Google
5 stars for this wonderful ride at Epcot 3 Caballeros in Mexico area at Epcot, is a fun, calm water boat ride that transports you to another place, walking in from the sunny and hot day to a soothing evening with the view of Chi Chen itza and the sky full Of stars, it’s like a magical trip. Perfect way to take a break in Air conditioning cool space!then you embark in the water journey ready to take you into a fun, musical journey of Mexican tradition. We loved it, very short wait, little street market style as well with traditional crafts and souvenirs. Definitely a great and pleasant experience.

Google
Have been on this ride many times. It never gets old. There seems to be many people who agree with me. I have never seen so many people in line for the ride. Line moved quickly. I always enjoy speaking with different people in line. Boats are older and seats close together. Can be different for taller riders. #ada #Mexico #epcot #fun

Google
Someways this ride is underrated. It is a slow moving water ride. The scenery is beautiful. The whole family can go on this ride. It’s air conditioned so it’s great when you want to get away from the heat. It usually has a short wait.

Matthew Melton

Google
This ride is one of my favorites to do. Every time that I go it’s a must do. It’s a classic ride that has been able to stay in touch with the time. It’s not to boring it’s a good ride to do one a hot summer day or when it’s rain cats and dogs to get away from the rain. It’s a family ride that would be great for little kids to go on and enjoy the sounds of the atmosphere.

John Haddock

Google
This is a fun dark boat ride that showcases many things The country of Mexico has to offer. Best of all it is air conditioned and a great way to cool off when it is hot outside. One part of the ride is even reminiscent of It's A Small World ride from the Magic Kingdom. There is Mexican party music throughout the ride that adds to the festive mood and the Three Caballeros are you guides for this ride. You even get to see them performing a musical act in person via their animatronics. Sit back, relax and enjoy the Gran Fiesta! Enjoy the fireworks near the end of the ride!

Riding Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at Disney's Epcot was an absolute blast! My friend Krystal Billings and I had an amazing time soaking in the Disney nostalgia at its finest. From the moment we stepped into the Mexico Pavilion, we were transported to a lively fiesta filled with vibrant colors, catchy music, and beloved characters. The ride itself was immersive and entertaining, taking us on a journey with Donald Duck and his pals through various Mexican landmarks. It's a must-do for anyone looking to add a dose of fun and nostalgia to their Disney experience! Marisa Balletti-Lavoie

Google
This relaxing boat ride found in the World Showcase of Mexico is very welcome after lots of walking especially in the heat. After entering and browsing the Mexican village, make your way down to this dim lit ride that is fun for the entire family. It has become one of our favorites over the many years we have traveled to Walt Disney World.

Google
Gran Fiesta is a cute little ride without much of a waiting most time of the year. I get on this ride to : - avoid heat, rain, cold or any extreme weather conditions - relieve fatigues So I’d skip this ride if I have to wait 5+ minutes.

Yelp
The grand fiesta tour is located at the Epcot Disneyland Park. Grand fiesta tour is a ride for all ages. Kids can ride this, as well as the elderly. You just float in a boat down a river and relax while you watch the show of robotic people. This ride is really similar to the It's a small world ride. Same idea/ concept. This is not a thrill seeking ride. It's more about relaxing and just enjoying the music in the scenery as you float down in the water. Gran fiesta tour is perfect for after you've eaten and you're super full and you're not ready to start walking around the park again lol Or it's great for if you're really tired from walking and your feet hurt, and you just need to take a break. This ride is super basic but it's good to do maybe one time.

