20 Excellent and Child-Friendly Restaurants in the East Bay

"The little roadside hamburger joint that could, originally Taylor’s Refresher in St. Helena, now has restaurants throughout the Bay Area. The Walnut Creek location has the benefit of space, offering ample seating inside and out, plus being situated within the outdoor shopping hub of Downtown Plaza. Some go for the fish tacos, others for the barbecue-sauced, bacon-and-mushroom-topped Wisconsin burger, and yet others for the classic double-cheeseburger. The kids menu features the standard greatest hits but mini corn dogs are a special treat. Beer, wine, fountain drinks, and all sorts of shakes and floats round out a happy family meal." - Laura Smith Borrman

Google
As someone who grew up in San Ramon we’ve been going here for a while and I always make sure to hit this place up whenever I come back, the chocolate ice cream just hits different. This last time I tried the hot honey chicken tenders for the first time and they have got to be the best I’ve ever had. The seasonal waffle fries were also bomb

Josh H.

Google
Gott’s is always a win. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients, and the fries are perfectly crispy every time. Whether you go classic or try one of their specialty burgers, everything tastes fresh and well put together. The atmosphere is casual and fun, and it’s a great spot for a quick bite or a laid-back meal with friends or family. Service is usually fast and friendly, even when it’s busy. One of the best places in Walnut Creek for a solid burger and fries — definitely a go-to spot.

Google
Gotts Roadside in Walnut Creek is a decent option when you’re craving a quick, casual burger and fries. The cheese fries were the highlight — hot, crispy, and topped with a tasty cheese sauce. Their house hot sauce and organic ketchup are nice touches that elevate the sides a bit. The burger itself was okay, the meat was a little dry. Overall, I’d rate the burger a 6/10 and the fries an 8/10. The indoor space is spacious, clean, and set up conveniently with self-serve condiments, paper towels, and plenty of seating. It’s not the best burger spot I’ve ever had, but it’s decent. Probably wouldn't return.

Google
Gott’s is a fast food place but not so fast. They have some interesting menu items not generally available in other fast food joints. There is no blow your mind away kind of taste though. The burger and fries were mediocre. The brussel sprouts were fresh and the sauce was good. The tomato soup was hot and filling, hit the right spot of tangy and sweet. Ordering process in self service was quick but food took a long time to be prepared. Overall there is no reason to visit this place again unless all other restaurants in the area are closed.

Google
This is supposed to be their most popular item and the fried chicken was soggy, didn’t taste like real chicken. My sandwich was served cold even though I asked them if they just made it or have been sitting there for a while. They said they just made it. Lettuce had a funky taste like a 2-week old one. The food lacked saltiness and flavor and it was really expensive for that mediocre taste. Hot boys is way better for less price.

george H.

Google
Garlic fries are terrible. No real garlic. Absolutely covered in extra oil. IMO good garlic fries should be less greasy and have real garlic with real garlic flavor Burger was good so was the fried Teriyaki sandwich (except lettuce was sad)

Maya U.

Google
I absolutely love Gott’s. It’s one of my very favorite restaurants. However, the line sometimes is slow and it can be hard to find a table, but I’m still willing to go and wait in line, as the delicious food makes it worth it

Greg R.

Google
We had a few different burgers, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The burgers were okay, except they were a little too greasy for our liking. Others might be fine with them that way, so that's why I gave them an okay rating. The indoor dining area has a fair amount of community dining tables to interact with other customers, but when there are a lot of young kids running around, it can get a little chaotic.

Yelp
I love this location of Gott's for several reasons, great parking, spacious interior, fun menu and most of all kid friendly. My kid loves the fries, the soft serve and large cookies. We love the burgers, fries, drinks and fun sides. There are always lots of families here eating while shopping and it's a great fast restaurant (not quite fast food).
google avatar

Yelp
First time trying Gott's we did DoorDash and it was 10/10 definitely will be eating there and ordering from here more. Special shoutout to whoever wrote our name for the order on the bag. We appreciate your crafty work and it did not go unnoticed lol

Yelp
Unfortunately, I have no photos to show for our meal. That's because I never got my salad and the waffle fries took 30 minutes and were not as described. The mangers were very nice and accommodating given the poor service. They normally have the best chicken kale Caesar salad. Today may have just been an off day. I will return- maybe not on a weekend until the season is over
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
Love the open seating. Can get loud. A little pricy but worth it. Sometimes the wait can be long but you are able to make orders online. Favorites are onion rings with ranch and their shakes.

