If you love music, the GRAMMY Museum in downtown Los Angeles is a must-see. Spanning four floors, it takes about an hour and a half to explore and offers a deep dive into music history. One of the coolest features is the interactive sound booth, where you can sing along, and another exhibit lets you experience how music technology has evolved over the years based on the song you choose. The museum is constantly updating its exhibits, with current highlights like How to Win a GRAMMY and a showcase on Luther Vandross. Located at L.A. LIVE, it’s easy to get to and offers a fun, immersive experience. While the exhibits are incredible, what really makes this place special is how interactive it is—it’s not just about looking at memorabilia, but truly engaging with music in a hands-on way. Our family had such a fun time here, and if you’re in LA, I’d highly recommend adding it to your list! Whether you’re a casual listener or a music aficionado, it’s a great way to experience the art and history behind some of the world’s most iconic sounds.

So the museum is pretty cool. Lots of fun interactive displays. A theater area to watch best performances. It was curated in a great way. Staff not so great.l impression. They appeared dismissive and not overly helpful. They checked tickets but really besides that.. no explanation or instructions on how to go through the museum. I liked the different floors and exhibits, and everything is pretty self-explanatory ( lol... good thing cause staff are not going to help)🎵

We came on a field trip with a group of 36 kids they were done seeing every thing after 30 minutes. They fully enjoyed the experience as there are a lot of interactive exhibits and it was culturally relevant. This is a Great experience for adults. An ok experience for kids

Google
You should try the Immersive room to experience historical sound innovations. American hip-hop exibition was awesome. I would like visit pop culture museum in Seattle once again to learn and see more.

Google
Came here as a chaperone for a RUSD middle school band class. We did a workshop that lasted about 1 hour. There are 3 different floors to explore aside from the first floor (which is were you enter and you can shop). It was a class of 130 kids! There are enough of interactive kiosks that can entertain and educate while there. There was a small section dedicated to Latin Garmmy's. Absolutely recommend!

Google
Super cool place. Have to say the best floor/exhibit was the Hip-hop America Exhibit. You can tell whomever put this exhibit together did it with passion in their heart and a lot of soul. I mean as soon as you get off the elevator it is like BAM💥 AMAZING! I spent the most time on that floor. All of the different booths and TV screens and the music. Did I mention the music?!?!? Well done🖤🎤🎧🎛️🎙️📺🎼🎵🎶

Google
Nice place to be if you are a music lover, even other wise their interactive museum is really good. During our visit they were renovating one floor , so got to visit their hip hop floor which was really good. The dj consoles with interactive hands on is worth.

Google
I had the time of my life. This is both educational and entertaining. I took my time and wanted to see everything, I was there for 2 hours and didn't have time to see the full 4th floor. If I have time again during my trip, I will go again. The terrace is okay, what's really nice is to see the ads muralists do their job on the other side of the street. The boutique is fun too! The expositions are complete. Every of your favorite artists will be honored in one way or another. I didn't see a mention of Miley Cyrus, but lots of Beyonce which we love. The Micheal Jackson thriller documentary was worth all the money in the world.

Yelp
Great experience! Went here during our L.A day with the family after eating at the restaurant next door. Totally pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
I expected a lot more exhibits featuring popular musicians from the last half-century. I liked the Luther Vandross exhibit and thought there would be more like it for other artists. The space could be better used to feature outfits, set designs, and music for popular artists. Some of the other exhibits took up a large amount of space but featured very little. Also, I went to the museum for a private evening event and the hors d'oeuvres were disappointing. There was a long line to get to a tiny table with gluten free crackers, hard garlic or pumpernickel bagel chips, marmalade, and a few other toppings that were not particularly appetizing.

Yelp
First time coming to the Grammy Museum. There are different discounts (student, senior, military). However, they didn't check our IDs at the entrance. There are a few floors including a gift shop at the entrance. When we visited, there was a Latin Grammy section. There are videos, interactive stations, and clothing and musical accessories that were worn by famous musicians on display. Overall, it was interesting to visit at least once.

Brandon A.

