Beautifully crafted milkshakes! I most enjoyed the atmosphere, which put a bow on this high-end ice cream experience. Its location in the L & L Market is perfect. Such a cute space filled with other great businesses. Also, I appreciated the great customer service. We tried the Banana Pudding and the Salty Attitude. Overall, they were good. In case this makes a difference to anyone, the ice cream is Blue Bell. If you're like me, different brands of ice cream treat you, well, differently, if you know what I mean. Ha! Enjoy!

Google
I had thee most delicious and aesthetically pleasing milkshakes here. Both of these milkshakes were so satisfying. They weren't too thick, but were perfectly made. And even though they might seem overwhelming with all the toppings, the flavors weren't competing with each other at all. I also LOVE the location. It is so central to many other shopping areas as well as food options.

Google
Such a delightful place! A must if you are visiting Nashville. These milkshakes will blow your mind! Not only is the presentation ten out of ten, but they taste delicious too. So many flavors to pick from! You’ll want them all!

Google
While I can't vouche for if the milk shakes will bring all the boys to the yard, ( 💁‍♀️ I'm mean, I'm married, so I wasn't really looking, so they might! ) I can say they were creative and delicious. 🍨 The milkshake makers were super nice and it was obvious from these shakes they were gearing up to be on some food network milkshake challenge, where they will likely win... obviously!!! see those pics?!?! And bonus, how cute is this milkshake bar? No doubt we came right after a long day of lifestyle and branding photo shoots that take place here on the daily. Cheers to that!🥂

Google
This place seems great. The milkshakes are pretty, but were pretty average as far as flavor (especially for the price). Would give the shakes 3 stars. Business is getting 2 stars because though the staff had masks on, no one was wearing them properly. L&L market itself seems great.

Google
Gracie’s Milkshake Bar was awesome! The signature shakes are huge and delicious. All are expertly crafted in the center of a U-shaped old-fashioned counter. Very cool atmosphere, Gracie and her crew are super friendly and nice, and the shakes are really excellent. A must-do for sure!

Google
1st: The movies - it reminded me of soda, chocolate milk? Hahah uhm I def felt like I bought some snacks at the movie theater 2nd: The Cookie Monster - cookies and cream never miss the spot when it comes to a summer dessert 3rd: The Shamrock - unexpectedly I liked it more than I thought I would. I’ve never been much of a fan of mint chocolate anything. If anything I would just want the mint ice cream without the chocolate chips but keep the Oreos on top. [Namjoon would love this] 4th: The Bonfire - the vanilla was so good, I just couldn’t put my finger on the toppings… ah it’s graham crackers. I couldn’t taste it so that’s probly why. First bite was *chef kiss*

Do you like Milkshakes in a 1950's style ice cream shop vibe? Or what about large crazy outrageous sugary coma looking shakes? This is the place right here in Nashville, TN. It was alittle hard to find being inside the middle center of a shopping complex but worth the scavenger hunt conquest. 🤗 As I came in from a side store walking through to the middle main walkway I turned left to see a small but quaint 1950's style ice cream shop with teal round stools. I like the color teal so it was a win for me with all the chrome style all around it. I came up to the bar stools to be greeted with a smile even though she was wearing a mask 😷 by the server you. She gave me a menu to look at the milkshake list to see 👀 what I might like to try. I settled on the Reese peanut butter cup, Hersey bar, M&Mrs shake. As I watched her use the old style blenders of the 1950's with all the decor from the era I couldn't help day dreaming of being back in that time with my hair slicked back. While wearing blue jeans 👖white T Shirt with a pack of cigarettes 🚬rolled up the sleeve with a black leather jacket. Then she was done with the master piece bringing it over very carefully. I was in shock just looking at all the M&M carefully placed all around the cup secured to chocolate frosting. Then the mount of whipped cream with Reese cups and Hersey bars with drizzled chocolate with colorful sprinkles. The cherry on top was a nice touch too. It was time to dig in so I started with a Reese cup wow it was good. As I worked my way around the shake my endorphins were in heaven from all the goodness inside. I have to admit I couldn't finish it all on my own but totally worth it and a great place to have a date or with friends/ family. I totally recommend this place so give them a try you won't be disappointed. You bet you will leave very happy from all the sugary goodness. Tell them I sent you.