Yelp
Got takeout from Gott's on a Friday night and was really satisfied with it! The crispy chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The quality of the ingredients really stands out you can taste the difference. Service was quick and friendly, even during a Friday rush, and the space was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out. Parking can get a bit tricky depending on the time of day, but it's worth it. Gott's continues to deliver that elevated roadside experience delicious food, thoughtful service, and a fun, California-casual vibe. Definitely a solid go-to in downtown Walnut Creek!

Yelp
I love how casual this place it yet a little elevated. They have a lot of choices from salads to burgers to tacos. It's friendly for kids as well and they are very careful with food allergies. My son has an egg allergy and they made sure to check the ingredients of the buns so it was safe for my son. It does get quite busy on the weekends though so keep that in mind if you have little ones that are hungry.
google avatar

Jamee S.

Yelp
I'm giving them 5 stars because of how they handle big groups. Thursday night. Water Polo Tournament. The line is LOOOOONG!!! So many families with hungry kids. So while I was in line, I decided to order online for the family. However, because my family of 3 took a minute to order, by the time I was ready to pay, I was already at the register. So... I ordered in person. Lots of tables! Your group can sit inside or outside. Self-serve water, condiments, napkins, utensils. There is a wait because there are lots of people. But that's okay. Go spend quality time with your loved ones or friends and have a conversation. Or get on your phone to pass the time. Or avoid eye contact with the team who you lost too. Or glare at the team you just beat. Lol. Food came out correctly. For our large group of 30, there were no mistakes! Food was delicious. Loved the Brussels sprouts.
google avatar

Brandy T.

Yelp
I thought Gotts was delicious. The patty on my burger was thick and good quality ground beef (I wish it would have had a bit more seasoning). The bun was nice. The shake was decently thick. Noah, at the register, was very pleasant and recommended adding PB to the cookies and cream shake - the Mister loved it. My aunt ordered a salad. The lettuce looked really fresh and the portion size was nice. There was a decent amount of seating available inside and outside. Its a family friend place so it was a bit loud. The food came out quickly. I like this place for group meetings so everyone can pay separately and there was more than adequate parking on a busy Saturday. I will definitely return.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now and have never had a bad experience. So far Ive tried their Kimchi burger, gruyer and onion burger and the green chile cheeseburger. All were delicious in their own way but I think my favorite has been the green chile, not too spicy but still has some kick to it, especially paired with the gooey cheese. The sweet potato fries with their house made ranch are really good as well as their chili cheese fries. The service workers have always been very friendly and welcome at this location.

Yelp
Gott's in Walnut Creek is bustling on Friday evenings! I met up with a few friends for dinner, and we eagerly joined the line that stretched out the door. The line moved quickly, and the cashier even offered me a glass of ice water while I waited for my food. (Pro Tip: you can order your dessert ahead of time and get a voucher to pick it up later, or you can order dessert later at the pickup window.) There was still plenty of seating, so I sat at a booth while I waited for my order to be prepared. After about 15 minutes, my order was ready. I got the fried avocado tacos because they sounded intriguing, but I'll admit that I wasn't a fan. The blue corn tortillas were already soggy by the time I got back to my table, and they tore through as soon as I picked them up. There was way too much cabbage, and I ended up digging in with a fork and knife and leaving behind much of the soggy tortilla and cabbage. On a positive note, I enjoyed the fried avocado, which was both crispy and creamy - and it paired well with the chipotle mayo sauce. I think the taco was meant to resemble a fish taco, and I'll admit that it was a creative dish. I saved room for dessert and could not pass up the Strauss Creamery vanilla soft serve. To spruce things up, I ordered my soft serve with the butterscotch shell (similar to Magic Shell). The soft serve was simple yet decadent - and the line to order dessert was much shorter!

