Yelp
Graffiti Alley, hidden in the art district of Baltimore, less than 1 mile away from the train station. Never heard of it? Well that is because this little alley is not visible from the street, but luckily fellow Yelp members created a Yelp page and reviewed this place so that I could find it.
Between 19 1/2 street from Howard Street, you will find this outdoor graffiti art gallery, so to speak, with vivid colors, designs and words creatively adoring all of the walls, floors and even trash cans down this "L" shape alley.
Just as you have read from other fellow Yelp member reviews and seen in their photos, this is a neat place to take in some local perspective and take a few photos.
Based on some of the photos on this Yelp page and a few brief articles written about Graffiti Alley (in which you can google on your own), it looks like the designs on display here change often. So even if you were to visit this place today, perhaps a few months from now, there will be new images/ art.
No where else in Baltimore is graffiti legal but here, behind an art warehouse.
Definitely worth a quick visit if you are in this area to see talented street artists works of art. Please note that the alley way is not shaded so if you come during the hot and humid summer (like my husband, myself and our little girl dog did), you will have a lot of direct sun hitting your face.
