Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana

I had the pleasure of staying here during the recent Habanos Festival.|A wonderful hotel radiating both Cuban and European charm.|While there are some challenges in being able to provide certain things in the country, the hotel and it's staff really do provide a wonderful experience. |The rooms are spacious, ckean & well appointed, the restaurant and breakfast buffet very good and above all the rooftop bar/restaurant with it's stunning views of the Capitolio superb.|Thank you to all the staff who really try and make your stay great. From Jaume, the GM, David at Concierge, Ingrid in the hotel foyer with her beautiful smile, Yuni in housekeeping and all the others who are too many to mention everyone tries to make your stay the best it can be.|Special mention to Xavier, the COO. As a former Havana local, I absolutely love this hotel. The breathtaking view of El Capitolio beautifully inspired by the Roman Capitol and the iconic Gran Teatro de La Habana, designed by the talented Paul Belau, always fills me with pride. Both are stunning and a true testament to the city’s rich architectural heritage before the communism. The hotel itself is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, the service is warm and welcoming, and everything is always sparkling clean. Definitely my go to with my bestie for a girls weekend 💖 A wonderful place to stay that captures the heart of Havana!

Everything has been great. The room is fantastic. The top roof bar with the pool has an amazing view and is beautifull. Food and drinks are great. Crew at breakfast has been really nice and helpful, special mention to Ari for her advice and kindness.

Beautiful Hotel with limitations of supplies like no coffee in the room though they provided the machine. But to be fair this may be due to the import sanctions. Service is ok not up yo par to other Kempinski properties we stayed in. Location was nice and the hotel itself indeed is beautiful

The experience starts and ends with the name.||Beyond that, really average, with the exception of concierge that was decent. ||Reception - like a two star hotel|Service - like a two star hotel (one decent receptionist)|Gym - like one star. Most of the equipment was out of service or broken|Toilet flush in room broken too||Pool was decent,||Everything insanely overpriced.||Prices advertised in CUP, but you can’t pay in CUP

After I booked 5 months inn adavance a king size bed, they provided a two separate beds room saying it was not available. Same happen to other customers. They provided several excuses to just delay to provide us with the correct room. After one day and many more excuses I asked for the manager and went streight to the room to make sure they were cleaning it. As gesture they offered either a massage or two cheap cocktails. They simply lost customers. Poor food for breakfast as well.

Rooftop bar has fantastic views but that's about it. Service is non existent even by Cuban standards. 10 USD for a sparkling water -uhm, I don't think so!
