Grackle

I recently stopped in for lunch at Grackle and everything we ordered was wonderful. We started with the Roasted Tomato Hummus appetizer, which was creamy and flavorful. For entrees, I had the salmon burger with sweet potato fries and spicy honey mustard sauce and absolutely loved it. My husband ordered the creamy serrano pasta with added shrimp and said it was rich and delicious. For dessert, we shared the chocolate flourless cake with a scoop of ice cream and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything tasted so good. Next time, I want to come back for their brunch menu, especially the creme brulee french toast. I saw another table order it and it looked amazing.

We had an early dinner last Friday and it was delicious! I had the chimichurri coulotte steak and it’s definitely one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. Love the dipping sauces and the sides that are available. My husband had the perfect storm burger and he was very pleased with his meal as well. Service was great. Atmosphere is a little low due how noisy the restaurant is.

5/5. This was my boyfriend and I’s first time here. “Tall Jake” was our bartender and he had fantastic suggestions and hinted us in the right direction. We sat at the bar for date night (no wait). The food tasted fresh, the vibe was cute, and portions were reasonable. Highly recommend the truffle parm fries and choice of three in-house made dipping sauces. The burrata pesto rigatoni was very balanced and tasted amazing. He really loved the salmon. Would absolutely come back - next time we’d swap the risotto for coconut rice with the salmon.

Perfect storm was the preferred burger. It was a huge size and had a nice spicy flavor. We didn't care much for the sauces we picked on the side but they weren't extra so no big deal. Service was good. We went on Halloween night at 5:00 and it was surprisingly pretty quiet, wasn't much of a vibe. There was still lots of parking available as well. Quality of food is good but it is a little to spendy to visit frequently.

We have been to Grackle several times. The food is always great and the service is excellent. The hostesses were helpful and organized. Today we had Jacob and Crystal waiting on our table. They were attentive and friendly. We had a shrimp taco appetizer which was delicious. We commented to each other it would make a great meal. We also had tostada bowls. I added grilled chicken to mine which was cooked perfectly. We will definitely go back when we were in the area. I would recommend making reservations. We lucked out tonight getting the last table for two.

You get what you pay for. In this case, it is quality, delicious, scratch-made food. We had the smash burgers, pineapple burger, and the Mac and cheese. Everything was delectable. The service and atmosphere was great. Fantastic spot for a date or a special occasion. The French fries and house made dipping sauces are unrivaled.

First visit - two vegetarian families. It’s definitely not one of those run of the mill chain restaurants. We enjoyed the experience, service was perfect, and there were enough vegetarian options in the menu. So why four stars for food? Don’t read too much into it - my rating is biased primarily because we have grown so accustomed to Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Mexican, Mediterranean taste, that some of the dishes we ordered weren’t meant for my taste buds. Just a personal preference thing. Your experience might be totally different.

We had an enjoyable lunch here. Emily B. was our server and she was helpful and friendly. Dry rub chicken wings were very good, the peach and berry salad with strawberry vinaigrette was outstanding! The mango pineapple burger and fried chicken sandwich were good also. The wild rice burger was too thick and it was very mushy wasn’t cooked enough. A suggestion would be a smaller portion and cooked so that it had a good sear on both sides. The yucca fries were very good. The atmosphere was very open and quite lovely.

Walking in I was marveled at how chic this restaurant looks. I was able to get a seat at the bar right away. Service was great checking in frequently. I decided to do mango everything and it was the perfect pairing. My drink of choice was Unwritten (by Natasha Bedingfield), it was light, sweet, and refreshing. The Mango Shrimp Tacos were beyond unique. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, with a lot of spice. The mango, toasted coconut slaw, and honey-lime aioli helped tone the spice down a bit but added to the overall flavor of the meal. I will get this again and again! The Fried Yuca with Tomatillo Cream Sauce & Apple Vinaigrette was a great side. Recommend trying all the sauces as they did not disappoint.

I have passed this place sooo many times since it opened and decided it was time to give it a shot! So glad we did! There is plenty of free parking! I would recommend getting a reservation. We got in right away with a reservation, but I saw plenty of people seated in the lobby hoping for a table to open up. The vibes are new, modern and relaxed. This would be a great first date spot! As far as the kiddos, I'd say leave them home for this spot. The service here was fantastic! Our server was Charles and he did a great job making sure our water glasses were full, that we were enjoying each item we ordered and that we were well taken care of! He was a delight! The food: We started with drinks. My boyfriend got a beer, which he really enjoyed and I got a nonalcoholic rhubarb lemonade! Very refreshing and a perfect amount of rhubarb! Next was the cheesy tuscan dip! Absolutely get this!! You can pick between bread or chips and I think either would be delicious with this! It was creamy, cheesy and wasn't too hot when it came out! For entrees, my boyfriend got the salmon burger and basically inhaled it! He said it was done very well and had great flavors! I got the dry rub chicken wings from the appetizer section. Do yourself a favor and get these, but get the sauce on the side! The dry rub was delicious!! When I saw creme brûlée, I knew I had to get it! So many places have this as a dessert item and fail at making it correctly! This place is not one of them, and dare I say the best in the twin cities!? It was cool, creamy, the sugar was done well! The flavor was spectacular! I'll definitely be thinking about this for awhile! Save room and give it a try as well!! I would absolutely recommend this place!