Yelp
Maybe it's just my millennial perspective, but I found the Grammy Museum to be somewhat underwhelming. While there are well-curated spaces geared more towards an older audience--aside from the KPop/BTS exhibit--most of the displays consist of photos and a few interactive features, some of which didn't seem to work properly. The highlight for me was seeing Michael Jackson's clothing collection, which was pretty cool (check out the attached pictures!). Upon entering, you're directed to pay and pass through a gift shop before exploring a few floors of music history displays. I appreciated the Hispanic designer clothing exhibit, which was nicely done. On the top floor, there's a snack bar and a seating area offering a nice view of Figueroa Street. Overall, I didn't find it particularly exciting. It wasn't bad, just not my cup of tea. On the plus side, I got in for free thanks to my hotel key.

Yelp
Don't park at L.A. Live, it's not worth it. If you can find outside parking for cheaper and just walk that's ideal. I came here for a movie screening at 7 pm on a Tuesday and when I got back to my car by 11 pm it cost me $40! Find one of those parking lots that charge up front and around $10 for the whole night. I did a brief walk through and it was alright. It smelled stale in there and I feel like it needs a proper space with more items. We watched a film in the Clive Davis theater and it was like watching home movies a rich friend's house. The sound sucked in there and we were literally watching concert footage, but I didn't get the surround sound effect and the volume was really low in my opinion. We ended up leaving early to see Tuxedo perform up the street. I'd expect a better sound system for the theater and we paid $30 a ticket and $40 for parking to see a concert film in sub par sound settings.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! I attended a private event for our group that bought out the venue for the evening. We entered into a red carpet for photos prior to entry. Food stations and the bar were already upon as we entered as well. The food was delicious and bar service relatively quick considering how many were in attendance. Each floor with the museum has some for every music lover in any genre. Along with interactive features like making your own DJ mix. Also amazing memorabilia. My favorite floor was the Hip Hop floor. Take your time and visit every single floor. Even if you don't think it's your type of music.

Yelp
Finally visited the GRAMMY Museum! This has been on my bucket list for awhile. Adult tickets are $20 with fees (you can buy in-advance online). For parking, I recommend using SpotHero and buying parking in-advance for a garage in Downtown. I paid $8 for all-day weekend parking at a garage a few blocks away. Way cheaper (and less stressful) than paying for parking at one of the LA Live official lots. It took me about two-hours to go through the museum (I was taking my time too). It is relatively small, but a lot to see. There are four-floors. The first floor is the gift shop and floors 2-4 are the exhibits. The Michael Jackson display was pretty neat. I was also able to watch their 20-min special documentary about the making of the Thriller video (I believe this is a museum exclusive). The Shakira exhibit was very well done and quite immersive. The "red carpet" outfit section is not really an exhibit (more of a display FYI). The main event for me was the Hip-Hop America exhibit which is located in the entire fourth floor. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, it is such a unique exhibit with many one-of-a-kind hip-hop artifacts and interactive elements. Highly recommend before it goes away in Sep 2024! Overall if you are a music lover you will enjoy this museum. Two to 2.5 hours is probably the MOST you need here given its size. Walk across the street to Crypto.com Arena to see the new Kobe statue.

Kay R.

Yelp
The Grammy Museum was a nice stop during our visit. The displays are well done, and it was cool to see the history of artists and music. We particularly loved the Michael Jackson and Luther Vandross displays. That being said, our visit felt quick. I don't know exactly what we were expecting, but we left saying, "Is that all there is?"