Yelp
I have gone to Gracie's several times now, and it gets better every time! The ambience of the milkshake bar is absolutely adorable, and you immediately feel like you're transported to a scene of "Grease!" The staff there are always so friendly and helpful. This time, we decided to get the Peanut Butter Everything milkshake which is our favorite one to get! It's a vanilla milkshake blended with peanut butter, and while you can taste the PB it's not overwhelming! The outside is rolled in vanilla icing and dipped in Reese's Puffs, which is our favorite part of the shake. Who doesn't love Reese's puffs?! The shake is topped with whipped cream, nutter cookies and chocolate syrup! If you're looking for a cute dessert spot with the best milkshakes in town, this is the place to go!

Yelp
Great experience and milk shake. I came in a week night it wasn't crowded. They have parking in the front. Staff were nice. It's like an old fashioned dinner feel. There are several stores and food places in the shared area. They had a live band playing. It was loud as it echos in the place. I decided to try the churro shake to go. The to go shakes are smaller then the other ones you sip while there. I think it's a pretty nice spot. Hope you enjoy your shakes and have a good experience.

Yelp
Want a super fun, Insta worthy milkshake without having to deal with downtown traffic? Check out Gracie's! Gracies is located in the L&L building on Charlotte Pike. There are lots of cool shops to look in on your way to Gracie's. Warning: parking sucks so make sure you pack your patience. Service is great and the milkshakes are huge. Perfect for a 2 straws, one shake kind of date!

Yelp
This place is regularly closed during business hours. It says it is open on Sunday. We waited until 2 to come... it's closed. This regularly happens with posted hours.

Yelp
I came here with a couple friends when we were in Nashville in July and we really liked it :) the workers were very courteous and I like the diner vibe. The milkshakes tasted great, they were a little pricey though. I also wasn't super happy about having to pay for bottled water when I just wanted a cup of it. Overall we had a good time here though
google avatar

Yelp
YUM! I have been wanting to try this place for months and finally got the chance to come. The cookie monster was delicious, but there were three other shakes I was eyeballing. I would recommend sharing this with someone unless you are 1. Very hungry 2. Have a huge sweet tooth. This place was definitely a treat and I will be back for more!
google avatar

Shelly C.

Yelp
First off- these are not milkshakes...these are works of art! I bought my 2 friends a milkshake here and it was amazing. They absolutely loved it. I got my own small milkshake (vanilla, peanut butter ) and it was perfect. The girls that work here are super nice too! The food hall that this is in has fun shops, food concepts, etc. this is the perfect place for a quick bite :)
google avatar

Yelp
This place is sooo cute. The old fashioned diner vibes is enough for me to return. They have a bunch of shake options, and because of Yelp I was able to try four!!! The one I was the least excited about - s'mores - turned out to be my favorite. Can't wait to return and order a full sized shake!
google avatar

Joshua T.

Yelp
So, we came here for the first time ever and we're met with their system not being able to take cards so cash only. Although they were decent shakes they were pricey. We may be back the next time we come to Nashville.

Yelp
Well if this wan't a wonderful summer treat. Started off by eating dinner at the taco spot next door - all while watching the adorable young women making some fantastic creations for guests. The smiles alone that each presentation gave the customers was a site to behold. It definitely got my mouth watering for the treats in store. Generally I was used to the "normal" flavors of milkshakes - chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Def not all were these typical flavors. But, in addition to these, we enjoyed peach, blackberry, coffee, and yes strawberry. Probably my fav was the peach but my husband loved the coffee. I saw that Bluebell Ice Cream was their base with half and half as well. Lots of nuts, sprinkles, cookie crumbs decorated these works of art. And, of course, whipped cream - oodles of it. A major treat on this hot Nashville day
google avatar

Denise H.

Yelp
Went in with a group from work. The milkshakes were incredible and it was a good break in the day, and a delicious sugar rush to get through the afternoon
google avatar

Phil M.