Easy parking. Beautiful exterior and interior with great vibes and ambiance. The restaurant has great energy and plenty of seating options depending on occasion or group size. Service was friendly and interactive. Kitchen service was was quick getting out food, but the bar service was slow getting out drinks. Order: Dry rub chicken wings with sweet Thai sauce on the side. Delicious crispy exterior that was perfectly seasoned. Interior was juicy. If you know you know always have sauce on the side to dip if needed. These were good with or without sauce. Crispy potato wedges with dipping sauce. Crispy and seasoned perfectly. Honey mustard and Calabrian chili sauce were delicious. Ribeye steak with smashed potatoes and asparagus. Cooked perfect medium rare temp but the fat was not rendered enough and created many fatty bites. Cream brulee dessert. Delicious. Just what you would want. Overall great experience.

First time visiting Grackle, Celebrated a birthday party with 8 others. Everyone's food was delicious, service was great, everything top notch. The atmosphere was very nice, Parking was a little hard but we all found a spot. They have delicious sauces for dipping fries etc.... There Crem bro le was enormous and to die for... will for sure be back to try many more dishes.

First time dining at Grackle and I was impressed! The menu was broad and had a wide range of entree options. I ordered the Steak & Spicy Noodles and it was delicious! I also tried their Grackle Mule and it was so refreshing. They also serve brunch until 2pm on Sundays. The wait staff was prompt and friendly. Something I really appreciated was complimentary sanitary products in the restroom. Little things like that are just nice to see. A company going out of their way to make your day easier - well done, Grackle!

Stopped by Grackle during happy hour while shopping in Maple Grove. I ordered the fries, smash burger and chicken tinga special taco. All were good, especially the burger. I ordered two more because they are more like sliders. The service and ambiance is great. Will definetly be back.

**First time at Grackle.** We were greeted with great hospitality from the host, which set a positive tone but unfortunately, service dropped off once we were seated. We arrived around 4:45 PM, and it wasn't busy, but it took over 10 minutes for anyone to greet us. Our server seemed attentive to nearby tables, but ours (the only one with kids) was noticeably overlooked. It took another 15 minutes just to place our order. **Food came out quickly once ordered**, which we appreciated. We started with the **Tuna Stacker** -- it was good, fresh, and flavorful, but I didn't love how the sauce was underneath everything. Would've preferred it on the chip itself for better balance. The chip was too big, the ratio was off. 6.5/10 My husband got the **Perfect Storm Burger** great flavor overall, though the bacon was a bit overpowering. 7/10 I had the **Gochujang Chicken Sandwich** -- unfortunately, it was a bit one-note. The chicken was juicy. The tomato and lettuce didn't really work with it; something like a slaw or creamy sauce would've helped balance it better. 5/10 The **Sriracha Honey Lime sauce** was amazing definitely a must-try! 10/10 **Truffle aioli** was pretty standard. 8/10 **Fries** were fantastic crisp, hot, and well-seasoned. 7.5/10 The **kids' chicken tenders** looked great too solid portion and fresh.7/10 We'll probably give Grackle another shot. The food has potential, and some items were really enjoyable. But service needs work, especially when it's not busy. It's also on the pricier side, so hoping for a more consistent experience next time.

Came here forDinner with some friends. Food was okay but it's so expensive. We did enjoy the signature cocktails. I think this place will be a cocktail only place for us if we return.

I have to start out with cheese curds to die for and a bonus they were on the happy hour menu for $6.00. Honestly melt in your mouth, best I have ever had! The pork chop was thick cut and Delicious and as you can see plated very nicely with the sides. My fiancé had cheeseburger from HH men also $6.00, it was actually a smash burger and she loved it, a little small but perfect size for her. The atmosphere here is very nice and service was excellent. Will be back!

First time here yesterday and it was great! I really like their sister restaurant (Margie's) and Grackle was a similar vibe and quality (both great). Our server was very nice and helpful and the food was delish. Definitely will be back!