Yelp
It's in the Mayan pyramid at the Mexico Pavilion. I almost skipped it thinking it was just a tourism movie. It's actually a boat ride that includes a cute performance by The Three Caballeros. There was basically no wait for this ride. I'm not sure why. Honestly, it was just great to get out of the midday sun for a while to cool off. The pyramid is an attraction all its own. I remember my husband commenting on the Mexican Mercado, and how it looks so authentic. The market sells touristy Mexican products like sombreros. The lighting inside is so cool because it makes you feel like you're visiting Mexico at twilight. Even the San Ángel Inn Restaurante terrace can be seen on the boat ride. It made me want to make reservations there. The ride is an easy one. It's actually very relaxing, dark, and cool. The perfect time to visit is obviously at the hottest time of the day. That's what we did. It's cool & fun! My favorite part of the ride was the musical performance. It's just adorable to hear Donald Duck singing with José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles.
google avatar

Yelp
Gran Fiesta Tour is a slow boat ride that's located in the pyramid in the Mexico section of Epcot. It features the three caballeros Donald Duck, Panchito, and José Carioca. It's not one of the most exciting or exhilarating rides but it's a nice family-friendly ride for kids.
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
It's a dark ride with starring the 3 Caballeros. Nothing thrilling happens on the ride... maybe in the ride's plot, but I wasn't paying attention either time I rode. I mean there is no drop in the dark or anything like that. That's OK, because, if you're like us, you've probably either just had some tequila, or you will shortly, or you're feeling the previous day's choices. So you are down with hanging with Donald Duck and company. See what I did there? Down?
google avatar

Yelp
Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros is a boat ride that takes you through the sights of Mexico. The ride is located in the Mexico Pavilion. It is a slow ride, for any age, with no height restrictions You'll be riding down the Rio Grande on a dark boat ride visiting famous cities and sites in Mexico. The ride is inspired by the 1944 Disney's movie called The Three Caballeros. This ride includes animatronics and live-action footage. It's slightly different than It's a small world, as it includes hand-drawn animation, live-action footage, and a variety of music. It's a great ride! If you're visiting Epcot for one day, you cannot miss this ride! It typically has a small wait time and you get to see beautiful sights inside the Mexico Pavilion.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
It's Donald Duck meets "It's a small world" in Epcot's Mexico pavilion. You get to sail right by the San Angel dining area. It's amazingly relaxing-especially on a hot day (or after a visit to the tequila cave nearby) It's not a thrill ride. This is definitely not for adrenaline junkies. But it's colorful, fun and smooth... and kids will love it. It's a perfect pacer on a busy Disney day. It's a place to cool off and chill... and if you're drinking around the world, it won't make you woozy. Oh-and don't worry if there's a long line... it moves quickly and if you go and come back, it could be a "walk right on" situation. Grab your "three caballeros" and go check it out.

Yelp
Howwwwww does this ride have less than 100 reviews??????? It's one of the greatest rides of all time and I swear people still skip over it. The best explanation is that it's a super awesome combo of the 3 caballeros meets it's a small world meets Coco meets travel channel meets fiesta all in one ride and you can't help but dance in your boat seat. I think my friend was going to hit me if I didn't sit still waiting in line I was so excited to get on it since it was 20 years since the last time I rode it. Which incidentally I had NEVER waited in line before, so I was excited to wait the 10 mins it took because I hope that means it won't be taken out anytime soon. I still have a life goal of eating inside the restaurant and watching the boats go by. Tip from the guys who were behind us in line, apparently the guac is a solid 10/10.
google avatar

Kyle S.

Yelp
Not sure what the point of this ride is. The shop part and restaurant portion are cool but the ride was so boring. Not sure how kids even find this amusing. Worst ride at the park.
google avatar

Ian A.

Yelp
I love Gran Fiesta Tour! It is a classic to the EPCOT experience: however, this ride is showing its age! It is definitely a repeat of it's a small world. However, I do recommend this for groups of adults and children that just want a sweet and calm riding experience. With no drops or noticiable turns, it is at its heart a calm water ride for the entire family!
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
Nice and relaxing. Max and I needed to build our appetite so we hopped on. It was too dark to take pictures.
google avatar

Jared C.

Yelp
I love Panchito, José, and Donald! They are the best. I love the slow boat ride and how they include both screens and sets. I love panchito. I love panchito. I love panchito. I love panchito
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
This is a slow dark boat ride. It's fun and relaxing. The wait is usually never long for this ride. I wish there was a hill or something to make it a little more exciting.
google avatar

Erik P.

