had been sitting out for ages. The fries were dripping with oil, so we asked for the entire order to be remade—only to wait another 20 minutes. I even had to run back to refill my parking meter. Never again. This place is an absolute joke.

We love gott's. We had an unusual experience this time. It was busy when we arrived. Couldn't even get a seat, but that's not the issue. We ordered, then our friends did. We did get seats outside. It's nice there. But the wait for the food was very long. I started to see people who ordered way after we did get their food. Tables were emptying. So I went to the counter and asked. They said they were waiting for my partners order. Then our friends did came. Still I waited... Finally after asking the separate times and requesting the manager, the food came. I complained to the manager thinking that if they had been waiting all that time for my partners order, that my burger would be cold. The manager touched it with her gloved hand, not an issue, and said it was warm but that she'd get me a credit. Turns out it was cold. Are only felt the top so the lights had kept that warm... Ultimately she gave me a $25 gift card, which I feel was fair. I don't think it is an example of their usual service. We will go back.

Has vegan options that are GOOD! Crowded but that's because it's popular. Lots of space. Wish they had a dairy free chocolate+vanilla soft serve flavors bc it looked so good!

Fantastic, ultra kid-friendly burger restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. Incredibly clean, good energy, very safe for kids on the spectrum. The food is 5-star delicious, the service is fast, and the tables are plentiful. We ordered orange floats, tacos, fries, and chicken tenders. Dad ordered the kimchi burger. All of the food was good, but the kimchi burger gave me an honest to god "wow" moment on first taste. So good. Absolutely worth a special trip if you have kiddos who get the wiggles during meals, but you still want to eat some gourmet food and sit for a spell. (I would like to give a special shout-out to the young lady bussing tables yesterday. She was an absolute force of nature, keeping that place spotless, and deserves a raise. Well done!) A+ all around. We are definitely coming back.

Every time I order via caviar or DoorDash, they never include the mayo sauce that comes with the Fried Brussels sprouts. I’m paying for this sauce, yet they always make sure to NOT include it. Will I ever get the order that I paid for?