Been here several times and the service is always great and food even better! From scratch kitchen so you know everything you try is going to be delicious. Has a pretty standard upscale restaurant feel, very clean but not a lot of super unique character

What was once a tumbleweed-infested corner building, serving mid-tasting burgers, has been revived with love into one of the area's most trendy and delicious modern eateries. I'm thrilled to award five stars to this incredible little (corner) gem, in the heart of Maple Grove - Grackle is definitely THAT (new) girl. A family-owned business, Grackle's foundational belief as a restaurant is based on community. Building on the foundation of community, Grackle has curated a farm-to-table menu highlighting both seasonal and local treasures exclusively found in Minnesota. At the heart of their approach, most (if not all) of the food items on their menu are sourced fresh, and, most importantly, all are local. Moreover, all of Grackle's food - from the syrups in their cocktails, to their mouth-watering array of sauces - is made entirely from scratch, beautifully executed by their kitchen staff. The feel of comfort and hospitality doesn't end with Grackle's food, but rather is extended through their hospitality. Regardless of the type (or size) of establishment you are, one of the most fundamental traits that inevitably will distinguish and contribute to the overall success and longevity of an eatery is how it treats its diners. Customer service is not a dying art, and while I can't speak for everyone's experience at Grackle, our server had the gift of hospitality. She greeted us with immense joy and happily served our table as if we were dining in her own home. She took her time to ask if we were first-timers, share a little background about the restaurant, describe the menu concept and food preparation, and ended with an array of her own recommendations. It was a true delight to be attended to by someone who thoroughly represented the concepts of community and hospitality. Our server ensured that our experience and meals were up to par by continuously checking on our tables, refilling our drinks, and being attentive without being overbearing. She overall did a phenomenal job of ensuring we had an outstanding, first-time dining experience. The food in one sentence: outstanding, comforting, nourishing for the soul, type of meals. I enjoyed a savory "Tomato Basil Steak Sandwich". The warmth & freshness of the freshly made pita bread, wrapped around a perfectly marinated, grilled steak, was the stuff of dreams. Charged with lettuce, charred cherry tomatoes that exploded at bite, and an exquisite basil sauce that married all of the fixings together, every bite of this sandwich was savior than the last. As a side, I went for the Yucca fries. The Yucca was fried to perfect crispness. Served with two of their house-made sauces: "Sun-Dried Tomato Aioli" & "Chimichurri Aioli", this side made the meal a home run! Our table also enjoyed the "Picantería Rice Bowl". Sensational! The best way to enjoy this dish was to sample a little bit of everything in one bite. The pinto beans were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Same for the rice and sweet plantains. While this may seem like "simpler" elements on a dish, getting the right flavor profiles, textures, and flavors for each of these components to then marry them together into such a special dish is genuinely exceptional. Bravo for all of our meals! As well as our drinks. You cannot go wrong with "The Test Kitchen Margarita", even if you're not into Tequila. It's refreshing, light, not too sour, and the right amount of booze. The "Grackle Mule" was also delightful in flavor and taste. The decor of this restaurant is stunning. Industrial, mixed with modern farmhouse and touches of luxe throughout (gorgeous light fixtures!) Grackle designer revamped this space into a beautiful dining room that accommodates both large and small groups, with ample space between patrons to dine comfortably. Excellent lighting as well. There is also a covered patio that we did not venture out to due to how busy the restaurant was, but that area (and the bar) were both lively and inviting. Overall: Value: 10/10; Food Quality: 10/10; Customer Service: 10/10! I look forward to returning to Grackle, whether it's for lunch, dinner (again), or Happy Hour. It is a treat to have a family-owned gem such as this one, joining a few other treasures in the heart of Maple Grove. I wish Grackle all the success it deserves and encourage you to check them out for yourself. It will be a meal you won't regret, or forget!

Beautiful new restaurant in Maple Grove with delicious food and great service. I met a friend of mine here for dinner after work on a Friday. I would recommend making reservations. The place gets busy very quickly. My friend opted for couple of appetizers. She got the Mango Shrimp tacos with toasted coconut slaw, diced mango, fresno peppers and Sriracha honey lime aioli and the Elote dip which came with housemade tortillachips. I was in the mood for a burger so ended up getting the perfect storm burger with Monterey cheese, Bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion and Calabria chili aioli on a brioche bun. We both loved the food. Ended up getting the Mango coconut cheesecake for dessert and it was to die for. It's a must try if you are a cheesecake fan. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu

First timer here - beautiful, clean, spacious, with a welcoming ambiance. Timely, friendly service, great food, loved the fried yuca, unique and super tasty. Salmon burger was dynamite! Friend loved her berry salad - overall excellent and will definitely be back! Don't sleep on this place...cocktail menu looked fun, several mocktails, and good wine selection. it's unique and worth a stop in!

