The 12 Best Restaurants in Homer and Halibut Cove, Alaska | Eater

"Grace Ridge Brewing Company hasn’t been around as long as some of the other players in the Kenai Peninsula’s craft brewing scene, but the beer is outstanding and there’s always a good food truck parked outside their taproom during drinking hours (noon to 8 p.m.). The bar keeps a series of four flagship beers always on tap (The Kayak Beach Blonde and the Sadie Peak IPA are both worthy ales), with a rotating selection of specialty brews. Drop in for a pint while you ponder where to eat, or if perhaps there’s time for another long walk on the beach, or if maybe you need that third cinnamon roll from Two Sisters." - Kris Farmen

We had a nice stay at Grace Ridge since they are a Harvest Host location. Excellent beer! Really liked the black pepper IPA. The host was very nice. Food trucks were good. Nice flat parking in the far corner of the lot near Ben Walters Ln. A moose stopped by and enjoyed the grass and weeds.

A little brewery tucked away on a hill with a very friendly staff member. She was so kind to let me and my wife try so many samples. The beer is amazing and has so many unique tastes. This was part of my brewery hopping. And I enjoyed it. If only there were a view or higher terrace!

Found the Sadie Peak IPA at Captain Pattie’s on the spit and came up here for some more and the Pepper IPA. Small Brewery with a couple of food trucks. It’s a sweet little brewery.

Great beers, sunny & relaxing patio, and two food trucks outside. I loved all the beers I tried but especially the Raspberry Blonde and Alaska Saison!

A fantastic brewery in idyllic Homer. It has a nice indoor seating area and a great outdoor pergola with propane heater. I loved my Black Pepper IPA (so unique and delicious), my husband had a flight and enjoyed them all. As we were leaving we got to see a Sandhill Crane (I believe) strolling through the parking lot. Not a typical sight for an Arizonan to see.

My husband and his friend stopped at Grace Ridge Brewing after fishing for a couple of days at Ninilchik. Our friend wanted a Belgian style beer. He was not enamored of the one he tried but he bought another one to take home. My husband was happy with his beer choice. He said the personnel were nice, the brewery spotless, and bathroom was clean.

As long as the weather holds this is a great place to relax and have a few beers with friends. Outside seating is abundant and the beer very good. There is some inside seating, but it is limited. Additionally, there are food trucks that operate daily though they do alternate.

On a chilly April day, my husband and I enjoyed a saddle trail dopplebock and a kayak beach blond sitting around the fire pit. Wonderful….. we also had a loaded nachos takeaway from the red bird food truck on site, making it an even better experience. Try the cookies, delicious!
