"This family-run restaurant overlooking the beach, where the third generation is now in charge (with Longarai sisters Gotzone in the kitchen and Sorkunde in the dining room), has a long and successful history behind it. Here, guests can enjoy Basque cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients, meat from trusted suppliers, as well as superb fish (we recommend asking about the catch of the day), and if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, make sure you order the pan-fried langoustines. It’s well worth booking a dinner table on one of the terraces to enjoy the sunset here." - Michelin Inspector
Just delicious!!! Fresh food at the highest level thanks to the restaurants organic veggie garden. Staff are so friendly. Sea view at sunset is a real treat. Definitely one of the best restaurants along the Cantarían coastline.

The cuisine is simple yet beautiful in its design.
With ingredients so fresh, there’s no need for extravagant addition—just a touch of love to enhance their natural flavors.
This kind of experience can’t be measured by stars.
In the blazing heat of summer, it cools you down.
In a furious storm, it warms you up.
Surrounded by flowers and the gentle rhythm of bossa nova.
It’s a place worth the journey.

Amazing food and service. The scallops are the best. We made a reservation for 2 with a dog ahead through email. They were able to accommodate us even though the weather didn’t permit outdoor sitting. Really appreciate the pet friendly service.

We stopped for a quick lunch… but the experience was just fabulous. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms were so tasty… A surprise in our 4 days of eating in the Basque Country.

Delicious food, ok desserts, great service. The place is on the expensive side but the food is delicious. The desserts could have been executed with more finesse but overall these were ok too.

A gem in the town of Bakio, a hop away from the beach. Catching a sunset from our terrace table was a huge plus. This family run restaurant offers a wonderful marriage of scrumptious local seafood and fresh produce along with warm hospitality by the lady of the restaurant. Each one of us enjoyed and would love to return next time in the Basque region.

This is an amazing little restaurant in the town of Bakio.
The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating to customers.
My husband is Coelaic and so we normally just say no to the bread but they brought out some gluten free bread for him which was amazing!
The food is so tasty and presented very well. A lot of thought has gone into each dish and then menu.
The lady who runs front of house speaks good English and is helpful when deciding what to chose. And then the chef comes out to check all is ok and he is so friendly and nice!
We had a wonderful meal here and would definetly make a detour anytime we were in the area to visit again. Muchos gracias!

Very fine dining, beautiful restaurant, excellent food and service. The staff was extremely attentive and nice.
We loved the turbot and the mushrooms dish.
Please do not believe the bad reviews, it's unbelievable a place like this doesn't have all 5* reviews !

Yelp
Wonderful and casual spot in Bakio that has fine dining and a beautiful courtyard with a view of the sea. The chef is pure genius (and is running out of space for her Michellin stars). I love to see the owner and chef hands-on. They even bus the tables and sweep! So unassuming. It is evidence of their passion for their patrons.