Rounding up to a 2.5. We came on a Saturday for lunch. There was no lunch menu, but a small brunch addition. Menu seems to lack whether it wants to be high end or a burger place. The gochujang chicken sandwich seemed like a frozen chicken piece and not made in house, slathered with way too much sauce, so I was covered in it. (And I do love sauce, but this was too much.). Our food took a while to actually get to us, and was generally bland. Everything is way too expensive for what it is. With other similar restaurants in maple grove, I'd rather go there. We'd just had a dinner the night before in Wayzata, and had much better food for the same price. I shouldn't be paying the same price for a burger as I did hand crafted tapas. Am I supposed to be thankful that fries are included and not an up charge? Kind of insane that most pasta dishes have no protein. But don't worry, you can add on chicken and make your meal $30 dollars! I'll just stick to Biagis if I'm in the area.

I haven't had a chance to try out Grackle since they've opened but took a few out of friends here as they were so staying in Maple Grove and I am so glad we did! We had reservations for 630 and highly encourage you to make a reservation if coming for dinner before 8 because it gets packed - even on weekdays! We were seated in the center booths, there were only four of us and the table was HUGE! Even so, thankfully we were able to still hear each other and enjoy some great conversations. They also have a kids menu if needed that comes with crayons to keep little ones busy in case they inevitably get bored of the adults talking. I ordered the chimichurri steak with grilled asparagus and French fries. I appreciate that I get to choose an extra sauce and got the truffle aioli for my fries which just brought it up a whole 'nother level - love a solid aioli! I asked for my steak medium and it was absolute PERFECTION! So juicy, so much great flavor, the chimichurri was absolutely banging. The whole meal was honestly so delicious, I had to drag my husband there the next day and I had the whole meal all over again except we got some of the bruschetta to share. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE BRUSHCETTA. We learned they make the balsamic vinegar in house which is truly *chefs kiss*, the tomatoes, the (cheese) has the perfect consistency and just brings everything together so nicely. We absolutely devoured the plate and highly recommend!!

My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday. We were told it was going to be a 35min wait, but we're seated after about 5 min. The restaurant is beautiful and service was decent. We started with some non-alcoholic drinks which took quite a while to come out, but were tasty. However I did think $12 for a kombucha seemed a little steep. For dinner we ordered the salmon and the tostada salad with chicken. Both were 10/10! The food was great and we'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. I'd also try to come during happy hour because it ended up being $91 for 2 ppl for dinner which was more than I was hoping considering we didn't get an app or alcohol. Overall a nice addition to the maple grove area!

The experience and the food at Grackle have been amazing. I have been to this restaurant several times since it has opened and the staff is always upbeat, clearly enjoying what they do. The food is incredible, I have yet to eat something I dislike there. The Burrata Crostini is by far my favorite starter on the menu. It's typically decently busy but the noise levels don't get out of control, I can hear whoever I am with just fine. You should go to Grackle, you won't regret it!

Grackle had an upscale look and feel. I sat at the bar and was able to order a meal, which is always nice when there is a wait for a table. Service was friendly and quick. Prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food warrants the extra dollars. I ordered the Auntie B's Bowl and added chicken. It came out to $30 with tax. This would have been 5 stars but I asked to swap out the dressing with another dressing, and got no dressing instead. Not a huge deal as it was still very good.

An amazing new hit spot in maple grove. Great for a special date night. It is a little pricey, but worth it to me. You get excepted service and ambiance like you would at an upscale restaurant in Minneapolis for half the cost. The food is unique and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at a new unique edition to maple grove's restaurant scene. I started with the elote dip. It was I'd give an 8/10, good but forgettable, but definitely a good option and a good twist on elote. Then I had the Serrano pasta which was incredible. 100/10. It had a surprising but complex and delicious flavor palette. Never had something quite like it. Spicy and creamy and complex. Definitely going back for more. Sweet potato fries were standard but good and the sauces paired with were exceptional.

