I recently visited Goudy Honda with the intention of purchasing a specific vehicle, but unfortunately, the experience left a terrible impression and completely changed my view of the dealership. From the moment I arrived, I felt ignored, dismissed, and not heard. What made things worse was how insistent the team was on trying to sell me a different vehicle than the one I had come in for--simply because they didn't have my preferred car in stock. Rather than listening to what I wanted or offering to help me explore options to get the vehicle I was looking for, the Manager, James continuously pushed alternatives I wasn't interested in. The blatant dismissiveness from the General Manager, Pete, was the final straw. Instead of offering support or solutions, his tone and attitude made it abundantly clear that my business wasn't valued. It's unfortunate that Goudy Honda lost my business, especially considering I was ready to move forward. Thankfully, I had a completely different experience at Galpin Honda, where I was treated with care, professionalism, and respect from start to finish. That's ultimately where I chose to purchase my new vehicle--and I couldn't be happier with that decision

Outstanding car dealership, or at least I should say the professional (Karl Manaois) who helped me was. Came in here knowing what I was looking for and Karl was very patient with all my questions as well as with me looking at all the cars. He knew I wasn’t buying the day I came in but still took his time to help me out. I came in the following day and the entire purchase came out exactly how I expected. I got the offers I came in for and got the best financing rate that I qualified for. Karl was never pushy and he made an effort to make sure I got any available offers that I can qualify for (thank you Karl). I’ll conclude by saying that if you are looking for a Honda, come to this dealership and look for Karl specifically if you want the smoothest, no-hassle buying experience. And to Goudy Honda, you have a great sales consultant and should be glad to have him on your team (hire more people like Karl).

Disappointed to say the least. I bought a Toyota 4Runner & the process to purchase was close to 7 hours. First we got there & were being helped by a sales associate & he sees someone else come in & has us “waiting on approval” while he test drives with a customer who had just arrived. Last time i checked the customer who arrives first gets helped first & if that is something they don’t follow, i do not recommend, unless of course you have a whole day to spare. My car was not cleaned properly. Smudges everywhere & a blade under the seat. They said go back monday-friday for a detail clean, because apparently we have all the time in the world for unprofessional people.

I have been looking for an EV for a few years now and I've paid particular attention to the Honda Prologue before it even came into the market. I finally decided to get one last Friday. I've heard great things from friends about Goudy Honda and I made the right decision to get my Prologue there. The dealership has lots of Honda and the staff was professional. I was able to get the Prologue Touring in Pacific Blue color. What a beauty. I have to say that Karl Manaois was courteous, professional and patient with me. He was with me throughout the whole process and made the whole transaction a smooth one and as painless as can be. Thanks to Tito and David as well. They gave me a great deal with lots of rebates. Overall, it was a great experience for me and I will come back again if I ever need another Honda. Thanks guys!

Felt so nice to actually be taken care of by Elmo, my service assistant. made sure i was taken home and that I had a way back. Definitely don't get this kind of service around other honda dealerships. Had my ac recall done here and would absolutely come back. their little waiting room got a coffee machine, sodas, water, and entertainment while you wait.

No problem recommending this place for repair. Only problem that I have with this place is that they do not give courtesy car wash, this man says it's because of Covid! The sad thing is, is that I was there last year and had a courtesy wash, Adam lied straight to my face!!!!

I don't recommend coming here. I got one car here and one car from Monrovia. I've been coming here for services and still till this day, they haven't fix what's wrong with my 2018 Honda Accord. When my car was still under warranty they tried to fix it but never fixed it properly. My usb port has problems and when I play music it shows ipod and says no song but music plays. Next is I can't switch songs, I have to manually use my phone. Also the bluetooth doesn't play music. Works for phone but not for music. I've been asking for years and years and they don't care to solve it. It's sad because during my warranty time they didn't just switch my usb port because online says there was a recall but when I called the man he said there's no recall for my specific car. I'm very upset that this place never fixed what was wrong with my car years ago and now I have a hard time listening to music when driving.