Yelp
This ride reminds me a lot of Small World. But it's the revamped version of it focused more in the Mexico theme with Disney Characters. Kids liked it and it's different from what the kids are used to. Also like the shops walking into the ride and the whole feeling of it. Lines are short and quick usually. Worth checking out.
google avatar

Courtenay O.

Yelp
It's the Three Amigos with a little bit SMALL WORLD, a little bit COCO, and remnants from the Eastern Airlines ride, "IF YOU HAD WINGS." This relaxing boat ride through Mexico includes singing, dancing, and the mischievous Donald Duck & his 2 Amigos. I love the simulated fireworks during the Three Amigos concert. It's air conditioned and fun!
google avatar

Diego B.

Yelp
This ride is so underrated. It's a boat ride that takes you through a bunch of really neat areas that truly immerses you into a fiesta vibe with the classic characters. Spare the time to take this ride!

Yelp
This relaxing boat ride found in the World Showcase of Mexico is very welcome after lots of walking especially in the heat or on a rainy day. It has become one of our favorites over the many years we have traveled to Walt Disney World.

Yelp
The Gran fiesta tour starring the three caballeros is located in the Mexico pavilion in world showcase at Epcot. It is a gentle boat ride, akin to it's a small world at magic Kingdom, through the Mayan pyramid. Most of the ride is on the dimmer side, you will pass between the volcano and the San Angel inn restaurant (which I highly recommend for dinner; see my review on that) at one point. Overall a cute ride, albeit not super exciting, but it is a good escape from the outdoor elements.
google avatar

Beth E.

Yelp
This has always been a must do when stopping in Mexico. It is a simple ride, but cute. It's a quick ride through Mexico with Donald leading the way. Enjoy!
google avatar

Janelle F.

Yelp
Seriously one of the best rides we've been on and so underrated! The one was so short which was great for us, but you're sure missing out if you don't stop to check out out. Ride wise it reminds me a bit of Pirates of the Caribbean I solely because it's a boat type ride in the dark with such great decor, singing and old school three caballeros with Donald Duck. On a hot day it's a great reprieve from the sun. It feels a bit longer than some of the other rides. When you go inside the temple to get to the ride you're met with a cool set of shops designed as separate markets as well as a restaurant inside if you'd like to enjoy some food.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
This ride is peak camp hahaha. It's iconic, a great way to get off of your feet for a bit, indoors and air conditioned, and there's really never much of a wait (5-10 minutes max??). You'll get to see a bunch of cute images of sites and sounds around Mexico and a story through-line throughout the ride too as you work to get Donald Duck to his final performance with the rest of the Three Caballeros! It's sweet, it's gentle, and it's a great time all around. A MUST for everyone visiting Epcot!!
google avatar

Stacy K.

Yelp
Growing up this ride was one of my absolute favorite's and always needed to come to the pavilions to hang out with the Three Caballeros. The kids enjoyed it as well. So every time I go on this ride, I need to come home and watch some classic Disney cartoons to continue the Caballeros goodness. They are the best part. While I have never had the chance to eat at the Mexican restaurant in here, that also looks so good. This is a classic ride and a hidden gem.

Yelp
Epcot (Orlando) WORLD SHOWCASE [Mexico] This boat ride tour featured the Three Caballeros and is located inside the Mayan temple in the Mexico pavilion at World Showcase. It was sort of hidden and probably one of the less known, attractions. We were able to jump in right away, no wait! We rode through this relaxing, slow, dark musical boat ride in search of Donald Duck. ¿Dónde Está Donald Duck? Um, and that's about it. It's cute and showcases Mexico's various cultures, food, dress and adventures with a Dia de Los Muertos theme. Anyway, it gave us a chance to cool off away from the sun and rest our feet. Great for all ages. No drops or scares. I wouldn't use a FastPass+ for this but it's worth checking out while you're in the Mexico Pavilion. After your ride don't forget to stop at the marketplace just prior to exiting the pavilion. They have some of the most beautiful clothing, jewelry and souvenirs and the prices are fair given that it is in WDW. Review #1570

Victoria M.