Cocktails were our reward for yard work, his a martini and mine a well-balanced rum drink with habanero bitters. We saw several delicious-looking appetizers and sharables on the menu, but we went straight for entrees: the chimichurri coulotte steak for him, and the seared halibut for me. His steak was prepared perfectly, adorned with chimichurri sauce and accompanied by his choice of potato (fries), dip (Calabrian aioli) and vegetable (broccolini) -- all nicely done. The seared halibut was deliciously flaky and tender, if a tad overdone. The overall dish was presented with beet zoodles, and shrimp pontalba potatoes, all served atop a thick lemon pistachio cream sauce. First let me say I enjoyed the dish... But... there was a lot going on and it might have benefited from a simpler, more straightforward presentation. The eight-ounce halibut portion is larger than necessary, the cream was thicker and more abundant than needed, and the few pieces of shrimp were confusing. Yes, I ate it all anyway. We decided to share the crème brûlée along with a few sips of a nice tequila. We had impeccable service from Jenna for the entire meal, so it was a little disappointing (and not at all her fault) that the dessert was delivered right away and the 1942 took a while. We consider ourselves crème brûlée aficionados, and found the brûlée to have a perfect crunch and the custard to be somehow more rich and intensely vanilla-flavored than usual, where we might have preferred just a tad more nuance. My wife and I visited Grackle for the first time on Friday, September 19, 2025. We went in with no expectations, other than trying out a new spot in our area. Upon entering, we were greeted by a clean cut gentleman with a smile, who led us to a hightop in the bar, after confirming that spot was alright with us. The space is modern, with an upscale yet not stuffy feel, good natural lighting, and a nice view of the Arbor Lake Fountain. My wife and I both commented that the TV's were cut off almost in half by the wrap-around fixture that holds various liquor bottles. The only way to catch a game or watch something, would be to sit at the actual bar rail itself. An unfortunate oversight. Our server, who was also the bartender, greeted us after about 4 minutes, apologizing for the slight delay. She was friendly, and suggested a sample of a beer before my wife decided between that or an Espresso Martini. I decided on the Pink Pony Club cocktail. We placed our order at the same time as our drinks, opting for the Cheesy Tuscan Dip, and a side of the Grilled Asparagus to share. Our food came out very quickly, I'd say within a 6 to 8 minute window. My cocktail was dropped off shortly after our food arrived, which was dropped off by another server. It was a pretty light pink concoction in a small martini type glass, garnished with raspberries. The flavor was tart and sweet, and it was an enjoyable sipper. At this point, my wife still has not received her sample of beer, and we did not have waters. Being in the industry myself, I commented that the bartender had quite a lot on her plate for being the only one behind the bar. She had a nearly full bar rail, plus at least us at a hightop, as well as making the drinks for both her patrons and server tickets. As far as the food, the Tuscan Dip was very good; flavorful, cheesy, and a good temperature without scalding tongues. The grilled asparagus was cooked well, however lacked flavor and was rather bland, which was a disappointment. We were around 80% done with our food when the beer sample was finally delivered to our table by the same server that had brought my cocktail previously. At this point, my wife and I were trying to stay positive, because we knew our bartender was busy, but leaving a guest with no beverage for almost the entirety of their visit was hard to swallow (no pun intended). Even asking a coworker or manager to drop waters at our table would've been better than nothing. She did end up getting the beer, and this was the second time our bartender/server came to our table beyond the initial table greeting. We were both a little surprised she didn't mention the delay or apologize. We never want things for free, but even a simple apology or honesty that she's completely overwhelmed or just forgot is better than glossing over the fact that my wife didn't have a beverage of any sorts for almost the entirety of our visit. We finished our food a few minutes later, stayed a bit longer so she had time to finish her beer, and then tabbed out. We were pleasant the entire time, didn't complain at all, but we did leave an 18% gratuity instead of our typical 20-30%. It pained us to do so, but again, there's just no excuse for leaving someone without so much as a water, especially after they've been eating their meal and are almost finished. Overall, we left pretty disappointed. I understand Grackle is still a new establishment and ironing out its issues. Perhaps hiring a barback to help the bartender with server tickets so the bartender can focus more on their tables and service would mitigate a future issue like this.

Have only been for late night happy hour, but a great deal, better than expected food and portions not downsized to reflect happy hour pricing. Our waitress was great and the ambiance is is dark and woody, a marked difference from its former use of a Wahlburger.

Nice new restaurant in Maple Grove. Attractive surroundings with lots of food, beverage, and desert options. Parking is easy, service is quick and friendly. I recommend giving it a try!

On the way from the MSP airport to Alexandria, my family stopped by Grackle for a late lunch/early dinner. The ambiance was great with cozy seating and warm lighting. The burrata appetizer was delicious and had a good portion for 4 people. We also ordered the sweet potatoes fries with the chimichurri sauce. Again, the portion was great and the sauce was PHENOMENAL. I ordered the pesto pasta with chicken. The chicken was tasty and grilled great. However, the pesto sauce was underwhelming and a little under seasoned. The garlic bread on the side was the best part- warm, chewy, crunchy crust, and garlicky!! Service was meh, but our server seemed quite busy as he was jumping between multiple tables and bartending. Overall this was a good spot, just didn't quite hit the mark with my entree or service.