Terrible experience. They lied about having a particular car I wanted and assured me it was there. Drove over an hour just to be given the "we just sold it but we have new ones we can show you " scheme. Also the finance manager I believe his name was titty. He was very pushy and actually threw a tantrum when we didn't let them pressure us into signing anything. Would avoid at all cost. Also they put GPS on all their vehicles and don't tell you about that fee until you get to paperwork so their window sticker is misleading as well.

I have leased or purchased 6 Honda Civics from Goudy Honda since 2002. Although mechanical problems with these cars is very rare, when I needed service, Goudy has always provided the best possible experience. I've been there for recalls and occasional mechanical issues. Having car problems can be so stressful. But Goudy always has time to help me out in the most professional and timely way. They have literally always gotten it right. My A/C failed on a hot summer day. I called Goudy and asked if I could bring it in the next day. They said "Of course", as usual. I spoke with Andy. He asked me what was going on with my car. He explained over the phone what the likely issue was. It turned out to be under a 10 year extended warranty. I got my car back after just a few hours with ice cold A/C and I paid nothing. I think I might be Goudy Honda's biggest fan.

Beyond terrible customer service and a deeply disappointing experience. I was offered -- and ultimately received -- a car loan with an interest rate of 12%, which is shockingly high compared to what other dealerships, like CarMax, offered me (only 6%). Throughout the financing process, there was a clear lack of transparency and communication, which made it difficult to make an informed decision. To make matters worse, I was sold three maintenance services for $500, while I later found out the same services were sold to other customers for just $198. This feels dishonest and unfair. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and misled.

Today Goudy missed out on a second car sale from our family. About a week ago went in to buy a car, everything worked out, sales man made multiple outdated remarks about how the center console was perfect for all of my make up and directing my husband to look under the hood as I clearly would not care about the engine. Then was really pushy on pricing and we walked out. Today my mother in law insisted she look at Goudy for her new CRV. Again leaving was pushy states Costco pricing wasn't available but easy look up and many other Honda dealers offered the pricing. Thank God for Pasadena Honda and their genuine kind sales people. She purchased her car tonight at a much more affordable price. Even able to add on warranty and alarms for still under the price she would have at Goudy.

I scheduled an appointment today 5/16 at 1:00, I've been having issues with my AC and wanted to get a diagnosis. When I get to my appointment they immediately ask if I can leave it over night, I responded that I could and asked if that meant it would be looked at/worked on first thing Saturday morning. He responded no, most likely won't be until Monday. (Guess that's over night for them) I understand things get busy, but if I schedule an appointment I would expect to get at least a diagnosis and a possible reschedule for the actual fix, but to get a scheduled appointment pushed days is a bit ridiculous.

Service review only. I bought my Honda clarity PHEV at a different dealer and moved to this area and have been taking my car to this dealer for service for the past five years or so. Appointments are recommended but not required. It doesn't necessarily speed up the service since just depends on so many factors like how busy it is and how long your car needs to take. They (service people) can be a bit unresponsive like other reviews say but generally do their best to get my car ready by the time they promised otherwise they give me a call or text to tell me what else needs to be done or if there's a hold-up. They generally do not provide free rides back to your house or if you want to be dropped off somewhere instead of waiting around onsite. I usually can get things done since they have a pretty big waiting area with wifi. Alternatively the Main Street or downtown Alhambra area is a short walk away (many restaurants, a Starbucks, some shopping and sprouts grocery store). Overall it's a great place to service your Honda and ensure your car is in tip top shape.

Upon arrival, my service consultant, Ivan Castro, was curt and unhelpful rushing me to authorize a $210 diagnostic fee for my 2024 HR-V (under 9K miles), which is still under warranty. There is a current recall going on for the gearbox for Honda SUVs to which my appointment was for that took over five hours to complete although I had scheduled the appointment over a month ago. When I received my car, windows were rolled down, no protective film on the contact areas and most importantly where was the key to my vehicle? Meanwhile, other customers received keys promptly and had protective film on their vehicles. This raises concerns about possible discrimination. Therefore, I asked to be directed to Service Supervisor, John Wilson. When I spoke with John to express my concerns, he misconstrued my complaint as a request for free service, rather than acknowledging my dissatisfaction with the lack of respect and professionalism. John did not provide any actionable steps, take any accountability or provide any reassurance. As a loyal Honda customer and owner of multiple vehicles from the brand, this experience was unacceptable and has left me with a lasting negative impression of Goudy Honda.

