Where to Order Delivery in Nashville, According to a Country Singer | Eater

"For breakfast or lunch, Walls often finds herself ordering from this self-described “superfood cafe.” Unlike others in the area, “this one is not vegan, so you can add egg to your avocado toast and get an extra kick of protein after a workout,” she says. Her order: The superfruit bowl plus egg and avocado toast." - Rebecca Strassberg

You can’t have biscuits and gravy every morning in Nashville. The açaí bowls at Grain & Berry will really surprise you: delicious, healthy, easy and a true value. The energy and service alone would be reason enough to give them a try.

Google
Found a LARGE piece of plastic in my açaí bowl! Açaí bowl wasn’t great; quesadilla was good.

Delicious bowls and a cool atmosphere! We LOVE acai bowls - Grains and berries offered a different variety of bowls new to us. They even allowed us to taste test the different bowl bases: açaí, pitaya, and spirulina - each were yummy! I went with the pitaya base. 😍I highly recommend this place - especially if you’ve an açaí bowl fan.

Google
Great atmosphere, beautiful bowls that are extremely filling. We all built our own bowl with different bases….taste testing time…. The açaí is the sweet, spirulina is mild sweetness and the pitaya is flavorful but not sweet.

Google
I feel like a hater among these comments but I can’t lie. I’ve had many açaí bowls in my life and these look very pretty, but it was not tasty. Granola tasted old and the acai base was already runny when I started eating it. The flavor of the base was also not the most pleasant. But, the atmosphere is very nice as well as the workers. But if you’re looking for an amazing acai bowl maybe don’t come. But then again I’m very lucky and this is just my opinion. A lot of others feel strongly about this place.

Very yummy and nice presentation!! I had a flatbread and an acai bowl and swapped blueberrries for pineapple. Taking a star off because they charge for substitutions, it's pricey, and they had no air conditioning. It was hotter inside than it was outside

Came here for a quick, healthy breakfast while visiting Nashville. It was about half full, but there were plenty of tables to choose from. The staff behind the counter was very busy, but everyone was friendly and helpful. There were so many good choices, but finally decided on The Grain & Berry and The Relax, Eat, Repeat Superfood Bowls. For the base, your options are acai, spirulina, pitaya, or yogurt. I picked pitaya for both as I saw a few orders came out and it looked great. Also, ordered the Let's go Pesto Quesadilla. Within 10 minutes, my order was ready for pickup at the window. Both bowls looked great as they were carefully put together and full of so many toppings. Not only did they look good, they tasted equally as good. Every bite was full of so many flavors and textures. I kept turning the bowl to get a different taste as each bite was different. The pitaya was blended nicely and there were so many fresh fruits. The quesadilla was surprisingly just as good and it was a good complement to the bowls. The combination of the pesto, feta, basil and the balsamic glaze went well with the plant based chicken. If I was in town longer, I would've definitely come back to try some of the other menu options. Many healthy food options that tasted great and was made by very friendly staff.

Google
First time we came here was a magnificent thick smoothie bowl with a good texture and served in a big glass bowl. It made it pretty and special. This time was watery and served in throw away plastic container. Still the gronola and ingredients tasted good. Bathroom was in need of some help. I wont be going out of my way/ paying for parking again honestly. I’ll get my fix closer to home.

Yelp
This is a great place for smoothie drinks & bowls. My favorite bowl to build is the acai bowl. Love: topping choices, fresh fruit, kind & welcoming customer service Like: portion sizes to cost (bowls can be big), space is clean and plenty of seating Parking can be a challenge sometimes.

Yelp
Adorable healthy eatery. Upon walking in I was hand ordered my smoothies. Minutes later they were done. Love that they use all fresh ingredients. My Health nut smoothie was delicious!

Yelp
Flatbreads and quesadillas were really yummy while being healthy! Fresh toppings, with plant based proteins on many of the options, and the choice between vegan or regular cheeses. There are various sauce options as well, from pesto, marinara, and buffalo. The crust can either be cauliflower, broccoli, or vegan cauliflower. The smoothie bowl was also good. The pitaya (dragonfruit) did not have that strong of a flavor, but the granola and fresh fruit add texture and flavor. Dog friendly which was a plus!

Yelp
Was craving an açaí bowl and this hit the spot!! The workers seemed really knowledgeable and answered any questions we had on the bowls. Lots of seating inside but we actually sat outside and they even had some games to play so you can sit and hangout for a while. Would come here again!

Yelp
The açaí bowls are great! Great size and plenty of options. The customer service was good as well. I was greeted while entering the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back soon to try other things.