Yelp
It's gonna be MAY... And I'm going back to my first time at the Grammy Museum for Museum Day back in Fall of 2019 to more recent Present Day learning about the LAPL (Los Angeles Public Library) complimentary entry (use special code online) and other great ways to enjoy the perks of music history at the G.M. L.A. "I wanna rock with you (all night)..." The magic of MJ on the 2nd floor is still as good as it gets... SO much history, personal items and recordings... Every piece of the Grammyseum will have you feeling like you're in the moment with artists of past, present and future. Check their amazing website for details of highlighted artist and exhibits. Currently all about Shakira, Shakira: The Grammy Museum Experience following the life and music of the amazing Columbian latinx pop queentress herself. KQ ENT. (ATEEZ & xikers): A GRAMMY Museum Pop-Up is also in effect, devoted entirely to K-Pop! They have elevators and for their many floors and leave you to explore. You can contact them ahead to schedule a guided tour or plan a group experience as well as one with a private screening of how to produce a track (demonstrations offered as well). Fun Fact: You can enjoy a virtual experience/tour of the legendary The Power of Women in Country Music floor. See and learn some amazing herstory about Dolly (Parton), Faith Hill, Shania, Reba and more. Jump to the This Nat King Cole, Motown in America, Y Para Siempre (And forever) Marco Antonio Solis or even the David Matthews Band exhibit. It's pretty fun and just as informative, though nothing beats an in-person visit of endless wonders if you're up to it ;)

Cynthia C.

Yelp
My daughter came here on a school trip it looks so fun ! She said she had a lot of fun and really likes the top floor to each her lunch the elevator was fun . The music headphones were fun .

Julie S.

Yelp
Enjoyed Grammy Museum with Special HYBE K-pop exhibit and evening Global Spin program. I recently became a member to the museum and was impressed with the exhibits and program. The K-POP exhibit was a lot of fun with all the wardrobes from the popular K-pop groups. After I visited the museum, I stood in line with all the other fans waiting to see IM that evening. The list of programs that the Grammy Museum hosts is stellar and the auditorium is intimate with 200 seats. I look forward for my next visit to the museum!

Joi R.

Yelp
If you've never been to the Grammy Museum it's worth a visit. They provide an engaging and interactive experience with lots of information about some of the most famous music icons. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my field trip experience was so unacceptable. I brought my middle school students here a few years ago for a Black History Month program the museum has every year. We were expecting to learn about music during the Civil Rights era. But once the program started I immediately realized something was seriously off. Surely, the guy in charge did not schedule us for the wrong program. Well, he did. The program was Music Production 101! I quietly went over to the guy and reminded him that we were there for the Civil Rights program. He casually acknowledged the issue by saying, "I made a mistake". The only compensation for this huge error was an email link to the actual program. Unacceptable. A refund would have been appropriate. The following year, I wanted to try again. I spoke to the same guy and asked if we could return to see the Civil Rights program for free given the mistake he made the previous year. His response was, "We can't just give you a free visit. But we can offer you a discount." ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I tried calling a few times to speak to a manager and was told they "don't really have a manager". As a teacher, I took my students on lots of field trips. As a principal, I still make sure my students are exposed to lots of meaningful field trips, but I would never arrange a trip with the Grammy Museum ever again. The mistake was bad enough, but refusing to offer an appropriate compensation was painfully wrong. It felt cruel. I recommend the Grammy Museum for family and tourist visits, but not for field trips.

Yelp
I went to several museums in LA but this museum's $18 admission fee seemed expensive after all. It was nice to see Michael Jackson's special exhibition. However some mechanical devices were broken down and totally useless. In the gift shop, I saw Prince's Purple Rain album jacket T-shirt for $35 which was sold for $14 in Target.

Renee D.

Yelp
Was on my to do list from the beginning and just a short walk from my hotel. My LA friend met me there and we had a blast. First of all they had a HIP HOP Exhibit on the fourth floor to celebrate the 50 years. Now I had just seen one in DC at the Museum of African American Culture but this one was so much more immersive and interactive. The entrance with the wall to wall screen playing iconic performances, hand written rap lyrics by Tupac, Saweeties nails. There was a map of hip hop were you could touch a city and it would open up all their history. Loved that. The whole thing ended with the HIP HOP Royalty room complete with a throne made out of boom boxes. Dope AF!!! There is also a beautiful exhibit for Shakira complete with her costumes, instruments, a bio playing under a spacious cabana. Other notables for sure were Michael Jackson's jackets, boots and gloves, a room featuring the history of sound from the wax cylinder to immersive featuring artist performances by the likes of Ricky Martin, Bad Bunny, Cardi B and Bruno Mars demonstrating the sound changes which was crazy. So much to get into there. Last the gift shop is also a must see. I don't usually say that but I bet you'd leave with something. My friend took home a mini Slick Rick doll from the Adventures of Slick Rick album and I bought a book called Understand Rap. Educational and hilarious.

