My daughter lives in Kansas City and I always have her choose a restaurant that she's heard of and wants to go to that she hasn't tried yet. We were so impressed by this place. We will definitely go again! The menu had so many things that I wanted to try. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was great and our server was very friendly and helpful. Great location on the corner of the Plaza. Sounds like they have a great breakfast and lunch menu as well. Highly recommend!

Gram and Dun what has happened to you? What used to be a hot spot on the Plaza is now average. Greeted by hostess wearing a skin tight white top with no bra. Bringing all the boys to the yard I guess. The restaurant is in a great location but not what it used to be. We had brunch and I understand we aren’t at Cracker Barrel but 24 dollars for a half filled breakfast skillet? The food was meh. The drink Dirty Thai was 13 dollars tasty but overpriced. My waffle was mushy in the middle. I typically do not get waffles in eateries maybe that’s how they are supposed to be? Country Club Plaza restaurants can do better. Four stars for our server.

Visited for a dinner date. Ordered the calamari and shrimp & grits. Both were delicious and also tried their cheesecake. Atmosphere is romantic. Loved that they included flowers and candles on the table. Friendly staff. Can’t wait to dine again.

An absolute gem in KC! Cozy, intimate, and elevated. The hubby and I love to go here for a cocktail every so often because we love the vibe and enjoy exploring the plaza. It's normally pretty easy to just walk in and be able to sit at the bar. Plus, if you're a little hungry, you can order an appetizer to go with your beverages.
I personally really enjoy the Fly Me To The Moon cocktail while my hubby likes to mix it up.
A unique place for sure! Definitely try it out if you haven't already.

Staff was very friendly and the interior was elegant and beautiful. However, most of the dishes, in the opinion of my guest and I, averaged about a 6/10. The best dish out of the seven we had was the Ribeye and potatoes (8-9/10), very good. The others were either lacking in flavor or had some weird combination of flavors.

The food overall is pretty decent, but the service of this establishment really needs to be improved. It’s my first time dining at this restaurant to try out the 2024 KC Restaurant Week menu. The selection is very decent and the portion is very generous; however our server rarely checked on us and wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu items. What surprised me the most was that our server was chewing gum the entire time and no one stopped her… I am so shocked that this kind of behavior is allowed in such a fine dining environment. Again, kudos to the back of the house, but the sanitary and staff training are simply not on par with other restaurants on the plaza.

Matthew, my server, provided superb recommendations that met the mark. Despite being full, the dessert menu tempted and did not disappoint. The Gram & Dun bar is decadent sex on a plate. If I lived here, this would be a weekly visit. Hands down one of my top 10 brunch experiences. Cocktails were DIVINE. Get the “D” Cup!

Gram & Dum was one of those places that I used to feel was extremely consistently great. At least for brunch, that is not the case. Let's start with the cardinal sin: the maple syrup is not maple syrup. It's Smucker's or some other corn syrup-based syrup. The waffles - which are very good - were made worse because I poured the syrup on without tasting first. Yes, the menu says "maple syrup". Beyond that, the batter on the chicken was soggy, and it just didn't pair well with the waffle.
The "beignets" are not beignets. The outside was too crispy and the inside was too mushy. The apple butter was good, but couldn't save the dish.
The French Toast and the Planks were very good. No issues there.
