"Opened September 22 as a Randolph sibling to Medford’s Neighborhood Kitchen, offering Caribbean-Asian–inspired dishes such as oxtail sandwiches, jerk lamb lollipops with djon djon rice and plantains, honey pineapple wings, and fried red snapper with indoor seating and takeout/delivery." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Jerk wontons were DRY 🌵 , I recommend adding a side of Jerk sauce or some dipping sauce. Wings weren’t fresh as I would hope. They weren’t CRISPY, but soggy like. Wild blueberry buffalo sauce was good though.

The meat and the rice were bone free, well seasoned, and delicious!!! A little dry, but I was doing a “too good to go” bag at the end of the day, so that’s okay. I will have to come back for more! Parking is tricky, because there is one entrance and one exit and they are not obvious, so be aware and careful when pulling in (especially if you’re crossing multiple lanes of traffic to do it), but there is free parking. Also, lots of black ice right now in the lot, which is not the businesses fault, as I’m from of them it’s fine, but just be careful!!!

I love this hidden gem! Extremely upset didn’t find this place sooner! They have awesome delicious fusion menu! Different background Caribbean food, Spanish, and Asian! Definitely coming back to try some of their famous fusion food!!

There's better places out there, not much to choose from on the menu. The oxtail burger barely had any oxtail for the $24 spent. Not impressed at all..

Don’t go there, save yourself just don’t go. I’ve always heard people say Haitian restaurants have terrible customer service, and today I saw it firsthand. I stood outside for 20 minutes — not one person acknowledged me. When someone finally came out, I told him I wanted to place an order. He said he couldn’t take it because there were people ahead of me. Fine. So I asked how long the wait would be , this musty, unprofessional dude with dirty-looking hair just stared at me, turned around, slammed the kitchen door, and disappeared. No explanation. No ‘sorry.’ Nothing. All he had to do was say they weren’t taking more orders or give me an estimate. The place was dead clearly not busy — so I don’t know where the attitude came from. Maybe that’s why the restaurant is struggling. But bad business isn’t an excuse to treat people like garbage. That kind of behavior is exactly why customers don’t come back. Do better. I will report the the city because it’s against the rules not having a cook, a dishwasher to handle the kitchen it was a dirty guy with no gloves on who was cooking , cleaning and serving I guess this why he disrespected me like that because he was struggling and slaving in the back kitchen because the was no kitchen staff on site.

Not bad for a late night freshly cooked meal! We arrived after 9pm and they were kind and gracious, cooking us shrimp and grits, fried haddock, pasta, plantains and mac and cheese. I was delighted to find my mac was oven baked. Grits were great, as were the spicy pickled vegetables. Take out remained hot on our 35 min drive home :). Mostly meat options but I think that comes with the territory of this cuisine

I placed a pre-order yesterday for pickup at 8:30PM. I have Haitian guests visiting from out of town. I’ve been wanting to give this place a try, so I figured this would be a good opportunity to do so. 1.) I was told that the pikliz had ran out for the day, even though I had pre-ordered from earlier in the day, and my order contained griot! So I had to scramble late at night to find a restaurant that I could buy pikliz from. Highland Cuisine in Somerville saved me because, they closed late at 11 PM. So on my way to the airport to pick up my brothers, I swung by there to order pikliz. 2.) The food was below subpar. Online the food looks great, but it was lacking reviews and that should’ve been a red flag for me. The Spaghetti djon djon had no flavor except that it tasted like flour. The rice wasn’t any better, the griot was hard as rocks and at first sight I knew I needed to find pikliz to serve with them. The only good feedback that I received from my brothers was the jerk chicken wontons. I do not recommend gourmet kitchen in Randolph for Haitian food. We all were so disappointed.

Google
Def not the best jerk chicken I've ever had, but I got it pulled and close to closing so I can't take away too much praise. The ambiance was great; they have great branding and the staff is excellent. Just a lot of boxes taking up a quarter of the resturant and one table completely taken up with a laptop and other miscellaneous personal items. They are brand new so I'm sure in time it'll change. Either way, service was amazing. Rice, amazing Plantains, amazing Jerk chicken, tasted like store baught jerk sauce. Definitely recommend tho as their prices are fair and they give a lot of food per order.

Yelp
Ten out of ten. Amazing burgers, jerk chicken, grilled veggies. Service with a smile in a very clean and classy environment. More than a cafe, less than a restaurant, it's a gourmet kitchen. Seriously one of the top 10 burgers of all time.

Yelp
Nothing gourmet about this place. I should have listened to the reviews. I asked for a gourmet chicken sandwich (with plaintains)..brought it to work all happy! I opened it..and there's NO chicken patty ‍. All they gave me was 2 pieces of bread, bacon, avocado & lettuce. This place is a shame to the Randolph community, who serves a plethora of Haitians.