Nikki J.

Yelp
I've been here once before but glad I came back! The exhibits change so there's always something new to explore. I love all the interaction this museum has, you can listen to music, make you own, mix existing music. The 2 current exhibits I really enjoyed was the 50 years of hip hop & Shakira. So much history and information. If you love music, and museums, Olán to spend a few hours here.

Jamie L.

Yelp
The Grammy Museum was interesting and fun little activity to kill some time. I came pretty early on a weekday and it was not busy at all. There are multiple floors to go through including a k pop one that is an additional charge. My favorite part of the experience was the hip hop floor because they had a lot of interactive things to do like rapping along and mixing songs. The only thing was the equipment wasn't working all that well so I couldn't really get the full experience. But it was still fun to mess around with. Lots of clothing and costumes that celebrities wore. Pretty cool to see. There was a Photoism Photo Booth I was excited about but it was like 16$ !!! Ridiculous. I was not about to pay that. The other floors were ok. Overall this museum isn't anything special. They have a small gift shop too at the end.

Michael B.

Yelp
Terrible museum do not waste your time or money. Are you kidding me you can walk thru this awful museum in 20 minutes not even seeing anything memorable. If you like hip hop and rap it's one whole floor the other floors is photos on the wall. It's so embarrassing to be in so called Hollywood where the music is largely made and see this place. I can not believe it's still in business we got in free thank goodness because I wouldn't pay $5 to walk in this museum. The exhibits which are few were awful as well. I'd say stay away. We were at the Country Music Museum in Nashville now that's a music museum a tribute to the music this one in LA is a joke. I'm being real. Bad part of town watch where you park step around homeless and poo.

Charles F.

Yelp
Need to pay for parking here (part of LA Live parking garage and next to the NBA arena). The museum is about 4 floors, goes over all sorts of music like hip hop, rock n roll, kpop, and more. Not too bad, got this as part of a travel package for LA. A decent relaxing group idea or a laidback date idea.

Tamika B.

Yelp
Hmmm, took myself on a solo date and explored the Grammy Museum for the first time. It was okay. My favorite part of the Grammy Museum was seeing some of Michael Jackson memorabilia! Like, wow, Michael Jackson was wearing these clothes during unforgettable performances! His section is awesome to see! GOAT!

Jason V.

Yelp
The museum is part of L.A. Live district in downtown L.A. For any popular music lover, this is your place. It's four different levels, the top three having changing exhibits. Speaking of which, they don't seem to have a permanent part in their museum, which I guess makes it unique. But I learned a lot and saw cool memorabilia, either way! The top floor was about the 50th anniversary of hip-hop/rap music and its impact on music. Third floor was mostly about Shakira, of all people. I didn't know she was a key figure in charities. Also, some outfits that were worn at this year's Grammys were on display like Taylor Swift's and Lizzo's dresses. The second floor was about the history of Sunset Strip and how rock music and the Los Angeles scene went hand in hand. Finally, the gift shop at the bottom floor. Wasn't blown away by any of the merchandise as they didn't sell hardly anything with the Grammy logo on it. But at least that kept me from spending so much $$ on souvenirs! haha Would recommend this museum.

Alexis R.

Yelp
First timer here! Came for the HYBE exhibit to see my favorite Kpop groups. It was so cool walking through the floor, seeing the outfits worn by BTS, Seventeen, etc. I loved the different activities they had provided such as the post-it wall, the random dance play room, and the karaoke room. I also liked the different TVs that you can interact with and listen to a variety of artists and producers and their process on creating music and songwriting. It was just all so interesting and enlightening and I enjoyed it very much!

Eva G.

Yelp
Spent the day with two active kids under the age of 4. We made it through the entrance and gift shop, ( great accomplishment) then it was time to head up. We were all over the place at the museum. Still great things to see and appreciate. Next time I'm in town I'm going sans little kiddos.

Mike N.