Wasting the customers time is a sin. Wasting the customers time on their only day off is even worse. Gaudy Honda lets you book service appointments via their website and that's exactly what I did. I arrived 30 minutes early and patiently waited for a Service Rep to get me checked in etc. for a basic oil change. She proceeded to tell me she would not be able to get me checked in for 3 hours. 3 HOURS. I was at the dealership ON TIME, with an APPOINTMENT and I was told they overbooked. Overbooking is one thing, if it takes 3 hours just to check someone in for a BASIC OIL CHANGE you clearly do not know how to run a service department and should try another field for work. Is Gaudy going to pay for the gas it took for me to drive over? no. Is Gaudy going to compensate me for wasting the time it took to get there, to wait to be seen, and then leave me with nothing? no. I wasn't about to leave the car there just for them to tell me they could need to keep it overnight for a BASIC OIL CHANGE which is supposed to be covered under their own service agreement. I had other things to do on my only day off, and I wasn't going to risk it especially when they clearly cant handle the basics of scheduling management. So, in conclusion if you want to waste your ENTIRE day waiting to be seen for a BASIC OIL CHANGE let alone anything more complex, Gaudy Honda is the place to go!

EXTREMELY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS. Had an appt at 7am on 11/21/24. Checked in 6:59am. David told not ready by 1pm since it was a big job. Was told will take only 4-5 hrs for the RECALL FUEL PUMP replacement and was not told to clear out back seat when booking the appt. Mechanic cleared Personal belongings which I preferred not to be touched by anyone. Called to check since the deadline of 1pm passed, no call to pick up my car. David finally called 2:56pm stated working on my car. He called back 3:36pm said ready to pickup. Only take about 40 mins to 1 hour max, NOT a big job as David lied through his teeth. It's because I was bypassed by other customers' repairs with immediate payments while my recall repair was put on the back burner. GREAT business ethics or the LACK of. Is it how they treat loyal customer since I bought 2 cars from this dealership. I didn't deserve that kind of service. GOUDY HONDA HAD FAILED MISERABLY. They deserve a BIG FAT ZERO rating.

This was absolutely the quickest, easiest, and smoothest car buying experience that I ever had.....and they offered the best price out of several dealers that I approached. I have to personally thank Brian, Jerry, Robert, and Rafael for their friendly, professional, and exceptional customer service. I had an impacted schedule and they were able to tune in on that and they expedited everything. We quickly came to an agreeable price (I did know what I wanted and what I was willing to pay prior to talking with them), but after that they quickly had the paperwork ready, and I swear that I was out the door in 20 minutes with a new car. After being disappointed with Pasadena Hondas sales department. I bought a 2020 Honda Hrv sport from Goudy Honda. I love my car and was very happy with it until I had a problem with my tail lights just stoped working. I took my car in and Chastity helped me. She was great and gave me a loaner and fixed my car. I couldn't be happier with the service I got in 2020 when I bought my HRV and again with the service department in 2025. I will buy my next car and recommend to my friends and family to go to Goudy Honda.

Give a comprehensive familiarization with your cars. Teach your F&I managers how to fill out a proper license transfer when the car being traded has a personalized license plate. The F&I manager at Goudy listed my plate as lost or stolen and I'm stuck at the DMV while they try to figure out how to transfer my vanity plate to the Honda.

Daniel Tieu was my service rep today. My project was a long AC repair and Daniel was able to take care of me and finish the project within the day. Service was excellent and he communicated to me well via texting for status updates. Appreciate Daniel and his service for going above and beyond. My recommendation to all is make to make an appointment using the online system in advance, and come early. Also text for status updates that's a nice feature.