Yelp
Burger came out raw =(. Ive been here before and it can get really busy at this location. Usually good food, but served a raw burger, line was 15+ people deep, I didn't have time to address it up front and wait for another burger. Seemed like the burger was barely on the grill =/.

Yelp
Great location if you're shopping downtown Walnut creek. Parking garage right across the street. Went on Black Friday and of course was super busy. The wait time wasn't too bad given the amount of people there. It was really cold at lunchtime, so glad we were able to get seating inside. There are heaters outside if you end up out there. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was good size / thick patty ( it could have used a little more seasoning). The egg bun was really fresh and so were the veggies. I wish the cheese had some melt on it, it was cold cheese placed on the burger after grilled. The fries were good, crispy and the fresh ranch I thought was a highlight. The fróze was really good, not too sweet. They have an extensive menu, a little something for everyone. The price point is on the higher side for a burger spot. There is also a tv above the bar that had a sports game on. Decent place to stop for a quick bite.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
First time coming here. I got the kimchi burger. There was a small wait, but the wait to get my food was longer. This place gets busy at night, so it's ideal to find a table in advance. The burger was decent, but probably not worth the price. The strawberry lemonade was okay. They have a good selection of food otherwise and a nice atmosphere. There is parking across the street.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a light snack on a Saturday evening. We split chili cheese fries and a cookies n cream milkshake. - Milkshake: delicious with large chunks of Oreo (or knock off oreos) throughout - Chili cheese fries: can be a good side for one person or a small appetizer for two people
google avatar

Yelp
Meh at best. Ordered the Gruyere and Onion Burger. No onions were included I guess? Couldn't find any anyway. More bun than burger patty (it was well-seasoned), but disappointing considering the price tag. Sweet potato fries came out cold so definitely not from the fryer but they tasted nice. Would I come back? Maybe to try a different menu item but I've had better meals from any other burger place out there. Place is a cool vibe but vibes don't make a great burger.

Jason U.

Yelp
Very disappointing the best artist in Saint Helena and another one in Napa I don't know who in their right mind designed this cafeteria looking soup kitchen place, but it's boring. Very boring concept , the whole concept is terrible the way it's laid out the service. Everything never going back to the one in Walnut Creek.
google avatar

Yelp
Yum! My fiance and I were looking for a good burger spot and stopped by this place. Their price is a bit high for a "fast food" style place but makes sense for the area. For starters, you have to order first then find a seat. It can be chaotic finding a seat/table for larger groups so I suggest telling one person in the party to order while others try and find a seat. We went on a Saturday around 1:30pm and it was packed. I got the chicken burger which was pretty good. It came with a pickled slaw, cucumbers, and a spicy sauce. I think it was Asian fusion style so it was right up my alley. The fries were also delicious and the chilli was good. I think our total came out to about $54 for two burgers and 2 fries, before tip. Overall, I think I'd be back if I was in the area but it isn't necessarily the best burger spot. I recommend trying this spot for a good American or fusion style burger/sandwich.

Yelp
This place seems like one of those overpriced places to avoid but they have such nice open seating great for large groups when not too busy and outdoor seating on a nice day. For those that want to watch a game there's also bar seating. And, most importantly, fresh tasty foods. First time we came was during their 25th anniversary and they had monthly specials. We lucked out and had their amazing ::::fried green tomatoes:::: special. We came back a second time that month cause it was so good. They have some creative burgers to choose from but they're big so we usually just split one. So fresh n delicious. Coincidentally, they had burgers named after places I was just about to travel to so I've tried the Wisconsin and Texas ones so far! Their food pickup situation is kind of strange tho. Order at entry. If u get soft serve pick it up just to the left of where u ordered. For the rest of ur food, go to the deep end of the restaurant and there's a counter. They also have their condiment bar over there w organic ketchup and their house hot sauce which is pretty tasty. Plenty of parking out back but it can get busy on weekends. Paid street available as well.
google avatar

Rosie M.