Yelp
Los Angeles, Ca. We became members because the displays are always changing but primarily because you get front row seats for the shows. You must come here if any of your favorite artists are in the billing. We attended a talk about Grahm Parsons featuring Polly Parsons and David Prinz ((From Amoeba Records). Sierra Ferrel was the guest artist. What a lovely and intimate gathering. We were up close and personal to Sierra as she wove her magic. There are no bad seats in the house and there are clear lines of sight with no obstructions, not even from the guy with the hat in front of you. The sound system is top of the line, clear and warm. Oh yeah, even though we came for Sierra, the talk was informative and entertaining, I enjoyed it. The displays occupy three floors and are nicely presented. On this evening, none of the artists we would normally listen to was represented but I was able to appreciate genres I would not normally give an ear too.

Junie R.

Yelp
It is so hidden I've walked by it a few times. The day we went it happened to be free entry. I really enjoyed it. It's very interactive.saw lots of family's enjoying the museum.

Joni P.

Yelp
Terrible rip off! Starts with parking that says $10, but card reader insists on $20. Museum website says $15, but museum wants $27! We paid $7.59 to see one floor of this crappy museum. Don't bother!!!

Francis V.

Yelp
I've wanted to visit the Grammy Museum for a long time. I finally made it on a Saturday morning. The tickets are reasonable price but the venue is not that large in my opinion. It is 4 stories with a rooftop deck where you can overlook the streets of DTLA, enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. The first floor is the ticket booth and a gift shop. I loved the Shakira exhibit and the Clive Davis theater that showed clips of the greatest Grammy performances, even though I didn't sit down to enjoy the show, I stood by the door because I wasn't about to sit in there by myself with my back to the door (IYKYK). There's parking in the parking structure of course but I lucked up on street parking for $3 an hour, I paid for 3 hours which I didn't need that much time because it only took me about an hour to get through the entire museum.

Nicole S.

Yelp
I had an event here at the Grammy Museum for USC Alumni and it was so fun. I've never been before but the staff were pretty friendly and the views from the rooftop were stunning! The food they served was from Wolfgang Puck and everything was pretty much top notch. When inside the museum, each floor has different legendary artists. The 3rd floor is where I was mostly because I really wanted to read through it and see it all. They had Grammy trophies, background on the artists and their Grammy wins or performances, the clothes certain artists wore and more! I really liked the Big Tigget rap along section, it was hilarious. Even pretending to be a dj with three turntables was cool. There's some great photo ops throughout the museum. On the 2nd floor they had Michael Jackson memorabilia, but they were closing and wouldn't let us get out of the elevator to look which was disappointing. All in all I really enjoyed myself, I highly recommend if you love music, Hollywood, and the Grammys. Check this place out.

Alonzo C.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Had an opportunity to walk in and see ALOT of history. Staff was great and knowledgeable of events and history . They also have a hidden gem on the 5th floor I believe... it's a must see with an awesome view and cafe. Sorry no photos just going to have to take my word

Don B.

Yelp
Three floors of exhibits, some of them rotating. There was a new Shakira exhibit during my visit and included interactive content. The hip hop was my favorite. Covered the full gambit of the history. This place is located in DTLA in the LA Live district. The area was not busy when we visited on a Saturday morning. We had two tickets to the museum included with our hotel stay nearby.

Jo S.