Yelp
While visiting Mexico make sure you stop and go for a ride with the Three Caballeros! Do not get a fast pass for this ride - the line moves quickly and is not that popular of a ride compared to others at Epcot. The ride is in the back of the Mayan Temple and to the left. I would say the ride is a little hidden and the temple inside is on the dark side. When we went the line was only a 15-minute wait and the line was moving at a steady pace. The ride is a dark ride and your boat takes you on a journey in search of Donald Duck. Panchito Pistoles and Jose Carioca are desperately trying to find Donald throughout the ride. It seems a little chaotic and no idea why Donald is not ready for the Three Caballeros show - but hey, it is a fun musical ride with tons of colors. The ride is also slightly reminiscent of a It's a Small World with the animatronics (the animatronics were a part of the first ride that Gran Fiesta Tour replaced). The ride as mentioned is colorful and does a good job of showcasing the beauty of Mexico. The ride is slow moving and no drops - opposite of the Frozen ride a country or two over. The ride was also a nice break from all the walking, so sit back and relax! But - be careful! When your ride is over expect to crash into the boat in front of you - not a smooth landing whatsoever. After your ride be sure to check out the marketplace - tons of beautiful Mexican art and keepsakes.
google avatar

Melanie O.

Yelp
A good chance to cool off, relax your feet, find Donald all while enjoying Mexican culture! It's great for all ages, there's no scary drops or total darkness. It's filled with vibrant colors and our friendly 3 caballeros. You'll leave with their tune stuck in your head like a flock of a feather! It's a quick ride so I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for this ride!
google avatar

Austin G.

Yelp
If you need an escape from the sun, this tour lasts a few minutes, goes through water passing Donald Duck in Mexico and provides AC. Compare it to the Frozen ride and you'll be disappointed. Because of its lack of popularity, the line isn't very long for this one.
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
This was a cheesey, but cute ride in Epcot's Mexico pavilion. I'd recommend this to those who are looking for something mellow. This is yet another Disney boat ride. I'd say this attraction feels like a cross between Small World and a Mexico tourism advertisement. This is definitely a must for kids that love Donald Duck.
google avatar

Alexis L.

Yelp
How is this ride getting bashed? Let's start with what important...... It's in MEXICO. No I am not saying that because of my roots. I'm saying that because you have to walk in a full blown pyramid to get to the ride! At this time I will like to point out it's a great heat/rain get away on the immediate left of the showcase. Second I have never waited more than 20 minutes as the line moves at brisk pace. Third this ride is all user friendly! I've seen even baby's on this ride and they have a boat that offer full wheelchair access if your loved one is unable to walk on the boat. Alright I get that it's not a thrill ride but you do get to check out the colorful culture of Mexico and even get to see some dated footage of fiestas in the motherland. Who doesn't want to see Los Tres Caballeros chasing Donald Doc throughout the city?
google avatar

Geneva W.

Yelp
Love this ride it was very fun and cute line moved fairly quick wish I rode it again just for the adventure.
google avatar

Cynthia V.

Yelp
I wish every pavillion at Epcot had a cute ride like this! Even though the Three Caballeros theme is a little cheesy, the ride itself and the scenes/movie footage is gorgeous, colorful, and full of the exciting spirit of Mexico. The ride is a slow moving canal boat ride similar to Small World or Pirates. When you enter the Mexico pavilion, the ride is in the back left corner near the restaurant. No need for a Fast Pass here - the line rarely exceeds 20min.
google avatar

Jon A.