I would like to say that this dealer made my dream come true, I was struggling with my old car, I never thought I could get a brand new one, I got recommended this place from my boss, I went with my husband to take a look a the cars they had just to have an idea of how much we were gonna pay, I ended up getting out with a new car! I took my car in last week Wednesday because my ac was not cooling and it kept losing power. The ac would blast in full power when I first turned it on but then would lose power minutes later. Occasionally it would blast powerfully again before losing power and barely throwing air. I explained this to the service advisor who told me that it sounded like the car needed ac service (A/C System Evac and Recharge). The service advisor told me that if the technician found any other issue they would call me to let me know. I did not receive a call and got a text later letting me know my car was ready. Therefore no other issues were found. The service form has a note that says, "FOUND THAT THE A/C SYSTEM IS OPERATING NORMALLY AFTER REPAIR WAS MADE" Goudy charged me $382.09. The a/c in my car is not cooling and the issue of it losing power is continuing. I plan to take the car back to Goudy so they can correct the poor job they performed on this service that I paid for. I will update this review once Goudy does the right thing by providing the service that I already paid for.

Just purchased a new 2024 Honda Civic for our son and it was literally the best experience we've had. We have purchased 7 Hondas over the last 15-20 years and this was our first time at Goudy. From the moment we stepped on the lot, we were treated extremely nice. Our sales person, Alfonso and his manager Art were very personable and we worked out a deal we are very happy with. Took my SUV in for oil change today. I always schedule appointments with Wilson Yu. He is very professional and knowledgeable and has serviced my car for several years now. I appreciate his attentiveness when we are speaking, makes sure my car is always done in a timely manner and is always willing to answer and research any questions I have. Had a great experience with Goudy Honda. I went to another Honda dealer ship before this one wanting to get a new Vehicle. Well the other place was literally making me feel like I was forced into another vehicle that I wasn't ready to decide on. An the sales man would literally follow me to bathroom to make sure I didn't leave... Well I came here an I felt much more comfortable and wasn't rushed and they stayed on their work to give me the best offer. They were so helpful an friendly. If I could give zero stars I would! Crooks! Dishonest. I have driven Hondas my whole life and thought I could trust them with trading in my son's Honda Accord. He called and spoke with them and very honestly told them his car needed a new transmission but it was time for a newer used car. They quoted him between $1800-$2000. We had it towed to the dealership where they proceeded to pull a fast one, as our AAA driver warned us they would, and lowballed us for $500! Why lie to a young person who was honest with them, sent photos and gave all the details. By the way, the car had low mileage and was in otherwise great shape. It's worth $2000 for the parts alone. New catalytic converter was $1800 and they know that. I am thoroughly disgusted and will never do business with them again. Mind you this is after owning 5 Hondas and going there for service for a decade. However after realizing they were gouging us for repairs we used an honest local mechanic for the past decade.

Ruined my alternator during oil change. Spilled oil on my alternator. Technician didn't use a funnel. After a few weeks there was a burning rubber smell then a whirling sound. Had to pay out of pocket to fix it. . Terrible service!

I usually don't write negative reviews but I was so mad I had to share my horrible experience yesterday with the Part's Department. The skinner guy with darker hair behind the counter that didn't have a name tag was cold and had no personality. ( He ain't no Helpful Honda People ) that's for sure. The only communication we had was: - "What are you looking for?" I then told him I was looking for wiper Inserts which they have it in back in the stock room. Then it was complete Awkward silence and he was just typing on the computer for a good 5 minutes, he then walks away to the back without saying a word. After he came back the 2nd thing that he said was: - "It's gonna be $35.54 plus tax, cash or credit card?" He printed out a receipt when I wasn't made aware or agreed on the price. Shouldn't you let the customer know beforehand on the price before you except them to be "Lay Downs" and just pay for 3 "windshield wiper inserts" for almost $40 bucks. I was there for other parts as well but after he the way he treated me I just left and went to Honda of DTLA the next day that was closer to work and it only cost $20 including tax for all 3 wipers. There is markup on vehicle but I didn't know there are markup on parts as well. Treat your customers as human being instead of a money sign and have some personality since you work in retail!!!