Yelp
This is a very cool place! It's expensive, but the milkshake was amazing. They have lots of different flavors and options to choose from. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
On the super hot days in Nashville, going to Gracie's Milkshake Bar is a great way to cool off. With a family of milkshake lovers, you double the treat. We came on a Wednesday and it wasn't overly busy but the evenings business was brisk. It took about 30 minutes to get us our order and it didn't come out all at once. There was seating and we got to watch the milkshakes be prepared so that was just part of the fun. Milkshakes here are pricey, but you are not just getting a beverage. It is a work of art, starting with a glass that is rolling/coated in frosting and treats. The milkshake fills the glass and is topped with a mountain of whipped cream and treats that add to the flavor/texture of the treat. I came as part of a Yelp event and was able to taste 4 different shakes in a milkshake flight: Duo-licious, Bonfire, The Movies and Shamrock. The tasters weren't rolled in all the frosting and sprinkels but the toppings and shake were enough. My favorite was the Shamrock (mint and chocolate) and I will easily do this again. However, the Churro won over the group as the best. The cinnamon really came through in this great treat. I hadn't been to the L&L Market before but it is likely I will be here more as my son is moving into the area. A daughter wants to go to the pasta place. I could easily find a quick bite but am not sure about a meal.

Yelp
Definitely an experience. The wife wanted desert after dinner. Not somewhere you want to go every day. You'll weigh 500 pounds. Saying that you have to try this.

Yelp
#fatjared say...Yes it's a fun experience, yes it is an awesome pic, yes everyone likes sugar, but it can be improved upon. Not perfect, but above average because of the fun experience. For my reviews, I have a strict criteria. My experience at your establishment must be PERFECT. 5 stars on Yelp is perfect, so to receive that you have to be perfect. Let me start with the one complaint I have. There is just a bit too much going on, and definitely too much icing on the side with the extra toppings. It is hard to get to the actual shake at first, the sides melt and it is so messy that they could have 1/4 of the icing on the side, still have a great pic and experience, but save money and make it easier on the customer. The trick to get the full experience here is to scrape up on the icing, get the toppings in with the whipped cream and and shake all in one bite. I do love that they have an option to have 64oz shake, and if you have it all you get it for free!! The flavor combos can fit any sugar craving, and everyone likes a good shake. Fun spot and since they are so big, the price is not bad because you need to split it. Anyone complaining about the price hasn't been anywhere else to get a dessert because you can't go anywhere without spending $6 on a dessert at a restaurant. Overall, above average experience, but not perfect. Fun time getting fat...

Tera J.

Yelp
Yummy epic shakes. It's an experience. They allow you to customize the shakes to your liking. They are huge and easily sharable. We got cookie monster and the peanut butter one. Staff was friendly. Tables could be wiped down more often. Overall, a good experience

Yelp
This has to be the greatest milkshake experience in Nashville, and I've had them all. Billed as luxury shakes, they're about as pricey per square inch as the nearby homes in ritzy Belle Meade. But it's completely worth it, because you're not just paying for a dessert. You're paying for an experience! The description of the Unicorn shake I had is enough to prove my point. A wonderful strawberry milkshake with pieces of fresh strawberries was topped with a massive heap of fresh whipped cream, with a waffle cone and part of a Pop Tart projecting from the cream, gummy worms hiding within, sprinkle-laden frosting 360 degrees around the top third of the glass, and of course a cherry on top. My goodness, what an experience to work my way through this monstrosity. It was both masterfully artistic in presentation and of very good quality as well! It's no wonder the Cooking Channel featured this restaurant. I would recommend Gracie's to anyone coming to town who wants an iconic dessert.

Yelp
Delicious gourmet milkshakes. I tried the Duo-licious, the Cookie Monster, the Bonfire, & the Peanut Butter Everything. They were all excellent. My favorite was... all of them. They are very rich -- so depending on your constitution, one full-size may be too much. These suckers are also pretty pricey. My recommended solution? Split a milkshake with one or two others. Too much of a good thing isn't a good thing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating on my visit. Really, the only qualm I could foresee for visitors would be how expensive the milkshakes are. If you buy 4 specialty milkshakes you'll be down a good 50 buckaroos. Plenty of parking at/around L&L. Neat atmosphere. Pay Gracie's a visit and split a shake with a pal or loved one!