Yelp
Hands down the best acai bowl for a somewhat lower price. I'm from CA and never paid more than $10 for my acai bowls back home but this one definitely matches the taste and price I like. They were so kind and friendly when I came in.

Yelp
This place is a masterpiece of AÇAÍ bowls!!! The quality of the ingredients are amazingly fresh. All of the fruit is perfectly ripened. The peanut butter sauce is divined. The chilled bowls that hold the. Açaí are next level. I've eaten these kind of balls all over the country and this is one of the best presentation and quality products I have found. This might just be my new favorite place in Nashville. I got the grain and berry açaí bowl! Staff is friendly place is clean but these bowls OMG just to die for I mean you must try!

Judy W.

Yelp
Great service and incredible food! My niece told us about this business and we have really enjoyed it!
google avatar

Julie K.

Yelp
Best açaí bowls ever:) Me and my friend made our own bowls and ate it all up!! Perfect amount of sweet and tangy, fresh fruit and the crunchiest granola ever.

Kelsi I.

Yelp
Don't bother with the toast unless you've got money to spare! We paid over $12 for 2 pieces of toast. We could finish each toast in a few bites. It's tiny!! Good flavor but small portions. Friendly staff, and good environment, just seriously disappointed in the portion and figured the page needed accurate toast photos. Photos need to be updated to look TRUE.

Yelp
This is another great option for a delicious açaí bowl. I tried this place after getting over being sick and wanting something fresh in my system. I love that they add Nutella to some of their bowls. I will say the service can be a little better as the team said very minimal amounts to the customers inside but the bowl itself was great and a huge portion.
google avatar

JT F.

Yelp
Not bad. $13 was a bit high for me personally. First time trying açaí and it wasn't horrible. Strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, Nutella, and a couple other small things. Probably like 800 calories. Felt stuffed after but it wasn't a guilty kind of stuffed like going to McDonald's. Overall I think the place is solid but not really my cup of tea.
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
This is such a cute little place and I loved how they served the açaí bowl! The staff was very friendly. The bowl itself was tasty, however the açaí wasn't blended fresh, that's my only criticism. I'll definitely go back, the vibe/atmosphere is great. They even have a little free book swap area.
google avatar

Juliette L.

Yelp
Delicious açaí bowl! I decided to build my own bowl and did a spirulina base with a whole bunch of fruits and nuts on top. It was more than enough and very fresh. I also ordered a chai latte but unfortunately it wasn't ratioed well and tasted pretty bitter. Good place for food, not great for drinks
google avatar

Mia G.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped here for breakfast and loved how big the portions were! The bowl felt reasonably priced for how large it was and all the fruit was very fresh.
google avatar

Reese C.

Yelp
Best place for açaí bowls in Nashville! They have a large menu with smoothies, açaí bowls, and hot food. The staff is always nice, I ordered with Natalie! The menu is a bit pricey but I think it's worth it.

Yelp
Loved this spot it was such a cute place for a quick breakfast and great if you're looking for a good spot to work out of. I really enjoyed the bowl I got. They had so many options to choose from and you could even customize it if you wanted. The base was so smooth and the fruits were fresh making it a perfect mix. Cream cheese and avocados mash is my new favorite mix. Highly recommend trying it.
google avatar

Alexa S.

Yelp
Ordered these several times for teams I've worked with, always respectful, always on time, always delicious. Açaí bowl tasted freshly made and not frozen, which is huge, (I know some companies might try to make them the night before and put them in the freezer, but this was not the case, at least for the times I ordered them). Açaí bowl had a good ratio of açaí to granola and the peanut butter and Nutella was at the bottom which I think works way better than putting it on top of the bowl. Again, communication was great even when I had to switch some of the orders around. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I LOVE this place. Look how amazing my smoothie is sealed! Tastes amazing fresh and cold. I love the people here! I only order my smoothies from here and will continue to do so.
google avatar

Casey S.

Yelp
Bowls were fresh and beautiful with lots of options and parking is easy nearby. Loved visiting here and will be back next time I'm in the area!:)
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Awesome stuff. The açaí here is smoother and creamier than others I've had. It's got a really cool vibe. The other reviews talk about cost, but quality açaí is not an inexpensive choice.

Yelp
While their menu is great, the poor customer service left the worst taste in my mouth. My mother, & aunt and I were excited to try this establishment because we are from out of town. Our excitement quickly turned into a triggering experience as we watched those who ordered after us get their food quickly and with urgency. It is always eye-opening to see WHO gets served and the reaction when you speak up. The smirks and laughing never get old. Customer service isn't that difficult. Serve in order or communicate the process so people aren't left feeling offended and clueless. I am left grossly underwhelmed with this organization. It's 2024, do better.

