Beyond terrible customer service. Upon arrival, my service consultant, Ivan Castro, was curt and unhelpful rushing me to authorize a $210 diagnostic fee for my 2024 HR-V (under 9K miles), which is still under warranty. There is a current recall going on for the gearbox for Honda SUVs to which my appointment was for that took over five hours to complete although I had scheduled the appointment over a month ago. When I received my car, windows were rolled down, no protective film on the contact areas and most importantly where was the key to my vehicle? Meanwhile, other customers received keys promptly and had protective film on their vehicles. This raises concerns about possible discrimination.
Therefore, I asked to be directed to Service Supervisor, John Wilson. When I spoke with John to express my concerns, he misconstrued my complaint as a request for free service, rather than acknowledging my dissatisfaction with the lack of respect and professionalism. John did not provide any actionable steps, take any accountability or provide any reassurance. As a loyal Honda customer and owner of multiple vehicles from the brand, this experience was unacceptable and has left me with a lasting negative impression of Goudy Honda.