Yelp
We stopped in for dessert after breakfast at Ladybird Taco and a quick trip to the park. It's in a cute market area with shops and food options. The menu was overwhelming so I ended up getting chocolate. It was delicious! We sat outside the bar and watched people or the staff making milkshakes. This is a great stop for all ages. It's also a great photo spot, especially for kids!
google avatar

Sammy S.

Yelp
Best milkshake in Nashville!! Cute little milkshake bar inside of a market with some other stores and shops. Super lowkey and very underrated, would definitely go back
google avatar

Joseph F.

Yelp
this place in the market is incredible!! next level shakes! the strawberry unicorn shake with fruity pebble rim was spectacular, the coffee shake was even better! these are sharable, but you can manage!
google avatar

Yelp
Epic milkshakes must be the new trendy treat because they are popping up everywhere. I've been to Legendairy located downtown but can honestly say I prefer Gracie's. I came here on NYE and it wasn't too busy. We got seats at the counter and didn't have to wait at all to order. At the time we went they had their normal menu and a seasonal menu with peppermint flavors, a snowman milkshake, etc. My friend and I decided to split the milk & cookies milkshake off the seasonal menu. It was a decent sized shake and plenty for the two of us which is good because a $16 milkshake is kinda ridiculous. I thought the milkshake was good but didn't really match the flavor description. It tasted more like vanilla ice cream with a whole bunch of whip cream and Cookie Crisp cereal around the top. I wish it had more of an oreo flavor.
google avatar

Pam W.

Yelp
What a neat place! We visited over Christmas vacation, so they had a special holiday menu. The kid sized milkshakes were large enough for even the adults in the group, and the holiday shakes were so cute! Everyone enjoyed their shakes and I would recommend giving Gracie's a try when you are in the area.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I have been meaning to go here and was impressed with the building it is in. It's in the old restaurant supply warehouse that was converted to different shop/restaurant/wedding venue. The ice cream place is in the middle of the place with a 50's style bar. So many different milkshakes to choose from. They apply a whip cream on the outside of the cup and smother with your topping. The actual milkshake in the cup goes down fast. You'll have a sugar high after eating your shake.
google avatar

Mae D.

Yelp
This is such a cute place with absolutely delicious desserts! I got the Cookie Monster and it was sinfully good! The owner is also so sweet and kind! The atmosphere is vintage but also very chic. You could easily do a date night here or a girls night out here to satisfy your sweet tooth! I'd recommend this place a 1000 times over! Make sure you stop by Gracie's if you're in the Nashville area.
google avatar

Gladette M.

Yelp
We were Milkshake Wasted Gracie's Milkshake Bar located in West Nashville. I stopped in at the Milkshake Bar for the Yelp's Summer kick off. The building is an older structure that's been converted into cute little eatery's with limited seating, very cute and artsy. We ordered Cookie Monster (very popular according to staff) The Unicorn ( strawberries and sprinkles winning). My personal favorite The Shamrock! I'm not a Chocolate Mint type of girl, but this was delicious, and lastly Franklin Mud. They were all pretty good, I imagine it's not an art to making Milkshakes. The shake's have ingredients that included cereal, pop tarts marshmallows and other sweet treats. Milkshake's are large enough to share, and for the price that's exactly what I'd do. The owner Grace was onsite, she's a local from Franklin and was very sweet and personable. I give The Milkshake Bar a 9 out of 10. A little pricey and they melt quickly. A good date spot, or lazy Sunday afternoon treat. No outside seating, and parking can be difficult on a busy day.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
A few main things to note about this spot. First, the shakes are incredibly good. Secondly, there is an vast variety of flava from which to choose. And third, the service was (as Jimmy Walker would say) dyn-o-mite!! So, tonight was pretty much a trifecta for me, a hat trick performance, you could say shaketastic. The only player I'd put into the penalty box here is the manager...for staffing the bar with only two, albeit extremely diligent shake artists. They really needed a third hand, to keep up with demand imo...although last time I checked, I never ran a restaurant...so who am I to judge ‍But back to the positives+...our kids sucked these shakalicious milkshakes down so fast, you'd think they're never had ice cream before...and that would be a LIE! And who makes a unicorn shake with a pop tart and waffle corn horn in it?...Gracie's, that's who. So if you wanna have some kinda party shake down in your mouth, with a side order of old fashioned customer service, then come here to Gracie's.
google avatar

