Gramps Garage

This is a GREAT new spot in East Nashville and a great "dive bar" in the whole of Nashville. The decor takes you back to a 1970's garage. If you visit Nashville be sure to check out the vibe of this place. The even have a gin called Engine that meets the decor. Neal is the bartender on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; he's tremendous and helpful. I can't enough good about Gramps. It's WAY COOLER than Dino's and not the pretentious hipster vibe. I loved it. Menu is limited and didn't eat. Check out the pics!

I didn’t know what to expect of this place but we love it! Probably the coolest design of a bar top I’ve ever seen. Vibes are great, casual and easygoing. Fun selection of cans and taps. Super friendly staff. Will be back on the regular.

I live nearby in the neighborhood a few blocks from Gramps and they had an outdoor music performance using amplified speakers that could be heard blocks away past 11pm on a Sunday night. Guys this isn’t Broadway and some of us have to work Monday mornings. Please be a respectful neighbor and obey the city noise ordinances.

Went for Twisted Tuesday (all non-alcoholic drinks) in partnership with Killjoy. Their NA drink selection rotates every month and they have elevated NA cocktail options that are delicious. Great vibe and bartenders where amazing!

Gramps Garage is a fantastic new addition to the local bar scene! The theme, inspired by your grandpa's garage, is executed perfectly. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making you feel instantly at home. The owner's creativity shines through in every detail, and it's clear they poured their heart and soul into this place. I especially appreciate the wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages. It's great to see a bar that caters to those who don't drink alcohol, and it makes Gramps Garage an inclusive spot for everyone. I highly recommend checking out Gramps Garage. You won't be disappointed!

A new dive bar from the guys who also gave us "Daddy's Dogs". Featuring a very dive-y decor in a cozy space, with a small patio. Also, a perfectly level epoxy bar (which, as I have heard, is very difficult to achieve). Swing by for a beverage on tap or from a can. Experience the antithesis of the "instagram friendly" places there's a million of in this town.

This bar is a vibe!!!!! It is just so needed and refreshing to see something like this place come to Nashville. If broadway ain’t your thangggg, and you want a chill local go to bar please come check this one out!!!

An instant East Nashville gem. The vibe is super cozy and social. I’ve hung out in many a garage and this is by far the best.

I've come here a few times, only on Twisted Tuesday which is a non-alcoholic night sponsored by KillJoy bottle shop. It's such a great vibe. Feels like hanging out in your dad it grandpa's garage. Kind of wish they had old men bartending to dole out the type of advice they'd give! Haha! They also have a collection of board games, plenty of seating, and a patio. Something for everyone looking for a chill hang in east. Twisted tuesdays are especially fun. If you're sober, sober-curious, can't drink, or just want to experience a different vibe. Everyone was really kind and welcoming.

Such a cool spot to grab a drink and hang out. The decor is so cool and really feels like you walked into your grandpa's garage full of family photos and old items he can't get rid of. I had the pleasure of trying this place out for silent book club and I really liked the vibe. I thought their patio was really well done and the colors of everything pop! This is a great spot to check out in east Nashville! They do have some food options on the menu as well.

Gramps Garage is quite literally the perfect way to describe this bar. Its super chill, oil can fence, and have indoor / outdoor seating. We went not even knowing there would be live music. They were super good. Service was great. Dude was super nice and accommodating to our larger group.
