Google
We went there last night for a small birthday party of 8 people. I can’t rave enough about this place! The good was terrific but the staff was incredible—so friendly, efficient and just plain kind in every way.

Jeimi D.

Google
We went to this place for Taco Tuesday and an order of 3 regular tacos was $26 plus tax plus tip. The atmosphere was not right for a Mexican spot, felt like a funeral. $26 for 3 small tacos with no sides didn’t feel right especially if they put it on a Tuesday special menu making it seem like it’s a great deal lol. I do not recommend this place!

Google
Excellent small Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and greeted us when we arrived and left . They had very quick service and constantly came around filling water and asking if we needed anything. The enchiladas were very good and the sauce was one of the best I’ve had. The margaritas were also very good and reasonably priced. They also have happy hour which I will be going back for. Definitely recommend!

Vanessa

Google
We ate there tonight and the food was delicious! It was our first time there. So fresh, authentic and tasty! The service was good and their margaritas and Mojito drinks were perfect! I love how they seasoned the steak too. I’m glad they opened here in Commack. We will be back!

eunice J.

Google
Love this restaurant! Delicious and authentic Mexican food with friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere and good for parties as well! My personal favorite is the chimichangas

Google
Service was incredibly slow & rather incompetent. They had an issue providing us w/ four separate bills we required for our expense report. I wondered what the delay was so I went to check only to find the the waitresses having a pow-wow while one picked at her leg. The food was okay: nice presentation, but rather bland for Mexican.

Google
Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere is cool. Can't wait to go back and have the steak dish again.

Google
Fantastic meal here last night. We had tacos and grilled chicken. Both were awesome. Beware of the homemade hot sauce, it's delicious but it's really hot. We loved that too! Great service and staff. Good prices.

Yelp
Long overdue review of Gracia's, a local family owned Mexican restaurant, with delicious food, friendly unrushed service, tasty cocktails and reasonable prices. The tostada botenaros appetizer is flavorful and perfect to share, the guacamole is chunky and flavorful. Yesterday I had the chicken enchiladas suizas. I wanted to pick the plate clean, the sauce was that good! The carne asada is also great, as are the fajitas. Definitely check it out!

Yelp
Nice service. Some minor glitches with language but nothing that couldn't be overcome. Meal was nice Interesting problem: nail salon and hair salon on a Friday evening take up most of the parking spots. I was concerned the restaurant might be packed but it wasn't. Worth a visit.

Yelp
Margaritas, Salsa and Chips, will start you off for a night of an enjoyable dining experience. They changed the Seafood Paella on how the serve it, comes in a clay pot but that unforgettable saffron broth is still there. Service was still good and just like my first review parking in tight. Ciao For Now.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in, the service was very friendly and hospitable. Clean, casual atmosphere. Happy Hour Margarita was both beautiful and delicious. Food was also good. Had the taco shell salad.

Yelp
I've only gotten take out but the tacos were pretty good. I wasn't too much of their take on birria but the steak and chicken tacos were supreme

Yelp
Welcome Gracia's Taqueria to the neighborhood. It was our first visit & we absolutely enjoyed everything. Our waitress (Frances) was amazing. She sat us whatever we wanted & gave us everything we needed. The Orlando Restaurant used to be here prior to them opening. They start you off with chips & salsa which are a little different than the usual but good. We love the guacamole which we had them add jalapeños to bring it up to the next level. The frozen mango margarita were huge & delicious. We both got he fajitas which was a perfect choice. It came with rice and beans which was one of the best that I ever had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Good luck & welcome!

Yelp
Still feeling like a newbie in my own town I've wanted to get over to Gracia's for over a year. The hype was worth it. The food was excellent. Portions were plenty. The service was fantastic. We loved looking around at the ambiance and decor. I had a delightful red sangria with a Mexican combo that was a nice sampling and delicious. My teen son had the steak fajitas and the portion and taste was incredible. The Thursday mariachi two man band lead to the liveliness of the restaurant and added to the atmosphere and experience of Gracias. I can't wait to bring the remainder of the family. This place is Perfect for a date night, family night or girls night out. Looking forward to my next visit sooner rather than later.