Yelp
I never got around visiting the Grammy Museum till this Thanksgiving weekend. Some of their exhibits seemed really interesting and I decided it's time to check it out. The museum is close to Staples Center, Microsoft Theater, LA Live area, within a few minutes walk from 7th Metro stop. I got the tickets online, we checked in upon entrance, staff was nice and guided us through. The museum is located on a few floors and took the elevator up to the 4th floor to start our tour. This is a big floor with a lot on display: their regular collection with the evolution of the Grammy awards on display, an area dedicated to Michael Jackson with memorabilia on display, pretty cool. A bit ot music history in USA, various exhibits, from folk music to jazz, classical to Whitney Houston, Jimmy Hendrix and Nirvana. On display a few cool exhibits on this floor as well: Peggy Lee (well curated, I learnt a lot of new things, could have enjoyed even more of it, she's fascinating), a photo exhibit about Rolling Stones touring at the Forum and about Bob Marley's legacy, kinda small. On the 3rd floor they have it dedicated to the Latin American Grammy's, this isn't my expertise, I looked around but haven't heard of these singers. I thought this floor was rich with many things on display. If you know more about it, you will enjoy it. On the 2nd floor we enjoy a Bruce Springsteen Live exhibit, lots of memorabilia and posters, props on view. On the ground floor they have a cute shop, restrooms, clean on the 2nd and 4th levels. Some exhibits are interractive (they have a cleaning lady around for sanitizing). I think the place was interesting, but I would have liked a bigger permanent collection. Also the place is very busy sound wise with many tracks going in the same time, it is very hard to concentrate to read information. I didn't like this at all, it was distracting. Closed on Tuesdays. Daily, 11-5, Sat 10 am to 6 pm. $18 admission, Seniors $15, $12 for students and kids 5 and up. You could spend 2 hours here. Is it my favorite museum? No. I am glad I checked it out but it is a bit too much and not enough in the same time for me.

Kalina F.

Yelp
Oh my gosh literally one of the best places ever!! I love seeing all the Grammys and outfits worn by artists!

Susan C.

Yelp
What an understated museum! I had no idea how interesting and how well it presented history of hip hop and rap! Plus you have access to Grammy since 1959! See history of music was grounding! Plus who can not get emotional at MC Hammer's Can't Touch This !! Plan a weekend day to explore this treasure!

Ron W.

Yelp
I am a member of the Grammy Museum and have attended over 200 events here, both inside and outside at their rooftop terrace. It is one of THE best venues to see an artist, as the capacity is only 200 and the acoustics are CD quality . They consistently book a variety of different artists from different genres so there is something for everybody ! Hope to see you there at an event !!

Kami T.

Yelp
This museum is small and the exhibits are located on 3 floors (bottom floor is a gift shop). The displays are limited, but there are some interactive exhibits. One of the employees mentioned that the exhibits change from time to time. I enjoyed the 3rd floor area where they were showcasing some of the best performances from past Grammy shows. It had a little seating area so you could stop and watch. I'm not sure I would recommend visiting multiple times, but I enjoyed the free visit for Museum Day.

Audrey B.

Yelp
so disappointed. irrelevant artists and only had two limited floors open out of the 5. All the artists i wanted to see were closed off. Was in and out in 10 minutes 15 if you're pushing it. Maybe inform us of the renovation before we go and spend $20 on a ticket.

Joanne J.

Yelp
Museum takes about an hour to go through. I was expecting a lot of music...there was music but more history of the Grammys, of course. Favorite part of the museum for me was at the very beginning, getting off the elevator on 4th floor. You will love it too! Great Springsteen exhibit.

Tong E.

Yelp
It's a relaxing two hours of browsing thru the exhibits, top off with a cup of latte on the rooftop Cafe. Its pretty much what you expected from mid level music museum. More for adults than kids, most intrractive displays are more suited for the older fans. Enjoy .

Cherie M.

Yelp
I got the opportunity to experience the Grammy Museum in unique way. I was attending an event that was being hosted here. As someone who has hosted a lot of events, I was impressed by the flow of the space and how everyone got the chance to fully experience the history in the museum. I loved all of the pieces there and the immersive spaces. Listening to the music from a record player vs an MP3 player. I want to come back to the museum during normal business hours. It's such a cool place!

Yula K.

Yelp
Loved this museum and cannot wait to go back in a bit when they have fresh, new items in their exhibits. You can tell that they cycle through things in their collection often -- so many recently worn gowns, accessories, and Grammy statues. Many exhibits are interactive and give you something fun to do while you learn about your favorite musicians. It is not a particularly big museum, but it is dense. Can probably get through everything in about 2 hours, depending how many of the videos you sit through fully. Some of it has pretty basic information, but it is great for younger people who may not know much about music history or the importance of its impact. My favorite room was full of FASHION!! I loved getting to see so many icon's red carpet gowns up close and personal. Incredible that they have a collection so large and full of historic fashion moments. Multiple Taylor Swift and Megan Thee Stallion outfits and accessories. I am obsessed.

