"Doughnut-slinging Gourdough’s is closing its physical restaurant this weekend. The restaurant was known for its very decadent doughnuts and doughnut dishes both sweet and savory." - Nadia Chaudhury

I've been here twice and both times have been excellent! They're menu has something for everyone and definitely save room for dessert! The Ron burgundy burger is delish and the black Betty is just the right amount of sweet and tart

Came for lunch about noon and since the inside was packed we sat outside. Our server tana was great and smiled constantly. There are trees outside and misters to help with the heat but that only does so much once the sun comes out. We sat at a table for two on the wall, we were talking to a four top in the middle but the host guided us away even though there was only one large party by the donut and a two top in the middle. I would have been fine but for some reason, there are metal things protruding out of the wall so I kept hitting my elbow which is frustrating. I had to sit at a weird angle then the sun was in my eyes, today was just a day. The Arnold palmer is great and the bendy straws are a cute bonus. The chicken pot pie was good too. The dirty bird was good the first half but the second you could tell there was too much lemon pepper seasoning coating for my liking and the bottom donut was soggy. Great concept but needs a little work in my opinion.

It's over the top. It's amazing. It's a blast and outrageous and a down south guilt pleasure. Get these big fat donuts! At least try them once. There's a reason why there is so much hype around this place. I love the variety of sweet and savory options. Portion sizes are huge but you're also paying for presentation. The country clucker was by far my favorite- it's served with creamed corn and candied jalapeños! If you can only pick one- then I'd go with sweet because that's what they are famous for and you can at least remember your last few moments in Austin with a sweet sugar coma.

Excellent food, drinks, and service! We were able to bring our dogs on the patio for brinch underneath misters and lounging in the shade. We ordered thw drunken hunk, diablo, country clucker, and shared a sin-a-bomb. Absolutely delicious. Awesome coffee and the drinks were great quality and well priced. Meagan was our server and had great recommendations. They even brought out ice water for the puppies. Not a single complaint, we loved our experience here. Great job!

At this place it was a more memorable experience than expected. We had some good menu items that were a burst of flavors that satisfied the taste buds. I give the whole experience a very good rating and I will be back sooner rather than later. Our only complaints were that it was very hot inside of the resturant. Not sure if it was just in the part we sat in, but it was bearable enough to eat and then get our dessert to go. Also, if you try the Rise & Shine, just know that the pico is very spicy. It was kind of a surprise. The waiter was very courteous and we tipped because of it. So the overall experience was top notch!!!!!

OMG. I've never had a lunch like that. I gotta say, the waiter was excellent, very attentive and friendly, while the food selections were pretty interesting. We went there decided to have dessert donuts everybody. First the maple-bacon donut (Flying Pig) was the best of it's kind, sweet and salty in it's greatness, like having brunch. Then the Nutty Valentine with Nutella and strawberries, a favorite for almost every kid (young and old). Finally the Ring O' Fire, spicy but not too much with a lot of chocolate, deliciously great. But the star of the date was the lunch special, the chicken dumplings with garlic donut, definitely the best.

Fun fact, you won’t find a single glazed donut here. What you will find is donut hamburgers, donut sandwiches and even donuts with salad. Fun atmosphere, unique dining experience and great food. I had a “Double D” burger (made single patty) which was very tasty but a little messy with the Buffalo sauce leaving a soggy donut bottom. I prefer a traditional bun for my burgers but was definitely enjoyable, but very feeling. My friend ordered a wedge salad served with chicken fried bacon and tasty chunks of blue cheese. This place is excellent for a fun outing with the fam!

Absolutely delicious! Such a fun environment and fun foods to choose from on the menu. Their dessert donuts are amazing.. I was in Austin just a week and HAD to go back for dessert a second time! *Donuts are light and soft on the inside with a subtle crisp outside. They’re unglazed making a perfect sandwich.. not sticky or messy!