Yelp
Went for dinner tonight. Food was absolutely tasteless. Salsa was like flavored water. Margaritas were watered down. Asked for jalapeño's on the side which I never got. Waitress tried to sell up a pitcher of margaritas for $45 during happy hour and told us that was the special. unfortunately never going back not worth the hundred dollars for two drinks and Two entrées will be going somewhere else.

Yelp
Stopped by for happy hour and yes Gracia's made me very happy! I got passion fruit margarita 2 actually and they were good! I took home a pollo en mole poblano which was very good, the sauce was spicy and tasty, it came with a small salad, rice and beans and tortillas. Their menu has a lot to pick from, the place is colorful and fun. The people were very friendly and nice. There is a small bar when you walk in and the restaurant is pretty big. Their prices are good the food is yummy. There are some happy hour specials with good prices. Go! You'll like it!

Yelp
Love the atmosphere. The decor is perfect and the service was great! Location probably hurts this place as it's kind of tucked away and not really noticeable if you weren't looking for it. We went on a Saturday night at around 7:00 and it was pretty quiet. No wait for a table. Food was hit and miss. While we loved the chips and salsa as well as the fresh guacamole and salad, some of the pieces of chicken in all of our food (there were 4 of us) was rubbery. The main course was somewhat salty, which I can deal with, but the higher end Mexican restaurant price tag combined with the off-textured chicken left me disappointed. I would consider giving it a second chance.
google avatar

Marissa G.

Yelp
Cute little authentic place in Commack. Not very busy for a Saturday night and was able to get seated right away without a reservation. Service could have been a little better if the staff was more attentive. I had to call the waitress over a few times. Food was good! I ordered the fajitas. I thought the highlight of the dish was the rice and beans. I love flavorful rice and refried beans as I don't often make this at home.

Lucretia S.

Yelp
I have driven past this restaurant for years! Was in the mood for Mexican so my husband and I decided to try it on a Friday evening. Ambience is so cute and authentic. Are Server was very attentive and very sweet. The food was excellent! I had enchilada suizas and my husband had parillado, grilled meats. He asked for mole sauce on the side and it was the best I have ever tasted! We have had takeout twice since we ate in the restaurant and I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend.

Yelp
3.5/5 The restaurant looked very inviting with its outdoor and indoor decorations. It had a decent amount of seating for the size of the restaurant however it did not have any booths. On a Friday night @ 7pm there was no wait so the hostess sat us right away. Our server came to our table and waited on us in a timely fashion. The food came out decently paced as well. For the food, the alcoholic drinks were very delicious and not too strong. The restaurant gives you complimentary chips and salsa, which were a little stale and the salsa a little watery. HOWEVER my boyfriend and i ordered the chips and guac appetizer and it was very very good. The chips were warm and clearly homemade and the guacamole was truly amazing. I would go back just for that! The entrees we had were the shrimp flautas and chicken enchiladas. My boyfriend ordered the flautas and said that he enjoyed them. My enchiladas were okay. They were just chicken, no peppers, onions, or cheese inside as well. The chicken didn't have that much seasoning and was a bit underwhelming. Both entrees came with a side of refried beans and rice. The rice was good but the beans were incredibly liquidy and watery.

Yelp
Well... I just had my first meal from Gracia's. It is literally being digested and I am writing this review. The food was THAT good. Our first time here and we decided to take it to go: Enchiladas suizas with chicken, side of Maduro, side of friends and fajitas- both dishes came with rice and beans. We opened it up and the Maduro was missing! We called and they offered to bring it but my husband went and got it since we live nearby. They threw in another one for the inconvenience. I couldn't wait for him to get back to start because I was starving. By the time he got back, I got through all 3 of my enchiladas. It was soooo good! I haven't enjoyed Mexican food like this in years. The food was authentic, tasty and absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to return! 8/8/2021

Yelp
The fajitas were supper good! Guacamole and chips too, los tacos were like okay. But they meat and shrimp were really fresh. Amazing. I don't like was the tamarindo, it was from a box, the michelada either, they forgot to put tomato juice, it was only tajin, la cerveza and Tabasco.