Yelp
The Falafel salad is the best thing that I've ever eaten at Gotts. I like it to much that I didn't mind that I forgot to ask for the salad dressing on the side and to remove the feta cheese. I'm so happy because last time, he overcooked burger was super disappointing especially for the overly priced items. I liked that we were able to get parking in the back, and it was pretty convenient to scan the QR code, and I always like cheaper or free safe parking spaces.

Yelp
I was excited when Gott's expanded to Walnut Creek! I came here with my boyfriend and we shared a burger, garlic fries, and crispy brussel sprouts. The service at the counter is always friendly but the rest of our experience wasn't as smooth. The restaurant gets crazy crowded on the weekends and it's nearly impossible to find a table. It's pretty loud with lots of kids running around. We waited about 20 minutes for our food to come out. Our western bacon blue ring burger was good! We would swap out the cheese next time for cheddar. The garlic fries were way too oily and not garlicky enough. We both liked the crispy Brussels the most!
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
This place is very crowded. I ordered ahead of time and the food was ready on time. However, the onion rings and fries were soggy. When I've had it in Napa. They were so crunchy and yummy. The burger was also underwhelming, the meat patty had weird pieces of gristle, I believe. I don't recommend this location.
google avatar

Emi R.

Yelp
I've been going to Gott's roadside since I was a little girl and now that I'm older I love it even more and I'm so happy there's a location in Walnut Creek. I come here almost once a month specifically for the chocolate peanut butter milkshake. It's my favorite when I'm craving something sweet and comforting. The subtle peanut butter which the chocolate Nutella sauce at the bottom really makes for something decadent. I usually also get garlic fries, they are always cooked to perfection never soggy. I sometimes ask for well done tho pro tip. The chicken Cesar salad is always mouth watering. Today I asked for warm grilled chicken instead of the cold chicken it usually comes with and it really made a difference. I also love the hot dog, bacon burger, chili, and impossible chicken nuggets! The service usually is mid level at this location ever time I come it's a weird energy with the staff I've never had service like they love to help and be there it's more like they hire young people who prefer to talk with their coworkers than give you the time of day or talk about the menu. They also have a slow wait time and you might get your food cold or mildly warm but the flavor is a knock out every time. I actually got a parking ticket so be very careful parking in the Ross parking lot. There's plenty of seating inside with an industrial vibe picnic tables as well as outside that's well shaded.
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
All I have to say is, this some expensive ass fast food. I'm glad I tried it but it wasn't anything special. They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of options but nothing really stuck out. If you're looking for fast food burgers, I'd just go to in n out.
google avatar

Marlee B.

Yelp
Burgers! Ahi burger! Salads, fish taco's, milkshakes and cones. What in the F is not to like? Walnut Creek location is a different experience than SF or Napa but the food is consistently the same; fresh and delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Not very good .... Burger....had chile green burger was no flavor Fries meh Shake was good

