I get breakfast here all the time. They make a mean BEC, they use 2 eggs, not cheap like other places. Everything is always top notch, the place is clean, their buffet food is all very good. Their Korean food is especially good.

If you are walking around the area looking for a good DELI- just STOP LOOKING and go here. Highly recommend. Friendly staff, YUMMY deli sandwich. I asked for a veggie hero sandwich which wasn't on the menu, but the kind man behind the counter made it work for me! He packed that hero with grilled veggies, fresh arugula and fresh veggies...and toasted it! It was perfect, and exactly what I was looking for. My friend and I walked a few blocks looking for a deli sandwich, and we were so happy to come across Grace Cafe! It helps that everyone there working was very friendly. They've got a hot bar, salad bar, of course deli, and lots of snacks, etc! Great environment, clean and good vibe! We were in and out in less than 5 minutes!

Stopped in for my last meal in NYC before heading back home and it did not disappoint! I was definitely leery seeing the large buffet station in the middle of the bodega, but I ordered two of the breakfast combos and both good for what they were. I ordered the two eggs, any style meat platter, and the stuffed French toast. The "stuffed" French toast is really stuffed per day, but does come with a healthy portion of cream chesse and grape jelly in between the French toast. The two egg meat platter comes with a side of toast, and I got mine with sausage and scrambled with cheese. Other than adding some salt and pepper, everything was delicious as is. Definitely would stop in again for a quick meal, perhaps for lunch next time.

Google
Crazy how I go there for a breakfast sandwich (Egg white sausage and bacon) Monday it's 625 Tuesday 725 and today 2/12/25 and it's 825 for the same sandwich nothing extra. Usually I'll get a tea with my sandwich but I had a feeling not to today because they changed the price the day prior and then today, I'll never go back there again and hope they close or shut down. It's Ludacris how your prices jump daily. I'll never buy ANYTHING from there again. Good Luck with your business.

Google
Love the breakfast here. Very quick service and good prices. The buffet takeout is best at lunch time as some of the food gets a little dried the longer it sits. There is a good selection of salads and fruit though that seems to be restocked regularly.

I just ate from this place and the BLT that I ordered was OK but then when I got my drink, it was a nestquick drink in a drink it and I didn’t even know that it was expired until I read the expiration date.

Google
Very well prepared food at moderate prices! You are greeted by the owner when you walk in and when you leave!

Yelp
Came in for the hot bar lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I came in at 12 so everything was super fresh still. The pork belly was nice and fatty and the teriyaki chicken was super flavorful and I don't even like teriyaki chicken that much It was a little pricey but I did get a lot of food. Next time I will know what to get and what to expect as in price

Yelp
Grace Cafe is a popular spot that gets super crowded, and after trying their burnt cheesecake, I can see why! The cheesecake was absolutely delicious, a definite must-try. However, my experience with the mango shaved ice was a bit disappointing. The mango wasn't ripe and lacked sweetness, and the flavoring they used tasted artificial. The cafe is quite spacious, but it can get loud due to the crowd. Their menu is extensive, which made me wonder how they manage to keep up with everything. Aside from the cheesecake, nothing really stood out to me. Be prepared for slightly higher prices, too. Overall, if you're a cheesecake lover, Grace Cafe is worth a visit, but don't expect too much from the other items on the menu.

Yelp
I came here multiple mornings as it was around the corner from my hotel, and they had a deal where you got a voucher for a free breakfast. I didn't actually eat the food here, opting to use my coupon for coffee & drinks instead. (No disrespect to their menu - it looked pretty good, but I had my heart set on my favorite bagel place.) Nice variety of prepared and packaged foods, and a seating area upstairs. The staff were hardworking and friendly. The woman owner encouraged me to grab extra items to meet my voucher limit, which was super nice of her. Also gave me a bag and straw for my bottled drinks without me asking. Great little midtown bodega.

Yelp
Very good breakfast and reasonable prices. We vacationed and was told by hotel to have breakfast here. Will Be returning in the future.

Yelp
Ordered Mealpal from here to times for lunch and enjoyed it both times. One time was vegetable one time with spicy pork bibimbap. Portions were just right and each ingredient was seasoned well. Overall, great meal. It does get quite busy during lunchtime, so just take note."

Yelp
Stopped in here for breakfast twice on a 4-day trip to NYC, it was just that good. It has that awesome hole-in-the-wall ambiance, which is always important to me when looking for a bite to eat. There's a seating area upstairs as well as a bathroom. The service was very quick and friendly, and the price was very reasonable for breakfast for two plus drinks. Now for the food; the roll was good, perfect amount of ketchup, it wasn't leaking out of the sides but every bite had just enough sweetness to it. The egg was cooked to perfection, a little runny to create the perfect sauce to help soften the roll. The bacon was great, crispy and flavorful. Will definitely come back here on my next trip to NYC!