Yelp
Finally has a chance to try this place. Did take out of a couple of items. Gracia's is located at the old location of Orlando's on Commack Road. The are offering indoor dining which appeared limited and safe. The food that we ordered, tacos, empanadas, rice and beans, plantains- all freshly made and delicious.... happy to have an authentic taqueria in town!

Marissa W.

Yelp
Food was terrible for three people. I did like the watery salsa. I did not have any cocktails but the Mexican Street corn the tortilla soup we're terrible. The chicken tortilla soup had one piece of chicken and hardly any shreds at all of chicken. It did however, have practically an entire tortilla which had been fried and cut into squares put into the soup so the soup consisted of liquid and fried tortilla. The beans for the beans and rice were water down and runny . The tacos were OK as was the empanadas were nothing special. Service was good however they never asked why I didn't finish any of my food. In fact, I took two bites of the corn and left the rest on the plate. When they asked if I wanted to take it home, I quickly declined. They didn't ask me if everything was OK if there was a problem with it as to why I didn't eat it. I absolutely will not return.

Yelp
What an amazing find! Manuel, the owner and bartender, was super welcoming and friendly. It's tucked away in a shopping center set back on Commack Road - so you may have passed it a million times without noticing this gem! Food was absolutely delish! We had the avocado with shrimp and chipotle sauce app which we gobbled down! The salad was fresh and the dressing was so good! Place is clean and has top notch and fresh authentic cuisine. Give it a try!

Jessica M.

Yelp
Great food and service. I get the taco bowl salad with shrimps and they really load up the shrimp. Only complaint is I ordered margarita twice with no salt and each time they put salt. Other than that we love it there.

Steve K.

Yelp
1st time visiting this restaurant tonight and I was absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked through the door the entire staff was attentive and we felt welcomed. My wife and I elected to eat at the bar tonight but there was ample seating available throughout the restaurant. We ordered 2 Margaritas to start off while we checked out the menu. The bartender (who actually turned out to be the owner) did not disappoint. 2 perfect Margaritas poured and served within a minute. No sour mix here folks. Only fresh cut limes used in these delicious drinks. I had a nice Tajin rimmed Mango and my wife ordered a top shelf traditional with a salted rim. Chips and Salsa were also immediately served while we checked out the extensive menu. The owner Manuel answered some questions we had on some of the selections and we settled on some Empanadas for appetizers, a Combination platter and Chimichangas for dinner. Absolutely everything was DELICIOUS!!! Generous portions too and don't forget to ask for some homemade hot sauce. It packs quite a punch!! For dessert you absolutely must order the Sopapilla. Soooo freaking good. As a resident of Huntington, which has their fair share of Mexican and TexMex restaurants, I can confidently tell you that Garcia's Taqueria most definitely ranks in the top tier of all of them. Quality, Atmosphere, Portion Size, Plenty Parking, Delicious Desserts, Attentive Staff and Killer Margaritas. We will absolutely be back. Thanks for An exceptional meal tonight.

Yelp
Great drinks, great food! I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a nice Mexican restaurant that's authentic. My ONLY complaint would be not enough staff. However I will not allow that to bring down my review on how great the food truly is.
google avatar

Derrek D.

Yelp
The service was great. The food, however, was overpriced and had zero flavor. They charge you for a second bowl of chips. The salsa, like everything else, didn't taste like anything. I ordered the carne asada taco plate. The tacos were bland. It came with rice and beans. The beans came in a tiny cup. All for $19. The house margarita was just ok. Won't be coming back. My wife got a chicken quesadilla. Chicken quesadilla Taco plate 1 kids taco plate Bowl of guacamole 4 house margaritas Total: $98. Insane for the low quality
google avatar

Donna S.