Virginia P.

Yelp
it's really good but dont get the protein powder it will ruin your smoothie its gross the açaí bowls are sooo good though

Yelp
I've seen Grain and Berry on Uber Eats so I thought I'd give them a shot for breakfast. Through the Uber Eats app, I ordered the Egg & Avocado Toast and Healthy Elvis Smoothie. What was given to me was Avocado Bread with Scrambled Eggs... yuck. While this may not sound like a big deal, if I order "toast" I expect it to in fact be toasted. Why would anyone on planet Earth want breakfast BREAD not toasted?? Also, the fact that there wasn't an option to choose what egg you wanted seemed silly to me. I assume avocado toast comes with a fried egg (there was a photo on the app that showed a fried egg but it now shows scrambled eggs). A suggestion for management is to add egg preferences on their Uber Eats app - fried egg, over easy, sunny side up, poached, scrambled, etc. I was going to eat it anyways but after traveling the avocado had made the bread mushy and it was not edible (hence another reason you want TOAST). The "Healthy" Elvis tasted like a milkshake..... While I love a sweet smoothie, I want it to have a smoothie consistency and I wasn't a fan of their smoothie. I may give it another chance in person, but was super disappointed. Avocado toast is pretty simple to master and theirs was all wrong.
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Never have I thought about having cream cheese with avocado toast and I will forever be doing this to my avocado toasts at home. $7 isn't too bad of a price for avocado toast and the everything seasoning made it even better.
google avatar

Britt C.

Yelp
Super disappointed I just ordered via Uber eats. It doesn't look like they added spirulina which I paid extra for and I asked for granola on the side and didn't get it which is basically my favorite part. Phone number on the receipt is invalid so can't even call to let them know.
google avatar

Brandi G.

Yelp
Great little spot off the main road. We got the Grain and Berry bowl with the Açaí base to share and it was delicious. The base was flavorful and not just icy and flavorless. Lots of granola and fruit topping that were fresh.
google avatar

Naziya N.

Yelp
My friends and I ordered a few smoothies via DoorDash while spending the weekend in Nashville. I was very impressed by how fresh everything was and how well everything traveled to us. I am used to delivery from other smoothie places resulting in watered down smoothies, but everything was perfect for us! They seem to have locations in Florida and Tennessee, so I am hopeful that one day, one might pop up in Georgia!
google avatar

Safia S.

Yelp
I got an açaí bowl here. It was overpriced and very subpar. No flavor in the açaí, the toppings were also not fresh. Won't be going back.
google avatar

Amanda D.

Yelp
First time ordering from here via Postmates. My husband really liked his food, and I really enjoyed mine...until I found a hair in my meal about halfway through. Completely disgusted and turned off from trying here again. I don't like to write negative reviews...but I'm hoping that management will see this and implement some positive changes that result in more hygienic practices. I did finish the smoothie that I ordered (the Green Wisperer). I believe it was made with fresh ingredients, but the taste of ginger was overpowering.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and grabbed an acaí bowl. The bowl itself was great. It was very large and tasted amazing! The fruit is freshly cut in front of you, which is also nice. I really like how they make their nutritional information available on the website as well. My only issue was the order took awhile to come out. Granted, the place was crowded, but definitely not jam-packed like you would expect Hillsboro to be on a Sunday morning. I was in a rush and probably wouldn't have eaten here had I known there was going to be a 20+ minute wait. Still, the food was great and the price was reasonable considering the location, so I'm sure I'll be back! Happily, Clayton Cohn

Yelp
I hate writing reviews like this... but I am beyond disappointed with my order from Grain and berry. I bought over $60 worth of food and drinks and both my kids couldn't even finish there meals. All our avocado toast were terrible!!! The avocado had to be a spread (pre-made) and our eggs where over cooked and cold. They husband and I got poached eggs and this is what we got. The establishment was clean and staff was nice... but I do not recommend eating here.

Yelp
Another GREAT smoothie bowl shop which may be my new favorite in all of Nashville. The store front is very clean and has plenty of indoor seating. The lightening is perfect for foodie pictures and they have a cute mural which makes the perfect back drop. Their menu is extensive - they have everything from smoothie bowls and toasts to quesadillas and banana splits. I ordered the classic grain & berry bowl with an açaí base. I loved how it came in such a cute glass. The actual smoothie part is in a plastic bowl that can easily be removed from the glass. There are SO many toppings which is both good and bad. I love all the toppings but it felt like I was just eating toppings for a long while before I finally reached any of the smoothie part.