Kelley B.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, this is definitely a Instagram place. Taking a photo with these monsters is fun, but that's kinda all there is. The milkshake itself is plain with nothing mixed in. The ice cream they use is good, but definitely not worth the price. I got the Cookie Monster and was disappointed that it didn't have a baked cookie in it, only 2 Oreos that weren't even brand name (it had Publix imprinted on it). I'm not snobby in that it has to be Oreo or nothing, but at their prices I feel that it needs to be. The cookies that coat it stuck in the icing are actually cookie crisps. Some people may like that but I was sad that it wasn't actual cookies. Also, the glasses are sooo top-heavy that I imagine at least 1 break a day if not more. While I was there one dropped and broke. I felt bad for the employees that have to clean those up every time. I found it odd that they are designed this way and served on a small plate (which makes it worse) when I feel like the majority of their clientele are likely kids. The glass was so tall that even I had to stand to drink out of the straw when I wanted some while sitting at the bar. I guess I was so excited by the fancy flare of the decorations and size that I was disappointed by the actual product. I would, however, recommend getting a kids shake as those were normal size and more reasonably priced.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
This place was so cute, it is located inside of a mall. The two women that took our orders were so nice and friendly. They made our drinks quickly and they tasted delicious. There many places to sit and a really cute couch off to the side. Will definitely come back and try more flavors.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
The milkshakes look absolutely incredible! My fiancée & I shared a Franklin Mud & it was just enough to satisfy both our dessert cravings. They look larger than they actually are because a lot of the toppings are just glued onto the sides of the glass with icing. A little on the pricey side in my opinion & we had to wait about 30 minutes or so, but the staff are friendly & you can tell a lot of work goes in to making these milkshakes look awesome. There's also a neat little bar area that has a cooI retro vibe for a date night. I can justify getting one of these every now & then!
google avatar

Sherry Y.

Yelp
Gracie's is the milkshake nirvana of monster desserts. Any specialty shake you order here comes in a kid-approved, all-the-frills milkshake glass resplendant in icing, dunked in nutella, or dripping with chocolate (depending on what you choose to order). The first time I went to Gracie's, I went completely sugar crazed and ordered The Bonfire specialty shake with a side of Chook fries. The Bonfire uses a base of vanilla ice cream followed by a truly generous dollop of whipped cream, sprinkles, marshmallows, drippings of chocolatey-fudgey syrup, graham cracker crumbs, and a few bars of chocoate. Oh, and of course, a maraschino cherry on top. I actually fought my husband to split this despite the enormous size. The chook curly fries were a savory balance against the intense sweetness of the shake. I'm actually not quite sure of the exact seasoning they use, but it's remniscent of Cajun-style fries (which they also sell). Recently, I opted for the more portion-controlled (but still generous) traditional chocolate shake. I swear, I blink, and I've gulped the entire shake down in mere seconds - it's that delicious. Staff is always prompt and friendly, even with several patrons ready to order (many with young children). They bring the shake straight to your table, or you might want to watch them make these glorious masterpieces right at the bar. The choice is yours! Super retro style seating with a chrome bar and mint-colored bar stools as well as a bright green neon sign with their moniker. Staff is on top of their Covid mandates, and they wear both gloves and masks. I've never had any trouble asking them for extra spoons, napkins, or otherwise. Enjoy your shake as slowly as you can...but believe me, it will be gone in a few moments to your own chargrin.
google avatar

Sumintra W.

Yelp
The setting was weird. I guess Tampa Bay has spoiled me with our food halls. The milkshake looks amazing, but it was more of a one time try out. It just didn't have the wow factor for me.
google avatar

Kendall R.

Yelp
Like another review mentioned, you're really just paying for an envious Instagram photo with this milkshake. Sadly, it's nothing special. I split it with three friends which significantly reduced the price and we were actually able to (almost) finish this shake. Understandably, they take a while to make. I think each shake took a full 5 minutes when we were there and we were #3 in line. All in all, I would probably split one again if someone asked... because it's still ice cream!
google avatar

Jessica F.