Yelp
I was at Epcot for a friend's birthday, and we were taking a bit of a walk around the world. Our first stop? Mexico! And what better way to visit Mexico than with a small river cruise with the three caballeros, right? Eh... you see, I remember this ride from before the three caballeros joined it, and I have feelings about that ride. It seemed more... like Mexico. Now it just feels like another outlet of a Disney property that most kids won't understand. I mean, really... it is Disney's attempt to revive a property that didn't exactly have the highest reception in 1944 when it was originally released. The tour takes you through various parts of Mexico in pretty much a simple oval track layout. You don't notice that the track is as straight as it is because of the various sets that you pass through that create a dynamic view, but it is a very plain path. However, I do enjoy the ride, despite the caballeros being annoying.. They distract from the presentation of Mexico at every turn, and I wish that they had been used more to portray Mexico rather than distract from it.
google avatar

Stacy F.

Yelp
This is always a must do ride for us at the Mexico pavilion. It's fun, quirky and never has a line. It has been reworked recently to primarily focus on Donald and his amigos. I have to say I honestly enjoyed it more before the redo. Although the ride has some great props and takes you through some iconic places, the Donald theme is a distraction from it all. I like Donald and the gang and it's a cute idea regardless. Overall: B We go on it every time we are in this pavilion.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
The new updates are phenomenal! This ride though still a water ride has been given a new lift. In the past 2018, this ride wasn't in the greatest shape. I am happy to say Disney's Epcot Mexico has changed for the better. It is now a smooth, clean and relaxing ride with festive colors, and characters. Donald Duck has become a big part of the attraction and the firework LEDS are spectacular to say the least. What a great job Disney has done on renovating this ride. A must go for those tried on their feet!
google avatar

Helene S.

Yelp
Paseo Del Pato Donald--Take a Trip with Donald to Mexico Cute trip to Mexico in an "Aztec" pyramid. Ride is similar to It's a Small World. While you are there, don't miss the mariachi band and explore the traditions of Día de Muertos, one of Mexico's most important holidays, at 'Remember Me!' La Celebración del Día de Muertos that honor the departed. This is a beautiful display of Mexican and Mexican-American artists. The centerpiece, "The Bridal Couple," is an impressive work of art that was created by a father and son whose family has been crafting this type of celebratory display for over 300 years. So beautiful.
google avatar

Robbie G.

Yelp
This is a slow boat ride through Mexico featuring Los Tres Amigos, Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca. Oddly enough, it has a very It's a Small World feel, if the ride focused only on Mexico. This ride is very obviously focused on children, but it is still enjoyable for adults, especially if you grew up with Donald Duck in the other characters. It's located inside the Mexico pavilion, so "Yay air conditioning!". All my Florida people know this is the real thing that matters, especially in the summer. It's located very conveniently to all the other attractions inside the Mexico Pavilion.
google avatar

Lorie L.

Yelp
Make your way to Epcot's Mexico for this boat ride with Donald and friends! Your boat will ride by diners before heading inside to show the story of Donald enjoying Mexico while his band mates try to get him back in time for their performance. It's a nice, cool ride and rarely has a long wait. Plus, there's not a lot in the Epcot countries and smaller children will appreciate the attraction.
google avatar

Johnny W.

Yelp
This is located in Epcot at the World Showcase in Mexico. This attraction is based off of the 1944 film "The Three Caballeros", which was Walt Disney's 7th animated film. This boat ride is a combination of this movie and "It's a Small World"; where Donald Duck, Jose Carioca & Panchito Pistoles are the main stars. This ride replaced El Rio Del Tiempo (1982-2007), as it was changed to Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros on April 6th, 2007. There is a rumor that this ride will closed and be changed to represent the 2017 Pixar film "Coco". I always liked this attraction, as the lines are never long and it was a great escape to ride at when the weather is extremely hot & humid. There are no drops and small children & nostalgic adults will enjoy this boat ride. I will be sad to see it go, but it would be appropriate to update it with "Coco" in the future.