Yelp
After coming here the first time close to closing time for dinner, I knew I want to come back during the day. This review covers both visits. PARKING: It's nice they have a shared lot to park for free, but it definitely gets filled during the day. At night you can park anywhere and on the streets for free. During the daytime you can also park over by the shopping mall for free the first 3 hours. TIP: You order first before sitting down. So if there is a long line, order online! It's like skipping the line to order and that takes you straight to waiting to pick up your order. Here's what I've had: GARLIC FRIES - $4.99 Tossed in garlic butter and parsley. Only because it's just $0.50 more than regular fries. But I realized I would have preferred just regular fries cuz these just tastes like extra greasy fries. And when it's extra damp, the fries has a different texture almost as though it's stale. No go for me, but I still ate them cuz it's in front of me. ONION RINGS - $4.99 Thick and beer battered. Lightly salted. Oh yeah these were pretty good, and done how I like it! When you take a bite you're not pulling the entire ring inside out. It has a nice balance of sweetness from the onion and I love the light and crispy batter. CHILI - $5.99 House-made beef & bean chili made with craft beer. Topped with cheddar cheese & green onions. To my surprise I was not at all impressed with the chili. Not sure what more I was expected, but it was just okay. I'm still glad I tried it, and know not to bother next time. So many other items to try! CHEESEBURGER - $10.99 American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles & secret sauce on a toasted egg bun. Gotta have the simple regular burger (with cheese) if I'm trying their burgers for the first time. And oh yea, it's a solid one. I love the soft buns and juicy patty. Yummy! CALIFORNIA BURGER - $16.99 Fried egg, Cowgirl Creamery's Wagon Wheel cheese, Zoe's bacon, arugula, balsamic onions & mayo on a toasted sesame brioche bun. Didn't realize this was on a sesame bun, which I'm not a fan of. I wouldn't have not known it was a brioche bun either. It was still a very good burger though! CITRUS & AVOCADO CHOP SALAD - $14.99 Romaine & red leaf lettuce tossed with asado spice-rubbed chicken, cilantro-pumpkin seed dressing, oranges, tomatoes, black beans, pickled red onions & quinoa, topped with avocado, toasted pumpkin seeds & Cotija cheese. Wow, this sure hits the spot! I'm so glad I got this salad! It was so good, with all the variety of ingredients! You have the sweet citrus fruits, the richness from the avocado, dressing and cheese, and all the seeds and everything else. This place is great for large groups, and they have lots of seating options: You have inside, outside along the deck, and their side patio. I'm definitely coming back!
google avatar

Liza L.

Yelp
Came here for an office lunch & honestly cannot wait to come back. The staff is very nice & I feel they sensed it was my first time there... so the man taking my order did a good job at making me feel welcome & also offering additional items that I wouldn't know was an option as a first timer. There's a lot of seating indoor & out, which is great! Food was 10/10, I just wish I couldn't tried a lot more haha. There were so many options that sounded really good & each month they have new/seasonal items. Their teriyaki chicken sandwich was so good. I was afraid the chicken would be dry... but it was not, at all. I tried their fried green tomatoes (September seasonal item) the flavor was good but I'm used to my fried tomato being thinly sliced, so I wasn't used to the tomato being "overpowering." Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Fantastic, ultra kid-friendly burger restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. Incredibly clean, good energy, very safe for kids on the spectrum. The food is 5-star delicious, the service is fast, and the tables are plentiful. We ordered orange floats, tacos, fries, and chicken tenders. Dad ordered the kimchi burger. All of the food was good, but the kimchi burger gave me an honest to god "wow" moment on first taste. So good. Absolutely worth a special trip if you have kiddos who get the wiggles during meals, but you still want to eat some gourmet food and sit for a spell. (I would like to give a special shout-out to the young lady bussing tables yesterday. She was an absolute force of nature, keeping that place spotless, and 100 percent deserves a raise. Well done!) A+ all around. We are definitely coming back.

Yelp
Came into downtown Walnut Creek for a late lunch and happened upon Gott's Roadside. There was no wait and we ordered at the counter. Very easy to place order and found seating outside. It was a little cold so I appreciated the heaters! Food came out in ample time. I ordered the cheeseburger and my husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger and we shared fries. Everything was very tasty! The burger bun held up nicely too, which is a huge plus!! I'd definitely eat here again when in town. Cute little spot!
google avatar

Dani M.

Yelp
I finally decided to try this spot after passing by often. There's a ton of burger joints in Walnut Creek, but I was actually very impressed and satisfied with Gott's and their menu that also offers a plethora of alcoholic beverages. I ordered the California Burger and shared garlic fries and sweet potato fries with my family. The burger could definitely be bigger but the toppings were the perfect combination with a fried egg. It wasn't messy to eat at all compared to other spots. The ranch was mind blowing (if you like ranch, you'll understand). The staff were nice and the prices were average. I'll definitely return to try more items from the menu.
google avatar

Sarretta M.

Yelp
This place is always crowded and finding parking is a challenge, but the food is worth it. The staff is helpful and they work hard to keep things neat (despite the customers). I had the green Chile burger as a lettuce wrap - I asked for well-done, because their standard is medium -well. My son had the Chicken Kale Cesar (huge) and we shared the fried Brussels sprouts and some sweet potato fries. Everything was well- made and delicious! Being there on a Saturday is somewhat trying - lots of families and little kids, so it can be noisy and chaotic. Again, though, the food is worth it!
google avatar

Zach K.