Yelp
Came here twice. The first time I felt the food was better. Food I tried: Djon djon rice Jerk wings (custom) Spaghetti Plantains Jerk Chicken Oxtail The first time I tried, the djon djon rice was made well. The second time I visited, not sure what happened but the djon djon wasnt the same. Jerk Chicken and oxtail were good. No tap water, just bottled. I would come back though! Parking: free lot Service: good Attire: casual Ambiance: small shop mostly for takeout. I didn't see many people dining in.

Yelp
The food was really good and pretty fresh. The spicy chicken was everything. It definitely hit the spot. The service was good very friendly and funny. The ambiance is definitely a vibe. I would definitely comeback.

Yelp
Friendly service and food prepared with love. You can taste the clean ingredients. The griot is on point as well as the creole chicken in sauce. The rice was a little less flavorful than I'm used to but good nonetheless. Would try again

Yelp
Small restaurant in Randolph, MA that has fusion of flavors in their cuisine. The presentation was beautiful but with each bite I felt it was missing something. Many options that was presented on the menu were not available. The black rice was room temperature, and lacked Haitian seasoning. The jerk chicken was a miss while lacking the expected heat. The music that was playing in the background was fun and entertaining. The server was friendly.

Yelp
Gourmet kitchen is truly a hidden gem. We absolutely love them and have food catered from them for our events. If you love jerk chicken, teriyaki salmon, and Mac and cheese this is the place to go. I highly recommend it. Support your local business.

Yelp
My boyfriend gives this place a 5 but I'm giving it a 4. I love this place however, when I received my ox tail it was kind of cold. Other than that, the customer service is great. There are a variety of food to choose from including Mac and cheese, Asian fusion, Haitian inspired food and burgers! The prices are definitely taxed but the food is amazing. Overall, I would definitely come back to this place again.

Yelp
Came here with a friend from out of town, and it was both of our first time. First and foremost, the sign comes up quick so be careful not to miss it. The place is super clean, and the girl taking our order was very patient and nice. We both ordered Rasta pasta with chicken and shrimp, although it was yummy, it was entirely too spicy! The spice was unbearable, and we are both familiar with spice. So if you do order the pasta, and you can't handle spicy foods, l suggest letting them know to tone it down. The shrimp was very dry and overcooked, the chicken was alright. I wish it was paired with garlic bread but it's a great portion size and enough on its own. The jerk chicken Rangoon was good, and tasted fresh along with the sweet plantains that we got as well. The menu was a bit pricey, but typical for local owned businesses in this economy. All in all, we enjoyed our experience and definitely will be back again to try the other dishes.

Yelp
Food is scrumptious! Awesome aesthetic and great music! I can't wait to eat here again.

Yelp
Happened to walk past this place on my way to a different place and the wonderful smell made me stop. I'm so glad that I did. This little place had some amazing jerk chicken and rice. Service was slow but very kind. Not her fault probably the kitchen behind with all the pickup orders going out. I don't know why more people haven't reviewed it but there was steady business the whole time I was there.

Yelp
Just had the jerk chicken, oxtail, and djon djon rice. The oxtail fell of the bone. Both the oxtail and jerk chicken were tender, well seasoned, and very tasty. We will definitely be back. So happy to have a local spot that can make such delicious food! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of finally trying the food here , since i heard so much about them. I had a big order because there menu is so many intriguing. I ordered the salmon spring rolls, jerk chicken wontons , braised oxtails, jerk lamb chops, gourmet Mac n cheese, and sweet plantains. All the dishes were full of flavor, my favorites were the braised oxtails and jerk chicken wontons. My issue with the salmon rolls and lamb chops had to much oil. That's something they need to work on. Besides that they had great customer service and the waiting time was 30 mins which i found reasonable. I will most deff return !

Yelp
Met up with an old friend and we decided to try something new. So glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the pineapple honey wings, oxtails, black rice, and the superb gourmet mac and cheese! Everything was scrumptious and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. The music was relaxing, not loud and no naughty words! We would definitely tell all our friends and visit again soon. Linda

Yelp
Great food.always fresh! The shrimp is really good and the portions aren't bad at all

Yelp
I am PISSSEEEDDD. I ordered the honey pineapple wings on Grubhub around 7:30 pm. I waited over an hour for my order to be delivered. They gave me the wrong order. I was given spicy/bland wings. I can't eat spicy foods because of my digestive system. I couldn't call the restaurant because by the time my order was delivered, the restaurant was closed. I am very upset. I wasted my money on chicken wings that I did not want and can't eat