Yelp
Stale bread on a Saturday at 2pm. Had to throw my sandwich away. I told him about the stale bread and his response was, "that's all I have". 11$ down the drain. And the roast beef was dry and well done too. A shame.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the store with a café inside, the food was pretty good since it was prepared as you ordered it, the service was pretty fast The ambience was pretty casual for a quick bite to eat,This is a cute little place.

Yelp
I came by here to get some food for lunch. I got some chicken that was at the hot bar. The place is prettu small so it gets crowded very fast. I was able to pay for my order quickly with no issues. They do take credit cards if needed.

Yelp
Never go there for Mealpal. They're not ready with the meal posted on Mealpal most of the time, Bibimbab is never available on Monday, but they still keep posting it. They are not sorry about it and offer cheaper meal for substitute. I ordered chicken dish and they offered veggie only dish. I asked for at least the same value meal, and they kept saying no. Upsetting. After 15 mins complaining and I told them I wouldn't leave if they don't give me the same value food which was chicken instead of only veggies, they finally gave me the freaking chicken. I would never go there again.
google avatar

Yelp
They have really good breakfast sandwiches. I've worked in this area for 4 years and they have some of the best breakfast around. Great prices and it's always busy but you still get your food in good timing! I just wish the bread was kept covered up.
google avatar

Yelp
It's part of my MealPal plan. Korean food so satisfying. I had beef bibimbap. Seasoned perfectly, lots of veggies. It's one of my favorites. Used to come w soup but I guess it's sign of the times n no more free soup. Bibimbap is always good always filling.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
I've only come here to pick up food. Prices are cheap and the portions are pretty filling. The Mexican Panini tastes really good and is super filling. They made it fresh for me and put quite a bit of chicken and toppings in it. However another time, it was already prepped and they just had to heat it up. At lunch sandwiches come with a small bottle of water or soda. They have some other breakfast and lunch specials. I've also tried their vegetable bibimbap which comes with a nice variety of greens, a nicely fried egg, the sauce, and a little bit of kimchi. They have a $7 card minimum.
google avatar

Yelp
I had reserved mealpal and showed the owner proof of my reservation. He said that all mealpal meals were gone and refused to give me any food. I understand it must be frustrating, knowing that someone was given an extra mealpal, or they simply did not make enough. However to treat a customer who was not at fault is unacceptable. As a healthcare provider, after a busy morning of seeing patients and being treated with such disrespect amidst coronavirus is really disappointing.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast. This place was okay, it was across the street from our hotel. They were setting up for lunch which looked like it had lots of options. We had the pancakes that weren't that good. My husband had the burrito and said it needed seasoning. The bacon was okay and the eggs were fine but needed seasoning as well. The busser came up stairs cleaning tables and making People move which was rude. The girl at the register was nice. It was nice to try but I wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Because Grace Cafe's prices can't be beat, it's all of my colleagues' daily coffee destination. $1 coffees. $2.50 eggs and cheese on a bagel. Fruit on-the-go. Entire meals for under $10. The quality of the breakfast food, namely the bagels, is a few standard deviations away from Best Bagel a few blocks away, but worlds cheaper and faster. One day, I'll indulge in their fried chicken... It's a very casual deli, with seats and a bathrooms upstairs. You can find both tourists and locals here, especially since it's so close to Port Authority and Penn. It's not the cleanest, but you're not here for that, you're here for bada bing bada boom, you're in and you're out.

Yelp
WOW! Grace Cafe is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a delicious, traditional, familiar Reuben and boy did it get it! When you first see Grace Cafe it might make you kind of question your judgement but these are usually the best kinds of places. We rolled up to the deli counter and placed our orders. Made fresh, I got my Reuben with some fries and upstairs we went to take a load off and enjoy our afternoon deliciousness. To say that the sandwich was good is an understatement. It totally hit the spot. I really do appreciate having a seating area for patrons although it seemed a little off-putting with the lavatories just feet away from where you were eating and no real place to escape them, but it worked out. I will definitely be stopping by again next time in NYC.

Yelp
Local bodega. Prices for a breakfast sandwich met the area as well. Woman was nice one time and not so much the other. Bagel was fine. Egg sandwiches were also. 3.3

Yelp
Stayed in NYC for a week and went here for breakfast and coffee on the go daily. Food is very fresh and delicious and a big selection!

Yelp
The people who work at this establishment are AWESOME. They are kind and the level and speed at which the cooks hear and remember your order is astounding. They remember faces and after a few days remember your order. I love coming here. And all of the hot breakfast food and lunch sandwiches are delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
You can order sandwiches, rice bowls, bagels, soup, etc or you can choose from the self-serve. I love how they have fresh fruit you can buy by weight for a healthy snack. The fried chicken was crispy and delicious!! They have seats and a bathroom upstairs. I was waiting for my friend to arrive and this place is right next to Port Authority. You can grab a quick bite while you wait for friends and avoid the cold weather.