Yelp
Came in for a takeout order of chicken tenders and fries. Ordered separately with my girlfriend who got her order within 20 minutes. I had the exact same order with the addition of French fries. 40 minutes goes by and I ask the staff if my order is almost ready, come to find out they can't find my order. Staff tells me we'll have your order shortly, an hour later my number is called. It's unfortunate that a business this established is consistently having these issues during dinner hours.
google avatar

Estrella M.

Yelp
Not too happy with my Cobb salad. I asked for cheddar instead of blue cheese which I have done in many restaurants and I have never been charged for this change except at Gott's. I wasn't asking for extra cheese I asked for a different cheese. The cashier didn't tell me there would be a charge to boot. The lemon dressing that it came with didn't go and wasn't good. The bacon were teeny tiny bits and the avocado was barely there. Overall not happy and won't be back.

Yelp
Big, spacious location that is clean with friendly service. The Dungeness crab special was OUTSTANDING. They even offered to cut it in half for us when they heard we were sharing. Chili cheese fries were fine but next time might opt for the garlic fries instead - the cheese kinda stuck together and didn't melt onto the fries.

Yelp
Expensive, Tasty Burgers [Walnut Creek CA] We came here on a Sunday afternoon right around lunch time at 11:45a. I did not do the ordering, my kids did while the rest of us went outside and sat in one of the many picnic benches under large umbrellas. The weather was nice, not too hot, even felt a slight breeze at times. I was excited to try this place because I have not made it to their Napa or their SF locations... and here we were in the East Bay in Walnut Creek. The outdoor dining was pet friendly. We had our dog with us. The little food buzzer alerted us at about noon and one of us went inside to pick up our food. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. Others in our party got Kimchi Burger, Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos, California Burger, and Chili Cheese Fries. Daughter didn't like the beans on that Chili Cheese Fries. My Bacon Cheeseburger was delicious, even without the pickles and onions, which I opted not to include, it was still huge and was filling. The prices are on the high side... $14 for my Bacon Cheeseburger, no fries included. Drinks were separate. Good burger though. Review #3436

Yelp
The food here is consistently good. I order the chicken tenders or the chicken salad. I'm glad they opened. It's a good option if you don't want to cook and they seemed to have their takeout nailed down.

Yelp
Stopped by Gott's for lunch while I was in town & got the Baja Fish Tacos with a side of Garlic Fries & the Pistachio Shake! Everything was great! Walked in, there was no wait. The food came out quickly & the customer service was excellent. Staff were super friendly! The garlic fries have always been my favorite, the fish tacos were also full of flavor & the pistachio shake was so good! It even has pieces of pistachio in it. YUM.

Yelp
I've wanted to try the original location in Napa for a while but I never venture that way so when I saw they had a Walnut Creek location I was all in. My visit was yesterday (Saturday) and the line was out the door! I parked and ordered online but the downside is they don't allow any substitution other than removing items. I ordered the Bacon (I'll get back to that) Double Cheeseburger with Onion Rings and my daughter ordered the Wisconsin Burger and Chili Cheese Fries. The bacon double cheeseburger was too big, I should've ordered the single because those patties are really thick. They forgot my bacon and that's a 2.00 difference than the regular double cheeseburger. Seems like this location needs to pay attention to orders because I've seen too many reviews with items missing from the burgers that make a price difference. I want my money back for what I didn't get. The onion rings were delicious and they remained crispy for quite a while. My daughter liked her food with one complaint - the BBQ sauce on her burger tasted like Ketchup so we don't know if this was a mistake or if the BBQ taste like Ketchup, so next time she'll just remove it.
google avatar

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
Two words: garlic fries. If you come to Gott's, you can't skip the garlic fries! They are bursting with garlic flavor, perfectly moist inside yet a satisfying crunch on the outside. I also tried the bacon cheeseburger, which was a solid choice. The soft serve is also a star to finish off the meal. This location was super packed on the weekends, with families and kids running around so it was kind of hard to find a table.