Service Department: *WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT Had my windshield replaced 2 years ago. The service consultant (I'm sorry, it's been so long I forgot his name, but he was a senior service member) was helpful in determining that my insurance got the wrong quote (the quote included calibration which would have cost more). They even said that they could recommend me to a separate business that could do it for cheaper. I was tired of jumping through hoops with insurance and getting to that point that I proceeded with Goudy. It took a week to ship the glass from the East Coast and they updated me on the progress throughout the week. *INTERIOR DETAILING Recently had a pretty bad spill in the car. We saw that Honda offered interior detailing services and got a quote on the phone and made an appointment 2 days out online for 1:30PM. When we got there, the service consultant Wilson Yu said that because it was "late" in the day, they couldn't do the detail because they had to work on other cars, and to come the next day. My schedule wasn't flexible so he went and talked to someone and said that he found someone to do the detail. When I went to pick it up at 5:30, they said that because it was a late service, they couldn't air out the car as much, which is understandable. The detail was great! And really affordable. I think they even wiped down the outside of my car. Thankful for their service

Karl was very helpful, friendly and kind in giving me top value for my old car and giving me a good deal on my new HRV. Had a really great experience here! This review is specifically for your Service Advisor Elmo O. who did an outstanding job. He made sure to go above and beyond to help us and has been incredibly helpful to help us resolve our concern immediately and did so in such a positive matter. For context, we went to a different Honda location and the difference was night and day. The other Honda location was not helpful at all and didn't even bother to tell us about our options. From the start, I could tell that we were in good hands and Elmo was up front and honest from the start which is very important when leaving your car to mechanics, you want trustworthy people working on your car and you guys have that with the mechanics and service providers in Goudy Honda. Excellent customer service makes your customers feel valued and heard which is exactly what your Service Provider Elmo did for us which definitely left a positive impression of Goudy Honda. You've earned our business and from now on, we will be servicing our car at your location or for any future trade ins or leases for that matter. We have nothing but positive things to say about your company thanks to Elmo and will definitely recommend you guys to all of my friends and family. My review is for the service department. My splash shield fell off while driving and was destroyed. I took it in early before work and was assisted by Ivan. He was so helpful in explaining what needed to be done and getting me a quote fast. The job was a bit expensive in my opinion, but it was something I needed taken care of fast- so I agreed to have it done. He also let me know about my air conditioner warranty and told me to let them know if I had any issues in the future. I let him know that I was indeed already having problems! So he said they would take care of that as well. He had the receptionist get me a Lyft to get to work and by the time I was leaving work he called and let me know my car was ready! No inconvenience at all and my car and ac are like new! Thanks to Ivan and everyone else in the service department!

Tell Lang to stop his threats. Hey guys, all 10th Gen Honda accords are lemons. There is actually a few thousand that had the same issues I was telling them. Gas ends up in the oil. Pull out your oil dip stick wipe clean, than dip all the way down and than check by smell. If u smell gasoline, your transmission will blow. Just like my cars electrical is just horrendous. Get in the lawsuit. Make Honda pay for exactly what I got into an argument about with them. Lang. A son of a salesman who got in my face because I didn't want to buy my son the Honda there. You want some? I don't forget. I dont forgive. Expect me!

Nov 30, 2022 i just want get oil change and the customer service told me they found something else. I agree to let them do it even its not in my budget and pay it for 15months installment. Like they are rubbing you, the sad thing i want them to give me the parts they change (host) but they said its hazardous. And also they didn't take a picture at least to show me that the parts they change. So until Now I'm not confident. And I'm the last customer on that day. The mechanic driving may car is reckless i see it, but i keep silence. The main part is the flashing red if you are locking your car disappear and i go Back their and let them know. The customer service guy give me a number to call to fix, when i call the number they said they fix "alarm" only so right now I'm paying my car and they get rid off my flashing to let you know it is lock.