We arrived around 7:20 on a Friday night and we had to wait around 45 mins for a party of four, they have a comfortable waiting area. We started with the Truffle Dippers, the 3 sauces we chose were Truffle Aioli, Ranch, and Chimichurri Aioli. The Truffle was BOMMBB, the ranch tasted like normal ranch, and the chimichurri was a little too earthy for me. The potatoes were sprinkled with the truffle & they were delicious. I ordered the wild rice burger and it was so good, it had tons of flavor! I got the sun dried tomato aioli and that one was a little too earthy for me too, but they do have regular ketchup. My friend got the side of Mac n cheese and it was very cheesy! The service was good and the food came out pretty quick given how many people were there!

It can get a little loud but nothing crazy, the back area tends to not be as loud. The food is amazing! Love that this isn't a chain restaurant and they have the best sauces!

I had heard great things about Gackle so I had to check it out for myself! There was a parking lot right on site that was convenient, but also a bit full. The inside had a very modern feel right when you walked in and was very cute! We were seated right away and beat the dinner rush on a Thursday at 4:30. I ordered the unwritten drink (based on Natasha Benningfields song) and it was delicious! I also ordered the tomato basil steak burger which was fantastic! Would definitely recommend! They had a great selection of options and a great ambiance. I would recommend!

Loved our experience at Grackle. Went for a date night and returned for Mother's Day brunch a week or so later, Great food and drinks. Classy but quaint with good service, Will certainly return.

I had high expectations for grackle because my parents love it. I got the farmers market salad and it was fine. I was disappointed in the amount of chicken that they gave me, especially since it was $6 up charge... the service was great, but my food was just okay. The salad in size was good, but the toppings were minimal and there was close to no quinoa on it. I also prefer warm sweet potatoes, and these were cold.

Went to Grackle on a Sunday around 5:30pm. It was fairly crowded and a little noisy, but not bad considering how many people were there. I would say if you are sensitive to noise you may want to avoid high traffic times. The lighting was good (and the light fixtures were pretty cool looking). Ambiance was relaxed, mid to upscale. We were not dressed up and felt quite comfortable. We ordered drinks. They came out pretty quickly. I ordered an old fashioned and it was really good. I love that drink and this one would be rated on the better than average scale. My daughter ordered a drink as well, I can't remember the name of it but she mostly enjoyed it. It was refreshing and light, but it tasted a little like a watered down Moscow Mule and didn't have as much of an orange flavor as she was expecting based on the description on the menu. The other person in our party ordered a bottle of wine (if you don't finish you can take the bottle home). The bottle was served in one of those marble containers that keeps the wine cold. The food was generally good and was served fairly quickly. My daughter had the calamari. She said it was good, but the batter was a little heavy, and it was a little bland. That said, she still said it was good. The other person in our party and I both had the grilled salmon. The salmon was very good, maybe a little overcooked, but I get that most people probably like their fish a bit more well done than I. It came with risotto and asparagus. The risotto was excellent, very creamy and well cooked and well seasoned. I was concerned about the asparagus because it was pretty large and large ones tend to be a bit woody. These were not woody at all, they were very good. The service was hit or miss. The bussers were very good. They were attentive and collected dirty plates quickly. Our server was friendly and not overly attentive, sometimes not attentive enough. We were not rushed at all, but when we were done there was quite a wait to receive the bill. A generally good experience. We may go back, and would recommend that friends and family try it out.

Grackles is a wonderful addition to Maple Grove's restaurant scene. I'm so tired of the chain restaurants and love supporting local businesses. The food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. They don't skimp on portions either. Reservations and walk-ins are available. The restaurant is large with some patio seating, bar seating, and main area dining. We ordered the following and shared the following. Listing our top favorites first: 5/5 Bone-in Ribeye. Nice sized steak and perfectly grilled. It's very annoying when restaurants overcook a steak. The ribeye comes with a choice of two sides, in which we got the asparagus and baby broccoli 5/5 Burrata Avocado Toast. This was on their separate brunch menu and not on the main menu so I hope that it becomes a regular item! It was so good! Toast was nice thick slices, with a generous smear of avocado, 2 eggs (your choice of how you want them cooked), greens, drizzle of balsamic , and 2 half slices of burrata. 5/5 Crème Brûlée French Toast. OMG!! This was also on a separate brunch menu but it definitely needs to become a regular menu item. We got 4 large triangles of French toast, drizzled with a nice caramel sauce and topped with walnuts. Then a side of perfectly made crème brûlée topped with fresh fruit. This is the only item that I didn't take a photo of because no one was patient enough to wait! 4/5 Elote corn dip. An appetizer with a side of freshly made corn chips (not from a bag). It's warm, cheesy, pops of sweetness from the corn, and yummy. It was good but not a "wow" for us like the other three items listed above 3/5 Serrano Pasta. This was slightly disappointing for us. The pasta was not al dente, slightly over cooked. The sauce is creamy and a bit too much lime. I liked the fresh tomatillo in it. It also has a nice kick of heat on the back end. I've read reviews in which people complained about the price but honestly I feel that the quality of freshly made food is worth a few extra dollars. Our bill came out a little over $200 (with the tip) for the 5 dishes, 3 beers, a soda, and we also got 2 free mimosas for Mother's Day. So about $50/person for quality food and great service.