Yelp
Great fun place to eat! The decor was uplifting and the food was delicious! They had a DJ too for the holiday celebration! I tried the Spanish beer--great! And next time I will order a pitcher of Marguritas for the table like the next table did! Friendly staff. We sat by the window and it was a nice view. Fun time!

Yelp
Finally made it to Gracia's in Commack. I was waiting till they got their liquor license. Growing up as a young adult in Texas, I have to have a margarita with my chips and salsa. It was worth the wait. Excellent Top Shelf margarita on the rocks made with Patron. My husband had the mango mojito and my son had the strawberry mojito. Both were excellent as well. You can also get pitchers of margaritas and sangria. For appetizers we tried Taquitos de Paso and Tostones Botaneros. Both are very shareable. The chicken meat on the Tostones was very moist and flavorful. Ditto for the beef. I had the shrimp enchiladas. Very fresh shrimp. The rice is nice and fluffy. My husband had the Las Tias Plate. Three beef chimichangas. Also, very good. My son had the Enchiladas Bandera and enjoyed them very much. Everything was fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Cute little place with good mexican food and good drinks. I wanted to love it and make it a regular spot for movie nights but the service is lacking. I had to get up and find my server to get more drinks and to check on the status of my simple guacamole appetizer (took 30 minutes) and then our food (additional 40 minutes) and then our check. Place was a little busy when we arrived but everyone was eating already and was completely empty when we left or Id understand. Front of house management seems absent here.

Ally K.

Yelp
Loved it. Food was great. Cocktails were great. The staff was accommodating. Loved it and it is our New Mexican Spot!
google avatar

Rob D.

Yelp
Went with my daughter on a Friday night to this new Mexican place. The place was very clean and the decor was excellent. There was a great selection of drinks including traditional favorites like sangria and margaritas. We started off sharing the tableside guacamole. Was very well done and very fresh. I had shrimp tacos in the soft shells. Kim had carne Asada enchiladas. Overall, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere welcoming and the food was very fresh and delicious.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Really nice place. New to the neighborhood. Real quality food. Definitely going back many more times.
google avatar

Jill R.

Yelp
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Food is prepared and presented well - portions aren't insane, plates are not coated with cheese like many "American Mexican" restaurants (don't get me wrong though, sometimes I love mucho queso!) overall really tasty, satisfying dishes that don't make you feel like awful when leaving. And drinks are always on point! Hope they stick around!!!
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
We ate there tonight and the food was delicious! It was our first time there. So fresh, authentic and tasty! The service was good and their margaritas and Mojito drinks were perfect! I love how they seasoned the steak too. I'm glad they opened here in Commack. We will be back!

Yelp
Some of the best Mexican food I have eaten! Great drinks and atmosphere. This is my new hidden find.
google avatar

Corrine V.

Yelp
Great service and atmosphere. The bar space was very pretty and I could see it being a great spot for a small happy hour with friends once COVID restrictions are lifted. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

Katie B.

Yelp
We come here often and the food is excellent every time! Everyone who works here is super sweet! Such a hidden gem!

Robin C.

Yelp
The service was good, nice staff. the drinks are amazing but a little pricey. $11 for a frozen margarita. the salsa was bland and watery, the chips on the table were fresh but they charge you $3 for more chips, so we opted not to order more. The food was very fresh, the place was clean and really pretty. Food wise it was ok.Our biggest complaint was that the rice was very , very over cooked to the point of being mushy. we might try it again , def would go for drinks.

Robyn C.