Yelp
Brief Description: Located inside the Mayan pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion of Epcot. This is the typical, Disney "float ride" through multiple rooms that celebrate different aspects of Mexican culture, holidays, and daily life. Solid music, beautiful colors, and even "fireworks" effects toward the end. Pros: Beautiful colors, well-decorated rooms, great music, awesome "fireworks" effects toward the end. Short queue for the ride. Neat celebration of Mexican culture. Good for kids of any age. Cons: Little difficult to find within the pyramid, nothing really "exciting" occurring on the ride, slow. Ride rating: 1/5 Experience rating: 2/5

Yelp
The Gran Fiesta Tour is located in the Mexico Pavilion of the World Showcase in Epcot. This is a very relaxing and enjoyable boat ride under a night sky. As you slowly cruise along the river, you take in a colorful and visually pleasing conglomerate of sights and sounds that are unique to the culture of Mexico. There are ancient Mayan ruins, Mexican architecture, tropical jungles, music, dancing and heritage costumes all done either with cartoon characters, film replicas, or animatronic dolls similar to "It's a Small World." The Three Caballeros: Donald Duck, Jose and Panchito, intermingle on and off throughout the boat ride as they travel the Mexican countryside and sing songs. To me, they were a little distracting and sometimes annoying, but I understand that it probably adds to the family worthy entertainment in general. But I found them a little too hyperactive and perky. Maybe it's because I get more grumpy in my old age.... After having some Margaritas and appetizers, this boat ride experience not only contributed well to the whole Mexican theme of the Pavilion, it was just plain fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4ftiO8KXpo

Yelp
Cheesy but fun. Located in the Mexico area of EPCOT, this boat ride is worth checking out. To get to the ride you must walk through the shop area. Once on the ride you pass the large volcano and continue on your journey. The ride itself wasn't spectacular, but it was a welcome break from the heat. As long as you know what you're getting into, this ride is worth checking out.
google avatar

Dianna B.

Yelp
The last time I rode this it was still Rio del Tiempo. Mich of the ride has not changed. It is still a lovely ride thru Mexico, just now the Tres Cabelleros join you in the journey. I cant say that they are an improvement, or if they cheapen it for me. But over all, the ride has a timeless quality like Delta/Eastern's If you had wings to me. Calm and sedate, its a little "Small world" and a little "Pirates" and a lot of its own. Truly its just a nice ride on the water.
google avatar

Sherry T.

Yelp
We have always loved this ride...leisurely ride on a boat heading to nowhere in "Mexico." Our son loves the song "Los Three Caballeros" and while we've ridden this boat MILLIONS of times, we never tire of it. There's never any real wait time and it's situated in the Mexico pavilion which has a yummy tequila bar, great stores with a variety of knickknacks and colorful art work. Once you turn left into the world showcase, you must take a detour to Mexico and take in the sights.
google avatar

Peter M.

Yelp
This ride is inside the Mayan temple replica at the Mexico World Showcase pavilion. It is a continuous boat ride so the line moves fairly quickly. It starts out slowly and quietly. To the left you see the volcano, puffing smoke and muted flame, and you pass by the restaurant seating on your right. (How many restaurants have a view of an active volcano?) Personally I would prefer a more brooding ride continually in semi darkness, looking perhaps at scenes of Mayan culture always with the belching volcano in the background. But that would be a different ride, like if National Geographic built a theme park. When this ride takes off, it is another cute Disney ride, short on story and long on action. It is made up of constant music and cartoon segments, sometimes with characters moving from one TV screen to another. Also featured are stiff old animatronic figures who haven't learned basic motor function or how to talk. I am not trashing the ride, just trying to set your expectations realistically. It is a cute little ride with a moody slow start that I described above, and a boring slow finish as you wait behind other boats to disembark. When you are done you can check out the hand painted gifts (sometimes with a woman there painting them) and other gifts unique to Mexico.
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
This ride is inside the Mexican area containing the market, restaurant, and Aztec pyramid. This boat ride is a cute little trip through older Mexico with the Three Caballeros and Donald Duck. I enjoyed the music and scenery but I have to agree with another reviewer- I really really really hope they update it to include Coco soon. That movie was amazing and it would make this ride really pop!