Yelp
First time here because hubby wanted to try it... went to restroom to do my biz and wash up prior to eating... 2 stalls were out of TP around 11:45 am today. I told the front counter about the situation so they can fix. We sat inside and there were a ton of flies inside!!! Annoying we had to keep shooing them away. Service was fine, price is very high and food didn't have much flavor. After $40+ for 1 iced tea, onion rings, 3 chicken strips and a bacon cheeseburger....we had to run to the bathroom. Not sure what is in their grease... but we are both cleaned out. My cheeseburger had processed cheese on it... the cheese never melted!!! Meat seemed very low grade too...Won't be back...unless I need a system cleanse.

Yelp
Place is great, always full of business especially in the summer. The place has outdoor seating and heaters as needed, I love the garage style doors that open in the summer! The food is always tasty, ahi poke tacos is one of my favorite items off the menu even tho it is a burger place. The last burger I had was tasty but the bun was on a dry side which was a bummer. I like the seasonal specials and will be back to a burger again!

Yelp
Came here for lunch with cousins and didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the ahi burger and love that they have lots of choices for everyone even the kids. Will have to come back to try the rest.

Yelp
Not as good as it used to be :( I've always loved Gotts. Haven't had it in awhile and needed dinner before going back home so we stopped here. The first thing that the cashier tells me once I walk in the door is "can you please close the door" okayyy... not even a "hi, welcome to Gott's?" Kind of rude. We ordered a cheeseburger, ahi sandwich, onion rings, and garlic fries. I would say that I enjoyed the sides better than the burgers. I noticed that theyre using a potato bun instead of a regular bun, which I really did not like. With the potato bun you're getting a whole lot of bread. The only time I enjoy potato bread is if i'm eating a chicken sandwich, which I wasn't, So much so that i didn't even eat all the bread on my burger. They also say that the burger is cooked medium well so it's a little pink on the inside, but it was definitely more on the medium side and wayy too pink. I'm just glad that i didn't get sick with food poisoning. I probably won't come back to eat at a Gott's for awhile (until I forget about the experience I had here lol)

Yelp
Updating this review because this location has come A LONG WAY. I actually think it's the best location in the Bay Area now. The food is consistent and delicious. The staff is very friendly and it's a big spacious area (compared to Napa, Ferry Building and Corte Madera) Bravo WC.

Yelp
Solid spot to grab a burger and salad. It's located in the shopping area of Walnut Creek, great downtown area. I love how there were ample outdoor seating for a nice Saturday that's also dog friendly! Our little fur baby was able to join us during the lunch. We got the jalapeno burger, Vietnamese salad, an a pint of Pliny (yes they have pliny!). Total came out to a little less than $50. Standard pricing across the bay area unfortunately. We got our food in 10 minutes around 430pm on a Saturday. Lines started building up by the time we left though! The burger had really good quality beef, but other than that, the burger tasted pretty standard. The Vietnamese salad came with pieces of fried chicken meat on top, I loved it! Even though it's not truly authentic Vietnamese flavors, I still loved the salad. Flavorful, light, and the fried chicken strips on top were wonderful. Wish I can eat this salad everyday! Overall, it's a good option if you want something quick and delicious. There's something for everybody from burgers to salads to tacos to alcoholic drinks. Would totally come back here if we're in the area!

Yelp
This place is really busy and popular. The burgers are really good and they have a full bar for wine and spirits and beer.

Yelp
Unfortunately the good didn't have flavor. We had burgers and onion rings. No flavor on anything.

Yelp
Food was good! Service was quick. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Had to wait about 10 mins for food, but worth it. Oreo shake was great!

Yelp
Had an awesome meal at Gott's Roadside! I went with the garlic fries and a cookies & cream shake, both were insanely good. Fries were golden and packed with flavor, and the shake was thick, creamy, and exactly what I needed. My friend had the grilled chicken salad along with a peanut butter chocolate shake, and they couldn't stop raving about it. Everything tasted fresh, savory, and just downright satisfying. Definitely one of those places you crave again after the first bite.