I had such a great first experience at Grackle! From the moment we sat down, the service was top-notch our server went above and beyond to walk us through the menu, offer suggestions based on our preferences, and make sure we felt welcomed. You could really tell she cared. What stood out the most (besides the amazing food) was how much thought goes into their ingredients. Everything is locally sourced from Minnesota except for the fish, which is still incredibly fresh. The menu has something for everyone: burgers, noodles, salads all made with unique, high-quality twists. If you're getting a burger, prepare to be wowed they offer around 12 different house-made sauces, which you never see at most restaurants. It's such a fun and flavorful experience! And don't even get me started on dessert... it was absolutely to die for. Make sure you save room! Highly recommend for anyone looking for thoughtful food, warm service, and a menu that balances creativity with comfort. I'll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere and busy restaurant that I'll return to when I'm in the area. My guy chose it as it was well known for 2 of my favorites: espresso martinis and burrata - they didn't disappoint on either! We sat at the bar due to the wait and excited our experience greatly. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. My three favorite items of the evening were my espresso martinis, burrata crostini and Fall risotto. My mouth is watering as I type this.

Grackle is such a vibe, there's the greenery and gold lights above the bar, not to mention they make a great espresso martini. My friend and I took a late lunch here, our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. I'd go here again in a heartbeat.

Almost didn't make it to Grackle's soft opening but I lucked out and snagged a spot. I am so glad I did! It's refreshing to see a new restaurant opening in the northern suburbs, and so exciting that you know it's going to be amazing before you even try it. As a huge fan of Margie's, to hear that they were opening another restaurant closer to me was excellent news. They really did well with transforming the old Wahlburgers into something chic and modern without being pretentious. I liked the atmosphere. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Just like Margie's, Grackle's scratch kitchen yielded phenomenal results. Everything I ate and drank was amazing. I absolutely loved the wild rice burger and I highly recommend trying the apple vinaigrette if you're getting a salad. It was a delightfully refreshing and fall-like flavor that I haven't had anywhere else. My favorite cocktail of the evening was the Cabin Country. The maple and orange flavors gave me boozy breakfast vibes. I can't wait until my next visit!

Attended the soft opening and am impressed with the interior design and comfy booths, plenty of large spaces for big groups. Wait staff was plentiful being a soft open - both of our waitresses were attentive & answered questions etc. The downside for a lunch destination would be the price $24 for the salad w/ chicken added and a Fig Bacon Chutney sandwich w/ chicken rather than ground beef at $20. One mock tail and a Bloody Mary were satisfying and priced decent. Busy parking lot but easy in and out to Hemlock or the boulevard.

We had reservations for the day after Valentine's Day to celebrate. We have been big fans or Margie's so we were excited to see how Grackle was. We were not disappointed. They had plenty of staff to get us seated. We had a reservation. My husband is a fan of Jay's old Fashion which he ordered. Service was quick and knowledgeable. We ordered the elote corn dip with chips. It was delicious. My husband had a bowl and I had a salad with grilled shrimp skewers. We were happy with our choices. Everything was very good. Since it was a special occasion we also got mango cheesecake which was a really tasty cheesecake. There was good lighting, attractive decor. Everything was clean and comfortable.

I've drove past this restaurant so many times and finally had the opportunity to come try their food. I was surprised to hear they have a sister restaurant in Andover, my daughter has eaten at. This restaurant has a mixed fusion of American and Mexican. I ordered the yellow finally tuna stacker which was delicious. My daughter ordered cheesy elote dip and burger. My ceasar salad actually had spicy peppers mixed in there too. Interesting and still delicious. Service was awesome, my server offered me a sample of the ceasar dressing before I decided to place the order. Ambiance is very chill, family type dining. The middle dining area has bigger tables to accommodate 6 people. They have this fresh farm style look to their style.