M R.

Yelp
One photo of Beyonce on the way to the bathroom. I mean, she won the most grammys. Also, floors 3 and 4 are special admission so general admission gets you entrance to 2nd floor which has... photos. Photos I can see on the Internet. Worst museum. I do not recommend.

Steve P.

Yelp
Cute little museum. Excited to had a chance to visit here. It's a museum you can visit on multiple occasions because they change the artists and display often.

Antoinette M.

Yelp
It's to hyped up. Everyone on YouTube and Social media would talk about the grammy museum as if it's some really cool place to go see but that wasn't even the case. $15 was a complete waste of money to go see absolutely nothing. I literally walked it in less than twenty minutes. Two of the floors were closed due to construction and when my sisters wanted to take a peek at the kpop section one of the rent a cops there tried to scold my sisters for taking a picture from a very far distance. Total waste of money and on another note there is nothing there in honor of the one and only 6 time grammy winner Mariah Carey. We were very disappointed.

Yelp
I enjoy this museum so very much and am a former member. I recently saw the amazing Hip-Hop America: The Mixtape exhibit, THANK YOU for the memories and great detail and the special menu at the cafe is also the coolest. My only complaint: WHO decided it was okay to add processing and service fees to the Program Series tickets ???? I have been attending these events for years and there was NEVER fees involved, just the ticket price. I am venting, the series is super special but those fees are straight up robbery !!!!! amazing how many businesses are pimping the public to make up for COVID losses.

Yelp
Had a chance to check out the Grammy Museum during the Nat King Cole Exhibit. I enjoyed learning the story of his life and his music, specifically his roots in Chicago. Also on exhibit was The Jackson 5, centering on the rise and success of the group. Seeing the actual instruments, clothing and jewelry of some of the greatest artist was memorable. One of my favorite attractions there is a chronological visual montage of stand out moments during the Grammy Awards. The tickets were priced around $20 for adults. Underground parking lot is available at LA Live and several outdoor lots are nearby as well. Learned a lot and had a great time.

Yelp
Visited this spot during the weekday. It wasn't too busy. We primarily went to see the Shakira exhibit, but seeing the rest of the memorabilia was pretty cool. Learned a lot about different artists that I didn't know before. I had to take off a star because some of the areas "machines", or whatever you would call them, didn't work properly. It's not a large museum, but it's a cool place to check out once. We spent just under two hours in it.

Yelp
This museum is great. I could have stayed longer than the 3 hours we stayed. Very accessible. Great exhibits. The staff was really nice. They had a wheelchair available to borrow to use during the visit. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
If you love music, this is the museum for you! It's a small self guided 3 story museum where you start from the top and work your way down. It took my family and I no more than 90 minutes to walk through the exhibits and participate in the interactive activities. Definitely would suggest you go with children ages 9 and up who have an appreciation for music. We happened to be there during the Shakira exhibit and it was amazing to see all the wonderful work besides being a music artist that she had contributed. Will definitely recommend and come back again as a family!

Yelp
Interesting place! I've been to several events at the Grammy Museum and it is a unique place. It's very well done. The exhibits change, but are all awesome! Great museum showcasing the history of the GRAMMY Award, the Recording Academy, and American music. There are four floors with floor one being the store. Fascinating musical history everywhere you look. Lots to see and do, you will learn something that you didn't know about different artists. Very engaging experience with lots of interactive elements. This museum takes interaction to another level. If you're a creative, you can record a track in one of the sound booths. You can also view mini movies about certain music genres. You get to experience Grammy videos and performances, hand written music, unique Grammy winners objects and photos. You see many red-carpet outfits, and a nice collection of costumes and artifacts. The staff are really hands-on and have tremendous knowledge about what the museum has to offer to maximize your experience. A must see in Downtown L.A. Great way to spend 2-3 hours easily. A must-see place for music lovers!! Tip: Start the tour at the top and work down.

Yelp
It's my first time to take a field trip at Grammy Museum with my second period class. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I'll come back again, and I like it