Yelp
We stopped at Grain & Berry yesterday for an early lunch. My son works there and he wanted to introduce us to his boss and let us see how good the food was! He was especially excited because I often have a difficult time finding food since I'm gluten free, vegetarian/pescatarian and have a citrus allergy. But the food was very complimentary to my dietary needs. The atmosphere was very cool and clean. They followed the Covid guidelines by having everyone wear their masks. The staff was also compliant by wearing gloves and masks. The food was delicious! I wish we had one in Greenville,SC!! You will definitely enjoy the food here!

Emma C.

Yelp
Amaazzzingg food!! All of their smoothie bowls are outstanding. I've also tried the avocado toast with scrambled eggs which was amazing. The staff are very nice and helpful. I strongly recommend this place!!
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Smoothies are delish. Variety of toast available! Service was quick. Slightly tucked away so you won't see it when you driving by.
google avatar

Yelp
When I had COVID I lost twenty pounds, thought I would die...bad case, anyhow this place saves my life! Sooooooo yummy!!!! Soooooooo healthy!!!!! I could feeel my body healing.
google avatar

Michelle E.

Yelp
Great juices!!!! Waited at counter for too long before anyone acknowledged I was there and in the exit station.
google avatar

Kendra C.

Yelp
Put in a catering order less than 24 hours before we needed it delivered and Grain and Berry still went above and beyond. Everything was so tasty and they were easy to work with and friendly. Would recommend when in town.
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
Their food is EVERYTHING. I usually get the spiraling bowl, and it is *chefs kiss* I do warn you, they are huge!! Soooo bang for your buck. Their quesadillas you may ask ? Mannnn they never disappoint. I get the avo got the crunch and it's been my go to ever since. If you're ever in the mood for a light lunch/ dinner. Stop by, you won't regret it.

Yelp
This is an open letter to the people of G & B (Grain and Berry) Love is a hard thing to come by in the world. That's true. One thing that isn't hard to come by at grain and berry? Grains. Many, many grains. An absolutely exorbitant amount of grains. One could say, too many grains. If there was as much love in the world as their is granola in a grain and berry bowl there would be peace in Israel. I love grain as much as the next horse, but please, for the love of god, put less grain and more like cool things like the other stuff that the menu says are in the thing. Also, pizza is like a flat concept. The same reason why when I hand someone a glass of water I don't pour it out on them, when I hand someone a pizza slice I don't drop it onto their faces. For some reason, the generous artisans of grain and berry thought I should have my pizza be put sideways, creating this wonderful gulag of sauce and bread that would be a great menu item in its own right, but perhaps not marketed as a "flat" bread. With love and blessings, Jamieson
google avatar

Tatum E.

Yelp
Healthy and tasty! The place was empty...great little spot to get work done and relax.

Lo J.

Yelp
Let's see... $16.43 for an açaí bowl. $16.43 for any of the quesadillas. No thanks.
google avatar

Yelp
New place on the West End side of downtown. Delicious and fresh! We tried the Mango Passion and Detox juice. Both were very fresh and plentiful. It was early so it wasn't busy. It was fully staffed and everyone was friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back.
google avatar

Maric S.

Yelp
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. If you get a superfood bowl you have to pick a base: Açaí, Pitaya, Spirulina, or Yogurt. Topping combos are listed on their menu. Pretty presentation, but the bowls made it hard to not spill. This place is also on the expensive side. Definitely not my #1 açaí place in town.

Kelly A.

Yelp
Other than being fast the smoothies were absolutely garbage. Huge chunks of ice and fruit in both mine and my boyfriends smoothies. I ordered from this restaurant because they had a 4.6 star review and were local. Should have just ordered from the chain jamba because at least I would know what I'm getting. Not to mention there smoothies are $11.47 instead of $9.09. Paid extra and got worse. I got the strawberry smoothie and it just taste like watered down ice chunks with a little bit of strawberry. Defiantly don't recommend.

Shevin T.

Yelp
The best smoothie bowl textures! Super thick and doesn't melt as fast as your normal acai bowl. They also add a bunch of toppings but sometimes it is a little too much and i have to move it to the side to get to the main part. Still one of my favorite smoothie bowl spots in Nashville!
google avatar

Sean C.

Yelp
Had a delicious smoothie at Grain and Berry (the Health Nut) - I will be back to try the açaí bowls and other things on the menu. The location is a bit hard to see, on the side of the Moxy hotel--but worth finding!
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
Excellent fruit bowls Dragon fruit was great so was the Açaí It's all fresh stuff and high quality Recommend getting peanut butter & honey along with strawberry blueberry kiwi pineapple and banana I'm not a mango fan but they have quality mango Haven't tried the Apple or kale Smoothies are also good