Yelp
If only the lines at Test Track and Soarin' would move just as fast as this one did... During the last two times I was at Epcot, we always went on this ride. During my recent experience, it was my 3rd time. We got in line, and it moved rather quickly. This was because of the rows of seating that was available on each boat ride. This ride features The Three Caballeros, including Donald Duck. Apparently they were getting ready to perform when they noticed that Donald was missing. For this, they went on a frantic search to find him. Donald is seen exploring different parts of Mexico. The ride made us follow Donald Duck on his excursions with the other Caballeros rushing to find him. We rode into different rooms that featured different live-action scenes of Donald's explorations with the other Caballeros chasing him. Each room featured unique decorations that were consistent with the live-action scenes. In the end of the ride, we saw Donald Duck perform with the other Caballeros. There was one room that featured dancing animatronics singing "It's A Small World" with a Donald Duck piñata. There was another room where fireworks were going off overhead with The Three Caballeros performing all together. These rooms were very favorable. Other rooms were fine. What does Donald do exactly during his excursions in Mexico? You would have to ride and see for yourself. You may even get some kicks and giggles when you ride. Overall, this is a perfect ride to relax and have some fun. Enjoy!

Yelp
I do this ride everytime I go and I will continue to do this ride everytime. Its a cute boat ride with no line and it takes you though Mexico. The thing I DON'T like about it are those three Caballeros. It just adds an element of cheese that I am not fond of. I know, Disney is cheesy and believe me I am as cheesy as they come. But the ride was better without that cartoon element that I believe they had when I was a kid. I think it reminded me more of a Mexican Small world, which is still does have with the music and decor BUT those three Caballeros keep traipsing through and kind ruining it for me. I don't even get the story. Maybe someone can enlighten me and I can appreciate them more. Other than that its a fun little ride and I love going past the restaurant and waving at the diners, wishing I could have what they're having.

Yelp
I love Gran Fiesta Tour and I love the addition of the Three Caballeros (done in 2007)! I ride this relaxing boat ride every time I go to Epcot. I've never experienced any type of wait, just pop right on the ride! A lot of the characters throughout the ride remind me of It's A Small World. It has that same type of feel as it's a boat ride floating past animatronics...but it has the Disney droppings of Donald, Jose & Panchito~ Kind of a shame since only Panchito is Mexican, but hey, It's Three Caballeros, I get it. All in all, a fun ride, very relaxing and you won't experience a wait!

Yelp
"Es un mundo pequeño después de todo" This ride is hidden in the back left corner of the pyramid building in the Mexico Pavilion of EPCOT. Last trip, I had no idea it even existed but when planning for this most recent trip I read about it and knew my love for The Three Caballeros would make this a must ride. It is a cute boat ride taking you through various scenes and backdrops of Mexico. The ride utilizes a combination of animatronics and animation screens throughout your boat trip. The plot is simple: The Three Caballeros have a concert in Mexico when low and behold-Donald is missing?!? So you ride your boat along as Panchito and José search high and low all over Mexico to find their AWOL amigo. One of my favorite things in the ride is the inclusion of the Donald piñata that is being swung at. This nice, relaxing boat ride is a wonderful escape from the heat, a hidden gem that will leave you with a smile on your face. Disfrutar

Yelp
Gran Fiesta Tour is a boat ride in the Mexico pavilion. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't think anything really happened during the ride. I just saw ducks run from screen to screen as the boat traveled on the track. The animatronics of Donald Duck and friends at the end were cool but besides that, the ride was completely pointless. They should revamp the pavilion and use the space for something more exciting.

Yelp
This is basically it's a Small World, but only the Mexico section while on a search for Donald Duck. Yes, you're on a search for Donald Duck who has gotten ahead of himself. It's a fun little ride that doesn't last very long and is actually kinda hidden. We stumbled on it by accident, but glad we did, as we probably wouldn't have gone on this ride otherwise. Again, a nice little relaxer. Plus, it's a Small World is closed, so this might make a nice little substitute while in Disney World.