Yelp
I have came here a few times for bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and they are definitely pretty good. I gave it four stars because for the price you really get your money's worth. Is it the best bacon egg and cheese in nyc? No but for a quick breakfast this is my go to in the area. They are also very quick and friendly here which is a plus!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Can only speak for their sandwiches - man, they are delicious. I got a chicken cutlet sandwich. Filled to the brim with chicken, cheese, roasted peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce. Delicious and fast. The price can't be beat either - come here for an excellent deal!

Yelp
Their spicy vegetable Korean soup is my no-carb dream. DELICIOUS, homemade, under $4 and filling. I work in the area and this is a staple. Unlike other commenters, I've only found the workers to be lovely. I particularly love the woman that serves the soup!

Yelp
This corner cafe took me by surprise by the food and options, it was like entering Narnia. Great service, fresh food, prepared quick. 5 Stars

Yelp
Can only write about my mealpal experience here. I usually have the beef rice bowl and the portions are generous and filling. Great flavors, place looks clean and on an off mealpal day I wouldn't mind trying out their other foods like fried chicken and stir fry noodles.

Yelp
This place is next to my job and I go there so much. Their wraps are amazing! Especially the California wrap! Everything I've ever gotten has never been bad! I also like to get their fresh fruit bowl that is always under $5. I love their tossed salads as well! So many salad topping options.
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
$9/lb for the buffet which is on the higher end and the quality says at most $6/lb (even considering the location). The chicken udon was way too overpriced and cheaply made for the portion size. The udon and soup flavor I immediately recognized because I pick up the same thing at the supermarket for like $1 for 3 noodle packs&soup base sometimes. They just add in a small amount of grilled chicken, scallions, half a regular boiled egg, broccoli and season with shichimi. Not worth it due to the price and quality of food you get.
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
If there was a 6 star....I would give this place 6 stars. The deli makes good sandwiches, but the real treat here is the authentic, tasty Korean food. The salad bar is exceptional, and pair that with a nice spicy Korean dish, and a beverage...you have a perfect meal. While I was there I left my umbrella there. Thinking there was no chance I would ever see it again, I stopped back the next day and asked. The very nice man handed it right to me!! He remembered me, and that honesty meant more to me than I can express. Small tiny place with BIG flavor!!

Yelp
Solid 4 stars lunch place! I love coming here for lunch because the food is fresh and there is a lot of variety. I like their salad bar that's reasonable price with fresh ingredients. I recently tried their spicy pork rice bowl and it was amazing! Portions were huge for the price. I could only finish half of it and had the rest for lunch the next day. I could tell the owner really cared about his shop! Would definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is horrible. There food and workers are a joke. This place could care less if you like your food. Its so obvious. Cant wait till the place across the street opens. This place needs to close it doors, clean up thoroughly and hire people who care about serving food to public. The guys cooking are all cut from the same cloth. RUDE
google avatar

Venda B.

Yelp
Okay folks awesome for lunch for sure, so much cheaper than any deli in the area. Portions large great variety. You get in and get out. Salad bar both hot and cold really good, but they only change a couple items each day so if you if you go each day you might get bored of the salad bar if you like more choices day to day.. If you spend 7 or 8 dollars on the salad bar (I cant remember which lol) you get a free small soup...just alittle perk. When really busy at lunchtime it still moves 3 registers opened. So if you look in and say ohhh to crowded I only have an hour for lunch I can't wait well trust me you wont.

Szeman W.

Yelp
It is a rip-off for their kimchi tofu soup. It is just red color spicy water with very very very...... few piece of veggie and tofu. There is no egg as shown on their menu photo from the web. Shame on Grace Cafe.

Yelp
Headed to work and looking for a place to get a quick bite. Grace Deli appeared in my path and I jumped in for a bagel to go. It's a surprisingly large place equipped with a salad and hot food bar and many breakfast and lunch entrees you can order behind the counter. I got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it was clear that the veggies were cut fresh and mixed into the cream cheese. Great spot, quick service, I'd definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Hidden gem discovered! Mocha slush is sooooo good. Not creamy at all but refreshing. You can also choose the sides with wide range of options, from fruits to chocolates to bubble(tapioca) Absolutely loved it

Yelp
Paid for original orange juice only got tropinaca juice no good next time make sure they do it for you while you wait otherwise will happend like me $5.50 for garbage juice.