Yelp
Phenomenal milkshakes! My favorites were the churro and Cookie Monster. Great variety to pick from. Only 2 staff members working and they were definitely busy but still were friendly. Had root beer floats and plain milkshakes too (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry).
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
This place was delicious!! Staff was friendly. My friend and I shared one specialty "yes day" milkshake for ~$15. That was plenty for the both of us. Some of the toppings tasted a little stale but the milkshake overall was good!
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
My friends and I visited Gracie's Milkshake Bar on 7.15.22. Definitely had some of the most visually pleasing and delicious ice cream we'd had in awhile. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Let's be real - you are paying for the picture. Milkshakes are over $13 and I would advise sharing them. Ours were delicious but just too much to consume for one person (in our opinion). Also it was so hot in the building our whipped cream melted ASAP. But still a fun experience.
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
This place is our kids (and parents) favorite. The milkshakes are over the top but oh so good since it's hand scooped blue bell ice cream. They recently added some new flavors too. We always love supporting this local (young woman-owned and operated) small business. It's always a stop when we have people in town!
google avatar

Tod D.

Yelp
So so, very watery. More milk than ice cream. Pretty much a sugar bomb lacking in any depth of flavor, just lots of sugar, and cheap gimmicky chocolate near the top of the glass. not great.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Such good milkshakes. Quick & didn't melt too quick. Ate the whole thing. Will definitely be coming back.

Caleb H.

Yelp
It's everything you expect it to be and the shakes are a great way to end an evening out. Parking was an issue as the lot was full and we had to really work to get a spot. But that is not Gracie's fault.
google avatar

Maria D.

Yelp
I've been here on 2 separate occasions; I've had The Unicorn and The Cookie Monster. The shakes themselves taste pretty good and are cute, but $15 is a little overkill. You're mainly paying for an Instagram-esque dressed up shake. However, I do love the environment and old time diner feel!! I would recommend bringing out-of-town friends/family here for a fun shake; but as a local, I wouldn't revisit.

Ryan F.

Yelp
Such a cool old looking milkshake bar with a extremely good milkshake. We shared one and and we were both completely satisfied to the fullest on looks, taste and friendly service from Gracie her self.
google avatar

Mary Kate E.

Yelp
I have been a couple of times now and I really like this place. I am not crazy about the ice cream getting everywhere, but I feel that is to be expected when ordering this type of dessert. It is meant to be over the top and monumental in presentation. Gracie's delivered, and I definitely prefer this place over Legendary downtown. Moreover, the customer service has always been good in the couple and I genuinely thing it is better since this place is lowkey comparable to over locations that share this same concept.
google avatar

Hayley H.

Yelp
We got the Cookie Monster shake and the presentation was awesome. I would have loved it if the milkshake had cookie dough or cookies in it though. Sadly we only had a half of a cookie topped on ours and then the cookie crisps on the outside of the shake. This place is a great concept. I got my Instagram photo and probably wouldnt go back just because the milkshake itself lacked flavor.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Very great milkshake place. Definitely a place for Instagram pictures. Great service and presentation. Only downside is that it's a little pricy but you get what you pay for. It's a great place to treat yourself too. Definitely will go back. Great place to go for friends, family, or a date.
google avatar

Justin M.

Yelp
I don't like milkshakes and OMG, this is the best milkshake I've ever had! You must stop here. The vibe here is so beautiful in the L&L Market and the milkshake was soooo good! RECOMMEND

Marlee B.

Yelp
We loved these gigantic milkshakes!! The ladies working there were so kind and friendly. I loved the location of the milkshake bar as well, there was many shops and stores all around to look at. The milkshake was very messy and big but totally worth it!! Highly highly recommend!!!!
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Located in Nashville's newest food hall, these shakes aren't just for show! They are as delicious as they are extravagant! Definitely big enough to share. Staff were all friendly and wore masks and gloves while handling your order. Plenty of space to socially distance. Enjoy your shake at the bar, at a table in the hall, or outside. Will def be back!