I am chuckling at myself while putting this together. My wife suggested we try Grackle, because one - it is not another chain restaurant, and it replaced Wahlburger. For some reason, I had it in my mind that the place was a salad/plant-based health food restaurant. I demurred the suggestion for the longest time on these merits. We ended up going and I was so pleasantly surprised with the presentation of the...mainly because my expectations were so low LOL The inner decor has not changed too much, but it is a little dark and it made it hard to read the menu. The staff was very prompt personable, and knew their menu. Overall the menu has some that would appeal to just about everyone. We were not too hungry so we opted to split a burger and a salad. The Ensalada Del Caesar was quite good. I really enjoyed their spin of the plain old Ceasor Salad. I appreciated that they the the dressing on the side. Oftentimes, restaurants drown their salads with dressing. The Fresno peppers offered a bit of fresh heat to the salad. We split The Perfect Storm Burger. All restaurants get an extra start who can cook and serve their burgers as requested. So Grackle gets an extra star for that. The burger is a bit messy, but it has tons of flavour, and textures in it. I would totally get this one again. The pricing is slightly on the spendy side...at least what I thought we got for lunch. Will undoubtedly check this establishment out again. One item of note. we arrived at the time they opened the restaurant. when we left there was already a line of patrons waiting to be seated. They they reservations, so plan accordingly.

The restaurant vibe and decor was so fun.. great vibe for a date night or girls night out. I was wowed at the service here. The attention was exceptional. I was very impressed. My salad was great and they even boxed up the leftovers for me. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger but was not impressed by the meal vs the price. I would definitely return again for drinks and some apps next time to give it another go.

We went to Grackle for the first time this weekend and really enjoyed! The cocktails were so tasty and the food was delicious. The shrimp tacos and Mac and cheese were favorites. The service was good and food came out quickly too for how busy it was. I would suggest making a reservation as this place is popular (and for good reason!). There is something for everyone on the menu no matter your tastes! We will definitely be returning.

We have been hesitant due to the mixed reviews we've heard from people, but figured that the restaurant was still figuring things out since they just opened roughly a year ago. We decided to finally take a chance with some family from out of town for lunch. My general take was disappointment. Service was sort of awkward and it seemed that a few people on the staff didn't know the table numbers very well, but that's not a big deal in my eyes. Decor looked great! The drinks and starter we got were good! But generally the main courses is where it fell flat. There were some things that tasted fresh, but most of what we get needed to taste great to justify the cost we were paying. From what our experience was, the value isn't really there. I understand "prices are insane these days", but I don't foresee the survival of a restaurant charging the same prices of an upscale establishment, while not supplying the same quality and flavor as one. Buns to the sandwiches and burgers were dense and not palatable. The breaded chicken tasted like a wing stop chicken tender. Nothing wrong with wing stop chicken, but that's not what I'm expecting on my $18 chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was dry and if it weren't for the copious amount of sauce on the sandwich, it wouldn't have any flavor to it. The saving grace was being able to pick an included dipping sauce for the fries and the homemade pickles being pretty good. The breakfast burger advertised the ground meat having multiple different meats including bacon and chorizo, but none of which was present in taste. I'm assuming the non-ground beef meats were a smaller percentage in the blend. The Mac and cheese tasted great at first, but then half way through eating it almost completely separated with a pool of butter/oil forming at the bottom. Maybe this is just my personal frustrated opinion, but butter needs to be a flavor enhancer, not a base. Not sure what happened here. Overall, I would go sit at the bar for drinks and apps, but I do not plan on eating another meal here until either prices drop (unlikely based on what the owners are commenting on other reviews) or quality ramps up a notch.

Great fancy downtown feeling space in the heart of Maple Grove! Love the huge booths and unique lighting! No reservations available when we went a couple weeks ago. (I think that changed now for large groups?) We got there at 5pm on a Wednesday and waited 20 minutes... Word about great food travels fast! We had a fancy cocktail and dinner and enjoyed it all! I had the salmon burger which I would definitely get again. I had the side salad instead of the fries. I thought it would be a little bit of greens on the plate with the burger but it came out early and was huge!

The food here is great!! Apparently this is a new place , it's super trendy . Nice vibe. Service was very good from walking in the door until you leave . I would absolutely recommend this place. I'll be back, it's usually busy so either go early or late .

Tacos and steak are great options here. Love the fusion of the meal options that's you can have steak, seafood or noodles.

We love family-owned, local businesses and wanted to support them the best we can. We came here on a very hot Saturday afternoon. Our server was kind and very attentive. Our water glasses were always full. Food came after a short while. They were all delicious. We appreciate the big tables as we may come again with more people! My husband even said he would bring people from his work here. I hope they stay in business for a while. Nice job so far!