Yelp
Abject mendicants outside scraping by on pillaged scrap recycling from thrown out trash are attacked and screamed at in Mandarin by management while decaffeinated mop water is more expensive than famed Cafe Grumpy down the block. Coyotes on this side of the border assemble in the upstairs seating area howling nostalgically over piles of 32oz Corona bottles. The French here call the salad bar "le malade" bar so it's safer to fill a bowl with the soup de jour and throw in a potable iodine pill. Anything less might violate the eponymous social "Grace" this cafe is principled on. Update, I've been here a few times since management screamed at a homeless lady going through his trash. They have more than one clerk in rotation and the other employees seem nice (i.e. normal, not sociopaths) so I'm granting an extra star. The upstairs seating area is still a failed AA meeting.

Yelp
Stayed on the 37th st and discovered the best place to grab easy and delicious food for the rest of our stay. Cheap, excellent service and really good assortment of foods. Salad and freash fruit bar, asian and american food on the buffet that comes with free soup. They have a cute eating area on the second floor. Breakfast sandwiches on the menu is a must try.
google avatar

Venda B.

Yelp
Fast, cheap and good. Their sandwichwich are larger than the normal deli sandwiches you get in the city. Small buffet but nice selection. You definitely get your monies worth.
google avatar

Yelp
Terrible awful smoothies. Just bad. The guy made it out of spite, he put chocolate syrup in it. No respect. I'll be going to the other one across the street from now on.

Yelp
Very clean, simple, fast deli. I always go here before I go to work to get my daily coffee and breakfast. The staff is kind and always smiling. Must try mango bubble tea, it's bomb!

Yelp
This place was delicious and inexpensive! For 4 ppl we paid $37 no drinks, we had our waters. Charged by the weight... so we really ate cuz we were so hungry! The lady boss was really sweet and greeted us kindly. We will be back, thank you for our first meal in NYC

Yelp
I used to work in this neighborhood and I miss Grace Cafe with a passion. It's my ultimate favorite lunch spot. The Korean business owner and the staff are all very nice but the lunch buffet is the reason why I come here all the time. Everything is very tasty, fresh and they change things up. Lots of veggie and asian options. If you spent over $6 dollars you get a free soup. Only thing is sometimes the upstairs dining area is a bit warm during the summer seasons. I miss you Grace Cafe!

Yelp
Good afternoon. I've been dining at this cafe for some years now. my experiance thier wasnt to bad. i usally buy the buffeft food or chicken noodle soup. Not unitl now that i present myself to the deli section where the are three men serving the cafe guest as they arrive. Monday Oct 29th 2018 was the first Ive ever been humiliated and discriminated against in my life and the on my Bithday! Waited in the line of 10 cafe guest, ordered a #5 (3) Pancakes,1 egg& sausage patty) when i was next online. The cook acknowledged, i proceed to the front of the store and waitied for my order. 25min past the hour,(10am) im asking the front cashier for my order. She told me to ask the cooks. i asked the cooks and i've received no response from neither of them! Pissed TFO, I naturally ask for a manager. Manager finally came out and i explained excatly what happened and he said he was going to Speak with his cooks. I chuckled because i know that meant Nothing! I remeinded the manager that im a loyal costumer. Went to the sore the next morning 6:45 am, the three cooks was working as usaul. I asked to speak to a manager when i arrived at the cafe, he came out, the same manager i seen the night before; asked him what was the Reprimands for the cooks and he explained to me some Malarky that didnt do justice for the discrimination and disrespect his cooks had me feel the when i've purchased breakfast despite their discriminations against me. SERVICE SUCKS THIER PERIOD. THEY WERE VERY RUDE N NASTY THE WAY THEY TREATED ME AND THATS CLEARY NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN 2018!!

Yelp
Amazing. I eat lunch here around 4 times a week. I'm a vegan so I never touch the hot food buffet, but it looks and smells fresh every day. The juice bar is the most reasonable I've found in Manhattan, ditto on the salad - choose your greens with any 6 toppings for only $6.99. Roasted asparagus and roasted baby corn are amazing, same goes for the grape leaves. Friendly service and it's so lovely not to get gouged in Manhattan, for a change!

Mizzy K.

Yelp
Great service! The food is good, prices are right. Best deli cafe near port authority.

Yelp
I used to always order the same breakfast anytime I went...One day they gave me the wrong order(I'm human I know mistakes happen) so I called and asked the correct order be sent over. They claim maybe I ordered wrong... due to this horrible customer service, I will NEVER go here again!!!!

Sean P.

Yelp
I've ate lunch at this place Monday-Friday for about a year until today. The female owner is great however the male owner just accused me of filling my coffee cup with hot chocolate and proceeded to make me show him it was in fact, coffee. I will NO LONGER eat lunch or any other meals here. I've never witnessed anybody else having to prove what was in their cup. I'm not gonna go as far as calling the racist but it was definitely wrong to treat a loyal customer in that way. Eat somewhere else