Yelp
Ok so hear me out...went to del fuego friday night and then Gracias Saturday night. No comparison. Del Fuego was fun and margaritas tasty, but Gracias blew them out of the water with their food. Husband and i had: beef empanadas, pollo mole, aguacate relleno, sweet plantains, and abuelitas soup. And top shelf margaritas. Just delicious. That's all. Definitely coming back and bringing more people.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
This place is getting five stars as it has legit Mexican food at a great quality that beats a lot of nearby competitors. Being from LA, Most of the time I can't find Mexican food on Long Island, but this place has authentic bold flavors that leave you satisfied. Got the mole carne asada tacos and flautas which were delicious. Would come back !

Hans M.

Yelp
Pulled into this Gracia's on a whim, and I have been back 3 times. Excellent fresh food plated with care. Great service with ownership present. Nice atmosphere and the place is spotless. This place is special.
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
We ordered takeout from Gracia's and were BLOWN AWAY at how delicious everything was. We had tacos with rice and beans, guacamole, and smoked jalapeño. My husband and I typically have different opinions about restaurants, but we both became instant fans of Gracia's tonight. Such a great addition to the Commack area. 100% wholeheartedly recommend!

Melinda D.

Yelp
The decor was cute. Food was ordinary. My issue is that the server was unsure of my order. Instead of asking me to clarify, (I ordered sausage but he heard shrimp), he wrote down shrimp. He actually said "I wasn't sure if you said sausage or shrimp so I wrote down shrimp." I am allergic to shrimp. I had a reaction and needed medicine. He repeatedly asked me if I was ok. Then, he reduced my dinner, but still at the price of shrimp. Sorry to say I will never go back.

George P.

Yelp
Our Cinco De Mayo celebration ruined. 11/2 hours to get an appetizer, ridiculous! Good when it finally arrived was mediocre at best. Never again !!
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
The place was clean, the service was fantastic and most importantly, the food was delicious!

Esther L.

Yelp
Place looks nice ans staff is friendly, but the food is no good, no flavor, looks like the food was reheat, all the dishes came out cold, they charge extra for a tiny bowl of extra salsa and charge 3% for using a credit card to pay. Never will go back. Gave one star because there is not option for less!!!! And i the margarita didn't have any alcohol.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Wanted to check out the new Mexican restaurant in Commack and it did not disappoint! We started with the homemade guacamole of course! My family of 4 demolished it under 3 minutes! Bistec Tampiqueño (grilled steak with onions and peppers) was mouth watering and so was the Pollo a la Parrila! The decor was fun and festive....We will definitely go back!

Divala J.

Yelp
I don't review on many places but this place deserves it. Great atmosphere. Good food and friendly staff. My new favorite for authentic Mexican food.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
Food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. I had a frozen classic margarita and the enchiladas banderas. The food was very flavorful and the staff was kind and attentive. Give this place a try if you are looking for a more authentic vibe.
google avatar

Tina D.

Yelp
Excellent! We had nachos, steak fajitas and the cheese enchiladas...everything was delicious including the happy Friday drinks! My boyfriend must have said 3 or 4 times that they were the best "F-ing enchiladas he's ever had". We will definitely be going back!

J G.

Yelp
If it was good, I would have gone there all the time. I love Mexican restaurants. Unfortunately I did not like anything. I did not like the salsa or chips. The appetizer I ordered was gross. The beans & rice had very little flavor. The meals were not made as ordered. We ordered 2 chicken enchiladas & 1 beef and got 2 beef & 1 chicken. We requested no sourcream & there was sour cream on top of all. The fajitas weren't terrible but just not as good as other restaurants. They are charging top prices for subpar food. I wish it would have been good but it was not.
google avatar

Meghan L.

Yelp
We ordered for pick up and the food was fantastic. Traditional Mexican food that was absolutly delicious. We had the quesadialla and Cantiflas platter with maduros ordered as a side. While we are not doing indoor dining at the moment, the dining room was very inviting. We will be ordering again soon!!!!

Anthony M.

Yelp
Never have I had a place turn down my business twice. Every time I call to place a take out order they tell me they aren't taking anymore orders. I called at 8pm on a Friday. Terrible customer service.
