Yelp
Tiny place carries a large assortment of hard-to-find Russian deli items. The lady that runs the place has a working understanding of English if you talk slow to help.
Every time I'm in San Francisco, I stop in for delicious Russian candy or dried fish. This time I got some Shuba as well. (Russian herring salad "under a coat" is made of finely chopped pickled herring, eggs, beets, carrots, potatoes, and dressing. The traditional layered salad, known as shuba or seledka pod shuboĭ, takes its name from the outer layer that completely covers the salad.) Delish.
Stop in its fun.
